I went to this cafe which is very quiet and peaceful.
You xan spend free time without getting disturbed.
It is a small outlet. I ordered half sandwich and pasta.
It was amazing in taste.

Highly recommended.

One of those little places where you can spend some time away from the busy crowd, and no one will bother your lonesome. It’s also a good place if you need to get some work done. Their brownies and coffee are amazing.

I am an avid fan of cafe’s and coffee shops that’s why I gave this coffee shop a try.

Ambience - 5/5
Drinks - 5/5
Wifi - 1/5
Service - 5/5

I really love the place and the outside look. The service is good, the employees are very attentive to the customers. They also have a good selection of coffee, pastries and food on their menu, I tried their affogato since I’m craving for one, I’m so shocked of the size but the taste compensated that one for me because it tastes so good. Their prices are just like any huge cafés out there.
The only let down for me is that I really want to do some works that needs wifi and I can’t connect to it despite them giving me the password.

Final say? I would definitely go back here to try their other menu items and I would bring a pocket wifi next time 😊

Nearest coffee shop to our office that supports local products and events I think

Their facade changes every now and then from glass graffiti to jeepneys signages and witty lines

Got the Salted Caramel Milkshake for P190. It tastes good but I didn't expect it to be just like a frappe, hoping for ice cream or a thick consistency but it was just a blended drink. Not too sweet or strong just like something was missing though.

Service was fast and friendly. Would I come back for it? No, but their coffee is good.

UPDATE: May 19, 2018

:( PLEASE ask your staff to tone down their voices when talking. It ruins the vibe of the place. EXTREMELY noisy. People can't concentrate or get any work done. :(

---

I’ve visited this with my family on a Saturday afternoon, around 2 PM.

FOOD:

😓 Their milk tea selection is a bit too sweet for my liking.

💖 If you’re on a Keto Diet, order their Long Black with whipped cream (+P30) and bring your own sweetener. Hihi. It was so good. I didn’t expect it to taste so good!

SERVICE:

😅 Nice and professional. Nothing out of the ordinary.

AMBIANCE:

💖 I love it. Really really love it. I told A that if ever I’d put up my own cafe, I’d love to benchmark this establishment’s design. :)

Just recently tried this cafe and contented with it.

The place is somewhat off the main street so expect to have plenty of seats available for you. A good room sized and well lighted place as well as relaxing ambiance which is good for those who wants a quiet place to chill. Staffs are very accommodating.

I ordered their unique Potted Plant milk tea which is totally looks like a plant inside your cup which actually just milk tea with crushed cookies and an oregano sitting on top. It also comes with their signature treats put on top of the cup. I say it's just an ordinary milk tea with a unique look. I also have their sandwich and salad meal which served in a good proportion. The salad was rich in flavor while the sandwich is true to it's name that it was overflowed with gooey melted cheese.

They have Wi-fi as well as sockets for your gadgets, they also have this side wherein you can take a quick picture of it or take selfie/groupie as well.

Was looking for a more ‘private’ cafe near Greenbelt and saw this on Zomato so quickly headed for it. I wanted to read my book in peace and wanted a bit of a walk.
The place was quite cozy and the staff were friendly. Got there wat past lunch but good thing they still had tomato soup and classic gooey available. I enjoyed my soup and sandwich - the soup had chunks of tomato and the cheese of the sandwich was so rich and overflowing.
I also got oolong tea and a slice of their dark choco (or was it table) brownie which were a perfect match!
They also had a book corner in the resto. Hope to hang out here again soon when Im in the Makati area.

Stayed here for almost half the day since I was waiting for ASC results next door.

The cafe was well lit and had a chill ambiance, plus they had good taste in music! I think I was tapping my foot to the beat to most of the songs they played (and that says a lot considering I stayed there for hours). The staff was very nice and accommodating. The little notes they had on the wall looked cute and added to the chill vibe of the place. I especially liked that most of the artworks up there had an outer space theme. Place is pretty clean too!

About the food: I ordered the gooey cheese sandwich and daaamn, was it delicious! It was overflowing with cheese and I swear I couldn’t contain my excitement when I had that first bite. Loved it, but there was a slight twang in the cheese that I didn’t really like. They must’ve used different kinds of cheese? Not sure, but I’m totally ordering it again in the future.

I’ve still yet to try their drinks and other munchies, but the food honestly seems so appetizing! Will definitely be back to try out their other dishes.

I was looking for a coffeeshop in Legazpi where I can sit down and do my work.

I stumbled upon this coffeeshop and I was not disappointed.

The interiors look very indie with lights on the wall and books on the shelves (not that it's a bad thing). It felt like I was in a room where I can relax

The great part is that they have free wifi and wall sockets are present for your devices.

I ordered their Tablocha which is not too strong and not too milky. I really liked it. The prices are fair and they have breakfast all day. I highly recommend this place if you wanna sit down and work.

Interior:
I'm very accustomed to the look they use because I've seen it at other cafes including an exhibit.

Potted Plant Milk Tea:
This is Oolong milk tea with crushed cookies & cream all over the top, truly resembling a "potted plant." I would consider buying this again since it's just right. Perhaps the prep time can improve a bit more. Luckily this was my second order so waiting was easy.

Tablea Chocolate Over Ice:
I wish it could be more flavorful. The little biscuit on top adds a nice touch of simplicity. Quantity of ice was just right.

Personal Speed for Globe Internet:
‎Ping 43
Download 7.13 Mbps
Upload 0.64 Mbps

Experience:
I was really relaxed despite the other conversations I could hear around me. I want to bring a hammer and smack the nail under my seat near the wall. I was careless for getting my pants caught twice. Seeing the outlet beside it simply made me happy. I'm likely to return but if I spot that nail again...Hammer Time!

Friday is coffee day for my boyfriend and I so we gave local edition a try. The shop opens at 8am so we waited pa. I ordered salted caramel milkshake but it was not available! I was supeeeer sad because I did not feel like drinking coffee that day. Last time I drank coffee kasi, I felt dizzy because it was too strong! The barista told me I should try azucarado for the reason that it is not bitter daw. I can say that I am satisfied naman!

Food was not pricey but did not super get my attention as well. I loooved the chocolate cake. It was almost like a fudge but it was a cake. Flat white was OK but people I knew tasted better flat whites elsewhere. Still recommended though because I fell in love with the ambiance, chill music, and the overall feel of the place. It was well-lit as well. Thumbs up because the barista was really nice.

Will try their cheesecake next time. 🤘

The first thing I noticed was that the baristas are friendly and they attend to you immediately. They have many drink choices so if you can't decide, ask them which are the bestsellers or if you prefer a certain taste. I opted to stay outside because it was quiet (and I have an interview). They have a good wifi connection as well. Overall, it's a good place for a spontaneous coffee date or when you prefer to be alone for work.

Nothing special, just a regular cappucino but this one has the right amount of foam and just right medium hot temperature, which I prefer. Ayoko ng napapaso ang dila ko 🤗

Gooey Grilled Cheese Sandwich P180
Rating: 🧀🧀🧀

On my first slice excited pa ako, kasi humahaba un melted cheese while I tear the sandwich apart. Pero nun second slice na, mejo na-bore na ako. Pinilit ko na lang ubusin. Mejo busog na rin ako. Pero plus point neto is, it's non greasy. Again nothing special. Hindi ito ang nai-imagine kong grilled cheese sandwich.

The location is not in the main streets of Legaspi Makati kaya mapayapa. When I entered the cafe, solo costumers ang nandon. You can actually work there with your laptop. They have an area for that with electeic plugs where you can charge your gadgets.

Friendly and warm si kuya sa counter. He nicely explained to me about the book exchange. Pwede makipag exchange ng books nyo dito (2nd pic). After a night of partying, I was so hungry and my hangover was really kicking. I decided to eat brunch here. I ordered Grilled cheese (doesn't have a photo) and a latte. The grilled cheese was so good like I feel that it took out my hangover. I really love that grilled cheese that I still try to recreate it until now. The latte was okay, typical latte nothing spectacular. The staff are friendly and the place was so nice and cozy.

I love coffee. I can drink five cups a day and still be a-okay. Fine, I will be giddier than usual and laugh at mundane things but hey, my heart still beats at a normal rate (at times). But aside from salmon sashimi, a good coffee place is my weakness. I get so thrilled whenever I discover a quaint new coffee shop.

Since the Dinner in the Dark will start around… well, dinner time, my favorite Dragon lady and I decided to visit one coffee shop after a quick stop at Lusso. T recommended that we try Local Edition Coffee &Tea and I got curious with it since I saw a few food bloggers post a lot of photos of the coffee with Iced Gem Biscuits. It is kind of a blast from the past seeing that snack. I’m sure the 80’s kids could relate.

A short walk from my office. I really love their Tablocha--which I once pronounced /tahb-lo-cha'/ but they corrected me that it should be /tah-blow-kah/--with a perfect blend of bitterness and sweetness, their version of a cafe mocha.

The place looks very hipster, a nice place to relax and have a heart to heart conversation with a friend. Also try their grilled cheese sandwich or the creamy chicken pesto, good for sharing.

Went here for the creamy pesto which is highly recommended by a friend, and thank God I did cause it really is heavenly! Haven't tried their drinks yet cause we went here around 7-ish and the place closes at 7:30, which is sad but I didn't mind cause I liked the food. Place has a cozy vibe, it's very conducive for just chilling or reading, and speaking of reading they have a stack of books in the corner. Will definitely come back!

Love the vibe of this place. Walls were filled with art and books. It smelled like coffee the moment you get in. Comfortable chairs inside and outdoors. Got the Flat White for a morning kickstart and was not disappointed. I went at 7:30am so I found it oddly peaceful - even though it was Makati on a workday - will try to go in the afternoon next time.

I now understand why everyone loves this cafe. The service was commendable. The staff was very friendly and sensitive to your needs. I had their tablocha which is their version of mocha. The coffee was strong enough and blends well with the cocoa. I also ordered their revel bar which is fresh from the microwave. I really love it! You won't regret it. I forgot what salad my friend bought but it was good. They also ordered red ruby roselle tea which was surprisingly refreshing! My friend ordered another after few hours hahaha. I also had their grilled cheese when I went back (because I went out for a while for my check up). Their grilled cheese is highly recommended. However, their caprese pasta was disappointing. We don't know if it was intended to be served cold but my friend and I didn't like it. We weren't able to finish it. Hence, the 4/5. I'm definitely coming back. Would love to have their revel bar again and try their other drinks and pasta.

Good place for coffee and Salad. Good wifi too. Worth a 4 but I deducted 0.5 cos my table wasn't bussed well; there was water and crumbs from the previous occupant.

Long Black - made with their own sourced Perea blend, this coffee is strong but still easy to drink.

Deviled Egg Salad was very good. Fresh romaine lettuce, paprika and dijonaise dressing. Quite filling too.

This is one of the hidden gems of Makati for a reason that it's not too crowded unlike the other mainstream cafes around. If you're looking for a place to chill or waste some free time then I would gladly recommend this place for you. I had their iced Caramelo and a slice of the revel bar. The drink has this yema syrup at the bottom so you might want to stir it a little bit to avoid being overwhelmed by the sweet and thick texture of yema. Wait, that sounds a bit off. Haha) Basically it's like their own take of the Caramel Macchiato. My friend got this Chocnut drink, (Sorry, I can't remember the name. Their menus really simple. That you can find it under their Special Beverages section. Haha) well if you're a fan of Hany and other choc nut variants then this one's for you. It's a bit sweet for me though. They also have this cute little iced gem on top of every drink that they serve. Haha. I'm a huge fan of Purple Oven's revel bars so I did not waste this chance to try it out! It is indeed yummy. They served me a huge chunk and little did I know, I have finished the entire thing. Hahaha. My friend also got the carrot bar and he liked it cause it's moist and not too sweet (if only the glaze is not part of it daw. Haha) The only downside to this place is the service of the staffs. They got our orders wrong that instead of giving us a large cup for the Chocnut drink, they gave us two regular cups of Caramelo and also a regular cup of the Chocnut drink. We weren't able to ask for a replacement and a refund because we paid for it via credit card. Oh well.. friend ended up having two drinks which I hope did not gave him palpitations. Hahaha.

A decade ago,  when one wants to have a decent cup of coffee,  the choices are limited -  Starbucks or the other coffee shop (that's how limited the choices are and how popular Starbucks is) Now,  you can join the third wave bandwagon, splurge or go Local.

Local Edition is one of the hidden gems along Perea Street.  Strategically located on the right side of the street,  easy to find even for direction impaired individuals.  This is a couple of blocks away from Greenbelt 1.

The shop is small yet it gives the spacious illusion.  White walls and modern furniture.  A small space is dedicated for merchandise, a small nook with books!    #TheBookProjectManila - leave one take one policy.  Genius!

Sorry,  got sidetracked a lil bit.  I got myself a large cup of flat white while my friend opted for a salted caramel milkshake.

Flat White (145),  less creamy,  strong coffee taste - just the way i like it.  I love coffee but my knowledge is very limited.  As per Wiki,  flat white originated from the land down under and is slightly similar to latte and cappuccino.  The protagonist is the coffee and the milk is the supporting character.  Now i understand the flavour.

The milkshake is a lil steep,  195 bucks for a medium sized cup.  My friend enjoyed it as it is not overly sweet.  They also offer sandwiches,  pasta and pastries.  And oh,  I saw the sign for Fog City Creamery at the counter,  forgot to ask the Barista if they sell my favorite ice cream brand.  I guess i have a reason to go back then.

The place exudes the intimate vibe.  One would enjoy meaningful conversations with an old friend,  a significant other,  an imaginary friend, or enjoy a moment of silence while contemplating the vastness of the universe over a cup of coffee.

If you want to venture from the usual crowded cafés in the metro then this is a best place for you.

Let me start with its interior. I like that they opted for an open bar/mini-kitchen, it gives a cozy and homey feel to the place. The white wall with metal panels is a good idea (i might do it in my future projects) and go break the monotony of the white on white there are various travel photographs that you can look at.

For food, I tried their long back (Wednesday blend, which they serve every Wednesdays and Thursdays) and asked for a separate cup of ice because I can't simply decide if I'll go for hot or iced. Oh every coffee comes with a piece of iced gem (talking about bringing childhood memories back). I also manage to try their revel bar which is not to sweet and a perfect pair for my coffee.

This place is definitely a must try and will go back again. Thanks for the recommendation Ives Domopoy

Great place to go when you need to have good coffee and need to accomplish tasks. The place is simple but cozy. The ambiance also adds to the motivation to work as almost everyone in the shop was doing/reading something. Went here with tons of work and was able to finish most of them - thanks to their many sockets and fast free internet connection (you can only connect one gadget at a time though). However, the place is usually teeming with busy people.

Still great ambiance, good coffee and nice service! Will surely be coming back!

Although I prefer the bitter sweet kind of flavor wherein you can still taste the bitterness of cacao haha anyway it's comfy place to chat with your friends it's somewhat hidden coz you still have to walk the inner street of perea coming from dela rosa.. Checked out this little gem and I absolutely loved it! I ordered an espresso while my boyfriend ordered a flat white. The espresso was strong and quite flavorful and the little cookie (or biscuit?) added the perfect touch to the bitterness of the coffee. The flat white was good as well! I love how Local Edition how promotes our local coffee produce. The ambiance was chill and relaxing. If you're a book lover, they have this book exchange program. Taking advantage of our Makati sojourn over a holiday weekend...😄

I wanted to try one of the third wave coffee shops in the area... I was gunning for The Curator or Yardstick, but since we were already in Perea, we just walked towards Local Edition... Makati streets are so quiet during weekends and holidays!😊 Great for leisurely walking around!

Anyway, we entered the cafe with modern interiors... It had a designated smoking area outside, a communal table in the middle of the store, several tables lined up on one side and two bars... I thought the interiors were simple yet hip...

The store was halfway full then, with students catching up with their homework and foreigners busy typing on their laptops... I chose one of their specialty drinks, the azucarado over ice (large at P165)... They do have a nonfat milk option, but I did not prod if they had soy milk available... I browsed at the display of books, while waiting for my coffee...

The azucarado was served with one piece of iced gem on top, which made me smile... A childhood favorite! But I moved the cup and the gem fell to the floor! Sad!😢 But for documentation purposes, I chose to include it in the picture! I didn't eat it, kahit wala pang five minutes!😁😁😁😁😁

This cup of coffee was strong and really good! Bittersweet and smooth! It was a unique taste that I appreciated! But it was so strong that I couldn't finish the cup due to palpitations! I may just go for the regular size or even try the Caramelo next time...

Makati is full of cool places! I'm jelly!😆

This is a little coffee haven for me. I was brought here by my friend to work while having coffee. I ordered capuccino and the taste is just right. The coffee is dominant with the right sweetness. We also ordered something to eat, the gooey grilled cheese (sorry for the low quality photo). It's very chewy and yummy. The cheese has the right balance of saltiness and creaminess. A good pair for the crispy toasted sandwich bread. I was amazed by their handcrafted paper art on the wall. I guess this place is a hideout for artirsts. I can recommended this for studying and doing a little work stuff 'coz it's quiet.

I consider Legaspi Village as a coffee haven. There are a lot of third wave coffee shops around which, in my humble opinion, are better than mainstream ones.

For one, Local Edition is a small coffee place along Perea Street that is peaceful and quiet especially if you are craving for coffee on a Sunday.

They have specialty beverages that are unique coffee blends. One of them is Azucarado. As said, it is their best-seller. However, it wasn't the hot coffee that I wanted on that day. I didn't expect the whip cream on top that made the coffee too sweet! The sweetness overpowered the coffee taste. But I can say that it was a strong cup, with me palpitating a few hours after. (They don't have any decaf coffee by the way.)

They serve small pastries like lemon bars, carrot cakes and banana cakes. Nothing unusual with their tastes. If you aren't that starving, better to skip them.

I love how they incorporated wood in the chairs and tables; they were uniquely styled. The simple interiors make the place clean and relaxing to the eyes. Books and magazines are on the shelves for reading.

Customer service needs improvement though. As my friends and I were trying to decide on where to put our coffee since their to-go cups and ceramic cups (for dine in) are of different size, the barista replied with such sarcastic answers. She was also hard selling much that we cannot pick on our own.

My favorite neighborhood coffee shop :) It's hip, laidback, and just 5 blocks away from my office. :) Ordered the iced latte azucarado and it has now become one of my all-time favorites. Might be a bit too sweet for some but you can always ask the barista to go easy on the sweetened milk. I love everything about this place and I love how it's so relaxed, unassuming and just simply awesome.

One of my well-loved coffeeshop if I want to work on some writings, review for graduate school, or simply catch up with a friend in Makati. If you're the type who avoids crowded coffeeshops, then Local Edition is the one for you. Local Edition true to it's branding, is a neighborhood coffeeshop where you can create and be inspired. You can feel this with the cafe's interior and ambiance where inspiring photos get featured on their walls.

What's good about this cafe is that they also have tea aside from coffee. So you get to choose your own fix and even customize it. My personal favorite is the Earl Grey Tea Latte, this one's best if hot. I also tried their Perea Blend Latte, which makes the blend not too sweet and paired it with the Cheezy Slice which I think needs improvement since it crumbles easily. But again, Local Edition I must say is still my go-to coffeeshop. And oh, their baristas are nice! They even offered me to stay for awhile with them since it was raining cats and dogs on my recent visit.

What I look for in coffee shops is if the place is somewhere I'd spend hours in. Local Edition is one of them. It's only my second time here and already, it's made a home-y impression for me. Although it's pretty small but the place encourages customers to mingle with each other so if there are no tables left, share one!

I ordered tea: Classic Green (Teaspresso-ed) which was sweetened by the baristas. It tasted good! It wasn't too bland like every other green tea there is. Wasn't able to try their savory part of the menu which gives me more reasons to come back! :)

They offer a variety of beverages (mostly coffee) but I chose to have the good 'ol iced non-fat latte. I'm not really a coffee connoisseur so I won't even attempt to describe how it tasted. Basta I left the shop pretty satisfied with everything, including the service.

Local Edition is a simple and neat looking coffee shop along Perea St. in Makati. It is a locally owned coffee shop & takes pride in sourcing 100% of its coffee from local farmers in the Philippines.

I ordered 1 hot non-fat Flat White (regular - Php 135.00). Flat White consists of an espresso shot, steamed milk and a thin layer of microfoam.

It's just simple to order & customize your drink. "Choose your fix, preparation then make it your own".

1. Choose between their 2 coffee blends:

Perea blend - It is described as a classic medium roast with a sweet highlight. It is a mixture of 3 different types of coffee (I can't remember the 3 types though that the barista told me this morning ;( )

Wednesday blend - It is described as a light roast with complex bright flavor.

I chose Perea blend, not because it's the name of the street where it is located (lol) but more of I prefer stronger bodied coffee in terms of flavor.

2. Choose your preparation:

This is the part where you select what type you want, espresso, flat white, cappuccino or long black. I chose flat white because I've heard it was good and the barista said it's actually their best seller.

3. Make it your own.

There are various settings or options which you can select from to customize your drink. Sweetness (they used brown sugar for my drink), hot/cold, nonfat/whole and their option to have a shot of "fresh". "Fresh" consists of mint and pandan. It's the first time I encountered such thing. I wasn't in an adventurous mood this morning so I'll save it for next time!

------------------------------------------------

When I took my first sip, I really had to nod to myself in agreement to its taste. Boy, it did taste like how I would want my cup of coffee.

It was not too sweet (I chose 1 sugar only) but laden with the medium-bold presence of the coffee beans' flavor. Their Perea blend was a winner (well for me at least).

From the friendly service of the baristas to the crisp ambiance. I wasn't

even halfway my cup of coffee when I concluded "Yes, I'd definitely be back".

Tips from Trish: Know what you want, how you want it ....and then you will get it. (In terms of coffee, that is!)

A hole in the wall coffee shop where you can escape from the hustle and bustle of the Makati CBD. I must say what caught my attention besides their amazing coffee was their #TheBookProjectManila where you get a book and leave a book in exchange. I just love ideas like this. This place is also real quiet (not the library-ish quiet); it's the kind of place where you can be alone with your thoughts and just enjoy yourself with your cup of joe.
The price was very reasonable and less expensive compared to other cafés. I recommend their latte! I guess it was my mistake when I asked it to be sweetened because golly it was really sweet. Couldn't even taste the coffee. Haha. Nonetheless, looking forward to coming back to this place!

Local Edition has got to be one of those places that I have wanted to visit ever since last year because it has been highly recommended by some coffee lovers I personally know. The one thing that most people love about this third wave coffee shop is its ambiance because they showcase various local works of creative artists, hence the name ‘Local’ Edition. During my visit earlier this year, Local Edition was still showcasing social enterprise Rags2RichesInc’s Paghahabi. They have these weaved colorful frames on the walls of the coffee place, making the place look brighter and livelier. I did not know what to order out of the choices offered so I asked the staff to give me one of their bests and to ‘surprise me.’ True enough, they gave me an iced coffee and I surprisingly enjoyed every bit of it, for an affordable price! If you’re in the Metro and you want to go to a place where you can appreciate the locality of our products, or if you just simply want a good to-go coffee to keep you company while you work, Local Edition is meant for you.

place is not that big but i really like it here ☺️ it's quiet and relaxing and i love the white-themed interiors. Got to try their cappuccino and latte - iced, blend is just right though both tastes almost exactly the same (to me, at least) but i like how it is not too sweet. Their cookie is good too, soft & yummy ❤️ best time to go here is at 10 or 11am 👍

The place is awesome! Not as big as Starbucks but definitely cozy enough to make you feel at home! I can work here all day.

Probably I just made a bad order of Ginger tea with pandan and a hint of mint (tasted like Tinola. With ice. Or Tahong). But the pastries tasted great and the staff are very courteous and responsive.

I'll be coming back here for a real drink (familiar coffee or tea. no ginger.) and try swapping books with the book project. Great!

The cold brew is strong and lasts. I dolloped some brown sugar over it and the sugar kept me pumped for the rest of the day. There weren't any cookies yesterday, though.

Local Edition has #thebookprojectmanila where you can leave a book/s that you want to part ways with and get one to keep yourself. Don't forget to write something short for the next reader who might pick it up, or you may choose not to write at all. It was on the second drop that I was able to score a new book. I've got a couple more I'd like to leave there. This idea is genius! I wish it just goes on. It's like having an unofficial library. ☺️

This place was very clean and nice ambiance but a bit small space. I tried their Iced Coffee is okay. (Nothing special with their coffee.) And the food is alright.

I'm glad the barista is nice to let them use their nice tables for my friends. Services are good.

I might try other menu's next time.

This time, I rate 4.0 coz its perfect to hang out your friends with nice, decent meeting. Try it.

I was in bad need of caffeine that night, and opted for their Flat White. Served in a paper cup and topped with an iced gem, it was a good blend of espresso and milk. Though I would have prefered for it to be served in a mug (as my friend and I dined there), I guess it doubles as a to-go cup in case one needs to rush someplace else. Also, the barista asked if I wanted this in regular or strong. Of course, I chose the latter. But I like how one could customize his/her coffee.

This Gooey Grilled Cheese Sandwich was a win for me! It wasn’t that gooey to the point that you wouldn’t be able to eat it. It’s the kind of grilled cheese sandwich that I wouldn’t get tired of eating.

At first, I found their Tablea Brownie to be a bit hard. I had a hard time slicing it. I still prefer warm brownies that have this slight crusty layer. This didn’t have that. The plus for me on this was that it wasn’t sweet which was brought about by the chocolate tablea.

I have yet to try their tea and other pastries (I’m eyeing on their chocolate chip cookie) but I’ll definitely be swinging by this neighborhood soon. And yes, I’ll be proudly drinking my chosen cup.

They made me try 'Gin Grey', a tea cocktail. It was pretty interesting. The food was ok. I liked that they have indoor plants. Maybe I'll drop by to try the coffee sometime.

I love the place for it's cozy ambiance which you can hang out in the morning or after office. Coffee is okay.
Might need to try other variants.
I was supposed to try The coffee with Cacao but sadly, they ran out of stock of Cacao. They have hefty serving of sandwiches which is really GOOD!!!❤️????

Whenever I'm in the Makati CBD, I always look forward to those hole in the wall places where I can relax and I escape from the stress that's happening. Yes that's what's Local Edition is for. It's one of those new third wave coffee shops that offers that best local coffee that anyone can ask for. The ambiance of the place is something worth staying for a long periods of time either for work related meetings or just good catch ups with friends. It's good to know that these hole in the wall places are still in the area that offers good food, and well prepared coffee.

They may need a credit card point of sale because you can only pay in cash and suprisingly bit coin as well.

This place is currently making waves among the neighborhood coffee shops at Legaspi a Village in Makati. Sadly, I'm not a big fan of their coffee but their sandwiches are really great. The staff recommends the tuna melt. My favorite, however is the chorizo con huevos. Drop by sometime.

Situated on a quiet street in Legaspi Village, I didn't expect to stumble upon this coffee shop. My friend and I were just looking for a place to chat when suddenly, we saw the famous Local Edition! Just like the typical "hole in the wall", it had a brown-and-white type of interior, and I loved it. It was quite small, which makes it perfect for studying or business meetings. People who are into artisanal coffee and sweets must go here.
