SM Jazz Mall is actually a hotspot for hidden gems and delicious eats. Next stop on our Food Crawl with the foodies was in J Cuppacakes for something sweet.
An adorable cafe decked out in whites and pastels, J Cuppacakes is the brainchild of Chef Julz. Here, their serve the cutest cupcakes. And what I love about their desserts is that they taste great! The cake is moist— hardly dry at all— and not sickeningly sweet. These were the flavors we tried out, although their Birthday Cake flavor will forever hold a special place in my heart:

❤️ Red Velvet: a chocolate cupcake dyed in a passionate red color. Comes with a cream cheese frosting for sour-sweet flavors.
❤️ Chocolate Dream: packs a ton of chocolate, from the base to the rich chocolate ganache
❤️ Classic: no frills chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting and rainbow sprinkles.
🧁 Vanilla Cupcakes 🧁
💙 Vanilla Lemon Birthday: a yellow cake with a hint of citrusy lemon, but intense buttery and vanilla flavors— just like a birthday cake. Comes with a delightfully sweet meringue frosting that is seemingly hard but yields a fluffy cloud-like softness.
💙 Salted Caramel: vanilla cupcake with a vanilla frosting topper with sticky-sweet caramel glaze.
💙 Neopolitan: the trifecta of chocolate, strawberry and vanilla in the form of frosting. It's piled on a vanilla cupcake in neat layers, and finished off with a wafer stick.
🌈 Other Flavors 🌈
💛 Ube: vanilla cake base with an earthy ube frosting. Topped with grated coconut for awesome local flavors.
💛 Carrot: a healthy (?) flavor featuring grated carrot inside the cake. Features notes of delicately spiced cinnamon which balance together with the cream cheese frosting.

Ordered their ravioli and club house for my date night with hubby. The place is very cozy and instagram worthy. Food is priced just right because you are paying for quality food and gorgeous ambiance. Will definitely return for more.

As a semi-certified (not claiming) cupcake lover, I'm very much thrilled to try all of the cupcakes of J Cuppacakes.
Some of the cupcakes are (listed by most to least favorite): Bunny Carrot, Neapolitan, Vanilla Lemon Birthday Cupcake, Red Velvet, Salted Caramel, Classic Chocolate, Chocolate Dream, Ube Coconut. I looooove carrot with walnut cakes that's why I fell in love with their Bunny Carrot. Their neapolitan also has a unique flavor, as well as the vanilla lemon birthday-- which is very light but dreamy. Paired with a cup of hot chocolate, definitely a delightful way to start my morning!
The ambiance of the restaurant is very dainty, instagrammable and you can just simply chill here and literally have a cupcake. Thumbs up for their manager and the staff for being kind, attentive and courteous. Hoping to come back soon and try their savouries!
I tried out one of their Valentine's Special Cakes (my dad's gift for my mom) and surprisingly, it was a Cookie Cake! I've had high expectations since I've tasted a cookie cake before, and now, I was a bit disappointed. Though it was pretty to look at, the cake tastes ordinary. The cookies weren't that sweet, the cream is so-so, but the toppers are okay. A bit overpriced.

The food is good. Callos and mushroom soup, brazo de mercedez and apple cinnamon iced tea. Well, there is nothing much to say other than the flavors got homey taste. The food is prepared really well and it somehow reminds me of home. I think, what makes it special is the place and the presentation.
The way they present the food is very nice and it matches very well with the atmosphere of the place. It was a very very nice experience. I will try the cupcakes next time. Thank you.
We were recently invited to a private foodie meetup at J. Cuppacakes. Together with other food and lifestyle bloggers, we had a baking workshop where we learned how to make the perfect cupcake and decorate it like a pro. . J. Cuppacakes has a chic vibe and is located on the ground floor of SM Jazz Mall, Bel-Air, Makati City. They cater gatherings such as baby showers, christening, bridal showers, birthdays, etc or just simply when you want to catch up and hang with friends. They also cater personalized cupcakes and cakes, dessert buffets, in-house and outdoor catering, decorating workshops, and more.
I am fond of baking but not the hard core type as I can only count in my fingers what I can really bake. Example would be the super easy Japanese Cheesecake as I saw it on Facebook and because it only has 3 ingredients. 😀 Next would be brownies, cupcakes and other cakes I can’t really remember as it was during my high-school days. So, I totally forgot about baking, pretty much. 🙁

Pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. For the longest time, I've put off dining here because I thought it's all desserts and, frankly, due to the lukewarm reviews I've read. Good thing we chanced upon an Eatigo promo - perfect opportunity to give this place a try.
Inside the restaurant, it's country chic and everything quaint and girly. White, slim furnishings, drop chandeliers, floral patterns on the cushions and curtains, flower arrangements and pastel napkin holders. A narrow staircase leads to the loft for more dining space. Really, every corner is picture-worthy. 😍
Food was great, too. Aside from cakes and pastries, they have sandwiches, pasta, waffles, crepes and rice meals. We ordered the following:
- Baked Spinach Cannelloni
- Creamy Grilled Chicken Pesto
- Snicker Doodle Crepe (butter, cinnamon, brown sugar)
- Brazo de Mercedes Cheesecake
We loved everything. My favorite was their cannelloni, which is one of their bestsellers. An order comes with 2 cylinders filled with ground beef. Best to share since it can be very filling, with the tomato sauce, beschamel sauce and cheese. Their brazo de mercedes was unexpectedly huge for a cheesecake, and not too sweet (there's a tinge of sourness, which we liked).
Service was A+. The staff who took our order was courteous and friendly, and we didn't have to wait long for our food to be served. Ate even offered to refill our glasses even after we were given the bill. 👏
We'll surely be back here to try their rice meals. Their crispy binagoongan, ordered by the table across us, smells yummy! 😍
I’m a sweet tooth. I cannot end a meal without any dessert. Whether it’s a fruit, ice cream, kakanin, or cake. And why not, right? It makes me happy and puts me in a really good mood. And recently my #SugarRush dreams finally came true. Just a few weeks ago, I had the chance to try my hands at baking at the dainty J Cuppacakes in SM Jazz Residences Makati. Together with some fellow food bloggers, we had An Afternoon Delight with J Cuppacakes. Did we nail it? Read on to find out!
Back in high school, I used to sell cookies for extra income and was the start of my interest for baking. Although, I haven't had the time nor the opportunity to pursue it further; I was fortunate to get an invite from the founder and owner of J. Cuppacakes, Julianne O. Bernardo. They held An Afternoon Delight with J.Cuppacakes at their branch in SM Jazz.
Last Saturday was one of the best events I've been to as a food blogger. I may seem like someone who just loves to eat and try out everything the world has to offer, but deep down inside of me is a girl who has always been interested in cooking and baking. So when J. Cuppacakes invited me to an afternoon of baking workshop, I was extremely delighted (and excited)!
If you know me, then you’ll know that I don’t bake. I try to cook from time to time, and I think I’m the only one who can eat what I prepare. Haha. But I am trying to cook. I’ve never attempted to bake. I’m always fascinated by those baking shows on Netflix that I never in my wildest dreams imagine myself baking. I love sweets but bake them? Well, it used to be an impossible dream that J.Cuppacakes made come true. 🙂

We we’re invited by Chef Julianne which is also the owner of the Resto, to attend their first bloggers event here. They organized a Baking Workshop for food and lifestyle bloggers.
Chef Julianne and her team taught us how to bake and design our own cupcakes. We also got to taste some of the delectable dishes from their menu.
Indeed an afternoon of fun, excitement, getting to know new people, bonding with fellow bloggers, eating delicious food and the joy of baking cupcakes.
A simple Baby shower for my colleagues and the place was perfect. we have a few design that matches the occasion, staff are friendly and accommodating . Simple yet memorable dinner.
My daughter celebrated her birthday here with her friends. The place is very girly and cozy. We ordered baked spinach cannelloni, crispy pork binagoongan, sirloin beef and mushroom, clubhouse, and nachos. All these was a hit. These were recommended by the manager and it is their best sellers.
The downside only is we ordered their DIY cupcake kit, which in the contract it has 2 small cupcakes, but on the day of the event, the cupcake kit only have 1 big cupcake, which they replace without notifying me. Anyway the kids still enjoy designing their on cupcakes.
Here are my thoughts on my recent experience at the SM Jazz Mall Branch:

Never thought that this dainty little cupcake shop offers traditional comfort Filipino cuisines and their selections are quite hefty that it'll leave you confuse after the third page.
Of all the dishes that we gorged, Crispy Binagoongang Baboy (shrimp paste Pork) is the one that stood out in a good way. Best eaten with hot steamed rice (there goes my diet) and for sure you'll not stop eating until that plate is all gone. Please and I beg you to try this if you just landed this sweet sixteen-ish shop for the first time.
Fried Chicken in ginger lemon sauce comes far second, probably because I'm a big fan of chicken that's why I have to mention it. The chicken itself is soggy, I guess they should put less sauce not go drench the meat that much. Nonetheless, flavour wise I guess this is worth trying.
I guess I'll come back next time to try their cupcakes. :P

They also propose coffee and conventionnal dishes.
Super cute place! I like it when they decorate according to the season. Looks like candy to my eyes. Wanna go back to this place given the chance.

Cupcakes. Mini cakes too pretty to eat. I do not have a sweer tooth but I'd eat a cupcake every now and then. I saw a review about this cupcake shop at Jazz. I decided to give it a try. Besides, i have enough salt in my bloodstream, I need a lil sugar to balance everything.
Brazo De Mercedes. Custard filled cheesecake with graham crust and topped with baked meringue.
This is a cheesecake disguising as a cupcake. I dont really care, it is the best thing that ever happened to pastries. The Picasso of Pastries. The first bite brings a sudden rush of dopamine in my brain. Eureka! I discovered the key to happiness... Wait screw happiness, this is pure bliss.
Custard + Cheesecake + Meringue = Brilliant!
Oh my god! This is so good, I want to lick the pastry paper thingy that holds the cupcake. I am slowly drifting into sugar shock, I dont mind, im leaving with a happy memory.
My close friend's daughter celebrated her 3rd birthday here at J Cuppacakes in SM Jazz. The place is decorated mostly in white with light pink and light yellow accents mimicking a wonderland feel. The place is primarily a pastry shop but also serves lunch and dinner. My friend reserved the whole place for the event including the mezzanine dining area. To reserve the whole place, you only need to choose a buffet menu for 40pax.
A friend reserved the whole plqce for her daughter's birthday! Interiors are nice and cheery. They served chicken teriyaki, korean ribs and pesto cream dory. Pumpkin soup was milky and creamy! More photos and stories on my blog soon.

such a cutie store that catches the attention of every girl who passes right in front of it. nice interior. cozy and clean inside. love their concept. Their cupcakes are pound and heavy. loved their hot choco
Their cupcakes can compete with other cupcakes from more famous bakeshops.
Priced at around P80-150, it's worth the price if you just want to splurge (and indulge) on a sinful dessert.

Baked Spinach Cannelloni at Php 260 is a best-seller so gave it a go. I thought I'll be expecting a diet-serving but no, at this price it can be shared by two. It was so cheesy and creamy on the outside and very beefy inside. The spinach gave it a different twist. It's so good I'm dreaming of it sometimes, hahaha.
This cookie dough cupcake was my sweet ending. Just like the pasta, it's good, too! The sweetness level is just fine. Presentation is cute, too.
This is the cutest place in SM Jazz Mall! The cupcakes are very affordable and the staff is very accomodating. I tried the blueberry cheesecake and it was worth it.
I recently dined in their branch inside SM Jazz Mall alone whilst waiting for the boyfriend. Staffs were so accommodating. Super loved their #callos with the rice served in a ❤️ shape. Very creative indeed. Will always be a fan of kikay restaurants/cafe like this ☺️
We celebrated my lola's birthday here, this restaurant just slayed the cute concept with not making it too much cute nor lacking any cute factors. I don't know if this one was seasonal but the place was just decorated perfectly for the Christmas season. It just screamed out "Winterland Wonderland!"
The food they served was amazing especially the Pasta Bolognese and their Red Velvet cupcake even their drinks were splendid and just perfectly crafted! I cannot wait to go back here :)

I am a fan of fancy girly interiors, when I saw this on a post by one of my colleagues I knew I need to go and have a look. I went there on the last day of work of my friend Anna. We were with some of our friends from work too. I loved how neat the place is. I ordered pesto pasta, flappy cakes, red velvet cupcake and chocolate crinkles for take out. I enjoyed everything I ordered but, the crinkles for me is the best! It's moist and soft, and just the right sweetness. I would highly recommend this place. ☺☺☺
Last Sunday, after accompanying our friend Jai to her second wedding gown fitting at my sister Hazel's place, we went to J. Cuppacakes’ branch in SM Jazz Mall in Bel-Air, Makati to check their cakes. The couple are eyeing J. Cuppacakes’ signature nude cake as their wedding cake, which they saw on their Facebook page.

Been here numerous times already. This is my favorite dessert haven especially it's just a few minutes walk from my place. My ultimate favorite is their brazo de Mercedes cheesecake cupcake. I've tried smores, green tea, red velvet, cookie dough, carrot cake, etc. Good thing is they are cheaper compared to other and the actual cupcake is moist. They have various flavors to choose from. I love the taste plus the interior of the place is so nice. It's ideal for business meetings, baptismal receptions, etc. I also gave their penne a try, and it was good. Totally recommended for dessert lovers 😘
The desserts here are okay for me. I wouldn't really rave about the taste but their cupcakes are just right. Not too sweet yet not too bland. What caught my attention though is their shop's ambiance! I really love it! It makes me want to stay there and read all day while munching one of their cupcakes or maybe order a good cup of coffee. If you're looking for a relaxing place to just chill and catch up with a friend, I recommend this one.
Their food is appetizing.I bought a muffin there for lunch and it is really good. Superb! For me its taste is just right, not too sweet and definitely not bland. When you enter the place, you will be welcome by the scent of cinnamon and I definitely love every bit of it. The place is so great. It feels like I'm in English tea shop.
A super quaint cupcake place in SM Jazz! It’s impossible to miss this place since it’s located near mall entrance and the doll-house theme will surely catch your attention. It will spike your curiosity and you will find out that interiors were even better – floral patterns all over, charming jars, vases, and furniture pieces! It’s like every girl’s dream for her bedroom.
Nothing special on their cupcakes given a price of 75 bucks each. I ordered a red velvet cupcake and it tastes like all others. You will really go here for the overall feel and setting of the place.
I've been to many cupcakes places because aside from the fact that they are mostly cute and charming, cupcake happens to be my most favorite dessert. Out of the many there are only one place, which cupcakes passed to my liking, it's J Cuppacakes.
Their SM Jazz takes the cake for being the cutest. You go inside and you will immediately feel as cheerful as a person who has had too much chocolates. A word of warning, cupcakes here are expensive, but I promise you that they are worth it, especially the brazo de mercedez. It's so good that it still haunts me to this day.
For drinks try the ponche crema. It's a special drink made of egg yolks, cointreau, and sweet milk.
Among all the cupcake stores that I’ve visited, this is the one that I appreciate the most. Their cupcakes are reasonably priced yet tastes superb. Furthermore, they also offer items other than those sweet delights.
I like the chic Victorian vibe that this place exudes (and I instantly fell in love with the beautiful chandelier). It will surely wake up the princess in every girls heart although it is not too girly to point that it becomes overrated. I like how they keep it quaint and sophisticated.
The Banofee Cupcake (P75) has the right combination, or should I say ratio, of coffee and sweet banana. It’s light, aromatic, and pleasant to eat.
