When in Makati, there are really a lot of restaurants where you can get your tummy filled. Within the malls or even outside them, there are plenty of gastronomic destinations that will surely make you crave for the various cuisines around the globe. Take for example, this stylish and fab café, Nic's, that has a New York vibe, serving a mix of European and Filipino food.

Nic's Makati is like a little black dress -- low-key but stylish. It's something you hold on to for the day when you have nothing to wear. It makes you feel pretty and sophisticated and is a constant reminder of great things that are beautiful.

Indulge in the hip and happening food offerings at the ever-stylish Nic's at Park Terraces, San Lorenzo Makati!

You can never go wrong with their menu as they have fashion-forward favorites like the French Toast Stacks, or the decadent Clam Chowder.

What came as a surprise were their pizza and pastas. I enjoyed the silky Salmon in Tomato Cream, with just the right hint of spice and the gorgeous pink-orange color of the sauce itself. The Shrimp, Mushroom and Anchovy Pizza was also a pleasant eat, even my kids enjoyed it and didn't notice the anchovies! Pizza crust was on point, similar to a flatbread. Very chic!

Don't forget to sample their Baby Back Ribs too as they are tender and tasty! Try this with Truffle Parmesan Fries to seal the deal!

Indulgence is a big word. And what better way to indulge than spending your happy hours here at Nic's Makati! Take note of their ongoing promos!

Happy Hour: Get half off on all cocktails from 3pm-8pm daily.

Sangria
Espanola
Lemon Gin
Tom Collins
Espresso Martini

Perfect Pair: A cup of hot Long Black coffee paired with any Nic's bread of your choice (cinnamon roll, cheese roll, parmesan/cheddar ensaymada) *based on availability.

Coffee Quattro: Order 3 coffee classics and the 4th one is free! Available from 2pm-6pm daily, valid for dine-in or take-out only.

Who talks about indulgence without mentioning Nic's cakes!

My favorite would be their Peach Walnut Torte, a frozen cake made of layers of meringue and walnut with peaches and whipped cream! Really deserves an award as Best Dessert!

Another light fruity favorite was the Strawberries amd Cream, made from airy chiffon and sweet tangy strawberry slices.

Give your meals a sweet ending with their premium cake slices:

Dark Decadent
Chocolate Tower
Oreo Cheesecake
Blueberry Cheesecake
Yema Cake
Dark Turtle Brittle
Dulce de Leche
Sugarfree Javanilla
Salted Caramel
Strawberries and Cream
Peach Walnut Torte

Let's have some cake! 😍🎂❤️

We had a lovely brunch at Nic’s Park Terraces last Saturday. I’m so impressed from service to food to great customer dining experience.

Ambiance ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The first thing that caught my attention is the instagram-worthy chic interiors and the posh, classy wall design that brings a Newyork vibes inside the restaurant.

Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Everything was rich in taste and servings are quite generous. Almost perfect food ! What is remarkable to me is their Salmon in Tomato Cream -- one of the best pasta in my opinion ! The cakes and pastries are well presented and not too sweet.

They also offer cocktails, price starts at P225.00. One of my fave is Lemon Gin. So, if you are looking for a place to hang out then this place is for you !

Literally not a coffee lover but Nic's Cappuccino coffee is great !

Price ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It's not expensive as what I expected. Very affordable !

Staff ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Very accomodating and attentive.

PS: Loyalty Card is also available !

Fashionable and instagram-worthy place that serves mouthwatering food!

Most of us take coffee in the morning to keep our day going. Why not start it with a “Perfect Pair" of NIC'S Long Black coffee plus your choice of bread (Cheese Roll, Cinnamon Roll, Cheddar Ensaymada, or Parmesan Ensaymada) for only P125.

In the afternoon, you can have Coffee Quattro where you can order 3 Coffee Classics and get 1 free with your officemates from 2pm to 6pm. That will surely give you fuel to complete your day at the office.

In the evening, you can chill with your friends and get cocktails or you can start as early as 3pm 'til 8pm to get half off during their Happy Hour.

Don't forget your 📸 and 📱 fully charged and take non-stop photos! You will love it!

You can easily see this restaurant/coffee shop if youre at the entrance of Glorietta 2, high ceiling, cozy and illuminated ,chic and classic hues of white and black with some crimson touches on the table adornments Upon entering the place a large mural of savvy Manhattan is very remarkable, sketch like art features different eras and genre of fashion.I was impressed that they have a portrait of former Hollywood actress turned Princess of Monaco Grace Kelly .

As a music enthusiast I'm dazzled with the playlists and song choices of Nic's which I'm told that the songs are personal favourites and handpicked by the owner herself.Eclectic choices from Louis Armstrong,Sergio Mendes, the Smiths ,Artic Monkeys and Kings of Convenience and the list of awesome artists goes on.So happy that no mainstream music. This place would be great for a simple coffee, meeting with a friend/client, reading a book or even for some afternoon rumination.

Nic's was very generous in letting us try their dishes ,cakes and drinks

***Dishes***

*Truffle parmesan fries - the usual cut of French fries , leveled a notch higher by using parmesan and truffle oil as flavor enhancers . The truffle oil flavor was just right thus making it not to overpowering .

* Clam chowder in a bread bowl- traditional cream base of chowder with clams, potatoes, celery and onions, the soup is hearty and comforting ,the textures and flavors of the components works well.

*French toast stacks - Nic's whole-wheat bread stacked into a wooden flank type arrangement, dipped into their signature mix, lightly tosses in cinnamon and sugar, drizzled with maple syrup, great for breakfast and meryenda and perfectly paired with hot beverages. It reminded me of the game Stacko Uno only this is an edible one .A delight and very filling best eaten upon serving.

*Shrimp salmon salad - smoked salmon, parmesan cheese , Romaine lettuce, shrimp and shitake mushrooms, great starter for any meal, the forceful flavor of the smoked salmon is exceptional and quiet distinct not your everyday salad.

*Quatro formaggio omelette- four different cheeses interfuse with egg
, Mozzarella, parmesan, Edam Cheese ball and cheddar folded into a scrambled egg and served with Nic's whole wheat bread.

*BLT - traditional bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich.

"Smoked milk fish- signature bottled milkfish in tomato and basil, served with brown rice ,fried egg, caramelized onions and tomatoes. The heat on the Bangus was on the mark, synergizes well with the sauce and herbs, great as an all breakfast item.

*Salmon in tomato cream - farfalle pasta in tomato and cream sauce ,topped with smoked salmon, flavors permeated through every pasta piece.Unique , distinct ,savory and creamy .

*Spicy Tuna Pasta -spicy tuna chunks tossed in olive oil, garlic and capers, they uses spaghetti as pasta.I'm not a fan of oil based pasta, but this one delivers ,my spiciness of the protein livens up the dish.Good job on this pasta dish.

*Baby Back ribs, barbecued ribs ,with mashed potato sprinkled with cheese and greens as sides.I like the tenderness of the ribs, fall of the bone goodness, nice touch on the flavor and consistency of the mashed potato.

*Pizza Shrimp , Mushrooms and Anchovies, sauteed mushrooms and shrimps in tangy tomato paste,I liked fruity and tanginess of the sauce, very Sicilian in character, and the toppings are being spread on Nic's beautiful thin pizza crust .

***Cakes/Pastries***

Strawberries and cream
Dark decadent
Chocolate tower
Oreo cheesecake
blueberry cheesecake
Yema cake
Dark turtle brittle
Dulce de leche
Sugarfree javanilla
Salted caramel
Peach Walnut Torte

My top picks for cakes/pastries would be:

1.Strawberries and cream light angel cake surmounted by cream and strawberries, very charming lightness I like the actual strawberry fruits touching the tastebuds .Not too sweet , fabulous.

2.Peach Walnut Torte - structure of merengue ,layered walnut and cream topped with peach wedges. The fruitiness of the peach ,nuttyness of the walnut and the cold properties of the merengue made this a great montage of a dessert.

3.Blueberry Cheese Cake-traditional blueberry cheesecake, what I like about their version is that the sweetness was not overwhelming.

4.Ensaymada both cheddar and Parmesan ,I like it soft and buttery.Award winner on Philippine Daily Inquirer pastry award.

***Name of the drinks***

###Cocktails and coffee###

Nic's also serves a wide array of cocktails for their happy hour from 3pm to 8pm .They also served great tasting coffee variants.

*Coffee,Long Black - nice depth of flavor ,fruity and robust perfect for meal finisher and as accompaniment of dessert.

I cannot review the alcoholic beverages because I'm alcohol intolerant.

Sangria
Espanola
Lenon gin
Tom collins
Espresso martini

All breads/pastries and cakes are made in their commissary, they also supply those products to different coffee shops around metro. They also gift sets and party food packages.

Will I come back to Nic's?the answer is a big Yes,good coffee and food, reasonable price point ,great music and feel ,an alchemy of a coffee shop that is endearing to me.

Thanks to Nic's and thePatkidinside for this wonderful afternoon event.

It's kinda out of way, but we still went and it didn't dissapoint. It's really nice ambiance, and looks expensive (that's why we didn't visit before) but it's not really too expensive. We ordered cocktails and cakes. We liked the cakes, not sweet.

Will definitely be back to try the food, they have pasta and pizzas

If you are looking for fancy ambiance with friendly service and good food, Nic's is a good bet. Just cross the street from Glorietta to the very posh Park Terraces.

Ordered long black, half cobb salad, and tinapa brown rice.

Loved the salad. Different textures and flavors. Their half portion is quite hearty. There was a bit of egg shell, but at least I saw it on the plate, instead of eating it.

The brown rice is filling, but very rich. Could not finish the rice. Can be shared.

Kudos to Loren for being attentive, without being too makulit.

I have yet to try their desserts, but I wouldn't mind coming back.

This is a great place for afternoon coffee with your friends. You can also study here, there are electrical outlets.

I super love the food. Especially the pasta, rice meals, and pizza. Everything taste so simple, unlike other resto that tends to over tweak the taste and then you realize, it's not the taste you are looking anymore. I really like how they stick on how the food should taste like. The ambiance is so cozy too. Plus their paper bags are SO FAB. It has long handles, and you can wear it like a sling bag and it is super convenient to use plus it is super nice to look at.

Finally had the chance to visit Nics!

OMG! Super posh, elegant, stylish ng place! I went over for a snack and tried their Chunky Chicken sandwich. It’s shredded chicken with lettuce and tomatoes on whole wheat ciabatta. It comes also with some parmesan sticks. And it only costs P195.

I really enjoyed the overall experience. I’ll definitely go back and try the other items in their menu.

P.S For take out, got some cinammon, cheese bread and ensaymada

Lovely cafe near Glorietta. Good ambiance and friendly service

I had a Gibger & Lemon hot tea with Traditional Caesar Salad. Salad was excellent with crisp romaine, shaved parmesan, croutons and bacon bits in an authentic Caesar dressing. Followed by Tuna Dill with Swiss Cheese Sandwich. Quite a tasty and satisfying sandwich with boiled egg on whole wheat ciabatta. The happy ending was Peach Walnut Torte!

NIC'S
Park Terraces, San Lorenzo, Makati
Accross Glorieta and near SM Makati

When I had my first glance at this cafe, I was intimidated by the glamorous vibe it offered my senses. I was in awe of the interior design, furnitures and other fashionable items that I saw inside. The natural lighting of the sun also made the place inviting and bright.

Staffs are accommodating and attentive, as well as the owner.

The food:

BREAKFAST PLATTER 4/5
Eggs, bacon, sausage and breads are the perfect breakfast combination. I love bacon and sausage, and I love everything on this plate, could have asked for more serving.

CHARCUTRIEPLATTER 4/5
#jamonserrano , #chistorrasausage #bluecheese, #briecheese, #honey and #baguette

CLAM CHOWDER SOUP 4/5
This could be my comfort food.

SEAFOOD MEDLEY PASTA 5/5
The combination of aldente pasta and the taste of different seafoods just made this dish perfect for me. Not too many taste going on.

SMOKED SALMON CREAM CHEESE BAGEL 4/5
The taste of the salmon and cream cheese is a must have here. I hope that they could use a different kind of bread for this.

CRISPY ADOBO FLAKES MEAL 3/5
The taste was good but I find it too crispy.

MEATY LASAGNA 5/5
This is one of my favorites and kids would probably love this too. Meaty, cheesy and saucy.

SALMON CRUNCH 3/5
I find it a little fishy and not that crunchy, but taste good. Maybe next time I could ask for a lemon to drizzle on this one.

The savory dishes they serve are really awesome and affordable. I would definitely come back for these comfort foods.

They also offer lots of different flavors of cakes which is perfect partner for their coffee variants.

They also have different gifts / pasalubong packages like the BAKED PARMESAN WHEAT CRISPS (which is my favorite), CINNAMON STICKS, their version of bread pan and many more.

They also have cocktails...

So visit now and enjoy the dining experience.

if new york fashion week were to feature food, NICs in Makati is their top model, struttin’ out that fancily fashionable food. this posh café-resto serves more than just desserts rather an elegantly delicious menu that’s surprisingly affords.

their main offerings are a mix of american and british while their breakfast/brunch has a whim to it- as early as now, i am in love w/ their food, delicious and enticing just like the wardrobe that’s featured on the catwalk as food definitely meets fashion here.

the owner, has an inclination to both the fashion and food world; hence, their slogan utterly makes sense. from the ambiance to the plate presentation down to your very 1st bite- wonderful and what’s even more surprising is that the cost in unimaginably affordable (ranging from 125-395 for 1pax).

for their current promotions: (1) solo deals (245php) glass of iced tea, tomato soup and chunky chicken sandwich. (2) table for two (399php) 2 glasses of iced tea; 2 bowls of aglio olio, 1cheese pizza and your choice of dessert. (3) party of four (999php) 4 glasses of iced tea, 1 caesar salad; 2 bowls of seafood medley, 1cheese pizza and two choices of dessert.

let’s get down to what we consumed: clam chowder in a bread bowl- thick, creamy and full of meat, plus that freshly baked bread, ugh, heavenly. charcuterie platter, not much preserved meat goin’ on for it had a mix of cheese w/ it, not gushing over the chorizo here but when the sausage from the breakfast plat came out, that i was head over heels w/ and the beans and the 2 eggs and that bread slice, i feel like im havin’ breakfast in bed! my brain was screamin’ for rice and it was answered when the adobo flakes was served. crispy, dry floss type adobo flakes that were packed w/ flavor against that garlic rice- winner!

the oil based seafood medley pasta too was a surprisingly flavorful as well, it came w/ clams, mussels and shrimps (but i prefer if it packed on a lil heat). the lasagna was superb! nothin said but superb- comes in a hot plate guysh so watch out. the crusted salmon (choose between mashed taters or rice) was nummy and that side salad drenched in vinaigrette dressing was a perf combination! the smoked salmon bagel was okay, didnt leave much remarkableness unlike the wheat crisps that were served along side it- a ton healthier alternative to frites/chips, a must buy when you’re here at NICs. smelling good was thei bleu cheese pizza, a sweet savory and cheesy piece of heaven it was!

to prevent us from choking, we got the cake shakes, literally they blitz the cake slice of your choice and make it into a milk shake- genius! then we got cocktails for one boozy brunch, hehe. mojitos, margaritas and piñcoladas FTW! my fave was the piñacolada because the rum just lingers and it’s one frozen drink, perf for summah!

NICs is well-known for their cakes and we sampled all their 12 treats! amongst the 12 were 4 cakes w/c inquirer’s best dubbed as the best desserts: chocolate tower, dark turtle brittle, brownie walnut cluster and frozen peach walnut torte. i urge you to try ‘em out ‘coz at the first bite, you’ll definitely agree w/ inquirer!

the resto in makati is located near greenbelt2 specifically right in from of the (soon to open) COCO outside entrance or at the ground floor of the Park Terraces condo.

I've been seeing NIC'S in U.P. Town Center before but I never really got the chance to eat there because I thought they only served pastries and coffee. Don't get me wrong, I love both of those things but I'd always been craving for savory food at the time. But now that I've gotten the chance to eat here, I realized I missed out on a lot.

This branch is a bit more glamorous compared to their UPTC branch. It had that New York vibe that calls out for your inner Audrey Hepburn to strike some pose. It's a bit intimidating because their interior would make you think you can't afford the food here but that's where you're wrong.

The price of their food is totally affordable especially since most of the food they serve is for sharing. It would be perfect for a group meal with your family and friends and co-workers!

Here are my definite favorites among ALL the food we had, which were all delicious btw, (they actually do deserve the 5.0 rating which I don't often give out):

Blue Cheese Pizza (Php 345.00): which is perfect for all adventurous foodies. It had honey, blue cheese, and arugula. It was sweet, savory, and crunchy. I love the thin crust because it made the combination of the toppings' taste stand out.

Crispy Adobo Flakes (Php 345.00): which were indeed crispy. I'm not used to dry adobo but when you put some vinegar on this, you'd be able to enjoy it more. It would be needless to say that this order is good for just one person only but the serving would make you full for sure.

Chicken Parmigiana (Php 325.00): my absolute favorite! I love how the chicken wasn't dry on the inside and that the sauce on top wasn't just sour, it was also a bit sweet. The pasta was also flavorful which you don't expect too much from an oil based pasta. I'd be sure to order this again when I come back.

Mozzarella Pesto Panini (Php 195.00): I love that they make their own bread and they also make their own pesto sauce so this sandwich is truly a must try. It'll tell you how great Nic's dishes and pastries are.

NOW, for their desserts and pastries... We had so much that my conscience was telling me to stop eating so much carbs but I can't really hear it that clearly.

I loved them all tbh but I was particularly fond of their Oreo Cheesecake (Php 145.00/slice): which was one of the best I've had in this country. This one deserves to be on the top 10 list of Oreo Cheesecakes in the metro.

Peach Walnut Torte (Php 175.00): which had a melt-in-your-mouth feel. This frozen cake will make sure your taste buds are delighted. It was one of Philippine Daily Inquirer's Best Desserts back in 2014. If that doesn't say much, then I don't know how else to convince you.

Strawberries & Cream (Php 145.00): I also loved this because I found it pleasing that it wasn't too sour which is something expected from strawberry products. It was the perfect combination of sweet and sour and the cream balances it out even more. I would definitely order this again.

Dark Turtle Brittle (Php 145.00): I've always been a sucker for chocolates with brittle nuts. They go so well together.

NIC'S has actually been here for quite a while now but they started out small so people don't know much about them yet but I think it's about time that people hear about them. Their food and pastries are so amazing you wouldn't regret eating here.

Addressing one’s strong food craving is synonymous to sanity. When we withhold a desire to eat a certain dish, getting crazy is just a matter of time. Agree?

Nic’s is your kind of establishment that understands you and me. They put together in one roof most of our familiar favorites. Nic’s houses multiple cuisines from American, European, Asian and even our own local flavors.

On top of their offerings, they made sure customers have maximum comfort and pleasure. You get cozy seats, personalized service, and eye-catching interiors. Their goal is to provide the closest impression to visit-worthy international cafes.

Nicole or Nics provided me and Mia everything we needed to know how their unique concept came about. In the course of our lengthy conversations, I also discovered the family’s sheer interest in the very competitive food industry. For me, the passion for food is too important, a must recipe to able to thrive.

I first got to sip through their cakes! Yes, they have sinfully sweet cake shakes. I liked the Salted Caramel over the Red Velvet variety. These dessert in glass are dense and rich, no shortcuts!

On savory plates, I highly recommend the spicy Gambas Pasta. It has loads of garlic, onions, and chili. If you dig the lingering truffle taste, they have the Truffle Mushroom. Pair this with their best selling line-up of crisp thin crust pizzas, specifically the Shrimp Pesto. Expect more cheese and toppings in every bite!

Looking for a light yet filling main? Salmon Crunch delivers you freshly cooked salmon topped with ground walnuts and their own mixture of bread crumbs. Don’t you just love contrasting textures?

Test Nic’s ability to twist our very own culture with their version of Adobo Flakes. It’s pork and chicken adobo deep fried, seasoned well without the grease. Don’t forget to dip it with pinakurat vinegar.

Since this store’s trademark is a sweet tooth’s dream, we had cakes too! Mia and I shared Strawberries & Cream, Oreo Cheesecake and their piece of heaven on earth, Peach Torte!

Curios as to where this is? You can spot them just right in front of Glorietta 2 and Holiday Inn. The Park Terraces is a new development of Ayala Land Premiere. They also have a branch in the north, at UP Town, just in case you are in that area.

Nic's PH is a chic bake shop/cafe restaurant located at Park Terraces (across Glorietta 2) in Makati. Started as a commissary, and now they're here as a glamorous restaurant offering cakes, milkshakes, Coffee, cocktails, pastries and Filipino-European cuisine. I fell in love with their classy black-and-white posh interior theme & chic, magazine-style wall design. I feel like I';m in one of those fashionable restos in London; a gem in Makati where luxury is in every detail. Of course being a fashionista who loves to eat, I had to try it out! I wonder if their foods are also a treat to my tummy.

After dining in here, Nics PH captured my heart! They serve big servings of foods and their desserts are so dope. I can't wait to go back here and bring my friends.

Nic's PH isn't your ordinary pastry/coffee shop, this is where fashion meets food and taste matters. Affordable, without compromising the taste and style.

NIC'S Park Terraces price is competitive when pitted with other restaurants in the area and considering its location. Despite it, I hope they will continually strive to make all their dishes be very satisfying. We can see that they will go a long way especially that they already have the right ambiance and a classic chic interior. In addition, they also have unique offerings with an extensive menu even if they are still in their soft opening phase.

Overall, we enjoyed our date here as we devoured comforting dishes.

It was my first time to try Nic's and I'm so glad I found this! Though they're at Park Terraces and near Glorietta, and since there are so many restaurants already in Glorietta, they're not that noticeable-- unless you take a sidetrip. Nic's is an emerging brand of savouries and pastries like Mary Grace and Conti's that also have equally great food menu as the two I've stated above.

For the mains, we have tried the Blue Cheese Pizza, Aglio Olio Pasta with Chicken Parmigiana, Sizzling Gambas, Crispy Adobo Flakes with Rice, and French Toast Stacks! I really fell in love with their Blue Cheese Pizza because it's really bursting with flavor and the fact that I love cheese (especially this extraordinary kind of cheese) just made my heart melt. The gambas tasted like Caldereta to me though, and their adobo flakes meal was also good. I liked their aglio olio, very light taste-- great when paired with the breaded chicken of the parmigiana. Their french toasts are 12-15 pcs stacked sticks and are graciously fresh and covered with the right amount of cinnamon goodness! All of this can be shared by 4-5pax! (depending on the appetite)

For the desserts, we have tasted all of their cakes from Premium Cakes, Frozen Cakes up to Cheesecakes. But among those 12, my top 4 cakes are (arranged based on favorites haha) Dark Molten Lava Cake, Oreo Cheesecake, Dark Decadent Cake, and Salted Caramel Cake. They also serve breads such as cheese rolls, ensaymada, cinnamon roll (love it) and parmesan sticks (much love).

For the drinks, I have only tried their hot green tea (La Maison Du The), since my tummy was acting up that time. It was gooooood. But they also serve cocktails and coffees.

I've never been to France but coming here felt like I was in Paris and wants to date myself (lol), but thumbs up for their manager and her staff for being kind, attentive and courteous!

Hoping to come back soon with my friends!

Fashion meets Food at NIC'S! I simply found a new place to spend a quiet time in Makati. The ambiance is relaxing and the foods are tasty! With a huge menu to choose from one can never go out of options on what to try. I'm not a fan of blue cheese but I was easily converted the moment I tried their Blue Cheese Pizza!

What I really love about NIC'S is that the price range of their food is affordable. This restaurant offers quality food for a very reasonable price.

NIC'S is a beautiful, dainty cafe located at the Park Terraces along Palm Drive, infront of the Glorietta Mall entrance. They have this chic, New York aesthetic that is pleasing to diners especially to those who are abreast with fashion. It is so because the owners were once involved in the fashion industry back in the day. Fast forward 2001 and they established NIC'S as a home based bakery and commissary which supplies cakes and pastries to coffee shops. They have since opened small kiosks and a cafe in U.P. Town Center and finally opening a defined space in Makati is another milestone in their long, celebrated history.

One can simply enjoy their cup of coffee and cake while enjoying the view of the adjacent park, or take a breather after shopping inside their cool space. They offer alcoholic beverages for those who wish to have their pre party drinks.

Sampled some of their best sellers: Charcuterie - a small board with a couple of cheeses and cured ham. Best paired with their toast. The Cobb Salad was refreshingly good. Dressing was light but enough to coat each lettuce without being overwhelming. The Chowder Soup was filling because of the snap of the sourdough bread, it had heavy cream which gave it that indulgent taste. This is a great option for merienda.

The Salmon Cream Pasta was creamy and had that tang from the tomatoes. The smoked salmon was soft to the bite and gave it that distinct briny flavor. The Cheese Pizza, I enjoyed very much because of the thin, crisp, almost cracker like texture. It was not enough to hold the heaviness of the cheese but I am not complaining. In fact, I enjoyed the overwhelmingly saltiness of the varied cheeses on the pizza.

For the mains, for something uniquely Filipino try out the Crispy Adobo Flakes which comes with Garlic Fried Rice and a runny fried egg. Must try it with their Pinakurat vinegar which has that strong kick of sour. The adobo is a combination of chicken and pork, so expect a bit of crunch and softness from the different meats. The Milkfish Bistek over Vegetable Brown Rice is another winner. The bangus steak was sizeable but would have appreciated a bit more 'tiyan' or belly for that soft, indulge one expects from bangus. The soy flavor was evident because the fist had enough time to soak in it. The rice was indulgent but knowing it is brown rice gives me a sense of relieve. The Crusted Salmon with mashed potatoes was cooked just right. Just enough to keep it moist and flaky. The creamy mash was a good compliment to the fish.

The drinks, refreshing choice would be the Strawberry Smoothie.

They wouldn't be complete without dessert, so just head on over to their display case for a look. Took home a box of their Chocolate Brownie Crunch Cake and it was just perfect! Great with coffee. Overall, it was a nice afternoon spent with great conversation and equally great food. Recommended.

NIC's is known as a dessert place where you can find a variety of delectable pastries, cakes, frappe/milkshakes to satisfy our sweet tooth. Now, NIC's Park Terraces, Palm Drive branch (currently on their soft opening) features not only desserts and pastries but also new savory dishes and mouthwatering meals.

First of all, the restaurant's design and interiors are fancy and classy. It may seem intimidating at first for first timers so I suggest that they put a big menu outside or at the side of the restaurant so customers will know that what NIC's offer is affordable as well. Service is excellent. Kudos to the staff for being courteous, attentive and helpful. The manager was so nice and very welcoming.

NIC's has a lot to offer. Most of what we tried were my favorites. Actually, almost all we tried there tastes good. I will never forget the taste of:
Blue Cheese Pizza - thin crust pizza topped with Blue Cheese, Mozzarella, Jamon Serrano, Honey, Arugula. That awkward taste of bleu cheese was balanced by the sweet honey. It was crispy, best eaten while it's hot. .

Salmon in Tomato Cream - tomato & cream sauce topped with salmon. It was too creamy and I like how they used Farfalle pasta because usually for pasta with heavy/creamy sauce, they''ll use thick pasta. I like how the salmon tasted good and not fishy.

Crispy Adobo Flakes - chicken and pork stewed in a Spanish marinade of garlic, vinegar, & spices, shredded and fried to a crisp, served with a garlic rice and fried egg. It was a good breakfast food because of the garlic and egg. It's a weird thing that we mixed the egg (yolk) and the fried rice with the adobo flakes, and guess what, it was still good (I usually eat it separate, rice and egg or rice and flakes). It is one of my favorites here.

Oreo Cheesecake - lots of Oreos baked into their cheesecake. Their cheesecake is really made from cheese (not gelatin or what), and I like how firm the cake is. It has the right sweetness (for me).

Clam Chowder - country soup with fresh clams and crispy bacon on top. I can barely taste the clam, but as a whole, this is rich and creamy!!!! I like it.

Also, you should buy and try their Baked Parmesan Wheat Crisps - a single bite isn't enough because you'll crave for more. It was crispy and the flavor can be tasted easily.

Price range is reasonable. Overall experience is excellent. I'll surely go back here and try other meals. Highly recommended.
