Our family had our Valentine's dinner and food was great for us. We have Roast Beef and pork, which were really tender. Pasta Americana was also good.

Celebrated my sister’s birthday here. It’s our go to restaurant for special occasions. Fave din dito ng lola ko.

For almost 40 years, Dayrit’s Burger and Roastbeef Restaurants have been known for their heart-warming, home cooked meals based on family recipes that have been passed on from generation to generation.

It’s a family place, very cozy, “it feels your eating at home”. This place is always busy in Magallnes but our orders are not late (no long waits)

My personal fave would be there ham porkloin steak and of course their brownie ala mode and apple pie ala mode. Also try their burger and roastbeef.

Good value for money, good service, good food

If you are in Magallanes, make sure to drop by Dayrits.

Food 4; price 5; service 5; ambience 3. Food is good and they are an institution already with their burgers, sausage, corned beef, and roast beef. Servings are huge and great value for money. In fact, for a P250, it can easily server two persons. Try also their halohalo. Service is friendly and attentive. As for the place, it’s simple and functional and clean.

Food for me is not just a means of nourishment, it also serves as a reminder of the past, of our culture of who we ulimately are. It is a piece of history and archaeology tucked inside a pot. My trip to Dayrits not only served a sumptous way of satisfying my hunger but also a nostalgic outing which brought back memories of my not so distant childhood (ahem).

My mom used to buy my favorite pork loin from dayrits for christmas and its only just recently I realized this is the place where she buys it from (Its like finding out santa clause is your next door neighboor). Its appropriatley salted, tender, moist, juicy and slightly smoked just the way I like it. Sandwiched between two buns, its the perfect meal to satisfy the craving of a 12 year old. The roastbeef is also divine, very few things compare to thinly sliced roasted beef, slightly salty with just the right amount of fat intended to create a melt in your mouth event whenever you chew it. Pair it with rice or bread, who cares. Heck, It would go well with card board for all we know.

Its actually the new branch in SM BF. Ordered one of their best-sellers/house specialty "Roastbeef Plate". Aside from a single boo-boo in cooking the beef (w/c they kindly solved), the food is good even their service. Give them a few leeway since they're on their soft-opening.

Back after couple of years, Craving for our all time favorite roastbeef. The Roastbeed tasted the same pretty decent still, I like it without putting too much of gravy. We also had the fresh boiled cornbeef.. Service is fast.

My favorite go-to diner after arriving at the airport since childhood. They also have takeaways packed in microwaveable containers which is convenient if I'm hoarding some of their food.
My reco's: chorizo macao, callos, corned beef.

Dayrit's had been hiding right out at the far end building in Paseo de Magallanes stretch for a while now but we haven't had the chance to try it. It was not as glamorous as it's competitors but it was packed with people. Looking around the space, you'll instantly notice that it has been in that location for a long time already, with not-so-new furniture and fixtures (like your traditional old-school eateries back in the 80s). Even the staff, most were almost hitting the senior (or as hubby would say, "seasoned") bracket, seeming to have been working with the business for a while now. Anyway, we checked their simple menu (old-fashioned as it was, with a laminated piece of colorful paper enlisting what is being served, having the price at its right side) and decided to try the following.

An overwhelming serving of their en-famed roast beef that is tender and flavorful (with just the right touch of saltiness), served with vegetables, a choice of bread or rice and baked potato topped with cheese and bacon bits. It's preparation delivered a juicy meal, enough to smack your lips with appreciation and the right fill. This one is actually good to share with somebody [or can satisfy one super hungry tummy]. Two thumbs up with a good smile from a content customer.

Roast beef with spaghetti served in a (Carabao designed) sizzling plate. It comes with wheat bread smothered with butter, and extra gravy for the roast beef. Again, the roast beef in this dish was as delectable as we encountered of the Roast Beef Plate. The spaghetti, served beside the roast beef, was somewhat underwhelming -- the sauce was a bit sour for my palate, but the cheese was generous. I would have expected a power meal but I think this one is not a straight line for my taste buds.

Overall, since roast beef is their specialty (together with their burgers), I can say that they've got the one of the best roast beef servings you can find in town. I ought to try their burgers next time and more of their Roast Beef variants. Check out their menu below and have that authentic experience! Enjoy.

This has been one of my comfort food joints when I was a kid when they use to have a place in the Alabang town center area. Their Roast Beef and their chorizo macao has that same flavor that reminded me of how good my childhood was. I would definitely be back and how hopefully they would still expand to other branches in certain areas.

I just discovered my newest comfort food place (that isn’t Jollibee) courtesy of my dad! We were driving to the south for a round of golf and stopped for lunch at Paseo de Magallanes along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX). He gave me a choice of Pancake House (basically our local IHOP) or Dayrit’s. I picked the later because Lord knows I spent too much time at Pancake House during high school.

Dadness explained that there used to be a Dayrit’s near the high schools he, my brother, and I went to and that he and his friends would hang out there because Jollibee had yet to exist. *cue nostalgic daddy music* Dadness and I each proceed to order a sago’t gulaman as a drink but it came in a pretty big ice cream dish so it was kinda like an appetizer. Or a dessert that we ate first. Dessert, yes. We like tapioca and grass jelly (basically any jelly or gummy thing really) a lot so it was a welcome treat for the impending humidity we were gonna feel later on the golf course.

Dayrit’s specializes in burgers and roast beef so I zoomed in on the chili cheeseburger. It was a glorious burger and to be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of burgers. It was bun, cheese, chili, patty, cheese, bun. I didn’t expect the double cheese but I wasn’t gonna complain and neither was my stomach at that point. It definitely hit the spot and as much as I love Jollibee, its burger cannot compare. The order for a burger was literally just the burger. I almost put condiments on it but had second thought because why ruin a good chili? I should’ve ordered a side of fries to go with it. Next time!

My dad got the corned beef which I thought was going to be the canned Purefoods stuff. Nope. It was a legit slice of corned beef and it came with potato, carrots, cabbage, and some broth. I had slight regrets not ordering it but he let me try some because I’m his favorite daughter. I’m also his only daughter so he has no choice but to love me. The taste was the right amount of briny, not too overpowering and the vegetables were boiled just right. Not too mushy that you’d think you’re eating baby food. Oh, and it comes with either rice or bread. Definitely ordering this when I come back!

I’m for sure coming back here even though it’s a little out of the way from my usual hang out places since it reeks of nostalgia and memories. Dayrit’s reminds me of the 90’s (because that’s as far as I can remember), a time when things were simpler and little things made you happy. At Dayrit’s things may seem simple but they definitely do it right.

Dayrits at Magallanes - I've always been fond of Dayrits ever since the first time I step foot inside their Magallanes establishment. Being a true-blue Bacolodnon, Dayrits reminds me of Bob's. The place is homey, inviting, casual. I admit I haven't tried all the things on their menu. Their self-acclaimed "the best" roast beef is not one to be messed with because this boast is well-founded. They have really, really good roast beef. And the gravy, oh, the gravy, don't get me started on the gravy. I could lather that thing on everything: roast beef, rice, potatoes, side veggies and come up for air every 5 seconds only to dive in again. So maybe I haven't ventured so far into their menu as to try everything on it but what I have tried so far only reinforces the fact that food in Dayrits is so close to what food in my beloved hometown tastes like that it could have been magically transported overnight from my province right smack in the middle of the metro and still make you feel like it's ok to step inside in just shorts and shirt and still receive good food (no stereotyping meant by that little run-on statement). I have come back again and again to Dayrits and each time I am amazed by the consistency. Because, well, we all know consistency matters in restaurants as well as service. As for service, it leaves much to be desired and I'm sure Dayrits can work on tweaking that up a notch or two. Still, the food! Man, oh man.

Best roast beef since forever! I remember my dad would always bring us here a lot when my siblings and I were still young. I also love their Callos. Today I got to try their Banana Cake, it was super moist. I just wish they renovate or make the ambiance better. At least better lighting. Service would be better too!

The best roast beef in town. I never end every trip to Paseo De Magallanes without having the leche flan as a way to end the whole Dayrit's experience.

I have been here twice and actually, it was always with the same client. This is his favourite and since we were coming up always from SLEX, he would often suggest this place as our lunch destination.

From the couple of times that I have been here, I would definitely recommend their roast beef plate. It is my favourite from this resto. (Actually, I have not tried anything else but this...:)..) The beef is moist and comes with gravy poured over it. The gravy is not overpowering the taste of the beef. As the beef has been obviously marinated to give it a lot of taste by itself. The portion size is fair to the price.

The interior is fair, it is decent enough for you to bring your friends or clients.

It is one of those restaurants where you really would come for the food and nothing else more. That is enough for me to be back for more roast beef.....

My father introduced Dayrit’s to me and I tried their best seller which was the roast beef. I tried it and I was amazed at the great job the cooks did to make the beef as tender and tasty as it can be. I was surprised that this restaurant was also founded locally. Who wouldn’t love a locally made restaurant serving locally made meat? Their macau is tasty as well which is perfect for food at home.

Dayrits is another classic restaurant that my family and I frequent for Sunday lunch. We have been going to this branch in Magallanes for a handful of years now. I am not sure how my mother discovered it, but it was probably from buying their frozen meats - our favorite being their delicious Macau.

We dined here last Sunday and what came as a pleasant surprise to us was that for the first time ever, we were actually on a wait list. (Which we did not mind because that means the restaurant is doing well.) It was a short wait considering we arrived when several tables were finishing up.

I have noticed that appearance-wise, it has not changed much over time aside from a few upgrades here and there. It still has a very simple and casual family-dining vibe. The lighting could use some work in certain spots of the restaurant, but nothing complain-worthy.

My entire family opted to go with our usual order - the roastbeef plate. All our food arrived in just under 15 minutes and was nice and warm. For just P320, you get a large plate piled with sliced up roastbeef, refillable mushroom gravy, a side of buttered vegetables, a baked potato, a cup of rice and a complimentary bowl of (refillable) house broth. For the amount of meat you get, I would say that it is a great deal. The mushroom gravy perfectly compliments the flavor of the roast beef.

I also ordered the special iced tea, which is their house brew. It comes in a tall glass and is actually quite concentrated a.k.a sweet! So note that you can actually order one, split it into two glasses and just add more water to get two glasses of the perfect mix of iced tea - all for the price of one. Haha.

My only complaint about our most recent experience there has nothing to do with the actual establishment though, but rather with the people that were sitting in the table next to us. They had already finished eating and were unnecessarily loud, with one woman in particular having a rather ear-piercing-like voice and cackle. My mother even commented that it felt like we were in a "palengke" / market place.

The other patrons in the establishment were clearly as put off as we were. Their noise stressed us out so much that we could not fully enjoy our meal - it was taking everything in us to stop ourselves from going over to tell them off.  I understand that this was in no way managements fault, of course. It was simply bad timing for us to be eating there at that time, right next to that obnoxious group of humans.

Aside from that incident though, I have never had a bad experience eating at this Dayrits Magallanes branch so I am giving it an over-all rating of 4.0 and would definitely recommend that steal deal of a roastbeef plate to others.

My husband bought take out from this place while waiting for me as I attended a party in the area. The burger tastes like Tropical Hut burger (which is not necessarily bad). They had good callos and the nilaga was just okay. I guess if you are looking for comfort food, this would be a good place to go.

One of my nostalgic favorites!

Me and my sister grew up eating here and this is the place that taught me that corned beef doesn't have to come from a can.

Served exactly like a New England boiled dinner their corn beef is served with cabbage and root vegetables. My favorite during the rainy season. One of the most comforting dishes I've ever had.

The roast beef is really good too

The place really needs vamping but if we're just talking food then Dayrit's gets high marks for me.
