Second time coming here for their crepes! Sweet or savory - they’re both amazing!
Ordered items:
- Poseidon Galette (smoked salmon, dill sauce, capers, magic)
- Long name for a galette w chicken, cheese, asparagus, & mushrooms
- Lemon & butter crepe (simple, light & straight to the point)
- Funtastyc (didn’t like the taste of the flaming alcohol poured on our sweet crepe :/ , but it looked cool!)
Cafe Breton has always been one of my fave crepe places since i was young, and they still serve good food up to now. Both their sweet and savory crepes are must-trys. You can even customized your own crepes so that you can make sure you get everything you want 😍 I had ham and cheese put inside my savory crepe then opted to have a dessert crepe which resembles an apple pie. Their egg casserole is surprisingly good too. We also enjoyed their coffee. Perfect place to have chill breakfast/brunch/dessert after a meal.
Their crepes are the best! And the art on their coffee is cute! Menu is kinda pricey, but still worth it if you want to treat yourself. 😊👍🏻
Thank you lesly. For looking after us. It was an excellent service together with your staff. We will surely come back and taste again your delicious crep. I’m so inlove with it. Awesome!!!
I love having dessert here. Their crepes are amazing! La Pinay is an easy choice but lately I discovered La Fantastique & if you love liquor in your icecream this one’s the best
Cafe Breton is that usually small cafe with a country-looking ambiance. If I could associate it with any sound, it would be the elegance of English accent. It is the perfect place for a date or a lunch meeting — and sitting there, I knew it’s also a perfect place to spend time by yourself.
Deja Vu - a crepe filled with mangoes with special cream sauce, smothered with caramel syrup, and topped with vanilla ice cream. It’s quite pricey but the name-forgetting first bite will have you head-over-heels — you will forget about how much you’d have to pay and even consider it cheap!
Tuna Sandwich - While Deja Vu is so yummy, it will not get two people full, so we also ordered a Tuna Melt Sandwich. Sounds boring, you think? But you’ll be surprised about how it will erase your bad memories about Tuna Sandwich. With its cheese melted to perfection, creamy tuna, and fresh bread, you will enjoy every bite.
Great place to meet up with friends. Cozy, intimate and good food. Love the mango crepe, the hot chocolate was great. I had a surprise because they told me they’re using powdered choco, so I was not really expecting so much. But wait, it’s more than just an ordinary powdered choco. The the potency of its texture was just right, the warmth when i cupped it in my hands, brings comfort to match the cool ambiance and the scent of that good ole hot choco transports me to another place call home. Love it!
Cheers❤️
All I can say is:
I can’t go on a week without getting my favorite La Pinay with additional scoop of ice cream. This is one of my favorite desserts. If you want the best crepe, you must try eating here. You can even make your own crepe.
If we decide to have dinner here, I would always order the Galette Paysanne.
Cafe Breton has a special place in my heart and tummy.
My wife and I often try to have dates in Cafe Breton almost every year when we are back in the Philippines.
I highly recommend the Galete Rustique as a savory meal to fill the tummy with protein. I also highly recommend the crepe with butter and sugar as the climax to the Cafe Breton experience. As you can see from the photos my wife and I had identical orders and we had an extra crepe with butter and sugar to share as one was not enough.
I would love to give this store 5 stars but I hesitate as I still remember the crepe with B&S to be below PHP 100 (it is currently priced at PHP 120 which is more than a hearty meal in some stores, such as my recent review of Rufo's famous tapa)
Their sausage platter is a work of art waiting to provide much needed nourishment after an evenings fast. Its easy to miss this culinary kaleidoscope in the menu as it is inconspicously written down as one of the all day breakfast items If you do happen to notice it and order it from the lot you will for sure get your absolute moneys worth as you are treated to 2 kinds of juicy sausages, runny sunny side up eggs, perfectly fried hash browns and of course toast. This is the embodiment of the term big breakfast because its good and is satisfyingly filling.
We went here for dinner but unfortunately the place is a bit small and there were many customers during our visit which is why we didn’t really got a nice spot for us to seat. But other than that, everything was good especially their crepes which were very delicious. Would definitely visit again soon to try out a different flavor!
I still have Paris on my mind, that is why when I saw Cafe Breton while walking towards another restaurant after mass at Greenbelt, I suddenly stopped and changed lunch plans altogether. Crepes and galettes are a staple in France. In fact, walking along Champs Elysee there are a number of crepe stalls on the way to the Arc. But, crepes are generally perceived to have its base at Breton or Brittany on the Northwest portion of France. Crepes are largely made of sweet wheat flour and normally reserved for sweet fillings while galettes are made of buckwheat, darker in color and associated with savories. They do not rise like pancakes because of the absence of baking powder and are thin and flat, though galettes are a bit thicker than crepes to hold the filling. But, these terms are used loosely now so crepes could either be sweet or savory depending on type of flour utilized. It is said that you should only eat at creperies where there is no stack of ready made crepes, where they only make your crepes as you order them. One such creperie that I truly enjoyed was La Droguerie du Marais along Rue des Rosiers. It usually has a long line of patrons patiently waiting their turn because they know that the wait is well worth it. At an average of €5-7, it is a cheap, grab and go meal that is filling and delicious. I had the ham, cheese, mushroom and capers galette that was crispy and so good, it was other-worldly. Another creperie I would recommend in the Montmartre area is Creperie Broceliande where I had their Leonaise Galette which had minced meat, veggies, cheese, mushrooms...also great. And their Orangette, a sweet crepe which had candied orange slices and 70% dark chocolate sauce...winner!
Here at Cafe Breton, we ordered their Galette Brettone (spinach, shrimps sauteed with crab meat and onions, fresh cream, gruyere cheese at P330) and Excalibur (ham, emmental cheese, asparagus spears sauteed with mushrooms and onions at P260). The first thing I noticed was that their galette is crepe-like in texture, it was soft and mushy and didn't have the crisp, texture and added flavor of the galettes in Paris. The filling is delicious, but quality and freshness of ingredients lags a little from its Paris counterparts. Understandably, the distance travelled and time involved on ship or plane could affect quality and taste. The Excalibur was scrumptious. The mix of asparagus spears and mushrooms/onions was on point. The ham used was of good quality. But, just like the galette when you have tasted French cheeses in France, you will notice the difference. The thing that travel brings aside from the cultural exposure and the engaging conversation with locals of a certain place is you're more aware of the subtleties in quality and flavor of the food you eat.

One of my favorite hang out place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is the best crepe in the Philippines. (Hahaha such a bias comment) but it is true. The quality and taste of their food has never changed. Totally superb!
Been visiting this branch of Cafe Breton since my college days. One of the things I love about it is it hasn't really changed at all. Same chine, same taste, and the same service. Consistent to the core. What I always order was the La Pinay, but nowaday, I prefer something plain like the butter sugar with lemon crepe. It's so simple, butter and sugar with a squeeze of lemon juice on top. The sugar melts into the butter and the acidity added by the lemon is quite addicting. I pair this with a cappucino. That's what I call a great start to my day.

When I think of crepe, the first restaurant that comes to mind is Cafe Breton! There are other crepe places now like Le Creperie that are also good but in my book, Cafe Breton is the original or classic crepe place in Manila.
I have lots of faves depending on the mood i.e. if I’m hungry, am I craving for savory or sweet, that sort of thing.
For tonight, I just wanted a simple dessert / snack for a nightcap, nothing heavy and so my go-to is always as in always the Butter & Sugar crepe (I request it to be slightly toasted) and despite its simplicity, it hits the spot!
The Greenbelt branch looks small but actually seats a lot of customers at one time (i.e. ample tables and chairs inside and outside).
P.S. I also had the grape slush (₱150), it was okay but nothing compared to Cibo’s grape shake so probably not ordering that again and will try another fruit drink or just stick coffee.
I dined here one Monday morning and I was their first customer. I was already seated inside and it took around 5 minutes before someone hands me their menu. I ordered Sausage Platter and it was so good and it's a perfect breakfast meal for me! The serving is generous, I could have shared it with someone! The place is cozy. I will definitely be back to try some of their crepes.
We just had dinner in a not so fancy Japanese resto and we were looking a cafe to chill and have some sweets and some interesting kind of crepe. From Din Bosco area we headed to Greenbelt since it was just near, so we went there we were torn between Cafe Breton or Seattle’s Best. Cafe Breton won, so we went inside and ordered Excalibur | Poseidon | Black and White Forest Milk shake and | La Dèlice with Vanilla ice cream on top. Their food were all great tasting 😋
Since the daughter was dismissed very very early and the malls are still closed we decided to eat breakfast again. We chose to eat here because the daughter wanted crepe and never tried this place. She ordered Galette Rustique and I got Galette Paysanne. These crepes are made of wheat and topped not filled. This is not my first time to eat here and i am glad that they have not changed. The taste and quality of the food is still the same.
My daughter also liked the food, she said "i really like it... its good" with a matter of fact tone hahaha
The place is clean and very homey. Not much people when we dined because like i said it was still early. The service is fast as well. Good place for chit-chat and catch ups.
Keep it up CB coz you're two thumbs-up!
What we ordered:
1) Le Magnifique (5/5)
- This was really good! It looked too sweet, but the banana balanced it very well.
2) Customized Crepe (Mango and Caramel Ice Cream) (3.5/5)
- Either the ice cream wasn't good or the combo of caramel ice cream and mango don't go very well.
3) Caramel Liegeois (5/5)
- Excellent. Had whipped cream, but my friend didn't get tired of the taste. It wasn't too sweet. However, don't expect the coffee to taste very deep. This is more decadent than caffeine-heavy.
Notable things:
- Food was served quickly. Waiters all looked friendly and were all pleasant.
Things to be improved:
- Place could be more cozy. Chairs aren't really comfortable.
A MUST TRY PLACE
First, I thought this place was overrated but when I went there and finally tried it, *JUST WOWZA !*
This Banana Crepe I had was Absolutely Amazing ❤️
You might feel it's not pocket friendly but it's Totally Worth it !
Will be going back again for suree ! ✨
Hubby wanted to have a night cap before going home so we passed by Cafe Breton.
He had 2 bottles of beer and a shot of Tequila while I had my default Coke Zero.
We ordered the Galette Paysanne which has Hungarian sausage, caramelized onions, sunny side-up egg and asparagus with cheese sauce. Presentation and taste was good.
Staff were very accommodating despite the late hours (we dined nearing 1am already).
I also had a Déjà Vu but I got too excited and ate it all the way, without so much as taking a photo of it or drinking water in the middle.
Let me start by saying Cafe Breton has really good quality crepes. Made into perfection. It was my first time to try crepes that are savoury ‘cause I honestly find the idea of it weird. I mean, why can’t you eat this with rice instead right? But yes, these dishes I ordered were in absolute perfection.
The place is quite small considering the amount of people who’d like to eat here. Obviously, business is doing well for them.
Been craving crepes, so I had dinner over at Cafe Breton with my friend and sister.
The first photo shows our savory selection— Hamburcrepe to the left, which included a hamburger patty topped with a tomato sauce, on a crepe with veggies and mushrooms, and a Galette Bretonne above, which was a seafood crepe with shrimps, crab meat and veggies. ❤️ Mine would be the vegetarian selection on the right— Dracula— which was a simple crepe of Cheese, Tomato and Garlic. 🧀 Love the Dracula for its straightforward, simple flavors of salty and sour mixed with the garlicky tang that brings it all together. But what I love most is their dessert crepes— our second photo. 🤤
Here, we feature the well-loved bestselling Butter and Sugar Crepe for me, Ala Nutella for my Nutella-loving friend, and Adam and Eve, which includes a crepe filled with stewed apples and cinnamon— all of which are topped with vanilla ice cream. 😋 It actually sounds and looks great, so I’m definitely getting that for myself on my next visit. ❤️
Cafe Breton is the exact definition of “comfort food”. This all-time classic has never been one to disappoint. Whether it be savory or sweet, their crepes surpass all expectations.
Devour some cheese and asparagus filled crepes or even some tomato-infused spaghetti for dinner while classics such as A la Nutella or Deja Vu are perfect for a late night dessert run.
Whatever you choice of poison is, Cafe Breton will whip it up exceptionally well.
Order Galette Rustique and you’ll order this every chance you get. I would choose this a thousand times over. It's part of the savory crepe and it’s made of Bacon, tomatoes and sunny side up. Tastefully done! I usually add drops of Tabasco to add a spicy finish.
Burgers and crepes are so soo goood!!! 🤤😩💛 Great food, good service. Cozy place. 🤪 worth every peso! 👌🏻 Love their Breton Mozarella Burger and La Pinay Crepe. ♥️ Will definitely go back to this place. 🙂🙈
super super love their savory crepes! this is by far my favorite crepe/gallete place. Love that you can mix and match the ingredients and make your own but their menu standards are great as well. tried the ones with hungarian sausages and the ones with smoked salmon. super perfect for brunch or for a light afternoon snack. the ambience outside at night is also perfect with all the lights

I downloaded this app just to add a review for this place! Good service, great food, even greater ambiance. Worth every peso! Will be coming back soon!
I was looking for a restaurant that offers healthy meals in Greenbelt. And thankfully, I found Cafe Breton. I love the sausage platter! But the tuna salad/sandwich, it was really large I cannot finished everything haha but I love that they have big servings. The spaghetti was okay, nothing special. But if you are in a healthy living, this place is perfect for you.
Cafe Breton is one of those places I don't often eat at but I do enjoy the times that we do. Their savory plates make for a great breakfast even if seemingly not "traditional" from a Filipino perspective.
Their crepes are pretty top notch whether we're taking about desserts or savory options. I'm more than likely to order the Hamburcrepe as it's such a fun balance of flavors between the burger, the spinach and the mushrooms.
After our Pre Valentines Lunch, We decided to stroll around Greenbelt first (It was the nearest mall) then we finally got tired and went for coffee!! gahh, I love coffee!!! ❤️ The branch in Podium has a better ambiance compared to the Greenbelt branch (if you’re looking for a place MORE...
I love their savory crepes. This is also one of our comfort food. We love their veal sausage, tomato, cheese and egg and their Gallette Paysanne.
My first time to review Cafe Breton at this location although it seems I've been going here since a long time .
Breton is a great place to eat light. I love the galettes (pancakes made with buckwheat flour usually with a savory filling) here. We had Galette Bretonne filled with spinach and shrimps sautéed in crab meat. Tasty and light! My partner had the Galette Marrakech which came with an egg and a spicy beef sausage filling. Tasty too.
Breton has refreshing fruit slashes. We had Mango Slush and Grape Slush.
It’s a little cute cafe with the colors tile designs throughout. Service here has usually been slow and hasn’t changed over the years. However, I always come back for the crepe. There are not a lot of places like this where they serve savory and sweet crepes.
I would usually get la delice. It comes with chocolate hazelnut, almonds, bananas and ice cream.
Never tried crepe? This is probably the place that will encourage you to try one. This is the only cafe that serves my crepe like how I want it to be. The venue has a nice ambiance same with their other locations, but their branch here in Greenbelt is kinda small, so expect it to be packed at times.
We've ordered the following:
The 'Breton Mozzarella Burger' has a very juicy patty. The sauteed onions and mushrooms goes well with the patty. I didn't like the bun though, it was kinda sloppy. There's mozzarella oozing from the patty's center as you bite it! It was delicious but it was less than I expected.
The 'Butter & Sugar with Lemon Crepe' is one of the simplest crepes from their menu. The powdered sugar is sprinkled on top of the melted butter. The zest of lemon gives a twist with its simple taste. I'm giving this a thumbs up.
The 'La Pinay Crepe' is my usual order whenever I dine in any of their branch. This is the best crepe I've ever tasted to date. The sweetness of the vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce is complemented by the mangoes. The mangoes are fresh and not too sour.
For drinks, we had their 'Coconut Slush' and 'Chocolate Ice cream Milk shake'. The slush was too plain, nothing special about it. I didn't taste the coconut that much. For the milk shake, it was too sweet for me. It was thick but not that creamy.
Aside from the dessert crepes, you can also opt for their savory offerings. I'm looking forward to try their galettes, pastas, salads, all-day breakfast meals and ice creams. They have a wide variety of drinks from shakes, floats, coffee, ice-blended, wines, cocktails and beers.
Dessert??? This is the place to be love their crepe specially the Deja Vu and la pinay. But Deja vu is the best. All branches tasted the same good job love it!!!

The service in general was great. Food was served in a timely manager, and the manager was helpful in talking about the one problem my family had when we visited.
My family had crepes, I had a blueberry parfait.
Apparently, the Makati BLU Card, which serves as proof that a person (my father) is a senior citizen, is not honored at Cafe Breton. Other evidence of age us required to be shown/used instead.
Then there's the fact that the waitress put her foot in her mouth when said: Sa Makati lang yan (refering to the blue card). Which doesn't make any sense considering which branch of Café Breton this is.
Other than that, no problem.
This is my favorite crepe place! I can’t name a favorite crepe because I like so many of their crepes and I love the idea that they have a long long list of crepe selections. They even have savory crepes as well!

Cafe Bretonne is good but you will get distracted by the loud and annoying sounds of cafe havana.
If you are craving for crepes i suggest to visit cafe breton ...taste good at very very low cost.....Perfect 😊😉hohohoho PS: just crepes not their coffee 😁
The galettes are great, plus the Nutella and almond crepe too! Although it would be great if they would have sockets, so people can work and have meetings there.
Give me everything with whipped cream on the menu!😍
Met up with friends for dinner over the long weekend. Cafe Breton had a table for 5 that was inside the store and away from the humid weather... My friends had some of their savory dishes and crepes (I would recommend the mozarella burger!) but I went straight for the dessert!🤗
My cafe leigeois was so sinfully sweet but I enjoyed every bit of it... My friend and I shared an order of the La Pinay-- lots of mangoes in the crepe with a scoop of ice cream on top... Perfect for the humid weather we have been having...
The staff were so nice despite it being pretty late already... They were really working hard that night to make sure the needs of their customers were met...👍
The only place that convinces me to eat crepe! I love their A La Nutella! I'm not a big fan of nutella, don't judge me please. But their serving of this just makes it so good! While my friends usually get butter & sugar!
Visited today to catch up with a friend, of course over snacks 😂. We chose this place based since we want light meal and coffee. The place is quite small so they have outside seating.
I ordered Cafe Liegeois and Hearty Breakfast Plate. For my drink, I am really craving for coffee so I had Cafe Liegeois as it says espresso shot and coffee ice cream in the menu. You may choose decaffeinated one, but got mine as is. The drink is yummy and had the right amount of sweetness. The whip cream is also kinda thick which I like. One thing I noticed tho is that it doesn't really taste coffee. It's more a chocolate drink for me. For my food, although I'm drooling on dessert crepes in the menu, I still chose savory food because i'm quite hungry haha. I had the Hearty Breakfast Plate from their breakfast selections. For this dish, you may opt for ham or bacon and scrambled or sunny side up eggs. I got both the latter. First thing I noticed about the meal is that the bacon looks like ham haha but tastes really good. I also liked that they cooked my egg under because I really like it runny. The toast tastes fine but nothing special. Same goes to the side salad.
Overall, I enjoyed the food and got full. The ambience is also nice. I'll be back and try their crepes.

Surprisingly, I've never been to a cafe Breton before. So i gave it a try, I ordered Gallette Marrakech for the entree, then blueberries and cream for dessert and macchiato for coffee. The savory crepe was okay, I love how kinda spicy it is. It's kinda bitin for me tho. And I think that the blueberries and cream crepe stood out more than the savory crepe. The coffee was okay, there's no fuss about it coz it's basically an espresso shot. The ambiance was okay, the service was alright too.
Best crepes in the Metro, hands down. Quality and taste has been consistent all these years. What more could you ask for? Service staff is attentive and quick. One of my go to places for comfort food and good ambience!
When I go here, I only order a scoop of ice-cream. It's affordable and delicious. The place itself is nice and quiet compared to other restaurants in Greenbelt (aka great place to catch up with friends you haven't seen in a while).
During the day/afternoon, the service is great. When I went here in the evening, the staff wasn't that attentive and I had to go to the cashier to actually order.
Their mango crepe is so plain but it's the yummiest , ever! Plus have some single shot cafe mocha to match your crepe 👌🏻 They offer variety of milkshakes too and a wide selection of crepes. You can even make your own desired crepes .
The ambiance is good but the place can get a little crowded sometimes since they have a small place in greenbelt.
I always go to cafe breton whenever i crave for crepes.
My personal favorite is La Pinay with extra chocolate ice cream and extra mango. That's the total sugar overload! Never fail to finish my great night with friends with an awesome dessert! Finish the whole thing before the ice cream melts!

Love the feel of their cafe. It's perfect for going out with friends. On Sundays, my sisters and I have brunch here and no matter what we order it doesn't fail us. I can get my dose of non-caffeinated coffee with their wide range of options. Also my sisters are both on keto diets so they're able to eat the breakfast meals - they just give the toast to me haha. Flavorful and definitely worth my money - I'll see you tomorrow!
What if you and your friends cannot decide whether to drink booze or get coffee and dessert after dinner?
Simple. Go to Cafe Breton.
Aside from their sweet endings, they serve all types of drink options to cap your night. Whether it may be beer, tea, espresso, coffee, milkshake, etc., surely there's something for everyone. But their magic lies in their wide array of crepes. Have yet to experience the savory ones, but I've always been a fan of their dessert crepes. Personal favorite would be La Pinay (simple mango and chocolate), but the recently tried Deja Vu was also a hit (mangoes, caramel, ice cream, and 'secret sauce'). Tried also the Nutella crepe, but my vote goes to the former.
Place is chill and cozy, good for hanging out (on a weeknight) and service is good too. This will remain to be one of my go-to end-of-the-night places after work.
Place is prefect for an after-party hangout with friends or by yourself. Place is alwats busy which means people trust their products because they are coming back often. I love their rustic ambience which suits your mood if you're looking for a laid back kind of place to hang out at.
Caramel Legoise is my fave drink from this cafe.
Chicken Run was good, it was very filling.
Galette Bretonne is also good too, there was shrimp and crab meat inside.
The cafe has Latin/European ambience. This place is good for coffee and/or snack time to chat with friends. I ordered green tea latte with steamed milk. The taste is fine but i hope the drink is a bit hot. I got mine in warm.
I always order the Gallette Paysanne and La Pinay...they are my favorite 😊 The place looks like a cafe in France. It is very quaint and inviting. Unfortunately, the place is packed during weekends and it can be very noisy.
Lovely place. But do not eat here alone because you'll end up feeling sad and you'll consume your food half the time you should, because the ambiance is meant to be enjoyed by a group of friends, or for a lovely date.
So i ordered the Tuna melt. It had a small serving but it was delicious, also with salad on the side.... Then i left.... Sad.
Their menu is limited and mostly consist of sweets, but they have good crepes and salads. I recommend the plain crepe with lemon and the cafe bretonne salad. The seats and table are quite small and made of wood so it is tough.
After a tiring walk but festive mood,i was searching a place where I can have brewed coffee as my favorite coffee shop was full.I went down and went here.I ordered the crepe variant named as dejavu ,folded crepe with mango filling and mango ice cream topped with cream drizzled with chocolate syrup. The crepe is very good especially filled with the finest mango in the world ,the Philippine mango.
Pricewise reasonable ,staff are friendly ,nice interior tho a bit cramped.
And I love the color of their coffee cups ,the blue and white cups very relaxing.
Finally a restaurant that knows the language of crèpes! Not only do you get a quaint little place that's perfect for afternoon chika sessions with your girlfriends, their crepes are also perfect for sharing.
We tried out Blueberry & cream and Dejà vu, and they just made us smile the moment the plates were laid in front of us. You can also make your own and even go savory if you want something salty, but the popular ones include combinations that are sometimes predictable but are harmonious together.
Service efficiency could be better, but the crepes make up for it.
It was already late when my brother and I finished shopping for supplies and decided to have dinner before heading home. I gave him a rundown of restos I know in Greenbelt (that we could afford) and he chose here.
I ordered their Galette Rustique while my brother ordered their Galette Marrakech.
I think I was expecting galettes to have a lot of fillings folded inside the crepe, just like the ones I ate in La Creperie a few months ago. Apparently, the good stuff is found on the outside and the crepe merely serves as a base. What I ordered was good, but I was expecting a lot more since I absolutely loved the last crepe I ate. My brother liked his order though. However, I found the sausage too hard and dry. Also, it was very thin! Try putting on a dollop of habanero sauce on your dish; it makes a really huge difference! Don't go crazy on it though. I made a huge mistake of putting too much habanero so I was almost crying throughout my meal.
As for the ambiance, the lighting was dim and relaxing, which went perfectly with the sound of the rain outside while we were dining. I wish they adjusted their speaker volume, though, because I could barely hear any music above the din of the rainfall and chatter of people.
For the service, it was quite crowded when we entered so it was expected that the attention of the staff would be stretched thin over the entire place.
I was with my mom & sister when we ate here a couple of months ago. We ate snacks for merienda and i ordered their La Délice Crepe. It's one of the best crepes I ever tasted!
The ambiance is very cool and makes you feel like you're in a foreign place. Truly a relaxing place to hang out with friends or family. :)
This café never fails to impress me. I wanted to try different things on their menu. It looks sinful & sumptuous. I can still remember my 1st taste of their crêpe when I was still a college student back then. It was heaven & until this time it's still good. They also have nice romantic cozy seats for couples. My partner will agree with this. Café Breton is highly recommended for a good place to dine in.
I think this branch was one of their first if not the first among a number of their stores. At about 1030pm after French Festival screening, it was still full, both inside and outside. One thing I noticed, the acoustic around was not well made. The noise was almost unbearable.
Anyway, I went for my usual round of create your own crepe. It turned out interesting when I replaced the usual cheddar cheese to capers as the salt replacement. I normally go buckwheat with chicken, spinach, tomatoes, chili and sunny side up. The egg though they never get right when I request for over easy.
My friend's Galette Rustique impressed with good portion of savory Smoked Bacon, tomato provencal, mozarella and runny egg (at least here they made it happen).
For a yummy dessert crepe, check out their La Pinay. When combining Crepe with Nutella, it is made perfect.

I was waiting for my boyfriend to arrive and I was really really hungry that time. Walking around Greenbelt, I saw this branch of Cafe Breton. I wanted to try this one out for a long time and finally I did. The staff are so nice and accommodating, I love their attire and the overall feel of the place. I went for their Banana Split which tasted heavenly. I'd definitely return for their crepes. 👍🏼
We got the mango crepe and the banana and chocolate crepe. I love crepes and Cafe Breton does not disappoint.
This time I also got their green tea latte. It looks more white than green haha! I could still taste the green tea flavor but I think the milk overpowered it.
I love their Mozzarella burgers and Déja Vu. Always have, always will. One of the best burgers and crepes I've eaten. Pretty sure a lot of people love their mozzarella burgers and crepes, too.
Always a pleasant experience dining here and eating my favorite La Pinay crepe! The combination of sweet mangoes, chocolate syrup, and ice cream really blend well. 😊
Must try lists
Savoury crepes:
1. Poseidon: topped with smoked salmon
2. Hamburcrepe: with burger patty
Dessert crepes:
1. Le Magnifique: banana, nutella, almonds (for those who dont like icecreams but love almnonds)
2. Funtastyc: banana choco with flambe!! (For flambe lovers)
2. Mango Loco: mango, ice cream, cinnamon, grand marnier (for mango lovers with liquors
3. De javu: for mango lovers
Drinks:
Order their coffee vanilla liegeolis! Its coffee drinks with ice cream vanilla!! I love it!!
After a long day, me and my cousins decided to get dessert and we agreed to try out Cafe Breton's Crepes. We had their Fantastic Pinay and Mango Loco which is so good together with the mangoes and cream. Both our orders are mango based and I think the mango loco is much better.
We paired our crepes with a serving of tea and I got their Apple Cinnamon Tea. Their tea is basically the teabags you can buy in the local grocery so it's a bit costly for me.
Overall experience was great and the service is good.
I started loving Cafe Breton way back before Y2K when it was still located in Orosa St., Malate. Up to now, it is still one of my favorite restaurants that serve delicious crepes, that is despite the emergence of similar food establishments. This branch in Greenbelt has been around for years and its staying power is proof that people, old and new, continue to patronize its products. The interior offers a dimly lit, sophisticated ambiance suitable for dates and intimate gatherings. I have no specific favorite; I order a different crepe in each visit, more on the dessert variants.

It's such a cheap, no-more-second-thinking, I-just-want-a-good-dessert item for me, and one that I prefer having either semi toasted or flambeed. I used to not like this with lemon but this year has brought a renewed appreciation of the fruit--be it in my crepe, drinking water, fish or even cheesecake. 😁
As good as it gets. Excellent coffee and the Crepes are incredible. The latte and cappuccino that I ordered were one of the finest coffees compared to trillion of the coffee shops in the Greenbelt/Makati area. The beans provide an earthy, deep flavor that was beyond compare.
Seating is limited, but you're always made to feel welcome by the friendly baristas. Perfect place for a pick-me-up mid day! They have fast, friendly service and great coffee. Cafe Breton has so much to offer and I truly cannot recommend it enough.
I had always noticed this restaurant before but have never really tried it until today. This place is known for their crepes, both sweet and savory and all day breakfast fare. As with all cafes, you can get copies of today's newspapers and magazines to read while you wait.
The interiors is designed to be like a french style bistro, which I found cute but a bit too dated. I also noticed that a lot of foreigners are having their power lunches and coffees here which could also mean that their food has some level of authenticity.
We had one of their bestsellers which is The Excalibur, a savory crepe filled with emmenthal cheese, asparagus spears, ham, onions and mushrooms. I don't fully understand why the name, but I understand why this dish is one of their bestsellers....it's simply delicious. The asparagus spears are a bit difficult to eat with a fork but with the mushrooms it gives this dish a slightly nutty "umami" taste. Then we also had the Hearty Breakfast Platter with my choice of bacon instead of ham. Despite the name and the size of the serving, I still found this meal not heavy at all. Maybe its because of the salad greens and the tomatoes that came with the platter or maybe the bacon which is not bacon strips at all but rather was canadian ham which has a bacon taste but less fattier. I like that it came with four triangles of buttered toast since most breakfast places only serve two. And the toast is perfectly toasted and with just the right amount of butter. Drinks were calamansi and orange juice which the waiter informed me were not the freshly-squeezed kind but the bottled variety. I can live with that. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of ingredients they use. By the way, their food is served in this beautiful blue and white plates reminiscent of mosaic tiles.
The crepes are made to order, and they have a wide variety of both savory and sweet crepes to choose from. They also serve wine here which I didn't got to try because I am still working after my lunch break. Maybe next time....wink wink.
Its the first time I've tried eating savory items in Cafe Breton. I love their crepes and their vanilla milkshake. But this time we decided to dine here for lunch. Their food is good. My order was the Go Fish which is an open-faced sandwich with scrambled egg and salmon on french toast. The french toast was a bit too much but the serving portion is good. It just had too much capers (not a fan of capers). I love the salad on the side. It was a great dining experience.
Their crepes are good, coffee is ok as well. Nothing special with their menu and how the food taste. Not a fan of their sandwiches. Would suggest the place for a good chat and dessert place.
I love crepes and I adore Cafe Breton! I love everything about them, their food, the feel of their restaurant and their pricing too - pretty justifiable.
They've recently revamped their menu & I was over the roof! I've tried nearly everything from their old menu so seeing new dishes made me giddy. I've had their eggs casserole and how runny the eggs are, simply perfect with gruyere & mushrooms!
I love Cafe Breton because of how consistent the quality of their food is. Last night, my family & I decided to eat here in their Greenbelt branch before catching the LFS of Scorch Trials. Our dessert run quickly turned into a light dinner. We couldn't resist ordering their savory dishes!
My Dad got his usual, the Galette Paysanne. My mom decided to get the Chicken, Oranges & Almonds salad because she was still full from her early dinner. My sister & I decided to split a savory crepe because we were still kinda full too. I usually get the Breton Mozzarella Burger, the Poseidon or the Galette Breton, but I decided to try something different. I suggested the Hamburcrepe because I've heard good things about it & my sister was game to try it. It was a good call because it was so good! ❤️ The burger patty was cooked perfectly and well-seasoned. It went well with the tomatoes, mushrooms & spinach. I'd love to order this again when I crave for something lighter than their mozzarella burger. My mom's salad was also good. The chicken strips were juicy, the oranges were sweet & the almonds added the crunch that rounded everything up nicely. I also loved that there was arugula. I only took a bite from the hungarian sausage from my Dad's order, and it was juicy with the right amount of spice.
For dessert, we usually get the La Delice and the Butter & Sugar with Lemon. We were craving for mangoes though so we decided to get the Deja Vu. It was also pretty good! Service was okay. My only gripe is that it took them quite a while to give us our bill & we were in a rush because of our movie. But thankfully, we still made it. All in all, it was still a good dinner! :)
Cafe Breton, you and I go way back in the day, my darling. From the 1990s, (if I can remember correctly) you are still my favorite and the go-to place for crepes in town.
There are numerous crepes on the menu to pick from, ranging from the savory to the sweet. And with it's variety of fillings to choose from, the combonations are endless. Of course, I cannot deny that Cafe Breton is the place where I first discovered and tried Nutella. There was no turning back at that point, it became my favorite sweet spread on bread from that day foward. Aside from the A La Nutella, there are a few favorites on the menu that have remained to be my favorites, even after 2 decades.
For the savory crepes I would almost always pick the Dracula (cheese, tomato and garlic), which is so simple and good, and the other would have to be the Poseidon (smoked salmon, dill, sour cream and capers). Smoked salmon is one of the best food items ever created by men, I can never get enough of it. Hence, that would mean that when I order the Poseidon, I always ask for extra smoked salmon.
For the sweet crepes, besides the A La Nutella being my first pick of choice, the other favorites that I have are the Adam & Eve and the La Pinay. With the Adam & Eve, one can't really go wrong with messing up such a classic combo of stewed apples with cinammon, and then it's topped off with vanilla ice cream. Cafe Breton has the best stewed apples in all of Manila. It's stewed perfectly not bing to overly sweet or mushy. The La Pinay is another no fail favorite-- mangos, vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. I'll bet that every Pinoy would agree with me that the La Pinay crepe is a must. If they would disagree, then I would have to say that they aren't Pinoy. Hehe. No hate going on here.
Cafe Breton is a nice place to hang with that special someone, with a few friends, or even with ones self. I have been here countless times, by myself at night, having a sweet crepe and a pot of tea, with a nice book to read. Honestly, the ambience of the first location of Cafe Breton in Greenbelt back in the day was much better, more intamite and quiet. In it's current location, sound does tend to bounce off glass a lot, making things a little too noisy at times. I may loose my spot in my book, but I can't complain. The crepes and service are still great, even after more or less 20 years of dining here.
Now I shall raise my spoon filled with Nutella... Here's to many more years to come, my darling Cafe Breton.
Best crepe in town --savory or sweet. My favorites are cherries jubilee, galette amercain and HAMBURCREPE! Their burger is amazing too--it's stuffed witt mozzarella! I still like the charm of their original branch in QC (the Greenbelt branch is quite cramped). No other creperie comes close! 😜
Ever since I was a kid, I would be soo excited when my parents would bring me to Cafe Breton! I would always get my favorite Poseidon or Dracula and end with a good butter and sugar crepe. Since then, I've tried almost all their savory crepes including the notable Hamburgcrepe! Ultimately all items on the menu are praiseworthy and consistent. Luv!!
definitely a place to hang, or for "tambay" with your friends, make chit chats and have their delicious crepes and desserts. I'm a pasta lover so I tried their spaghetti, a bit pricy though, but still its delicious.
The perfect place to go for expensive and delicious desserts. My favorites are Original Sin (photo attached I think), La Pinay and Le Magnifique.
The place is okay but nothing special about the service. Perfect hang out after having your dinner.
I have always been and will always be a loyal fan of Cafe Breton. I tried the Tarzan today and regret not having it before. Banana and condensed milk are magic, a match made in heaven.
At six, the staff bring out candle lamps for every table, raising the ambience up a cozy notch.
Not the quietest place, but still a perfect spot for crepes, bar none.
Definitely the best Crêpe Café I've ever been too. I like how they have a wide variety of ingredients and that they've managed to take the ordinary into something better. The dessert menu is also something to enjoy due to their large selection of fruits and jams and whatnot. The burgers are a definite must try, the beef patty juicy but not too oily. And I can't even begin to stretch how good their specialty salad is. 👌 Tbh, everything on their menu is so good you'd keep coming back. From the appetiser to the dessert and coffee, I definitely can't get enough.
After Ayala Museum, we decided to have lunch here at Cafe Breton. I ordered the only pasta in their menu; Spaghetti. The staff are nice and attentive. They are still friendly despite the number of customers during lunch. The waiting time is also just okay. We didn't wait too long and too short as well. Their spaghetti for me is good and sweet but I think it should not be priced as it is. The place is also kinda small. Even though they have seats outside, we really sat inside because it was lunch and the weather's too hot. So I think they should expand their place at least. Nevertheless, I still had a good lunch :) No photos because we were so hungry that time that we really need to eat plus we were also running out of time. Lol
deliciously delectable crepes! it's all worth it.. the place has a nice ambience and vibe that is great for hanging out with friends or just even getting that crepe you'd been craving for. they have a variety of crepes and you're even allowed to customize your own. they informed us that their best seller was the la pinay and le magnifique however we tried their blueberry crepe and dè ja vù...and guess what? it was ecstatic. we were really satisfied since it is not so sweet and we did felt sated with what we have.
