This place is great! I arrived at 11 in the morning and didn't leave until after the sun had set. I really enjoyed their Taiwanese Green Tea (w/ honey) and the Kiwi cheesecake. The prices are affordable and the atmosphere is very cozy. They have excellent and attentive staff as well. A special mention to both Aaron and Harold :) I'll definitely be back in the future.

Metro 9 is your away from home Cafe. It's cozy, warm, and filled with unfriendly staff just like your parents. Yes, you read that right. Not quite satisfied with how they deal with customers but I will be reviewing base from the taste of coffee.

One of my favorite weekend cafe! Metro 9 offers milk tea at a very affordable price. No long line queues! Milk tea is priced at 79 pesos, while with pearl costs 89 pesos. The ambience is good and they have some cakes and sandwich for snacks. I just hope they will also accept card payments soon!
Great ambiance inside with good ventilation. Ample space for visitors and those who like to work or study at a coffee shop.
Carrot Cake is good and very thick.
Cappuccino is priced right with a very strong kick.
Music inside should be turned down a bit.

If youโre a milk tea addict (like me) and pulling up an all-nighter (#crammerclub), then this is the place to go! Their drinks are just the perfect kind of sweet, but what really hit the spot is their Honey Milk Tea (definitely recommend). Although, the place is small and often crowded. Gotta go there early if you want to find a comfortable seat.

I ordered an egg & ham sandwich and honey milk tea. The sandwich is just too small and plain for me, I just ordered it because I didnโt had breakfast, while the milk tea is so so good, definitely a must try for those of you who plans to go there.

Great place to study and operating hours is convenient to people. Prices are considerable. Service is not bad. Their milk tea is not so sweet even if the sugar content is regular. There is wifi just ask them the password.
Been meaning to try since 2 years ago because my friend & I were looking for cafรฉs that were open until the wee hours of the morning. I never had the chance though as it was on the other end of the village/barangay. If my cousin hadn't told me that she tried their coffee at The Columns branch, Metro 9 would've been buried in the recesses of my mind. ๐
Luckily, we now liver closer so my sister & I were able to try their Boba Milk Tea (with the standard ratio). Lovers of tea rejoice! The taste of black tea is pronounced in this drink. ๐ Not a fan of tapioca balls but the pearls were just the right amount of chewy. ๐ Like other milk tea places, you have the option to customize the sugar, and ice levels to suit your taste.
The staff is friendly but the service seemed slow. The other customers who came after us (5 min. or so) got their drinks first. ๐
If medyo late na and hindi maabutan na open ang SB (except in people support) this is an alternative place where you can take a sip of your daily dose of caffeine during late nights.

As someone who likes to drink milk tea, it would be of great convenience for me to find a store that offers cheap varieties of the drink tagged with good quality and that is near to the usual places where I stay such as the school or the mall. Luckily, Metro9 is near my current school and gave it a try (since it was also a hassle for me to order milk tea via third-party apps).
To be safe with my choice, I went with their Boba Milk Tea that costs PHP89, cheaper than other milk tea stores. First sip and it exceeded my expectations and blew my mind as something this cheap could actually taste great (and by great I mean really great and amazing). Mind you that my choice was 50% sugar (and they also have choices for the ice) but it was really tasty and sumptuous.
I would definitely come back for another dose of milk tea and try their other products such as their coffee line and pastries. However, Iโm not a fan of not having proper air ventilation inside the store. The only cold place is the entrance.

Metro9 is one of the nearest cafes around in my place in my makati. So every time there's a sudden craving for any specialty coffees, I recommend it to be a go to place for that and their open until 3 am which is perfect for students reviewing or workers on graveyard shift. I ordered their Vanilla Latte, I'm expecting something really sweet which is pretty common on Vanilla lattes, but it's not that sweet and that's a good thing for me because I prefer my coffee to be strong. Their coffee kept me awake through the night tbh ๐ the ambiance is pretty laid back and I love that their barista station is literally in the middle of the cafe so you'll see them preparing your coffee or milk tea. It surpassed my expectation so that's a great thing. I'll definitely go back here.

Food/Coffee: 5/5 I ordered their Metro 9 House special in Large and it was so delicious and HUGE. Went there 3 times already. I also tried their Americano it was strong to the point that I had a hard time sleeping hahaha
Service: 5/5 All of them are very polite. They greet you once you come in and greets you as well once you leave.
Ambiance: 5/5 They have a bar where you can work and won't charge you extra if you need to charge your phone or laptop. It's a great place to work or study, you just need to be early for you to be able to have a seat at the first floor to use their free electricity. The second floor has a lot of space too but no outlets. What's amazing here is that you can stay as long as you want.

I went there for a quick bite. I finally stayed for few hours, enjoying different hot drinks.
The barista really seem to enjoy their work. I had an excellent cappuccino!
It's a friendly and cozy place to work (Wi-Fi and outlets available) or to meet with friends. Excellent place for the drinks, not so good for the bites.
My favorite is their Iced Honey Taiwan Green Tea and their Frappe. They have fast wifi. The second floor is spacious. Although they need to improve on their pastries.

We have found this place when I had to wait for my partner return their car home as we do not have a parking space in my place. We just got back from Tagaytay and I have got a couple of stuffs with me I need to kill time somewhere I could comfy sit and wait. I would definitely love the idea of hanging around somewhere there is a nice hot coffee to order๐. As usual I never expected the ambiance to be so cool and cozy inside for when you enter it is the coffee bar that would welcome you with the baristas then behind that is where you can choose your seat or upstairs just like what is on the pic I have taken.
Would love to come back for the Cafe Americanoโ whe n I feel like having black coffee that is not that strong.

Stumbled across this little Taiwanese cafe across my place, and I was surprised that it's still packed at 1 in the morning.
Got curious and went inside. Place felt a bit cramped and crowded with students who probably need wifi, but after seeing the menu, I knew why. They have diverse selection of drinks, not just coffee, but milk tea too. Their prices are also more student-friendly compared to popular cafes.
I ordered regular Iced Chocolate Mocha for only P129. I also liked that they have sweetness level option for coffee like in most tea joints. Size is alright with cute latte' art. Doesn't have 'WOW' factor taste-wise, but certainly isn't far from what other coffeeshops offer. Overall, I finished my drink satisfied.
Glad I found this place and will most likely come back soon.
I live in Linear Makati where Metro9 is located and it has been my go-to coffee shop since 2015. Unfortunately, their coffee and other beverages doesn't taste as good as the ones I ordered a year ago. I also experienced receiving wrong orders from the baristas. In example, they forgot to add honey on my supposedly "Honey Green tea" drink or they forgot to add syrup/sweetener on my Milk tea and coffee. But their desserts are superb! My personal faves are The Blueberry Cheesecake and the Chocolate one (forgot the name)
Please do fix that opening on the corner upstairs.. I can't lean on the wall because it's not locked and it's also hard to close and the smell from the inside stinks.
Overall, i still like Metro9 because it's just down our lobby and their internet speed is quite fast. Just please do improve your drinks and reduce the sweetness of your sandwiches.

A small Taiwanese Cafรฉ located under the towering Linear in San Antoinio village. Metro Nine or what the students from nearby school say โM9โ has became the perfect spot for them to have their studies there or have a little chill out. Also some professionals get work done here as well because of the strong coffee and service Wi-Fi.
Hereโs my review.
Reservations: Like most cafes, M9 has no reservations, as far as I know. This place will get packed minutes after 6pm when the students and work people are about to leave their schools and offices. Else, itโs a great time to hang in this place is around 7am to 5pm since those are the time where there are no or little amount of people are there.
Ambiance: There was this one time in the summer of 2016, where a friend and I would do our freelance work here. The place was quite during 7am to 5pm. Since we had to catch a deadline we worked there past 5pm and the place started to get packed. The crowed that s mixed with students, friends, and professional were catching up with each other or discussing what the next assignment is or whenโs the next cut off. I guess we were just lucky that we had headphones on so we didnโt get distracted by the noise and the Taiwanese pop cafรฉ music.
The place is also your hipster cafรฉ where the walls arenโt painted and the cling isnโt covered and you can still see the over head piping. Itโs a small space but has two floors; the ground floor has around 10 seats with tables inside and out and you can also seat near the baristas at the bar. A few steps up and you have around five to six couches perfect for hangouts with a small group of friends.
Suggestion for the Customers: Come here during the hours of 7am-5pm if you want to get work done. Else, come here anytime to chill by yourself or with your friends.
Service: For the people asking in every cafรฉ, yes they have Wi-Fi. This is one of the reasons why this cafรฉ has a lot of students and professionals. Their internet speed is good for doing research, sending out emails, and if you an abusive Wi-Fi hog, downloading movies and series (I donโt recommend that though, think of the other people using the Wi-Fi). The place also has a decent amount of outlets for you to charge your gadgets. Unfortunately only the downstairs have the outlets. Theyโve sealed the outlets upstairs because, in my guess theyโre trying to cut cost since last time they were still available.
When it comes to staff, M9 like any kind of cafรฉ will have friendly baristas to attract new customers and retain old customers. This true to the fact that Iโve actually known some of the baristas there and the in return also know me.
Suggestion for the Restaurant: Bring back the outlets upstairs. It was so convenient.
Food and Beverages: Letโs start off with the beverages. They have a decent amount of selection of coffee based and tea based drinks. My favorites are the Almond Milk Tea, the Asam Black Tea, the Oreo Frappe, and the Chocolate Mocha Latte. They have a reasonable price that wonโt burn a hole in your pocket and surprisingly when you order your drink iced, they donโt fill the cup with ice.
Food, you have to try their mini cheesecakes. They have flavors like blueberry, strawberry, and to my surprise pineapple. They also have the mini cake called โChocolate Loverโ and yes this is truly for the sweet tooth. These cakes may seem that it will only serve one but I have finished on by myself since I share the mini cake with my girlfriend ( Nikita Cardinal follow her here on Zomato). They also have sandwiches that I donโt recommend since theyโre a bit pricy for the servicing size.
Suggestion for the Restaurant: Please, do something about your sandwiches.
Final Say: Metro 9 or M9 is a simple place with simple drinks and desserts. A great place to get some work or study down depending on the time youโll be there. On the other hand, itโs also a great place to hang with friends and chat anytime youโll be there. Perfect for the people who want to be in a cafรฉ on a budget.
The first Taiwanese cafe I've tried. Their Oreo cheesecake is one of the best out there. Also have a variety of cheesecakes and other desserts, though the one that I really liked was the oreocc. The place is comfy and you can also work with your laptops inside.
I'm always a fan of coffee and fast internet.
Since I'm from FEU Makati, this have been my study place because of the cheap coffee and fast internet. Their coffees are really good(if you're a sweet tooth like me Ha!) and i really love their Honey Assam Black tea. However, their sandwiches are not that good and it has small serving(as in sobrang konti isat kalahating tinapay lang tapos wala halos wala pang laman) but their cakes are really good! I love their strawberry cheese cake and Chocolate lover cake! Over all it's nice. I just don'5 like their sandwiches. ๐๐

I used to go here when they're still on soft opening. Fast WI fi, good ambiance, unlimited milk and cream on the side, free extra shot, accommodating baristas and always smiling owners and Co owners. But later on, they slowed down their internet and its not 24/7 open anymore. I can say that " I like to go here just for the fast internet and good ambiance, but a no no to their coffee's". I was disappointed when I ordered a green tea because it doesn't savor well, I even mixed it with milk to ameliorate it so it could turn to a green tea latte but still a no no. Please improve your drinks. But the ambiance is good.
Awesome place to hangout late at night! Also great when you need to get some work done. Their coffee's amazing as well. The ambiance is cozy too.

It was really a wonderful experience in Metro9 and of course, the food and drinks was wonderful too. I love it when you're in this Cafe, and the employees dont "throw" you out, but let you stay "whenever" you decide to leave. :)
Been looking for new cafe nearby after my APE and I found this while walking along Malugay St. It's my first time here so i ask the barista on their recommendation. They says cafe mocha or caramel macchiato. I chose the latter. Want to have some sweets but then didnt buy one as one order of cake seems to be too big for me. I cant eat it alone lol. The taste of the coffee is so good! Might come back again since it's just near my place and will try some cakes when i come back ๐๐ป
I'm not really a super fan of coffee, but I'm always willing to try new coffee places around the Metro, and I must say, Metro9 is now on my fave coffee place list. The prices are affordable, both iced & hot coffee are good, the desserts & other food are also good. I'll always come back for more.
An oasis in the desert of buildings and people. The location is perfect since the area lacks coffee shop and hangout place. The ambience is good. Light is subdued. There's a mezzanine and a bar-type coffee cove. What's also cool is that they're open until 2am weekdays and 24 hours on Friday and Saturday. Just always put this first on your list to hangout because the place easily gets full house.

THEIR HOUSE SPECIAL IS THE SHIT. Sorry for being explicit but there's no other word to describe the beautiful creation. I was supposed to get the Hazelnut Latte but it was a blessing in disguise that it wasn't available at the time we went so I was left with the option of House Special. Being a first timer, I asked about it and they just said it's "creamy coffee". And I prefer creamy than black so this got to me, and now it's at the top of my favorite coffee list. It doesn't taste strong of course, but you can feel the caffeine kick in shortly after downing the drink.
Props for the place since it looks really neat with the industrial/minimalist interiors. They pulled off the black, white, grey and wood color scheme. It's just a bit small and not well-ventilated especially on the second floor. They also don't have their own restroom, I think you have to use a restroom outside of the store.
It's still a good place to get some work done alone or just chat with a few friends. Just don't be bothered with the 2009-2012 pop songs that they blast out loud in the store. Unless you're into that, you'll be fine! If you plan on staying for a while you might end up getting a lot of drinks and food cause it's pretty affordable! Almost everything is below a hundred bucks.
There were also a few other things not available in the menu when we went but the crew was friendly and kind enough to explain and accommodate our needs. Service was also a bit slow at the time tho! With just a bit more practice, you'll get things right, guys! I understand that you're still on soft opening :)
Will go back for sure not just for the coffee but for all the other things I wanna try in the menu. It's right beside Collective so please give it a try when you wanna sober up or something ๐
Nice and neat place. Tried their hazelnut latte and it was strong (I'm not a coffee lover tho) but I guess I can say it's good coffee. I must commend all the baristas for being very accommodating. =) Cool place to have some chitchats with friends. Good thing there's a neighborhood cafe since I live nearby. Must try their desserts and sandwiches next time!

If you want to be saturated with both caffeine and your lessons, this is one of the best places for you. This newly opened Cafe is open 24hours. The staff are so nice. Their frappes, coffee, cakes and sandwiches are relatively cheap and are so delicious. My favorite is their coffee cake that's worth 69 pesos. Is there anything cooler than that? A cake to keep you awake.
The place and its lighting is good for studying. Just don't go there at hours like 4-8pm because the cafe's full with a bunch of noisy students. If noise doesn't bother your studying then you are so awesome. :)
The cafe doesn't have its own CR. It shares with the CR of the condominium. Well, it's okay because the CR is always clean and it's new also.
Finally finding some good texture coffee bean without rubosta bitter. and strongest flavor I like personally in Philippines. unlike the others mostly focus on dark roasting to make the taste thicker. The taste of regular and large size are the same! I think that's why you have only 2 size options is for staying the same ratio right! Looking forward to have single estate in your shop afterwards!!

A "No coffee. No workee." Motto for us. Coffee gives us energy to do things/works more productive and lovely. Specially when you have that creamy, milky, sweet taste of coffee. Its your choice to make it hot or cold. Give it a try. Best stress reliever for sure!
This is my favorite coffee place to date. The Metro9 House Blend is a must try and you can't go wrong with the Hazelnut Latte. The place is prestine and cozy. The customer service, outstanding. I come here at least once a week. The best thing about it is...even though the place gets packed, it stays surprisingly quiet. Patrons come here to study, read, work on their sketches ;) or get lost in thought. And best of all, they stay for good coffee...which is seriously what all coffeeshops should be about.
I like this hidden gem.
Bonus points: open till very late on weekdays and for 24hrs on weekends... and they deliver too!
Points to ponder: Limited menu, washroom (shared with Linear) needs improvement.
