if you are looking for international food fare other than the usual Japanese, Korean or Chinese, you should give yalla yalla a try. Genuine ingredients and while giving you the original taste of middle eastern staples. The beef kabab is a must along with the hummus and pita bread. Bonus points for being environmentally responsible with the use of non-plastic spoons. Parking is the only concern why this does not get 5 stars.
Finally got to try Yalla Yalla. Medyo ang tagal ng serving time. But the wait was worth it because the beef shawarma wrap was really good! Will go here next time pag napadaan and try other food on the menu. Hopefully, the serving time won't take too long again.
Love yalla yalla! Great bold flavors and big serving! Always satisfies my shawarma cravings
We love their shawarma and shawarma rice! Perfect for a quick bite since the place is really small. Have your food to-go if it's too crowded. We also love their garlic sauce!
i liked the concept. only bar tables, no service, very affordable price. i believe they are aiming more on delivery services. its not really the typical dine in place and i believe its attentional- you get a wrap, consume it and leave (no wifi and cosy chairs) I tried the burger with sift drink good value for money
Solid beef & chicken shawarma joint. Their in-house sauces are good too. The grade of meat is higher here, compared with other places. It’s a pretty quirky 1 room design with a hole in the wall to order from. Works well for takeout
One of the participating restaurant of our food crawl last June 27, 2018, supported by Globe myBusiness and Let's Eat Pare. For team UBEst, 2 members of the team will wrap their own chicken or beef shawarma.
Shawarma is just OK!
Yalla Yalla Express is one of Poblacion's gems. I love their beef kebab rice! The kebab is so juicy and flavorful, while the Lebanese rice is so moist (in a beautiful way). One of the best I've had in Manila!
Theirs is probably the best chicken shawarma rice in the metro. My only complaint is that they have a small place and sometimes, I have to wait a bit to get seated.
Great quick and tasty shwarmas and falafel. Hummus was good too and the prices are great for a quick and budget lunch. Orders can take a bit long but at least you know it's fresh to order
Reasonably priced, portioned, and satisfying bites. I always get the falafel wrap and seasoned crispy thin fries—perfect pair as an afternoon snack or a midnight craving. This rating would be a 5/5 if they just didn’t run out of falafel so often.
Poblacion used to be known as the Red Light district, but in recent years there has been a change, it’s now known as a haven for backpackers, travelers, and locals alike. If you’re looking for local restaurants and a vibrant bar scene. It’s the place to go. Right on Don Pedro Street lies Yalla Yalla, a Lebanese On-the-go concept restaurant.
Good enough for the price. Serving is small but the taste is okay. Quick service even during the wee hours of the night. Will go back especially for midnight snack
My friends brought me here at random as they were raving about it. It is a whole-in-the-wall type of place. I went in with high expectations, I ordered the Beef Shawarma Rice. I was impressed. The beef was pure meat, no extenders. The flavor was good, and the Garlic added to the flavor as oppose to masking it like other places do. The rice wasn’t oil and had the right amount of flavor to compliment the beef. The price might be a bit high and there are things they can improve on, but the quality is on point and therefore makes it a must-try!
Very straightforward menu. It's a small joint good for 5-6 pax, their wraps are so meaty and their sauce are the best! I just wished they add more selections for non meat eaters. :)
This is a good find in Poblacion area. Plus it's on Food Panda as well! 😍😍
I like going to this place for a quick, affordable and delicious meal. I usually go for either the Beef Shawarma rice or the Beef Kebab rice. It's all just so yummy! 😍This place gets packed during night too. So I guess you can go here if you're around Poblacion and have late night cravings. 😍
The shawarma is very expensive considering it was pretty plain for its price. The rice meals made up for the disappointment though. The rice is very fluffy, fragrant, and tasty; easily besting every other kebab place i've tried. The meat wasn't dry, but could use a little more flavor. I availed of the food panda service, delivery was quick and packaging was neat.
Ordered a few dishes for delivery via Foodpanda.
Dips - hummus and moutabal- were good ... not as yummy as hummus Elijah though.
2 kinds of wraps - shawarma and falafel - were quite ok and quite filling too.
2 kinds of flatbread - za'atar (with thyme, sesame, orangano and sumac) and Lahm Bi-Ajin (minced beef) - were actually toasted pita bread with a filling inside. Quite tasty. It's quite a stretch to call these 'brick oven pizza' in the menu though!
Get your taste of middle eastern food satisfied here at very reasonable prices.
This is a good kabab place. Their chicken shawarma wrap was very nice and not wanting in fillings. The Manaeesh or Lebanese pizza (Sujuk and Cheese flavor) was the bomb! We enjoyed every slice of it. Their moutabal was quite alright, though maybe a bit more olive oil in it would have been better. Finally, I disapproved of their beef kabab with rice. The meat itself was good but it did not come with basmati rice. For its price (and only 1 skabab stick), basmati rice should have been standard fare. Go on a Sunday when parking is much easier. Seating is only counter-style.
