Sharing my dinner experience in Fatfook Robinsons Galleria last night with my lovely wife.
Service was fast ,,food are very delicious and special mention to the manager in charge Ms.Catherine for managing a busy crowd and answering all our inquiries about food Restauranr is clean despite of too many people.
Two thumbs up!!
The food was flavourful and cooked the way l wanted it and expected it to be. The price points were reasonable too. The service was quick, efficient, and polite, contrary to what others experienced. They anticipated their customers' needs , was knowledgeable about the menu and gave accurate, honest advise on portions. The ambience was warm, friendly, relaxing, and interiors well thought of and instagramable. Very good experience and walked out of restaurant satisfied and happy! Will go back soon and give fat fook nice words!
Excellent food and service #smnorthedsa. First time to dine and tried out the group meal and everything that was served was a hit
Authentic Taiwanese dishes at its best! From quality of food to the customer service you did not dissapoint. Definitely we will be coming back! Thank you! :)
Food is good. Ambience okay naman. Staff super hospitable. Misplace my licensed inside ng resto, super thankyou kay mr.bryan na crew and manager on duty na si Ms.Anna ata name nia. Goodjob fatfook Galleria will surely dine again
the best xiao long bao in the philippines...authentic..... may sabaw tlaga sa loob ......pag walang sabaw pwede daw i sauli papalitan nila....
Enjoyed their food. They would have been yummier if they were served immediately. 2nd time eating at their restaurant in Makati, and in both instances, their service was really slow.
Great service and ambiance, this Taiwanese restaurant serves good Taiwanese food and drinks especially their Classic Milk Tea. I would recommend getting their Egg Fried Rice, Garlic Fried Chicken and Garlic Pork Ribs. Their egg fried rice is not too oily nor too dry, and makes a filling meal. For anyone dropping a visit, I would definitely recommend their classic milk tea because it really does live up to its name!
1) Stinky tofu - We really didn't like the stinky tofu but to be fair, I have yet to taste a good stinky tofu here in the Philippines. So far none are good. :( Taiwan's stinky tofu is not compact like this one and it's stink is not the same hahaha. You can really smell the stink from whence you cut it. So after 1 bite, we asked the waiter to pack it up for take home so we could continue with our dinner. My dad could eat these but also said it's not yummy as it's in HK or TW.
2) Beans - homemade goodness! A tad oily but really good!
3) Xiao long bao - we ordered 2 types (Salted egg and the regular one). Both were good! The regular one is better for me :) It hasn't reached the tier of my favorite xiao long bao, but this is above average. :) 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 my dad's favorite so far.
4) fried rice - forgot what kind but it was really good. It was served in a small chinese(?) skillet. Really good presentation and taste and texture. :)
5) tendons - really, really good ♥ It still had some crunch to it and I also liked how they put some spice in. Really kicked up the dish 👌
6) Pata tim (?) with steamed buns - really yummy as well. Pork was perfectly cooked. Look how it glistens. Its portion is small in my opinion but nevertheless good 👍
Service crew were busy (it was packed) but I appreciate how they handled ours. Few requests were forgotten but when we followed up, they apologized and really accommodated us. Kudos!
Loved the food and place; just a bit cramped. But overall 👍👍👍
I just found out today that Fat Fook Kitchen is a local concept. It blew me away that this was an idea made entirely from the Philippines. Everything about this place, from food to its interiors, felt and looked so overseas.
Anyway, the food on this visit was superb as usual. I got the savory Beef Tendon Hotpot to pair with their simple yet delicious, Vegetable Fried Rice. This combo is very satisfying! Go ahead and have it too.
Another dish I recommend would be Fat Fook’s gelatinous Oyster Omelette. If you find it gooey with hints of spice, that’s really how it is. This is a famous street food delicacy in Taiwan.
If you need healthy stuff, the Spinach with Three Kinds of Eggs should do you right. It has century egg, salted duck egg and fresh chicken egg all in one bowl!
Great work to Ramen Nagi group for this creative idea. I look forward to more unique restaurants.
Tried Fat Fook Glorietta via a delivery service and ordered Stay Stir Fried Beef Noodles, Spicy Wanton, Wintermelon MilkTea, Roasted Hazelnut MilkTea with Pearls and Pudding and Dark Chocolate MilkTea with Nata de coco.
The Stir Fried noodles is so filling it can accomodate 3 to 5 persons. I like the spicy wanton as it's just with the right amount of spicyness. Also tried the best seller milktea which is the dark chicolate and it didn't dissapoint. The roasted hazelnut is quite sweet thought at 100%. The serving of the milktea is huge and can be compared to a dipper.
We came for the xiaolongbao but stayed because of everything else 🤣 The xiaolongbao was okay but I’d rather get it at either Shi Lin or Din Tai Fung which is just a walk away. What we loved from everything we ordered was actually the veggie dumpling! It’s not completely vegetables but it does have a sizable amount of it (which is good enough to make us feel a lil healthier). The rice was pretty nice too! It was a good balance to the really flavorful sweet & sour pork. We’ll definitely come back for the good food and great service! :)
I feel like I was taken back to Taiwan after tasting some of their food. Their menu was quite extensive and I couldn't choose which to order since so many dishes I miss and wanted to try. They usually have long queues and waiting time could take forever but it's really worth it.
Taiwanese cuisine offers vasts of flavors, and tickles to one's taste buds. *awkwardly thinks of what to say next*
We ordered XLB, fried pork intestines, intestine misua and Ma Po tofu. XLB had generous stuffing but few pieces were already dry that we didn't get to devour the soup from it. Tbh, I was hoping for more of the umami taste. Fried intestines were good and not bland, but not as crispy as I've expected it to be (bec it's deep fried so I expected more of the crisp).
My favorites among our orders were the intestine misua and Ma Po tofu. Both were well seasoned and tasted like a warm hug. (What?? But ya get it, it's so comforting that it tasted like a WARM HUG HAHA) Going back, Misua had generous servings of pork intestine and the noodles were firm. The tofu wasn't mushy and had good servings of minced pork.
XLB & Fried Intestines - 3/5
Misua & Ma Po Tofu - 5/5
Ambience & Staff - 4/5
Will I come back? Prolly to try out other dishes and to get good servings of the misua and mapo tofu :) hope you have a great time here haha
I loved their Taiwan fried rice very flavourful. Bagay to pair it with the chicken chops na very tender 😊 The xiao long bao is okay for me hehe. Overall, sarap ng food nila. Big serving and the price is just right.
We ordered pork XLB, black pepper beef, three cups chicken, and fried rice - and loved everything! Price point is around 1500pesos for 2 people, medyo pricey but worth it especially if you’re looking for legit Taiwanese cuisine.
Usually not too fond of this place but today's lunch was really nice. Had the original beef noodles, the texture was great and the soup had a lot more favor this time. Still, the service could improve slightly but overall good place to eat.
I have always loved Taiwan cuisine that every time I visit the country, I always go on a food trip. Now, you don't have to go there to enjoy Taiwanese food. Fat Fook Kitchen serves authentic Taiwanese dishes. Located at Glorietta 1, Fat Fook Kitchen is the first restaurant that I have tried that serves authentic Taiwanese food. If you want to try Taiwanese food and a taste of home-cooked Chinese meal then this restaurant is for you.
I remember having a bad first experience of this place. we waited in que for over an hour and the service was incredibly slow. The food was also quite underwhelming. But visiting a couple of days ago, everything was the exact opposite from my first visit. The service was incredibly fast, the staff were also very friendly and accommodating. The food.... excellent. Will definitely go back here.
Missing Taiwan? Visit Fat Fook! Authentic taste of Taiwan's must eats. Serving is a little bit slow and will took you hours of waiting but it's worth the wait. Loved the stinky tofu and their milk tea!
Salt and Pepper Chicken cubes are amazing very tender and generously seasoned! Rice was not bad but the fried rice was a bit too much paired with the chicken next time I'll pair it with just plain rice to really highlight the flavour of the chicken. Noodles were good, they had a good chew and flavour however I expected a smokey wok flavour - I didn't find it :( As for the service, it was inconsistent felt like they were understaffed there three empty tables inside and a growing line outside, took too long to sit down and took too long to get our bill however the food service was amazing they need to find a balance. Overall experience was pretty good will definitely come back for the chicken
Staff is nice and attentive.
Beef noodles are mildly spicy, has nice udon-like noodles.
Xio Long Bao was good, didn't burst upon picking up.
Milkrea was also good.
Shouout to sir Rico for noticing my IEMs and Excellent service.
My tasteful adventure had a good start with Fat Fook’s Classic Milktea. This was actually my second milktea that day because I love milktea that much. Food was great too👌
LONG QUEUE!!! But my husband is tempted to try their stinky tofu. He said it’s really delicious. It’s personal preference though. Haha.. I love their pot sticker and chicken chop. BOBA IS A MUST TRY!
Milktea and hongkong street foods combine together! Not only that they offer main courses very reasonable price and taste really good. The servings was big enough for sharing. Need to improve their service it took so long to order.
Their Pork Xiao Long Bao was pretty ok, clean tasting and nice dough. What we love more were the Taiwan Style Fried Rice with loads of toppings you can eat it as it is, the Taiwan Style Noodles which were very tasty and seasoned well, the Fried intestines and Salt and Pepper Squid were crunchy and perfect appetizers though quite salty. Their milk tea was simple yet washes away all those richness and saltiness we have eaten. Service was quick and staff are courteous and efficient.
I got a taiwanese treat here. I ordered stinky tofu which is not really that stinky as I thought will be. The tofu was deep fried and mixed with the soy sauce and coriander. I also ordered the crispy chicken skin. Very good. It mixed with 5 chinese spices.
The place was nice, it was spacious and has a nice ambience. The staff was polite and courteous. The food was served hot and quite fast too. The taste of the food for me was quite okay, but it's not something I would rave about, maybe if I tried their other dishes I would change my review.
Taiwanese cuisine has many variations, and just like what we enjoy with Pinoy food, it also got its flavorful taste from the influences of different Asian countries like China and Japan. What’s more interesting about Asian cuisine? The distinctive and mouth-watering taste of Asian spices. Not craving yet? Well, aside from Savor Restaurant and Skewered from different parts of Asia, today, I am glad to share that I fell hard in love once again with Asian cuisine. All thanks to Fat Fook Kitchen. (P.S. I fall in love with food every single day, tbh. Lol.)
This place is often full, even if you try to eat there are 3pm. Originally planned to order food to go, but the manager was able to find a table for us. Space is cramped, which can turn off some people. Best if you are solo, or a very small group.
Loved the fried squid. Not too salty, and it wasn't rubbery.
Xiao Long Bao is recommended. Best eaten right after serving.
Satay Stir Fried Beef Noodles is a must try. Big portions, great for sharing. For two people, you might have to take it home.
Hot and Sour Soup - It wasn't bad, but had better elsewhere.
Great selection of food in fatfook. Just refer to my pictures for the options but all has great taste. They also have milk tea that will surely awaken your tastebuds... definitely worth coming back and waiting in line.
Our ordered:
- Satay fried noodle (5/5)
- Breaded Chicken and Noodle set (4/5)
- Fried Sweet potato (3/5)
- Fried mushroom (4/5)
- Milk tea (3/5)
- Taho dessert (3/5)
Overall the taste is almost ‘taiwanese’ taste, the price is quite worth because the portion is big enough for 1 person, it count for 2 person.
Everytime I passed by this place, always queues, so when I tried, I also should queue for 15min.
Service and ambiance is good.
I love their moist Cua pao, pork belly was tender and flavored right. Xiao long bao and beef noodle soup were all good. Skip the crispy fried pork or chicken, breading was heavy and bit salty. Service is confusing, no assigned server per area. Not a Gold partner resto. :(
We were craving for some asian food around glorietta and we found this taiwanese restaurant. We tried our luck and no regrets! Definitely one of the taiwanese food places that we liked! We dig their 3 kinds of chicken and my all time favorite fried isaw!! 🤗
When we drop Glorietta, line for Fat Fook kitchen would always be long and sometimes would take several seats. Good thing yesterday, we were 4th to be seated. We really wanted to try it and we weren’t disappointed. My favorite is their Fried Rice - I think because of the sausage, even with the cold I am experiencing, I can still taste it in my palette. Unfortunately, I accidentally ate the red chili pepper which messed up my taste buds. I ordered the strawberry milk tea with pearls and it was good too. We will definitely come back and try the other dishes. :-)
I was a bit curious with this Taiwanese food joint tempting me when I was doing my usual malling. Finally I was able to convince my girlfriend to accompany me to experience their menu items.
We ordered the Taiwanese Beef Noodles and some Salted Egg Xiao Long Bao. This was the first time to experience XLB because I never "gave in" to the wave of people raving about it in in years past.
Being served the Beef noodles without any prompt from the staff that there was an instruction card was a bit of a let down. We wondered why the noodle bowl was deconstructed (noodles separate from the beef). Eventually we figured that you have a choice of mixing the amount of Beef sauce to mix with your noodles. I thoroughly enjoyed the coupled flavor as well as how well cooked the beef was. It was tender-rific!
The Xiao long Bao experience was amusing and yummy. The salted egg was just subtle enough to make its presence felt on your taste buds. Thanks to my significant other who instructed me on how to eat one. Haha!
This spontaneous visit to Fat Fook was a success and we really enjoyed our experience. The price was friendly to most diners too. We're looking forward to more yummy memories with their other menu items.
This eating season’s definitely making me miss the dishes of Taiwan. It’s simply eating heaven for me! What with all those night markets that’s just not a feast for one’s shopping eyes but for the tummies too. It might take awhile before I visit that land again. So for now, the dishes from Fat Fook Kitchen will do.
I’ve been interested to try this newly opened Asian restaurant in Glorietta because they food looks so appetizing. Fat Fook Kitchen is a Taiwanese resto that offers variety of dishes from appetizers to main course and dessert. My officemates and I tried several dishes including salt & pepper chicken cubes, Pork Xiao Long Bao, Taiwanese Style Fried Rice, Vegetable Rice, fried pork chop, three cups chicken, salted egg spring beans, and Taiwan Pechay with Garlic. I enjoyed that there are several options for the veggies. I actually like the vegetable rice than the Taiwanese style fried rice. Xiao Long Bao was also good. Since we spent more than 1500 and one of our colleague has birthday for this month, we got a complimentary Satay stir fried beef noodles.
So finally tried this branch in Glorietta
Had my first try of Fat Fook in their SM Mega branch some moons back.
I still remembered the tofu with century eggs we ordered there plus the unforgettable stinky tofu (see my previous blog in pigoutsundays.blogspot.com)

Excellent service by Shiela at the reception area. The food was satisfyingly good. The fried rice was tasty and filling, the eggplant vegetable (though a bit salty) matched well our chicken cubes while we downed all these with a classic milk tea with tapioca pearls. The place was cozy too. Recommended! Next time we’ll try their Xiao Long Bao and Noodle dishes.
Amazing Taiwanese dishes served hot for lunch. The noodle dish was exquisite in terms of taste and the spices that went to it. The chicken and mushroom pot dish was also delicious. Huge mushrooms were a plus. My craving for Taiwanese dishes were definitely met highly by FatFook.
The interiors are nice and interesting. Food is good too, I think their dishes are inspired by Taiwanese street food which is something I personally enjoyed. Ambience is nice, food choices are pretty humble but delicious nonetheless.

We super like their Milk tea.. We ordered classic, butterscotch and wintermelon milk tea. 👍
Their mala arinola na lalagyan ng spoon and fork is kinda off sa design and ambiance nila.. But that's just a little detail to change for us.
Overall, my friends and I had a good tummy.. Busog na busog. 👍👍
U need to be early as well.. Kc waiting lagi.
So, I was a first time diner here at Fat Fook. My friend suggested we eat there for lunch. We went to the Glorietta branch as it was the nearest to us. Let me start by saying how pleasantly surprised I was that the wait time wasn't long for a table of 3. Within 10 minutes of having our name listed down, we were accomodated and had a table ready for us.
We ordered:
8 Pieces of Pork Xiao Long Bao
Three Cups Chicken
Mama O's Patatim
Taiwanese Style Fried Rice
The food all arrived at the same time, it was delicious and the serving wasn't too big or too small. Shared between three people, we still had some left over rice. The dumplings were excellent and not super hot when served (I would know, I normally burn my tongue eating XLB's) The rice was tasty, I kept getting more as it paired perfectly with the chicken dish. The chicken wasn't dry, and tasted delicious as well, if you can get passed the bones of course. And the Patatim worked perfectly with the cuapao buns it came with (not pictured)
Overall, I was impressed, even the pricing was alright. My friends spent about 400/head and we were pretty full! I had no more room to try their milk tea, which people also seem to rave about!
And on that note, I do wish they had a branch more south. Great food, quick service, leaves you wanting more.
Reasonably priced good food, but long queues.
On a normal day, I wouldn’t really queue for an hour. However, I’ve been walking in the mall for several hours, so might as well make myself useful while am sitting.
Took me an hour before we were seated. We haven’t fully digested our lunch, thus, we just ordered light dishes - a bowl of Taiwanese beef noodles, 2 orders of xiao long bao, breaded chicken meal, beans with minced beef and soup.
Setting aside the waiting time, their service is prompt and their staff is very attentive. Food was very tasty and I liked it! My mom and my siblings were happy with the food too.
Overall, it was a good experience :) Will be back to try the other dishes.
After hearing about Fat Fook opening a branch in Glorietta, me and my friends just had to go because as we heard, their Xiao Long Bao is superb. You know what, they are so right! We ordered the original and salted egg xiao long bao and we were shookt! The meat is just of the right amount for you to enjoy the soup inside. Both are very flavourful and addicting.
We also ordered their fried rice (i forgot the name of it) and fried intestines. Surprisingly, they suit each other and not as boring as we thought it would be.
The best part, though, is their Matcha Milk Tea! It’s probably one of the best matcha milk tea we have ever tried! Hindi tinipid sa matcha powder and it’s not too sweet too!
Will I come back? Absolutely!
Oath to self: the restaurant that I’ll only go to eat a proper, massive meal everytime I’ll visit Glorietta bc this is the best Taiwanese eatery there is. Approval-nodding all the way everytime I took a bite of all the foods we ordered. INSANELY GOOD!
Service might be really slow (they’ll tell you to wait 15-20min after ordering and if you’re unlucky enough due to busyness you’ll be served after 30-40min) but I’ll still give the restaurant a 5/5 as preparing & cooking of food should not be rushed for it to taste phenomenal.
Tried Fat Fook in Glorietta last payday Friday. Hmmm, it's not bad but I think it was kinda overhyped. Sorry for those who loved it. My friends and I shared sweet and sour pork, mapo tofu, vegetable rice, wintermelon milktea and pork xiao long bao. The vegetable rice was just your usual fried rice topped with very few veggie leaves. All the viands we chose are just okay, even the xiao long bao. There are also better milktea shops out there who serve wintermelon huhuhu. I still encourage you to try the place!

I always wanted to try Fat Fook because of it’s funny/punny sounding name. Tried the chicken chop set and it was satisfying. The noodles were good and the soup base had the right distinct light flavor, the crowning glory that made it Taiwanese was the kiamchay, blanched veggies in brine which literally means sour vegetables. It was not overpowering and complimented the soup. The chicken chop looked and tasted like it just got out of the pan. Crispy and un-oily it’s satisfying that I wanted to order more but time is short. Will return to try the giant Xiao Long Bao
The salted egg xiao long bao was delicious. I highly recommend it. I also loved the cuapao although it might taste better if the pork belly was crispy. We also ordered the fried squid and the chicken chop which were big servings. For dessert, we tried the Masachi which was similar to buchi. I especially loved the milk teas which you can customize re: sugar levels or mixins. I love the bowl art installation inside the resto too.

I have been seeing this place popping up in malls recently and I was really curious about this place, funny name and all. Most people say that I need toneat here to try out an authentic Taiwanese food experience, so last weekend we tried it!
I have to say one thing, we over spent in this place...but it was well worth it!!! :) We enjoyed the Porkchop with salt and pepper, and also the Chicken Chops. We also tried and loved the Salted Egg Xiao Long Bao, I had to control myself otherwise I might have ordered another one! We alao ordered the Potsticker dumpling which was juicy in the inside and crispy on the outside and the Hot Shrimp Salad. The only complain I have is the noodle that came with the porkchop had no taste and was bland.
We tried the branch in Glorietta which was relatively new, the place was clean and fresh although small and we enjoyed eating here!
We were craving Taiwanese food and decided to try Fat Fook for the first time. Service was on par, restaurant design and decoration was beautiful! Love how they used patterned tableware on the walls and lighting fixtures. Lastly, the food was satisfying. The Chicken Chop was a bit overrated, but the Xiao Long Bao, Pork Bao, Sweet & Sour Pork and Maputo Tofu were good eats. Their Milk Tea was refreshing as well.
It was a rainy day and was really craving for some hot Chinese food.
The Taiwan beef noodles has a small serving for its price. The beef slices were thin and not the beef cubes I was expecting it to be, but it’s flavorful. Taiwan beef noodles usually have big, chunky beef cubes.
The giant xiaolongbao is one you should always try on your visit. It’s like 4 small xiaolongbao combined together. With really hot, hearty soup. So be very very careful when sipping. It really is scalding hot. They even provided a small straw to enjoy the soup. Cute!
The fried intestines is my go to appetizer when coming here. Make sure to ask for some salt and pepper for better enjoyment.
During my first time here, I ordered their Fried (1) Stinky Tofu[php208], (2) Salted Egg Xiao Long Bao[php178], and (3) Vegetable Dumplings[php148]. The sauce that comes with orders (1) and (3) are a great supplement to the already-sumptuous orders themselves. Order (2) was my main objective for the visit, and I was not disappointed. Worth the price!
The place itself was small but sufficently spacious. The multitude of china porcelain (?) plates and saucers of all sizes arranged on one of the walls were a dazzling sight. I hadn't finished oggling at them before my orders came.
Will come back when I have another dimsum-craving spell (and some money to spare). 😋
(On another note, the prices shown here are not updated. They're more expensive now.)
One of the Asian / Taiwanese cuisine I love especially their dumplings.
Their servings are already good for two or depends on your appetite. Variety of foods awaits you here! Soup here is best especially this rainy days.
Ambiance other wise is cozy and Instagramable too.
We are excited for this restaurant ever since it started its construciton inside glorieta 2. Today we had a chance to try it out. We were seated after around 20mins queuing. We ordered for black pepper beef (tast is just ok), garlic chicken (nothing special but still good), xia long bao (taste is great) and vegetable dumplings (taste well too). We also got their vegetable fried rice which is also ok. Service is good but we just needed to follow up our drinks. I also tasted their beef noodles, knowing that fatfook is from taiwan i was excited but its ordinary in taste unlike some beef noodles in taipei. Overall its good to try their dish and you wont be disappointed. Seating capacity on this branch is limited so expect some waiting time esp on a friday.
It’s my first time to dine here. I so love their interior! Food was great. I love their xiao long bao, fried intestines and milk tea! Indeed, a love at first bite!
