Great service. Everything we ordered was yummy, and specially liked the guava adobo and ube cheesecake.
I think i ordered their house salad, it's yummy with a generous servings! We also got the chorizo & shrimps appetizer and chicken chimichurri, both have superb taste! And staff are nice! Will definitely go back! 😊
Went here for a quick lunch and kept it simple! Just had their Chimichurri Chicken which has grilled boneless chicken in a good chimichurri sauce with liberal grana padano cheese and mashed potato. Was just right to satisfy my hunger! Very well executed. The complimentary bread with butter was good too.
There was complimentary bread and butter which was so good! Butter was homemade and was really delicious! We ordered truffle pasta and chimchurri chicken. The pasta was cooked well, truffle sauce was very aromatic, the mashed potato in chimchurri chicken dish was awesome as well. Everything was good :)
Great food! We were pleasantly surprised to find that the Mushroom soup was quite tasteful and not your usual "canned" type. We ordered the Guava Pork Adobo and the Belly Gratin for our mains and we were just blown away by the unique and distinct flavors. Then we topped the whole lunch experience with an ube cheesecake that's truly satisfying: the slice portion was really good for sharing and the ube was undeniably delicious.
Perhaps the only negative thing in our dining experience was the presence of a bunch of noisy customers who can't quite keep their voices under control. Not the cafe's fault though.
The pizza was big and really yummy. I also liked the Chimichurri Chicken. Pastas could become tastier but all in all the food we ordered was good. The staff was very attentive and friendly as well.

Love Aruga Cafe!
Parking was quite a breeze during lunch. Just have to ask Aruga security on where to park.
There were 4 of us and we were able to use all our Gold perks! So we had 8 dishes, it was a feast!
Truffle pasta was the best of all the dishes! Salpicao was scrumptious together with the mushrooms it was served with. We also had sisig spaghetti, it was tastefully made, something for those who love the sisig dish. I also liked the pork adobo dish.
Also, the place is cold! Bring a blazer.
I died with their ube cheesecake. Melts so good in your mouth with all the flavors oozing in creaminess. It was soooo good, I bought take out for my friend and ended up eating it too.
Love the ambiance of the cafe! The service was also very good :) Our date night was made better by the food! They also had an appetizer to complement the not-so-long wait for the mains.
Steak and ribs are pretty good! Overall dining experience is great. 😊 We enjoyed the food and the ambience. Thank you Zomato Gold for the 1+1 food.

I love the food at Aruga Cafe. Their portobello duxelle and buffalo balls are really good. Desserts are to die for! My favorite is their creme brulee 😍
We always eat at this restaurant partly because it's near, partly because it has Zomato Gold.
Ive always ordered the same thing - chimichurri chicken with rice pilaf but the side dish can also be mashed potato. The chimichurri is very rich in flavor and the rice pilaf is very delicious. Both complement each other's taste. Today's serving time, however, was amiss. It took them 40 minutes and the orders were incorrect. I calmly and respectfully raised the issue to their supervisor and they admitted that it was on their end (the computer didnt print the order and the orders got mixed up). He, however, apologized and offered some cakes on the house to compensate. Kudos to the supervisor for a good service!

This restaurant seems very expensive, but the prices were actually quite affordable. At P 500 / head you can get an entree already. We tried their recommendation.
The Chimichurri with chicken was tender and flavorful. What I can improve more chicken pls.
Then the Grilled Cheese was good, and tomato soup perfect pair! I wish they gave bigger portions of the side salad.
Aruga cafe has the elegance ,fancy, cozy, luxurious ambiance of a fine dining cafe in a hotel in rockwell. The food is quite pricey as what you would expect for a high end resto. There were no customers just us. The food was okey we enjpyed their best seller but i dont think people would take their time just to visit this place.

Katrina Kuhn-Alcantara has done it again with Aruga Cafe by Mesclun. Unlocking twice for maximum value and enjoyment, we ordered their famous Guava Pork Adobo (P385) and got the Shrimps and Anchovies Flammekeuche (P375, for free). We also got the Ube Cheesecake (P340) and got a free Mesclun Salad (P295). Couldn't believe I only paid a total of P740 for everything we ordered.
The adobo with guava as the souring agent is an enigma. Simple in looks, but packs a wallop in flavor. Be careful, though not to put too much of the sauce into the rice as it is a tad too salty. If you just slice the pork and take it with rice and the provided atchara then it's a flavor spectacle.
The flammekeuche was a bit of a letdown. Having traveled extensively through the Alsatian region last year, I've had my share of flammekeuche or flatbread which is the regional specialty. It is crumbly, crispy and flaky. The one given me today was chewy and aged like day old pizza dough. The toppings were sparse but flavorful.
The salad was superb with goat cheese, parma ham, peaches and walnuts. The greens were fresh and crisp. The drizzle of raspberry vinaigrette ties it all up to a tart, creamy and scrumptious mix.
Their Ube Cheesecake was sublime. It was smooth, rich and delicious. Perfect ending to the meal.

The place is quiet. It is very intimate. The food was great. We ordered their Truffle Pasta and Chimichurri. It is just the right amount of serving. They also give out a free slice of bread together with their own twist of butter.
Great place... Great ambience... Great service... and most specially Great food... we ordered pizza, truffle pasta, mushroom soup and sandwich... all were perfect... their hot garlic bread with garlic butter was amazing too!... truly recommended!
Our server was super friendly and even helped us with our order. He suggested for us to separate our bill so we coulr maximize our B1 T1. B1 T1 doesnt have limitations so you can order the steak and get the ribs for free. SULIT! The truffle pasta and empanaditas are a must order. Definitely coming back!
Had a Christmas lunch with my office buddies here today and used my Zomato Gold for a hefty serving of free Chicken Tikka. A colleague enjoyed her Adobo sa guava while the other was happy with his Chimichuri Chicken. Really love the relaxed atmosphere and comfort even if place is almost full. Order took sometime though to be served.

I live in the Rockwell area, and this is one of my favorite places to have a quiet breakfast or nice lunch with family and friends.
This morning, I had a mushroom, ham and cheese omelette, sausage links and some spinach/watercress, very good and filling... for a power feeder like me, on a Sunday morning it’s good to keep it on the lighter side, lol.
The lunches are excellent as well, as I love their fish and chips and their flat bread pizza... (only on cheat day, lol).
The food is affordable yet pretty sumptuous, and coupled with the friendly service, is why it’s still one of my favorite places to eat in the Rockwell neighborhood.
For a place with a beautifully calm and tasteful ambiance and quality service for a very reasonable price, this place gets a 5 star for me.
I've only started with a Café Mocha and their Carrot Cake. Cafe Mocha has good coffee and enough chocolate thats not sweet and doesn't overpower the coffee, and served with a yummy delicate biscuit all for just P155. The Carrot Cake is definitely a star, hefty slice good for two. Its super moist, balanced, sweet in the right places, and a nice touch of caramel drizzle. Well worth my P257 for one of the better Carrot Cakes I've had. Plus they have free wi-fi!

Great food and worth the price. I highly recommend it. Best place to go if you’re meeting up with somebody and you want to have a good conversation because it’s not too crowded and noisy plus the good food and desserts.
We like going here for a quiet dinner or snack our top choices are buffalo meatballs, their french onion soup, guava pork adobo and ube cheesecake yum! Good service by Wilbert and the rest of the staff 👍🏻👍🏻

I opt to start with why I put only 4 instead of a perfect 5 score. Aruga Cafe is at the ground floor of Aruga, a serviced apartment in Rockwell. The parking for guests who arent checked in is at Basement1 in Edades - and it was extremely confusing. The guards said we needed a parking card and we can get it from the lobby after presenting the receipt from the restaurant but no one gave us a card. I hope the management would consider on improving on this since Aruga Cafe’s food is really good and it would be nice to come back.
We started with the mushroom empanaditas, buffalo balls, and a mushroom soup. I love all of them. They are all very good. For the main, I tried the tenderloin steak with blue cheese, and was also very pleased. Their food is comparable to that with Chef Jessie’s - but twice more affordable - which is why I would love to come back and try the other stuff in their menu, and why I highly recommend it. I think the space is perfect for intimate get-togethers such as baby shower, christening, or even birthdays. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. No reason to not recommend.

Inside Aruga by Rockwell is a quaint and cozy cafe. This spot is relatively quiet and away from the busy mall nearby. Aruga Cafe could be your go to place for studying or business meetings.
My friend and I had a light snack here, had three of their offerings, enough to understand what makes them different. This cafe has a quality spread of their own version of American, Filipino and Italian cuisines.
I enjoyed their boldly flavored Linguine with Truffle Sauce Pasta. Its buzzing taste stays in your mouth long, thanks to its added strong ingredients of portobello mushrooms and shaved Italian grana padano cheese.
For a more filling encounter, we also shared Grilled Vegetable Sandwich. It’s a healthy bite filled with choice portions of eggplant, bell peppers, tomatoes and lettuce, topped with hefty amounts of cream cheese.
Dessert was equally special, a tall glass of Chocolate Mousse. It has a slight bitter sweet touch from dark chocolate taste and its fluffy whipped cream giving it more charm.
Good ambiance and food. The staff are accomodating. Their Chicken tocino, tapa and strawberry super bowl = a must try! I also loved their mushroom soup 💛 Plus, the place is instagram worthy so make sure to take photos!
Food is tasty and just the right proportion. Atmosphere is also very nice. It's a little pricey but based on the ingredients used and the quality of the food I think it's worth the try.
