Highly recommended! They made our daughter's intimate debut celebration extra special and successful by serving very delicious food at a reasonable price, hardworking and friendly staff especially Ms Sherly very helpful. Our guests' consistent comment is the delicious food and beautiful ambiance of the place. Rating of 5 is not enough for the quality of service they gave us. We will surely regularly visit your place
Thank you Happy Garden Cafe! Great food! Friendly staff! Super nice place! Thank you for accommodating us on an Easter Sunday for my daughter's 1st birthday! The guests loved the food and the place so much!!!
Why only 5 stars? You deserve much more! Thank You for making my Mom's 90th birthday celebration last night a truly memorable one... your oh-so-attractive and cozy interiors, your consistently good food (who goes wrong with Bizu, anyway?), your very attentive service staff... it was truly worth the drive to Makati from another side of town! Keep up the good work!
I loved every space and corner of the place. Very cozy and the staff are friendly who made us feel welcome even if we came in a few minutes before closing. We loved the green salad with lots of fruits and candied pecans. The truffle and mushroom pizza was surprisingly "delishcious".

I highly recommend this restaurant for it's very good food, relaxing ambiance and most especially for the super nice staff/crew. Thank you so much for helping us decorate the place for my friend's baby shower. We really enjoyed the day!😊
We had both our marriage ceremony and reception at Happy Garden Cafe on March 6 2016. It was an intimate affair with 17 people. Shirlie and her staff were so helpful with preparations and the big day. The setting in Happy Garden Cafe is a nature lover's delight and the food is quite unique and delicious. Happy Garden Cafe played an important part in making our wedding day perfect. Thanks for the magic; Shirlie, Monica, Joy and Neal.

Everything is really very good! I miss the pizza with peaches which was taken out from their menu already.
A great place for events. Great food an even better staff.
Their OMG Pasta (PhP 495 - for sharing, PhP 265 - personal) closely resembles the traditional palabok but with more delectable elements in the mix. It consisted of crab fat, scallops, smoked fish, and angel hair shrimps shell sauce. The flavors were rich without leaving you in a food coma.
Ox Tongue with Mushroom Sauce (PhP 795) was delicious! Ordering anything with truffle sauce always turns out a good decision for us. The mushroom sauce was taken up a notch with white wine. We loved how the heady aroma even intensified the robust earthy flavors.
Wagyu Beef Salpicao on Shiitake Black Rice (PhP 495) was one of the highlights of the meal for me. It was composed of Saikoro wagyu "melt-in-your-mouth" beef cubes that demonstrated a really pure tenderloin beef taste.
Tofu with Black Pepper Sauce (PhP 295) is a vegetarian-friendly and gluten-free dish that treat tofu the way it deserves. It featured an intriguing display of flavors and textures with fresh shiitake mushrooms, mixed greens, tahini, and orange dressing.
In their Margherita Pizza (PhP 525), the boldness of the tangy tomato stood out most, which we liked a lot. It was nicely complemented by the pomodoro sauce and mozzarella cheese, all punctuated by overarching notes of fragrant basil. The crust had a puffy-edged character that I also enjoyed.
Prices are generally on the expensive side but deliver good and reasonable value. Happy Garden Cafe seems to be dishing out straightforward, satisfying fare in a relaxed setting. It's doing an admirable job in nurturing the area with a great concept which combines approachable healthy dishes with comfort food favorites. This cafe represents the owners' love for fresh food, even welcoming those with gluten intolerance. Check it out.
Healthy, gluten-free, organic, and clean ingredients are some of the things you can associate Happy Garden Cafe with. Vegans and vegetarians also find comfort in dining here.
I dined here tonight with the owner and brains behind this concept, Annabel Tanco. She shares that some of the dishes they offer here were longtime recipes of hers. Anabel is also behind the successful brand, Bizu.
The feast commenced with Happy Garden’s refreshing bowl of Watercress Soup. I’ve never heard of such soup made mostly from water plants, and I’m glad I did. It was really delicious, especially with its addition of organic white egg.
Next stop was an unexpected favorite, Annie’s Cauliflower Rice. It gave me the impression that I was downing carbs, but it was actually all vegetable. It’s a complete meal in itself as it also has shrimps, spinach egg and flavors of smoked fish.
I paired my ‘rice’ with two of their premium items, USDA Choice Rib-Eye with Truffle Mushroom Sauce and Thai Shrimp Cakes. The former was meat all mighty and tender, while the latter was shrimp air-fried to perfection. Don’t forget to dip it with loads of sweet and spicy, agave chili sauce.
I highly recommend having Happy Garden’s collection of beverages as well while you indulge in their food. I enjoyed their Green Juice tremendously, a concoction made up of kale, parsley, apple, celery, and lemon. This juice can boost one's immune system and is anti-cancer.
Finally, we had sweets. Our table welcomed two ice desserts, one is traditional Thai Halo Halo made sugar-free and the other, their very own wow version of our local Halo Halo.
I am surely visiting again. There is absolutely no reason why I shouldn’t. Happy Garden has all the pieces from beautiful ambiance to a quality, well-designed menu.
I have gluten intolerance and finding a restaurant which serves gluten-free is very rare in our country.
Their food and desserts are all yummy plus they’re reasonably priced. Must try!
I've been meaning to visit and dine here for the longest time. They're under Bizu so I was confident that the food, service, and interiors would be lovely - and they are indeed!
We tried their OMG Pasta, which was like a fancy palabok with angel hair pasta and seafood; Margherita Pizza which was okay, tasted like how margherita should be; Truffle Pizza which was SO GOOD, and cupcakes in banana and carrot flavors which tasted okay but were creatively designed as flower pots, though the 'pot' was made from silicone and wasn't edible - it would have been better if that itself was edible.
The ambiance was really warm and cozy framed by greens and lights, perfect for small gatherings.
This place has undergone many hands - from a different resto to Kitchen 56, now to Happy Garden. :) The interiors are relaxing and you seem to be transported to another area altogether. The food is very healthy and offers salads, pasta and other good stuff. :) food is a little expensive though but is understandable, given that it is not your usual fare. how they present it, offers a unique and interesting take. the taste is amazing! :)
Everytime we would pass by this restaurant on foot or by car, we would always think it was some kind of flower shop. But thanks to a social gathering for someone dear to us, we finally set foot inside and saw how beautiful their interior was. Truly enough, they had a relaxing outdoor vibe. The famous Bizu caught us by surprise, keeping us excited for dessert later on.
Buffet experience was very, very enjoyable! We loved, pretty much, EVERYTHING! Notable mentions would be the tenderness of the 10-hour Roast Beef, the fragrant herbs of our chicken and bread rolls, the dressing and delicious alfalfa of our salad, and the fish, so soft you can eat it without using your teeth. 😊 And of course, nothing beats good bonding time with friends and loved ones.
Service was very quick on beverage refills and taking plates out. Everyone was friendly and accommodating as well. Thank you for a good first-visit experience!
I actually just made an account on Zomato because I have eaten here several times already and I want to give it the rating that it deserves. I have been reading some of the other reviews here and I just want to say that, if you're looking for cheap food, then this place is NOT the place to go to. The INGREDIENTS of SOME of the food on their menu are actually expensive- so I do feel that it is rightly priced. It's actually cheaper than some of the other restaurants that I have been to that also caters to people who are looking for something healthy and organic to eat. My personal favorites here are:1.) Happy Garden Halo-Halo (Probably the best halo-halo that I've ever eaten)2.) Spinach Ravioli Pomodoro 3.) OMG PastaI crave often for some of what they have served me here and that's why I keep coming back. The service is also great. The ambiance is so relaxing and you get to eat free popcorn while waiting for your food. Everything is also gluten free. I'm not sure why it's called a "Cafe" but I do consider this place to be one of Makati's hidden gems. - Kudos to the chef who cooks here, the staff and to the person who worked on the recipe of the dishes.
Visited this place around lunch time and there weren’t any customers around except me. The food is good but might only be appreciated by those whose preference is true-blue healthy eating. Price point is also a bit high.
Had a lunch meeting here with some colleagues and the place looks really amazing. The parking was really easy too.
Ordered the Salmon Rice Bowl (which tastes good). The food were all organic.
Service is okay, but can be improved. The place is made friendly for senior citizens. Quite spacious and well lit for meetings.
We’ve been looking for a place to celebrate our Daughter’s 18th Birthday and we found out Happy Garden Cafe has good review, hence we went and tried their food. We ate Korean beef stew, pampano fish, chicken satay and margarita pizza. It was all delicious, the presentation and quality is excellent. Above all the ambience was perfect, it was cozy and so relaxing. The staff we’re so courteous and friendly.
Unexpectedly found myself in The Happy Garden while waiting for the wife's dance class to end. And what a happy experience it was! The ambiance was relaxing and the food was delicious. Started out with really tasty Scotch Eggs and a fantastic beef brisket sandwich aptly named Magical. The wife ordered their pumpkin soup (when she came in from dance class) and it was very tasty too. Also had the calamansi mint smoothie (very refreshing). Reasons I didnt rate them higher are serving time (a bit of a wait) and price (first date prices). But definitely worth going back to.
On another solo adventure, I decided to walk the quieter streets of Jupiter. Moving past Makati avenue, amidst the unlit streets, I found myself seeing a garden of sorts and a sign that says ‘Happy Garden Cafe’. Stepping inside, it’s like a rustic white patio with mismatched tables and chairs, giving the feel of dining just by your own garden.
It's a new year and everyone is looking to have a healthy start to the year. Aside from working out and doing exercise, we all look for healthy alternative for our everyday intake. One good way is to start eating more vegetables and fruits start lessening gluten and meat intake.
For the health conscious ones, there's a new place called Happy Garden Cafe in Makati which offers a wide array of healthy food. Last January 26, we had our first taste of this place. Overall, it was a great one maybe because the place wasn't so crowded. Moreover, the homeyness of the place just makes one to bask in the overall relaxing mood.
You can find below my review of the establishment.
Food. 3.5/5
They have quite an expansive array of healthy food on their menu ranging from appetizers to entrées to desserts. For our food excursion, we decided to order the signature Truffle Mushroom Pizza, the Humble Korean (Cauliflower Rice), the Fortified Roasted Chicken and the Pure-Harvest Salad. As this was my friends' dinner (I already ate prior to going here), we first indulged in the salad. The salad, full of lettuce, cinnamon-soaked diced potatoes, dried berries and nuts. The salad was great!
I next tried the Chicken. It totally deflated my enthusiasm because the chicken was a bit under-cooked. It was late when we realized we could've asked for it to be changed, or at least cooked properly. The saving grace was the pizza which is so succulent you can really taste how good the mushroom used was. Double thumbs up. However, the pizza was so small in proportion to its price (I'll get to that later). I didn't try the Humble Korean Rice Bowl because its main component is beef.
Ambiance. 4/5
Though located in a more obscure section of the city, the restaurant is spacious and very neat. There are numerous tables to choose from so you can choose where you can comfortably sit. There are also some books (not sure if you can read them though). It is a great place to hang out in with great friends. You can just chill here and talk over things like life and what not. The total garden vibe is negated by the plastic flowers and plants flanking the place. Understandably so, it would be very costly to have actual plants in place.
Manager/Staff. 4/5
The Manager is very warm, amiable and accommodating. Upon entering the establishment, she already made us feel at home as we settle down. Her knowledge of the restaurant's menu is commendable. Moreover, she accommodated our every demand and answered our every question.
Price. 3/5
Okay, I have to admit, I was a bit taken aback by the prices. Whereas I understand that vegetables are quite expensive in the city I can't quite contain my surprise. The Pizza, for example, is good for two at most and costs PHP 615.00. I think the prices are too steep but I guess one must pay a price for every "healthy" endeavor. On top of the pricey food, they charge 10% service charge. Oh well, such is life.
I love this place! A great resto to dine on a stressful day. Food is superb and the free popcorn as an appetizer makes a hungry tummy happy! :)
So hungry after a well deserved spa treatment, I went to HGC to satisfy my craving for pasta. I certainly was not disappointed! I tried ELEVATED--described in the menu as freshly Made spaghetti tossed in garlic and olive oil. being a pasta fan, P325 is value for Money. The dish is tasty, the spaghetti al dente and light.
The service is also elevated :) Allen was attentive without being intrusive. I was alone and he knew when I needed him. He saw me coughing and offered me water. He gave me free popcorn which by the way is also a plus. He offered lamb ham, but politely turned him down after tasting because I'm no lamb fan.
In the end, I requested for a menu. I need to bring my friends here for quality time. The ambience is wonderful. It's no kind of place .
Have you heard of this quote " “If you admire somebody, you should go ahead and tell them. People never get the flowers while they can still smell them?”. These words came from Kanye West, actually, and they do make sense, don't you think?. Being generous with good words for others is not only endearing but also refreshing, it refreshes your soul somehow. And I believe every day is an opportunity to smell a flower. So I did!
I would recommend to eat here with a group of friends to get the most of their meals. Fairly pricey but if you're with a group of 4-5, you could make the most of the good dishes they have. I love their mushroom cheese wrap, very filling and it's vegetarian too. I love their pizza as well. they even sang for a friend cause it was her birthday then. 4 because it's fairly pricey and overall food is ok (only some are great)
ambience is wonderful
A restaurant under the Bizu Groupe, Happy Garden Cafe advocates serving of healthy and organic dishes without losing its delicious taste. This standard is not for everyone yet there is a growing market for organic food lovers determined to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
The Food:
Happy Coffee (Php 685) - It’s quite intimidating to order Happy Coffee because of its price. Yes, it’s P685 for a glass! Ouch! Carefully sipped, and understood why it’s 5x pricier than other expensive coffee. In it, there’s Venchi Chocolate Cuban Rhum, espresso and whipping cream. I’m not really sure if this justifies the price. But I enjoyed the blend. A Happy Coffee indeed.
Flower Salad with Carrot Dressing (Php 425) - There’s flower power going on in this healthy Flower Salad with Carrot Dressing. Mixed fruits and nuts on mixed greens plus edible flowers all around. I expected to look blooming after eating this. Nyahahaha!
Truffle Mushroom Pizza (Php 645) - Our favorite at Happy Garden Cafe, Truffle Mushroom Pizza! Cream cheese and truffle cream topped with oyster mushrooms, buttoned mushrooms and mozzarella cheese, glazed with honey and kale. I say, this is guilt-free with all the organic components of this pie!!
Porchetta (Php 375) - Don’t worry about this Porchetta, it’s made healthy over Cauliflower Rice! I didn’t miss eating rice when I had their Cauli Rice, which is Cauliflower made into rice granules. It’s the best way to transition from rice cravings to a diet without heavy carbohydrates.
For rice toppings, you could choose either Brown Rice or Cauliflower Rice.
The Ambiance:
Happy Garden Cafe has a space where you want to live and breathe in everyday. Decorated with hanging plants and flowers, with lounge chairs and comfortable dining tables and seats, it’s a venue where women would love to brunch and dine every now and then. The theme, other than being an indoor garden restaurant, has a message to sit down and relax and forget about the busy-ness of work. Other than a dating spot for O and I, I thought of it as a place to meet my girlfriends or a place for my “me-time” with a book to read.
