Had good time, good food, good drinks and good service at Pablo. I tried mushrooms pasta, great! Next time I'll try the mushrooms paella! And the best was that my girlfriend treated me;) Hey hey!
I love the food and service of the staff. Both are equally wonderful which is why we keep on returning for lunch.
Excellent food and service...one of my favorite restaurants in Manila!
Cozy, excellent customer service and most of all, Yummy food! Luv the lamb chop!
The food is different but with a hint of the familiar. The beef cheeks reminded me of estofado, but it was more than that. There was so much to like. I will definitely be back!
Seafood is amazing. Worth every penny. Service can still be improved..
Love the fine dining experience. the privacy and its excellent service.
Delicious food!! Service impeccable!! Ambiance -warm and cozy!

Drinks are amazing. Food is amazing. And the ambiance is great.
Pablo is a new concept by Cartel. I’ve wanted to check it out so my friend and I went here for our Sunday dinner.
I had their beef cheeks with mashed potato, this one absolutely rich and ridiculously tender. You don’t even need a knife to eat it, it’s great! The flavor was there. The mashed potatoes were kinda too runny and seemed more of creamed potatoes but it’s still good.
We also had their striploin steak and it’s cooked to perfect medium rare. It’s massive and comes with big servings of sides as well. Their potatoes were so yummy!
The manchego cheesecake was AMAZING! It’s not too overwhelmingly sweet nor is it too bland, it’s soo good. A great way to end the meal.
The crew were great too, they’re very attentive and friendly.
Good job guys!
Will definitely come back.
I’ve always hung out at Pablo for the wine and sometimes the tapas but I didn’t realize their new menu boasted of REALLY GOOD FOOD until recently. The Carilleras melted in my mouth like butter (no exaggeration!) and the Roasted Chicken was tender and had a really good flavor in it. Must come back to try more of their food. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Didn’t know how nice Pablo was until I got here. Wasn ‘t expecting it to be trendy or pretty so that was a pleasant surprise. Loved the vibe of the place.
Highlights
1) Sangria c/o Zomato Gold’s 2+2 offer
2) truffle parmesan fries - perfect for kwentuhan pica pica
3) beef salpicao - a pricey yet worthy addition to your meal. Perfect with rice or bread
4) gambad - so much garlic it was amazing. We scooped up the sauce with the bread
A note on their bread: only the first/second round is free you have to order the rest. The bread is good and worth ordering.
Do Not Order: their pizzetas. Not good at all. The only reason I will not give them 5 stars. I could have made this at home.
Chill place. I love the ambience and the drinks. The servers are very friendly and helpful if you don't know what drinks to pick. Wpuld recommend the place if you want to have some drinks and chill out
If you want a quiet place where you and your friends can chit chat, go here. The staffs are very friendly and accommodating. You can request for a refill for their complimentary popcorn.
Spent Friday night date night with the wife here. Not our first choice but there wasn’t anywhere else to go that was near. So we tried and didn’t get disappointed.
The salpicao was so good! The beef was really tender. Went perfectly well with our drinks. Also ordered the truffle fries (really good too), and the three cheese and arugula pizzeta (also very good!).
And of course, the drinks. Loved their amaretto sour and long island iced tea.
Good food. Great service. Friendly staff. Kudos to our Server Gab and to the Manager on duty Macy who made our dining experience worthwhile 😊. If you're looking for a place to chill around Makati I recommend this place. They offer a wide variety of drinks too. 😉

This restaurant is next to my Language schoo, Goethe Institut me and my friends finally decided to dine here on our last day and we enjoyed it. It was for me a bit pricy. Ambiance is great, very relaxing. Their paella was great, a bit pricy though.
Our favourite night out place near our office. I love their Mojito, and their Truffle fries. They give free popcorn too! Staff are attentive but it always takes a while for our orders to come.
Service is great. Ordered an Aperol Spritze and Negroni. Good serving size and prize points. Nice ambience! Get the long table near the bar/entrance so that you'll always be attended to

Very cozy and intimate place! They serve the best sangria in my opinion. Definitely coming back for the ambiance and experience.
Servers are very friendly and accommodating.
The place is super cute and cozy. We ordered sangria which my friend described as "one of the best sangrias" she ever tried while I highly recommend their amarreto sour! I also ordered their praline cake for my friend's birthday salubong, you can put a dedication and request a candle with it. (BTW the cake was reallyyyy goooood) They managed to bring it out on time and we also made them sing Happy birthday twice! 😅😂 We can't wait to go back and try more drinks on their menu!
If you have been following our blog, you might have already read about our EATStaycation EATSperience at The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences. We loved so many things about Picasso and the Salcedo Village neighborhood where it belongs. One of the things that we loved is one of the restaurants that’s housed at the ground floor, Pablo Bistro. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing about Pablo Bistro at The Picasso Serviced Residences. As you may have already read about our previous post, we had our complimentary breakfast at Pablo Bistro, thanks to The Picasso. Just in case you didn’t know yet, we also had dinner their late in the afternoon, during our stay at Picasso. So yes, we were able to try a bunch of their famous tapas and a couple of mains that we would want to tell you more about. Make sure to keep on reading to find out more about Pablo Bistro. Enjoy!
I came here for some bday night cap with two other friends last night. Great service and very attentive staff. I cannot comment much on the food since we came here primarily for drinks. We only ordered three cheese and arugula rocket pizza and cheesecake - both are defo a must try. Drink prices are competitive, at least for scotch and whisky/bourbon shots. Both restaurant and bar areas have artsy modern interiors and ritzy ambiance.
Pablo unexpectedly was a good place to relax and unwind on a Friday night.
Sangria was made just right.
Praline Chocolate slice can serve as the weeks reward! ⭐️
First visit and it was a nice experience. Perfect ambience for a relaxing dinner with friends.
Using our Zomato Gold benefit was definitely a big plus. Got to try more from the menu. Loved the Mushroom Truffle and Parmesan Paella. Everything else are worth trying.
Special thanks to the very accommodating (and patient) staff who replied to all our queries on the Zomato Gold mechanics ☺
Pictures shared:
- Roast Beef Striploin Slices Creamy Mashed Potato Sauteed Vegetables
- Gambas Aioli
- Mushroom Truffle & Parmesan Paella
- Chicken & Chorizo Paella
- Sea Bass Ala Bilbana & Sauteed Potatoes
- US Angus Striploin Steak
Nice small unpretentious place - and that makes it a good place to be at. Landed there on new year day eve and hence could not eat my Zomato gold privilege, but no problem.
It’s part of the Picasso hotel but is pretty much more than a coffee shop it looks like. Small menu with limited selections(mostly Spanish) , but good one.
tried their pazetta - both chorizo and mushroom and. Ham - prefer the mushroom one.
Chicken pallela was nice and so was their truffle pasta, was slightly disappointed by their half chicken - but nice experience overall.
And yes the wine selection was pretty decent - went with a Marlborough and it was great.
Limited selections
This is this year’s discovery. I’ve always passed this restaurant quite frequently in the last 3 years but I only got to try it middle of this year. I’ve been back at least 4 times since.
Their paellas are not as spectacular in my opinion but they give an interesting spin to this Spanish favorite. What has become a favorite is the Fire Grilled Smoked Octopus - tasty and tender, which tells you they do know how to bring out the best in this hard-to-prepare seafood.
For this particular visit, apart from the octopus, I tried one of their paellas (forgot the name but ask for the risotto-like one), Goat Cheese Mixed Greens Caramelized Onions and Confit Onions Salad and the Sea Bass “a la Bilbaina” and sautéed potatoes.
I particularly liked the Sea Bass for its sautéed potatoes and how it paired nicely with the Sea Bass. I’d order this again next time, along with the octopus.
PABLO BISTRO
The exciting part of having zomato gold is the priviledge of having nice lunch shared with your friends in this kind of restaurant.
Tasty treats and savory meals await you.
Ordered:
TRUFFLE MUSHROOM AND OLIVE OIL LINGUINE 4/5
This pasta will surely melt in your mouth. The taste of truffle significantly made the dish awesome. The freshness of the dish made it special though a little bit off on the serving size but it will surely satisfy your palettes.
BAKED EGGPLANT AND GOAT CHEESE PHYLLO POUCH BITES 4/5
You will never know when surprises will come on your table. This eggplant never tasted eggplant at all haha, the flavor of eggplant and goat cheese fused in a phyllo pouch did its wow factor. This is great for vegetarians out there, the taste was so good but I want more.
Will definitely come back for more.
We celebrated our anniversary at Pablo Bistro last September. My boyfriend sent a reservation through the Zomato app. The waiting staffs were accomodating, granted our request to be seated at a more private area for us to celebrate.
We ordered the chicken pesto and mushroom linguine. Both were very tasty!
We also ordered a medium rare steak with a bottle of red wine. 🍷The meat was tender and delicious! 😋
Cozy ambiance, definitely recommended for a romantic dinner.
The overall experience was so nice! 😊

I've always noticed this little nook over at Salcedo Village right under the artsy Picasso hotel but rarely gave it a second glance. During one night out, we gave it a try and I must say--the ambiance is fantastic. Am here usually for drinks so I'm slowly crawling through the food menu (bear with me here), but hope to continue updating this for a more comprehensive review!
Dishes I've tried here, recommendations are marked with a star (🌟):
- Mushroom bacon and cheese pizetta 🌟
- Fire Grilled Smoked Octopus 🌟
- Salpicao
- Amaretto Sour 🌟
P.S. They now serve an appetizer of bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar to start!
Inviting ambience. Great food! I loved the black squid ink paella - perfect level of tanginess from lemon and complexity of that “flavor of the sea”. Chicken was so-so. But do try the chocolate praline cake, worth the calories, trust me
I like the food that we ordered, 2 kinds of pasta, paella, a beef dish and souffle, to name a few. The 3 cheese pasta and arugula pizza was simple but very good.
I love Pablo lunch menu!
Very creative, delicious, reasonably priced food.
Ambiance is good, as is the hotel where they are located.
They also have a nice terrass, but can’t smoke there anymore ..
This is the place where I always spent my alone time. An order of the Creamy Parmesan Gnocchi and a class of iced latte completes my day. I like seating on the outside seat as well, especially during late afternoons and evenings. It makes me feel like I’m out of country, atleast for a few minutes. Great service as well!
We went to Pablo Bistro at The Picasso Residence, Salcedo, Makati for the Stella Artois Asia Draught Masters.
The event organizer greeted us while she handed the registration folder to us. The other guy let us signed online thru his notepad.
The event was attended by several bloggers and mediamen. Demonstration of how the draught master won the recent contest in Thailand was the highlighted part of the event aside from the overflowing Stella Artois and Pica-pica.
We enjoy the music, the show, the food and of course Stella Artois.
#ilovetoeatph 😃❤️
Pablo is one of our favorite places for dinner. The service is excellent and the salmon is great. Jack and I enjoy the bloody marys, also the steaks are good
We had a nice breakfast at Pablo Restaurant during our 3 days 2 nights stay at The Picasso Boutique Serviced Apartment (also known as The Picasso Makati). Here, we had a buffet-style for breads, cold cuts (Sliced hams), cheddar cheese, fruits, cold and hot drinks while sit-down menu for one "main dish" of local and western food choices like Beef Tapa, Corned Beef, Bangus, Bacon & Eggs, Pancakes...and,more! As their rice is a "sticky rice" you will feel full easily and I think among all their breakfast, "Beef Tapa" is a better choice!

Located in the heart of Salcedo Makati is Pablo Bistro, a charming dining destination inspired by European, Mediterra nean, Spanish and International flavors. It opened its doors in December 2014 at the Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences. With its contemporary interiors, elegant lighting, parquet floors, cozy al fresco dining, and premier neighborhood bar, Pablo is just as much a place for a hearty breakfast, as it is for after-work night caps, dinner dates, power lunches and business meetings.
We often have breakfast here and although the selection from the buffet is not as much as the others, it is elegantly enough for us. There were fruits to start, fresh juice, yogurt, cereals, salads, bread you can toast, coffee and tea, and you can select from an array of plated breakfast they serve. My favorite is the sausage patty with baked potato wedges, eggs and bread. My man's favorite is cornedbeef hash with baked potato wedges, eggs and bread. You would also like to try their sardines, beef tapa, and smoked bacon. The ambiance of the store is cozy and sophisticated, perfect for early meetings or just to have a peaceful meal or date. Choice of music is also perfect for creating the mood combined with the elegant interiors inspired of course by the famous pablo picasso. Two thumbs up for this one!
Had some great snacks and cocktails here.
Baked Eggplant & Goat Cheese Phyllo was perfect. Crusty phyllo pastry and flavorful eggplant and cheese inside. Three Cheese & Arugula Pizzetta was outstanding. Great cheese flavor on thin crust dough. Idialzabal Croquettes were good too with lightly smoked cheese.
We imbibed a few cocktails. Pablo Gin Tonic made with France 's best gin - Citadelle - hit the spot excellently. Cable Car with rum, curacao & lemon sour was good. Caipirinha Lemon and Gin Martini were good too. They have a good mixologist.
Freshly baked Chocolate Souffle rounded out our meal perfectly!
I only ordered here their flat white coffee! But I'm giving them 4.0 because they were kind and attentive. The security guard was also asking me if I was alright. I like the ambiance of the place! And they have a really fast wifi 👍🏽
I ended up here in Pablo because Toby's Estate didn't have wifi connection and I really need it to do my school works.
I was recently invited to a wine tasting event hosted by Barcino Corporation at Pablo Bistro in Salcedo Village showcasing Gonzalez Byass Wines. The Spanish product line has come to the Philippine market, and I was among the privileged to few to try it. Pablo Bistro’s Chef Amado Garcia Fernandez whipped us up a spectacular 7-course meal to go with each wine represented that evening.
The food was good, particularly the paella. However, the coffee, despite being from Yardstick was really not worth drinking. Service is a strong suit. Attentive yet efficient.
A very nice tucked in hotel pub and restaurant. It is a small place, but since they are good, this is not a deterrent.
Their service is a tad bit slow, but not something that would irk you.
I have always had my spirits here and they have a decent selection of them.
Never had the opportunity to try their food, so can not tell you how amazing or not so amazing it is.
I have always chosen the inside seating, as the outside seating is right by the road, and given the humidity/ weather not sure if I would be appreciate fresco seating.
Really beautiful ambience from outside and ESP from inside.
The service is really brilliant!!! Like it shout be at a high class restaurant.
The background sound is fine not noisy and the music in the background is peacefully that you can chitchat with your friend or finance nicely.
The food it's yummy too the price are worth it.
Also really nice for a little coffee break stop over.
In jus one word: WORTH IT !!!
Pablo is a fine dining restaurant fit for executive lunches or business meetings. The restaurant is clean, the staff is attentive and the ambiance is calm and quiet. The food has improved since it first opened. There is now more choices. Must try is the mushroom risotto, vegetable lasagna (big serving), lobster roll, seared tuna salad and pork belly. Be prepared to pay around P800 to P1000 per person.
There are restaurants that are no brainer, and Pablo is one of them. I'm coming to Pablo almost on a weekly basis and I'm never disappointed. Wether for a casual lunch, a drink after office or a fine diner, the place is so versatile that it's always a good choice. Sandwiches are great, innovative and made of quality ingredients (usually my pick for lunch), the wine list is original and affordable
and I usually reserve their signature dishes for diner (the Cod, Duck Paella, Mushroom risotto and the Secreto Iberico are among my favorites). I read other reviews about Pablo being expensive, you can lunch here for P450 set menu. Pasta don't exceed P400. So I don't think this is justified at all. Dishes with more expensive ingredients still have a very fair price, and probably cheaper than other restaurants offering similar quality.
Ah yes I almost forgot the chilled tomato soup is a must try to start.
If I was to answer why I don't rate it at 5 after all those positive notes, I would say that the menu could offer more dishes, but Pablo is quite new and I was told new dishes are to come, looking forward to it.
I can't end this review without mentioning the design of the place that and I consider among the best in Manila and the staff which is top notch and naturally knows to make you feel special.
