I recently tried their corned beef bun here, and I was surprised that it didn't taste like the corned beef I always had at home (lol), it was Italian style I think. Anyways, we always order their brownies and cinnamon buns here for takeaway. Always freshly baked. And I would love to try their belgian waffles and beef/tuna turnover soon!
Hickory spare ribs and their cordon bleu is my food choice whenever i visit this place. Not my regular go to restaurant but our choice of grocery is at landmark so we indulged in their food if we are hungry. Im sure u will love their food too.
Was very lucky to find two packets of The Blueberry Pops love them. Not too sweet just right and when you bite into the Blueberries taste heavenly...
Been a patron of the French Baker since we were young. Our go-to used to be the garlic bread, full flavor and excellent everytime. They have been consistent over the years and have been delivering affordable and quality bread.
We weren't really supposed to buy there but when we passed by their store, something caught our eye. It's the Coffee Custard Bun that we can only find at the Landmark Trinoma branch. I couldn't pass the chance 'coz I love this bread so much. We even confirmed with the staff if it's indeed the Coffee Custard Bun and she said it is. We got 2 pieces (I don't like to share it haha) and I happily ate it on our way home. It's freshly baked - the bun was so soft and big and it's full of the coffee custard filling. Definitely my favorite bread from French Baker.
My favorite thing about French baker is that they go on sale near closing. This means you can get super good pastries for less. I love their pita wraps and foccacia. Their Danish is also good.
Nice place to get one of my fave comfort food, soup in a bread bowl. They serve it with a different soup every day. The bread bowl is the best: huge with a flaky, chewy crust. The soup doesn't seep through it even though I tend to let it stand a while. Location can use some work though. Thousands of shoppers pass by and unless it's a morning weekday, it can be unbearably noisy.
I stopped by here the other day in search of some rolls for dinner. I made pulled pork sandwiches with homemade coleslaw and homemade bbq sauce. I couldn't find any smaller rolls so I opted to get the kaiser buns. They were soft sweet and tasty. Toasting them cut open in the oven toaster worked a treat, they got a little crispier on the outside whilst retaining a soft and tender middle - the perfect vehicle for my sandwhich!
I had a few left over so decided to keep them in the fridge and bring them for lunch today. They kept well and the came out as good as when i bought them after toasting. My friends were impressed with the sandwhiches and a hit all around. Good product from the French Baker!
food and service are ok, seat here if you like to see millzions of shoppers walking by,oh and if you want them to see you..
service is ok,you have to order ,pay then seat.. tried the spaghetti bolognese,i found the portion size was small, and i wish they offered blackpepper or extra cheese topping...
