Enjoyed the 'Pigcit' pancit topped with a few pieces of shrimps. Serving size was good for sharing but can be devoured by one hungry diner if not ordering anything else. Best to pair with the chicken barbecue stick, serving size of this one is quite small considering its expensive price point. The pork tonkatsu with Japanese curry was exception. Very flavorful and tender meat but, again, small in size. Interiors looks homey and provincial. Very cozy and inviting. Recommended.

Really love the freshness of the ingredients as well as the flavors of the food. Really enjoyed the pork belly with kimchi amongst others, the rest of the dishes were okay. But for the pricepoint, good to share with your friends and family.

Good food for a good price! I loved everything that we ordered. Some of my favorites are the Grilled Tamarind Chicken, Truffle Pasta and Kimchi Pork Belly. Definitely offers great value for your money! I also like that they offer cocktails and they’re open until 12mn (would be better if they were open later than that given many folks from the nearby offices leave work at 12mn). Nevertheless, highly recommended!

We eat there a lot during special occasions, anniversary, etc. The food is hearty and good, the portions also give you value for your money... the Pork Belly with Kim-chi Rice is so addictive, I never get tired eating it.... and you got to try their Calamares (the breading is crispy, but the meat inside is tender and springy.... the dipping sauce is also good).

The staff is also ultra friendly and accommodating.

Went here several times with different friends. It has a good ambiance, perfect for a nice dinner and chat with friends over food and some drinks. We always order the group meals because those have good enough servings for everyone to try.

My favorites are the mushroom truffle pasta, crispy pork hoisin, and the truffle fries. The mushroom truffle pasta is very creamy and tasty. The crispy pork hoisin is very flavorful and complex. The truffle fries serving is good enought for 3-4 people to share. It has a mix of crunchy onion strips and is quite similar to poutine which is nice.

Awesome food that packs a real punch! Looking at the reviews we went with the pigpen sampler as it comes with the highly raved about pork belly kimchi and grilled tamarind chicken, this also includes a jug of fruity ice tea. Serving time was quite quick as we were the first customer here just shortly before lunch time.

The food looked promising in vibrant colours and fresh salads as sides. The taste didn't disappoint either as they were all flavoursome; and with pigpen sampler you'll be induced in a whirl of spicy, tangy, creamy, and sweet flavours.

Aside being very convenient to where I live and work, I love their food! When I ordered their salmon which was wrapped with banana leaves, bagoong and with mango salad, it really became addicting for me. I really love their food aside from the salmon. Also, they serve good coffee, have food ambience and very attentive servers.

we've ordered the group meal good for 6 & 4 deal that includes:
European and Asian Salad - my officemates preferred the asian salad than the european because of the dressing
Pork Belly Kimchi - the pork is so tender but the kimchi is not spicy at all
Spaghetti Bolognese - the normal tomato based pasta
Grilled Spring Chicken - very savory and tasty
Crispy Pork Hoisin - this is their bestseller and now know why..we cant describe what they've wrap in the pork but we definitely loved it.
Service is great, the crews were very attentive and friendly.
The place is kinda crowded during our visit, we've reserved a table since we heard that it is always full-packed.
Over-all, experience was great and definitely will come back again to try their other bestsellers.

Actual rating: 3.6

While it was a generally good dining experience, their extremely long service time is disappointing. It took roughly 35 minutes to get our orders served. To be fair, all their dishes are garnished well and they truly looked appetizing.

To be objective though, most of their dishes are a hit or miss. Their crispy pork and hoisin was amazing! The pork was truly crunchy on the outside and tenderly juicy in the inside. I do not know how, but it just doesn't have that part of the pork belly where the meat is just though. The hoisin sauce complimented the dish well, it tasted like sisig with a kick of sweetness. Oh, and by the way, the meat cut was not fatty. That's a huge plus.

The beef shank, mushroom and bone marrow was sad. The serving was super small, plus it was nothing spectacular to begin with. It was just plain ordinary. Kahit sana nilakihan man lang 'yung serving. The beef looked like corned beef. Braised pork shoulder was also nothing extraordinary, just mediocre.

The grilled tamarind chicken was a winner as well! The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The aroma of the lemongrass and coriander truly made the meat flavorful without being too pungent. It was delicious. My friend devoured all the rice that was served with it. She obviously enjoyed it.

We also had the pulled pork cannelloni. While it was said to be one of the best-sellers, it was underwhelming. The cream sauce was not yummy, just plain cream. It would have been better if a little bit more of cheese and butter were added to compliment the "carbonara sauce." The pasta was cooked to perfection. The pulled pork was cooked okay, flavor would have complimented a cheesy-creamy sauce, though it had onions by the way.

For the desserts, dulce de leche praline was the winner. It was like truffle chocolate mouse which was extremely heavy, yet not too sweet. It's a must order. The banana cheesecake was normal, although the cheesecake could be richer in taste. Plus, since they blowtorched the caramelized sugar on the banana, it was kinda hot when served. I hope they could do something about it. Perhaps keep in a high freezer right after the blowtorch? It would be better if served cold.

We had our food to go via Grab. We had the crispy pork with hoisin and the pulled pork canneloni plus some onion rings. 😍

Everything was sinfully delicious. The pulled pork tasted good and the sauce that came with it was nice and creamy. It's no wonder it's a best seller at their place. My boyfriend enjoyed the crispy pork with hoisin tremendously. It was right on point. I also liked how different their onion rings were. Can't wait to actually eat at the restaurant itself. 🤗

Just had a late dinner with friends at Pig Pen in Makati. I’ve been wanting to try this resto ever since i discovered it earlier this year, however there was never a chance. Finally when my friends asked to set a catching up dinner I suggested we try Pig Pen since none of us had tried dining here. So we ordered their combo meals Crispy pork hoisin, breaded pork chop, garlic chicken all comes withe banana cheesecake dessert. We also ordered their best seller Pulled Pork Cannelloni and Dulce Leche.
They have big serving, the pork hoisin and cannelloni are a must try! Dulce leche is really good but too sweet. The place is small, clean and homey. I liked that it’s not too crowded. All the staff are really attentive and nice. I will comeback to try the other dish.

I ate in The PigPen with my family on my birthday, but I would definitely go back with friends!

It’s a hidden gem in the heart of Legaspi Village. A perfect “chibugan” place with your barkada. The cocktails are well concocted to match the food.

Their cocktails can be as simple as a mojito, and as daring as a cocktail with fish sauce in it. It’s definitely a game changer and I would recommend you to try it.

Some memorable dishes would be the squid ink noodles, nachos, the steak and the crispy pork. Every dish was delightfully crafted. Try the other dishes like the kimchi pork, and most importantly their desserts! ❤️

When we went here yesterday, I was kinda cautious because of some of the not-so-good reviews here in Zomato, but our experience was quite pleasant actually.

We ordered their bestsellers (Pulled Pork Canneloni and Crispy Pork & Hoisin) and they're both delicious! My absolute favorite was the canneloni--- pork's very soft, pasta's cooked perfectly, the cheese was just the right amount, and the topping has a nice crunch to it. The only thing I didn't like in the dish was the bread--- it's grilled and most parts are very bitter. They offered me another 2 slices, but only 1 was decent enough to eat. Too bad cos the bread was delicious and complements the dish. I wish they won't grill it so it won't be so bitter. Anyway I also liked the Crispy Pork & Hoisin. It was very flavorful and crunchy. I literally said "wow" when I took a bite. The only issue is I think it's a bit small for the serving--- the generous serving of rice tried to make up for it but it's still obvious.

And since it was a Wednesday, they had a 20% off promo on wines. I thought that would apply to all wines (or at least their cheaper red wines), but turns out it was only for 2 wine-based cocktails. Not really wine. Haha. The sangria I ordered was only P100 so who am I to complain? It was delicious. Not the red wine I was imagining before I got there, but it was okay. Great partner to my canneloni. My bf had a hibiscus iced tea which tasted good also.

Service and ambiance were decent, no complaints :)

So, to summarize, we'd like to come back again to try their other dishes (or to eat that canneloni again!). Maybe the crispy pork is a bit overpriced, but I'd accept the price of the canneloni. It's that good!

PIGPEN
Eton Tower corner Rufino & Dela Rosa Sts.

Feeling unwell that day, I passed by this restaurant curiously. With blank mind and empty stomach, I decided to have my brunch here. BTW the entrance is inside the building.

Only 2 customers were inside when I arrived.

Kind of minimalist style with few paintings, clean and cozy.

Service was good 4.5/5

Since I am single that time, bwahahha I just ordered the following.

CRISPY PORK LOIN WITH HOISIN SAUCE 5/5
I hope this dish will be available in heaven when I die! Hahah I am impressed of how it was cooked to perfection and that crispy thing that serves like a crust. So succelent and delicious, the tenderness that kinda melts in my mouth.

PULLED PORK CARBONARA 4.5/5
This one is also a nerve-racking dish, I was expecting a classic carbonara with pulled pork as garnish, (did not remember the picture on the menu hahah). I think it shoyld be named pulled pork wrapped in pasta ahahha. I Love the sauce, the creamy and buttery taste? But why am I looking for mushrooms? Hahahha I am weird I know.

Will definitely come back here!

I ordered pulled pork canneloni and it was indeed delicious. And claiming it as the restaurant’s specialty was on point. It is a must-try if you’re a pasta lover like me. I usually take my lunch at around 3pm to avoid the crowd (I like eating alone), so dining here was the best choice because of their ambience, perfect-for-selfie-lighting, and music. They play beatles, beach boys, the supremes, elvis, mostly 60’s pop rock, which is pretty cool and relaxing. I still gave them 5 stars, in spite of the gummy ciabatta bread when it got cold, as they have wide food selection. And the best part AND the main reason why I gave them 5 stars, aside from their friendly and accommodating staff, is because of their a Drink all you can wine, all day, everyday for only 550 pesos! And it’s not even a promo. Now, that’s 🍷 heaven.

There was this familiar name. Love the interiors I was here during lunch time and was expecting a full crowd since it was payday. High Ceiling helped a lot have the illusion of a spacious place. Food we had was fulfilling and taste really good. Asian Salad was one of the best seller and if you like those oriental dressing with hoisen and vinegrette you will love this. The grilled porkchop was more like a bacon that a porkchop but did not question it anymore because it was yummy and tender. Prices are on tbe higher end but worth it. Service was good too, staff were well verse of the menu. Don't forget to end your meal with the Yardstick coffees.. Will be back soon

I didnt expect that it was a casual lunch that would bring me to this bastion of gastronomy. For months since Pig Pen has been in my radar and I have been scheming to get a bite here but never had the chance. Lo and behold I drifted here without much intention (errand) and I know what your next question is and the answer is "yes" the Pig Pen hype is real.

I ordered their pork belly kimchi and it was superb. The pork was grilled and smoked to perfection. The Skin had a distinct crisp and the fat that the skin and meat sandwiches dissolves into a rich greasy goo once it touches your palate. Kimchi is probably the last side dish I would order (even if my life depended on it) but their kimchi has made me a true believer a culinary convert if you may. It had that spicy kick without becoming overpowering, it also had that fresh zest that created balance which made the spiciness tolerable. Combined with their signature rice in one bowl, It is a mosaic of complimenting flavors and textures done exceptionally well.

To finish off my meal I ordered their dulce de leche and it was divine. It was a delicate confection that had the right balance of sweetness (dulce de leche is known for being overly sweet at times) and sugary layered textures that further enhanced your last course experience.

The service was fast and prompt, the sampler of sorts I took now piqued my interest of trying every best seller in their menu.

Decided to try something new for our lunch date one Sunday and stumbled upon The Pig Pen on Zomato. I was intrigued by the 4.3 rating it had and the reviews people left about it. So we gave it a try and found that it was tucked away in a building in Legazpi; gave it a cozy vibe. The interior was very clean and well lit. That was good 👌

Taking recos from reviews, we decided to order the Truffle fries (210) as starter, and boy it was amazeballs for its price. 👌👌 We are cheese and fries lover so this was really a treat! It had strings of onion which added to the flavorful goodness. We wanted to try papadums nachos but since we were in the mood for fries, we got this instead.

For our main, my boyfriend got the Fried pork & Hoisin rice plate and I got the Pulled pork canneloni. My boyfriend enjoyed the pork hoisin and the good portion of rice it came with. It was really tasty and sweet, but just the right amount of sweet. For the pulled pork canneloni, I guess I'm just not the pork barbeque kind of person, and I was expecting it to be pasta enough but it was not. Not the same canneloni experience I had. This made me ask for salt. It came in 4 rolls, I only had 2 and we had the other 2 for take out. While we were eating, the server gave us a scoop of their salted caramel ice cream, a complimentary treat from them. We were shookt haha. We really did not know why we got that freebie, but thank you because it was good as well! But we were not able ro order the Dulce praline thingu because we already got the sweet treat.

The service was on point, they were really accommodating :)

Over all, we really enjoyed our lunch here. I just wasn't a fan of the pulled pork flavor.. Will we come back, for a drink and truffle fries and to try the Papadum nachos :)

Place: 10/10. Small place but designed well. Industrial/rustic/classy feel to it. Comfortable couches. The bar was looking sleek.

Food 9/10: Tasty. Big portions. It was a bit salty tho, but it's okay. The salad tasted nice and light. Good for appetizer. The main courses were large and the plates were all full. The dessert was what made my experience stood out. Their dessert (see photo below) that dessert was the bomb. Go taste it homies.

Service 10/10: Polite. Kind. Very nice to talk to. Fast and attentive.

The beef papadums were the clear winner during our visit at The Pigpen. We loved it so much we wanted to try the other papadum nachos on the menu (pork and sisig).

Apart from the papadum nachos, we also had the pulled pork cannelloni and pork belly kimchi. Both dishes tasted alright, although a little too expensive for the volume.

We would’ve liked to have more kimchi with the pork belly. The one bite of kimchi serving that cane with the dish didn’t do justice to pork belly kimchi. Let’s have more of the kimchi when it’s highlighted on the dish’s name.

We would come back for the papadums, but not much else.

I've been wanting to leave a review for a while but only now have the time. I met up with a few friends in Makati a couple of months ago and we decided to try out the Pig Pen for a late dinner. Entering the establishment, it has a nice modern feel to it with accent lights and well placed tables. The bar is to the right but we decided to sit on the couches. The staff and manager were very friendly and greeted us right away.  We decided on an array of dishes to try:

Truffle Fries - Crisp potato fries, poutine-style. I loved the crispness with just the right amount of cheese sauce to go with it. I imagine this would go very well with an ice cold beer or a light cocktail.

Mushroom and Truffle Soup - Mushrooms are not for everyone, but this soup sure has all the flavors of an authentic truffle soup. I've tasted watered down versions in other establishments, but this soup was thick, rich, and bursting with the flavor of the mushroom.

Crispy Pork and Hoisin - This dish was so pretty I could just stare at it all day. The pork is wrapped in crisp potato (?) and arranged in a line. It was served with a hoisin based sauce. I love pork sisig, and the twist they put on a Filipino classic was incredible.

Grilled Tamarind Chicken - This was one of my favorites! The cook on the chicken was even all throughout. I loved the marinade on it, a bit sweetish with the right amount of spices, well paired with a papaya side salad. It didn't need any dipping sauces, the chicken in itself was divine.

Pigpen Fried Chicken - I love my fried chicken, so I was anticipating this one too. We ordered 2 pieces, the skin was nice and crispy, the meat juicy and soft. It was tasty, just like how I like my chicken.

Mac and cheese - My friend is in love with cheese, so we had to order this one. It was very cheesy, not too salty, the bread served with it was really good too. My friend said he could go back to this restaurant and just eat the mac and cheese again and again. It was that good.

I was pleasantly surprised by the serving portions! We ordered enough food for twice the size of our group of 3. We also ordered a couple of their drinks, Gin Cucumber and Calamansi Mojito. Both were refreshing. We could taste the alcohol but the other ingredients of the cocktail made them very smooth to take down. We had a great experience, and due to our hunger didn't even have the time to take photos. Lol.

Overall, the Pig Pen is definitely a bang for the buck restaurant. Good ambiance, great food. Definitely a must try.

Their Crispy Pork Hoisin and Pork Belly Kimchi were a delicious steal at 380 php. This place could've easily justified placing itself in the 500-700 php range, but most of their dishes are under 500! For our annual Christmas lunch, I ordered their Crispy Pork Kimchi. The rice bowl had a visually appetizing appeal. Colors complemented really well and smelled heaven.

The pork cuts were lean; less fat. The crunchy pork skin was topped with a Sriracha-like sauce which was tangy and sweet. The shredded crispy onion flakes and soft boiled egg were also welcoming ingredients to the dish. When mixed well, the flavors were really delicious.

My only complaint would be to serve their rice bowls warmer. Service was commendable. Comfort room was kept clean as well.

Would definitely go back. 😊

What we tried:
• Sisig Papadum (Indian Tortilla) Nachos
• Pork Belly Kimchi
- rice bowl with kimchi, fried onions, pickles, shredded cabbage, hard boiled egg, and pork belly
• Grilled Tamarind Chicken
- rice plate with green mango salad and anato (rice)
• Salted Caramel Ice Cream with Oreo

Great Points:
- tenderness of pork belly and chicken
- reasonable price
- spacious
- accommodating staff
- fast service

For Improvement:
- lessen use of oil in dishes

Awesome Point: They gave us a complimentary dessert without knowing the reason why. The ice cream’s thick and yes it’s good!

So I was looking around for a new spot for lunch. Well this restaurant is not really new, it's been there like forever but I just don't pay attention to it. I always see it wherever I'm going to Dean & Deluca and finally I tried it. First the ambiance was very chic and classy. I'm their only customer that time since it's a late lunch on a weekday so it's not a surprise. I ordered their pork chop solo plate. The taste was amazing and it's worth the price BUT the servings is kinda small for me. I expected a little bit more, so it end up that I'm still hungry or maybe I just didn't ordered their signature dishes. The service was amazing too, I hope when I come back the servings will be better.

I don't usually go out of my way on a weekday to Makati CBD for foodie meet-ups (traffic!) but after a quick digging online to find more about Pig Pen, I just had to go. And yes, they've proven that they're worth it. I arrived around 11:00 AM, saw a few tables inside occupied and it had that perfect natural light coming in from the glass panels on one side. Co-owner Berna Garriz was also there to guide us throughout our Pig Pen dining experience.

The restaurant albeit small was elegant and inviting. It's like one of those restos usually seen in TV shows that's just around the corner from the office where you meet your friends for a quick lunch or after-work drinks. Something like that. The interiors are sleek and predominantly wood so it gives off that relaxed, easygoing vibe.

Their menu showcased Asian and European dishes with added wonderful twists. I was expecting a lot of pork-based dishes because of their name but there's nachos and dumplings and noodles and chicken and cocktails and more -- yep, there's something for everyone's cravings.

Here are my favorites:

Pork Dumplings. More than the quality of this dish, I was in love with how it was plated. It looked too pretty to eat! Nice colors against a black plate! The thin slices of apple, chopped friend garlic bits that gave a dash of gold and the nice pink of the sliced onion! I really appreciated the details. And it did, in fact, taste as great as it appeared. Loved the texture and flavors of the crispy pork filling covered in apple hoisin sauce. This was definitely something new for me.

Beef Papadum Nachos. I've tried papadum before when I had an Indian meal but never really imagined it to be used as substituted for tortilla chips, and wow, it really worked. This East-meets-West dish was one of the highlights of the day. Crispy, crunchy papadum topped with flavorful beef and chopped tomatoes with honey mustard or mayo! Could you imagine all the flavors happening with every bite? It was really, really good and addictive. Please order this when you pay them a visit.

Beef Brisket Bowl. Another beautiful dish we got here. The meat was slow-cooked in lemongrass, mint, calamansi and fish sauce. Super tender and delicious and perfect with rice. It had that balance of savory and sour that just hits you in the right places. I really enjoyed this one.

Pork Belly Kimchi. Once again, another well-presented dish. Those doing it for the 'Gram will be excited by the sight of this. The golden fried pork belly slices were served in a long plate and was slathered with red orange kimchi sauce. What a stunner. The sour-spicy kimchi sauce was the perfect complement to the juicy and tender meat. It had that heat and tang to it so the pork wouldn't be 'nakakaumay.' Order this with rice!

Chistorra Sausage. Chistorra is a cured sausage originating from Spain, we were told. I gravitated towards this dish because it looked like something I'd dig in to for breakfast! The chistorra had a salty-smokey flavor to it that was rounded off with a heaping bowl of Pig Pen's garlic calamansi rice, plus a nice sunny side up egg. A nice and filling mix and match of flavors.

Dulce de Leche Praline. Visually, another 10/10 for me. When it was served to our table, my eyes went all heart-shaped and I had to snatch it away first from everyone so I can photograph it the way it deserves. Hahaha. I would like to think I did a good job. Anyway, I'm a big fan of dulce de leche so I was bound to try this one way or another. The outside was an indulgent, luscious coating of milky chocolate, the inside was chewy and fudgey layers of cream, nuts and caramel. A great way to end our meal!

The other dishes that were to served to us were: Pulled pork canneloni, Longganisa, dried fish and egg, Truffle fries, Grilled tamarind chicken, Grilled porkchop, Crispy pork hoisin (this is a runner up!), Lamb shoulder and Mushroom truffle (another runner up). Other desserts were the Black rice with mango and banana cheesecake. For the drinks, we had the Aperol spritz, Pig Pen mojito and Tamarind pisco. Skipped on these and had the Blueberry pomegranate with basil which was something new and refreshing!

Such amazing and wonderful dishes for their price point! I will never get over how all the dishes were presented, just goes to show how they handle each and every plate with effort and care. Can't beat that kind of attention to detail! I highly recommend this place whatever the occasion might be. I could definitely imagine myself sitting on a stool by their wine bar just people watching on a Friday afternoon while enjoying my Pig Pen frozen margarita, waiting for my friends. If only I lived in Makati! Haha!

I literally felt at home at The Pigpen. I pigged out! Pun intended.

The Pigpen was one of those places I dare not get into for fear of the steep prices of the food. It's so near our office but I haven't visited this restaurant yet.

The Pigpen looks classy, modern and quite chic, I must say. It's an offshoot of The Black Pig, another classy restaurant based off the South of Manila. The Pigpen is sort of the baby, and caters more to young urban professionals given its location.

First off the menu is the Beef Papadum, their take on nachos but I must say this is a tastier version. They used Indian-inspired tortillas or papadum topped with meat, greens and tomatoes. Very beefy flavor which contrasted perfectly with the crisp of the papadum. For just P200, this makes for a great starter or as a beer match.

I also enjoyed the Pork Dumplings (P180). This time, they had a Chinese take on the humble sisig. Each well-cooked dumpling is filled with sisig! Yes! I must say this was one of their well-thought-out dishes.

Another of our favorites was the Truffle Fries (P200). You could definitely hear the excitement at the table when this was presented to us. The platter was a complete eye-candy, filled to the brim with fries and chips topped with cheese and ground beef. Flavorful indeed!

The spread was definitely full of The Pigpen's bestsellers. The owner, Ms. Berna Garriz, wowed us with stories of how she envisioned the dishes to be fusion of Asian inspirations and well-loved Pinoy favorites.

One of my favorites was the Pork Belly Kimchi (P350). Although I feel the price is a little too steep for the portioning, I stil enjoyed this one. I am not really a fan of kimchi but the spicy sour kick of the kimchi made this more appetizing. I wanted rice so bad! Hahaha

Crispy Pork and Hoisin (P350) was also a treat. You wouldn't believe that's sisig inside those heavenly rolls of deep-fried potato strips, best dipped in the accompanying hoisin sauce. I like that they did not drench the rolls in the sauce itself, as that might make the potatoes soggy. This is classic sisig with a sweet salty Oriental twist!

They also have their version of the much-enjoyed Inasal - the Grilled Tamarind Chicken. These are carefully selected fillet cuts of chicken marinated in lemongrass, coriander, black peppercorns and served with tamarind and chives sauces. This was one of the prettiest dishes on the spread! And also, noteworthy for its tenderness and flavor.

The Pulled Pork Canneloni is just rich and savory. Small pasta shells filled with pulled pork flavored with spices and drenched in a an equally rich bechamel sauce.

What's a meal without pasta? Their Mushroom Truffle Pasta is also a big hit. One forkful of this will send you to overdrive. The delicate truffle taste, the creamy sauce and the al dente noodles all married together to form this masterpiece. I wish they serve this in bigger portions! I won't mind sharing then.

Chistorra Sausage is a meaty concotion from the Basque regions of Spain. This one was served in a bed of greens, a soft taco shell, and made even more flavorful with Sriracha sauce.

There were also Grilled Porkchops, Beef Brisket, as well as breakfast favorites like the Longganisa, Dilis and Egg.

We ended the meal in the sweetest way possible, with 3 of The Pigpen's decadent dessert offerings. First is the Dulce de Leche Praline. This one looked like a big Twix bar, with the chocolate encasing the chewy layers inside. There was also the Banana Cheesecake, definitely an interesting dessert because seldom do you hear about bananas in a cheesecake, right? The salty cheese balanced out the caramelized bananas very beautifully. Lastly, there is Black Rice and Mango. I feel this was an homage to thw humble biko or suman, with the mango on top as highlight. Very unassuming but quite tasty! You can finish a bowl, I bet!

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with The Pigpen. It gives off a classy, upscale whiff when viewed outside, a somewhat threathening quality. But once you go inside, it's fun, fresh and chill. I think I've found my go-to spot right in the heart of the CBD. Prices are spot on and every dish is worth every peso. I plan to go back and enjoy more of their food, and down a few of their virgin (and not so virgin) cocktails after work. Care to join me? :)

There's a lot go-to retaurants in Makati and The PigPen is one of them and should be added on your list. Lucky enough for me as it is near the office, I returned to this hive couple of times and I must say, the dish we had still at par with what we tried before. Except for Pulled Pork Cannelloni which I think was a lot creamier during my first visit. Nonetheless, everything was good. Started with the Coffee Latte which was from Yardstick. It jump-started my day.

Here's what we tried:

Beef Papadum - Instead of the usual nacho chips, they served it with indian tortilla to which was thin and crisp. The beef was flavored perfectly paired with honey mustard and mayonnaise.

Truffle Fries - This smells so good, well, truffle. Strips of fries and onions were mixed together drizzled with cheese sauce and gravy poutine style.

Pork Dumpling - Tasted exactly like Sisig wrapped in wanton wrapper. It has fresh apples and hoisin sauce to balance the saltyness and sweetness of Sisig.

Pulled Pork Cannelloni - One of their best dish, in my opinion. The pork strips were tender and it has that thick carbonara sauce which made this dish an instant favorite. Pulled pork never tasted this good. I just wish they'd be consistent with the carbonara sauce though.

Longganisa, Dried Fish and Egg - Sliced Longganisa tasted a bit garlicky which is what I want in a Longganisa.

Lamb Shoulder - Fall of the bone tenderness.  The sauce blended well with the meat.

Grilled Tamarind Chicken - You can never go wrong with this one. Very juicy and the baste was just amazing.

Grilled Porkchop - Delicious but I find it a bit dry though.

Mushroom Trufle Pasta - Al dente and creamy.  I can eat this all day.

Pork Belly Kimchi - The crispiness of the pork topped with Kimchi sauce tasted so good together.

For dessert, I liked their Banana Cheesecake and Dulce de Leche Praline, but what stood out the most for me was their Black Rice Mango.  The crisp bits of rice and the sweetness of mango altogether made this dessert addicting and memorable.

Overall experience with The Pigpen made this restaurant a go to places in Makati for me.  Highly recommended.

The food was great. Excellent service from their bar. Although we did not reserve beforehand, we got a seat in their bar which was (for me) great for casual dates. Have to give props to their bar tender who gave us his honest personal take on the menu.

The Pig Pen is a restaurant located at Legaspi Village, Makati City. My first impression of it is that it only offers or prides itself with dishes made of pork, given its name, but I was terribly wrong. The Pig Pen offers a wide range of food selections, and we were able to try a bunch of them as we embarked in a gastronomic eatsperience in this restaurant.

Last weekend Pig Pen graciously hosted Team Kaladkarin for a sponsored lunch event and it was epicly good! Pig Pen is just located in Eton Tower in Ruffino Makati. So near our office yet haven't tried it. At 1st look Pig Pen might look intimidating with its classy look but was surprised that their meal aren't that too expensive. They also got wide range of dishes that are good for breakfast to inuman session. They even have some good coffee here. Awesome!

For the dishes here are the one we got to try:
🐽Papadum Nachos (200PHP) - we got to try to version of this the sisig and beef version. I love that they use indian tortilla for their nachos. It gave a nice unique texture to its crunch. Both the sisig and beef version were yummy and was beautifully served.

🐽Pulled Pork Cannelloni (290PHP) - Pasta filled with delicious tender pulled pork with yummy carbonara sauce. This one is a winner. Love the combination of the fresh pasta and tender meat.

🐽Pork Dumplings (180PHP) - this one is a great recreation of our fave pork dumplings. Pimping it with apple hoisin and garlic alioli. This gave the dumpling a new level of twist to its flavor.

🐽Pork Belly Kimchi (350PHP) - another dish that they gave a nice twist. Juicy pork belly with the spicyness of Kimchi. Love it!

🐽Grilled Tamarind Chicken (380PHP) - Chicken BBQ packed with flavor! Love the blend of spices of lemongrass, coriander and black peppercorn. A dip in the Tamarind and chives sauce and its perfect! I think this one is sulit 4sticks of quarter chicken for its 380PHP not bad!

🐽Beef Shank, Mushroom and Bone Marrow (420PHP) - this one is something that I would love too pair alcohol. Something that I love to munch on and doesn't have that putok batok kind of feel.

🐽Shrimp and Squid Ink Noodles (490PHP) - I love the texture of their pasta different from the usual pasta you get from other resto. Learned that it was glutten free that's why it got different kind of texture and I like it. The Squid ink wasn't also overpowering while the shrimp and japanese roe gave the noodles a delicious flavor.

🐽Mushroom Truffle - A crowd fave. Secret word Truffle. Hahaha.

🐽Crispy Pork Hoisin (350PHP) - my fave of all the dishes. They have recreated their best selling crispy pork by gaving it a delicious crunch to it. Yummy perfect crunch and tender meat in the inside.

🐽Asian Salad (290PHP/Solo and 480PHP/Sharing) - was surprised to learn that what we got was the solo size because the size was big enough to be shared by 3-4pax. Their salad also got an organic and non-organic version depending on your choice. Love this refreshing salad.

🐽Longanisa Dried Fish and Egg - we got to sample their breakfast and I love the combo of this longanisa and dried fish. Something that is a great way to start your day.

🐽10/10 (190PHP)- For my cocktail I got this 10/10. Named 10/10 because it was perfectly good. Mixed by the people behind curator. Swabe and love that you can taste the alcohol in it.

Dessert:
🐽Black Rice with Mango (190PHP) - it was like a champorado with sweet mango on top. Love this one.

🐽Banana Cheesecake (150PHP) and Dulce De Leche Praline (190PHP) - both this dessert was my fave. I love the well balance flavor and a great sweet ending to our awesome lunch.

Overall Pig Pen is a place that you can keep on coming back and never get out of option to what new dish you want to try. Everything in the menu was worth a try. Solo Rice bowl/Plate is also just around 280-290PHP not bad for a classy looking place. They also got group meal for 4pax ranging from 1100-1500PHP and for 6pax ranging from 1760-2400PHP. Great deal!

I could define The Pigpen is the kind of restaurant wherein there's no wrong order, literally. Every dish is as uniquely good and non comparable to every dish they have, a trait they have deserving of a 5 star rating. I would recommend it to friends in makati, in fact I returned to it 3 days after my first experience.

We had a plethora of delicious food particularly the Pulled Pork Canneloni (P290), Longganisa,Dried Fish & egg(P290), Chistorra Sausage (P380), Pork Dumplings (P180), Truffle Fries(P200), Beef Papadum(P200), Pork Belly Kimchi (P350), Grilled Tamarind Chicken (P380), Grilled Porkchop(P490), Beef Brisket Bowl(P290), Lamb Shoulder Solo (P450), Mushroom Truffle Pasta(P290), Tacos(Off menu /new), Beef shank, Mushroom and bone Marrow(P420). We also had desserts which were the Dulce de Leche Praline(P190), Black Rice Mango(P190), and Banana Cheesecake(P150). For the drinks I asked myself for an amoretto Sour but they were out of amoretto so I had a bourbon Sour instead, also had the Bundaberg Ginger beer with no Alcohol. On my second visit my friend had the Coke Zero Rhum and I had curator's cocktail Sarsi

Started with the Pork Dumpling, I loved the incorporation of apples and the filling of sisig in the dumpling. A strong spicy taste together with the umami is the first experience I got on my first bite together with the crunchiness with the apple. Next was the pulled pork canneloni, crispy deep friend canneloni was wrapped in pulled pork resembling to the taste of Delimondo and the distinctive part was the combination of the soy sauce to the canneloni, a filipino tasty treat.

Next were some longganisa and Chistorra sausage, the small pieces of longganisa were very savory and the sausage had oozing cheese and was a bit peppery. For appetizers we had Truffle fries, Truffle oil was evident with every fry i got and the toppings were generously cheesy and meaty as well. The Beef Brisket Bowl was thinly sliced and soaked in vinegar on top of rice and onions. A good tasty and sour beef brisket that unlocks a sour umami.

The Pork belly kimchi is one of my favorites, perfectly crispy and tender pork belly with fermented kimchi on the meat part. The spicyness of the kimchi was a perfect pairing to the perfection of the pork belly.

My friend's favorite which was the Grilled Tamarind Chicken was oddly delicious, a combination of sweet, sour and impeccable umami. The lamb shoulder was a melt in your mouth experience due to the fall off the bone tenderness of the meat. I would compare it as a next level pata tim slathered in their own secret sauce. The Mushroom truffle pasta was also good. Drowning in truffle oil and bacon bits it's a definite winner for me.
On my 2nd visit the owner gave us complementary tacos that's on its experimental phase with different fillings inside them, I tasted pulled pork, beef, and sisig. I liked the diversity of the tacos and hope that it would be a regular in their menu.
The night's Highlight was the beef shank even if I was so full. I was still able to finish it. Comparing to the other restaurants that serve bone marrow it doesn't give you a heart attack that much. The beef was evident mixed with the mushroom and bone marrow. A definite must try!

For the drinks, I especially loved how Curator has trained them to make cocktail so well and for cheap I specially liked my bourbon sour and the sarsi I had next. They're also selling Bundaberg non-alcoholic Ginger beer which I tried the first time and loved it!

The literal icing on top were the desserts! Man where they impeccably delicious and sweet. A sweet tooth sucker like me would live and die for their desserts. The Dulce de leche looked like a big twix bar. but way better than it. It's chewy that then gives you a ride to the sweet train as you chew. The banana cheesecake was also marvelous the cheese was delicately sweet taste complementing with the savory caramelized banana slices. Lastly was the Black rice with Mango, a twist on the filipino champorado and instead of dilis they used green mango. The black rice together with the milk was both healthy and satisfyingly sweet. Would order it again.

Ambiance was chill and you could feel a bit of class yet remain humbly a sociable place. On my 2nd visit they had a band playing psycho tropical beats which I found enjoyable.

Favorites: Pork Dumpling, Beef shank, Pork belly kimchi, Truffle pasta, Dulce de leche, banana cheesecake, black rice mango, truffle fries, Tamarind kitchen, Bourbon sour. Tacos

Food 5/5- by far their is no wrong order! Definitely would come back
Service 4/5- Service was prompt although on my 2nd visit the food took a bit longer but we were informed on what was happening and it really takes a while for them to perfect their dishes.
Price 4.5/5- For a place that gives perfection in every dish it's price good. On my 2nd visit I had a total of 2.6k for the bill with 6 dishes and 5 drinks it's not a bad deal.
Ambiance 5/5 - Well lit in the morning and ambiant and chill in the evening.

Now here is a great place to dine at the heart of Makati Business District. The Pigpen is one of the newest restaurants that you will find very modern yet classy and vibrant because of the unique decorations and furnishings. The concept of the restaurant is to bring out a great combination of European and Asian cuisine that are delicious and affordable so that everyone can try.

For starters, we had some of the bar bites like the Beef Papadum Nachos which is one of my favorites, they are using indian tortilla that's why it was slightly different, and it is just loaded with beefy flavor and a little bit of a spice. Pork Dumplings are great, quite heavy already but still delicious and also the Truffle Fries are really good, oozing with cheese and bits of meat and it is best served hot. Another we had is the Mushroom Truffle Pasta that is very rich and creamy. It is quite affordable for a truffle infused pasta. A must try.

Although there's so much on the list that you can try. We had the following Pigpen Signature Dishes: Crispy Pork and Hoisin, Pork Belly Kimchi, Chistorra Sausage, Lamb shoulder, Grilled Porkchop, Beef Brisket, Grilled Tamarind Chicken. My favorite would have been the Pork Belly Kimchi and the Grilled Tamarind Chicken. Both have distinct flavors. The piquant taste of Kimchi with that sinful pork belly is just amazing and the Pork Belly is soft and luscious. The chicken is smokey and slight sour but it was just perfect for me. I didn't even had the sauce coz the chicken meat itself is good. Everything else we had on their specialties are equally delicious so go check them out as well.

The sweet things are great endings on each course so we didn't miss their offerings. We had the black rice with mango, dulce de leche praline, and the banana cheesecake. Dulce the Leche is the bomb! I just love everybite of it. It is milky chocolatey delicious. A terrific healthy dessert would be the black rice with mango. I thought it was like a chocolate porridge but it was different yet I still loved it. Banana cheesecake is so nice as well, I could eat the whole thing!

Overall, I really had a great experience at the Pigpen. I literally pigged-out from the the scrumptious feast on the table. The place is awesome, food is mouthwatering and affordable, the service is great. Definitely worth coming back for. Kudos!

You need to eat here ASAP.

Product: The Pigpen, opens at early in the morning for those who need to eat breakfast and closes late at night for those who are looking to spend their happy hour/s. And let me tell you, they are another restaurant worthy of the 5.0 rating. Not one thing we had was wasted because we all couldn't get enough of each dish. It is a place you will surely pay more than one visit to. Take my word for it.

We had the following scrumptious dishes:

Pulled Pork Canneloni (Php 290.00): Pulled Pork wrapped in deep fried Cannelloni pasta. The pulled pork reminded me of crispy pata, this would go so good in soy sauce and as a Filipino, I would love this with a cup of rice as well.

Longganisa, Dried Fish & Egg (Php 290.00): Small pieces of longganisa and dilis, with fried rice and sunny side up egg. I'm glad the longganisa doesn't have the strong taste that some types usually do because the lightness combines really well with the dried fish and silog.

Chistorra Sausage (Php 380.00): Sausage bits with CHEESE. Enough said.

Pork Dumplings (Php 180.00): Now, this one is really different. The pork inside the dumplings are sisig! There's a strong taste to it that maybe overwhelming for others but just enough for me. Plus, I really love sisig so, even just by hearing about it, I already love it.

Truffle Fries (Php 200.00): Even their fries is different among the others. It is made up of regular fries and deep fried crispy chips, topped with melted cheese and grated cheese, along with bits of beef. We all couldn't get enough of it. This would make a great appetizer.

Beef Papadum (Php 200.00): This is their Nachos, rich with beef rather than cheese or sauce which is so lovely to my eyes. The cheese is located on the middle for you to dip in. I love how thin the nacho chips were yet they were still so crunchy.

Pork Belly Kimchi (Php 350.00): OMG. Lechon Kawali topped with Kimchi Sauce, this is the first time I actually fell in love with Kimchi and also the first time I didn't need "Mang Tomas" with my lechon lol. This is just top notch creation right here.

Grilled Tamarind Chicken (Php 380.00): Upon hearing the tamarind, I immediately thought it was going to be really sour, but it wasn't. It was just the right amount of sour, sweet, and savory. And they also use red meat for those who don't like white meat like me.

Grilled Porkchop (Php 490.00): This delicious dish we're all familiar with is good enough for sharing, probably enough for 4 people if you're gonna order more dishes.

Beef Brisket Bowl (Php 290.00): This one is a rice bowl topped with beef brisket. Perfect for your lunch break cravings. The beef is very tender and thinly sliced.

Lamb Shoulder Solo (Php 450.00): The lamb almost melts in your mouth because of how tender it is. You will also love to know that they do not shy away from the sauce which the lamb is generously covered with.

Mushroom Truffle (Php 290.00): The truffle pasta had a light taste that helps reduce the "umay" factor of a dish. The noodles were also quite firm and the serving is also probably good for 2-3 people, maybe more.

For desserts we had:

Dulce de Leche Praline (Php 190.00): This chocolate block-looking dish contains a rich amount of caramel sauce inside that will make you fall in love in your first bite and if you really love sweets, you might not want to share this.

Black Rice Mango (Php 190.00): At first we were really curious what the black rice was but it was our favorite cold weather dish, champorado! But here's what makes it special, the chocolate they use. I expected it to taste like cocoa because that's what we were used to but wow, it is so much more better than that. I really loved it and I wish I could learn the recipe and make one at home tbh. This would make such a great comfort food during rainy days.

Banana Cheesecake (Php 150.00): This one is quite new to our taste and we definitely loved it. The cheesecake wasn't too "cheesy" in a good way because it gave enough room for the banana flavor to blend in with the cheesecake which will make you love it even more. The smoothness of the cheese is also quite pleasing to the eyes.

Venue: The Pigpen is located just behind the main branch of BPI in Makati, inside Eton Towers Makati. So if you work nearby or just happening to be processing your atm card, I suggest you stop by because trust me. You will miss out on a lot by not trying them out. The crew were also friendly and attentive, I would like to appreciate how quick the service is here too. My request arrived within a few minutes of asking for it. I think that says a lot because Makati is a really busy place so, fast service is a must for restaurants here and Pigpen passed that need with flying colors.

The PigPen. Eating here is a feast of flavor, color, and texture. I am grateful to have enjoyed these dishes listed below. I think they are an important part of the overall experience at The PigPen.

Truffle Fries (P200)
Cheesy, meaty, crunchy. Those are the three words I use to describe these fries. I enjoyed the ground beef and the warm cheese sauce that sticks to each fry.

Beef Papadum (P200)
This is the PigPen's take on the classic nacho platter. Instead of using tortilla chips, the Indian papadum flatbread is used instead. Each chip comes loaded with ground meat, cilantro, and tomatoes. The plate also comes with a bowl of cheese dip for maximum flavor.

Chistorra Sausage (P380)
A great breakfast option. The sausages, while small, are peppery and go well with the fried egg and garlic rice. A great taste of Spain within the Metro.

Beef Brisket Bowl (P290)
A surprisingly awesome dish. The beef brisket is sliced almost paper thin and layered on top of hot rice with onions and other vegetables. The whole thing is soaked generously with vinegar, so there is no need for additional condiments. This sour masterpiece brought a big smile to my face, because all the flavors blended well and were not overwhelming.

Pork Belly Kimchi (P350)
Neatly-cut pork belly with a healthy smothering of bright red gochujang sauce on top. The familiar salty taste of the pork leads to the spicy kick of gochujang. Best paired with a nice cold drink, alcoholic or otherwise.

Grilled Tamarind Chicken (P380)
My favorite among the mains. This is not overly bitter; it only has hits of sour and bitter that follow the initial smoky taste. Best paired with a lot of rice because they are worth bingeing on.

Black Rice with Mango (P190)
The PigPen's twist on champorado (rice porridge with chocolate). Instead of using a salty, dried fish, sliced ripe mangoes are used. The dessert is sweeter but not overly so, so anyone looking for dessert can enjoy this.

Dulce de Leche Praline (P190)
This is a sweet and creamy way to end a meal, with the praline looking like a candy bar smothered in caramel. Like a candy bar, it is chewy and mild before leading to the sweet dulce de leche.

Banana Cheesecake (P150)
While the came itself is thin, it is packed with flavor. I especially enjoyed the caramelized bananas on top; they gave a slight bitter taste to contrast the sweetness of the cheesecake. This is my favorite among the desserts.

What do you know? A "Pig Pen" for our "piggery" and a posh one at that here in Eton Tower Makati.

For those who just followed Pigoutsundays recently, "Piggery" is the collective noun and term of endearment the handsome hubby and I lovingly use in jest and exasperation (?) for our 4 kids on account of their appetites hahaha.

Now that we are done sharing that little tidbit, let me just relate my initial impression of the restaurant. First of all its location was expensive ie right in the middle of CBD corner dela Rosa and V.Rufino Ave ( formerly herrera). From the outside, The Pig Pen looked spanking new. Its black and white sign is simple yet tasteful. Inside the resto, the vibe is the same. It's a pretty classy joint.

One would be forgiven to conclude at first glance, that food and drinks would be expensive here.

Then one would be amazed to discover how considerably reasonably priced the meals here are considering the quality of the food and drinks, the quiet albeit elegant vibe, the outstanding service, etc.

Consider the following meals Pigoutsundays absolutely loved and will go back for :

Beef Papadum P200 - A wonderful take on the ubiquitous beef nachos. Crunchy papadum in place of the nachos. Portion was generous. Can be shared by 2-3 people. Perfect with a bottle or bottles of Bundaberg Ginger Beer or their artisan wine.

Truffle Fries P200 - Again for P200, the portion was generous. Crunchy and delicious. Loved the cheese, truffle and fries. Perfect as starter or pulutan with their formulated cocktails, craft beer or wine

Pork Dumplings P180 or their version of gyoza. Stuffed inside each shell is sisig and aioli garnished with thin slices of apples. Yum! There are just 4 pcs though per order.

Pulled Pork Canneloni P290 - cheese, 4 rolls of canneloni stuffed with pulled pork. Cheesy and meaty goodness.

Longganisa dried fish and eggs P290 - perfect for breakfast or brunch. Again, generous portion. Our piggery would demolish this. Scrumptious and sulit!

Pork Belly Kimchi P350 - This dish looked delicious and tasted divine. The kimchi cut through the richness of the lechon kawali.

Crispy pork and hoisin P350 - Very nice presentation. I love the crunch of the potato . The hoisin marries well with the dish.

Drinks : Order the Tamarind Pisco (P280) and their Bundaberg Ginger Beer. Yum!

Desserts :

Black rice with mango P190 - think champorado with a twist. I loved the contrast of the rich black rice with the sweet mango. Share with 2 or 3 friends if you are on a diet hahaha

Dulce de Leche Praline P190 - looked amazingly delicious. Didnt disappoint. Rich dessert that needs to be shared as well . Perfect paired with caffe latte or americano

Banana Cheesecake P150 - my least favorite among the 3 desserts served but that's just because I love my desserts really saccharine. This one is more subtle in sweetness.

What Pigoutsundays loved less :

Grilled Pork Chop P490 - This was a bit expensive for me considering there were just two pieces of porkchop. I loved the flavor though. Presentation was quite simple as well

Beef brisket bowl P290 - a simple enough dish. It was a bit paler in color than the other dishes served. Somehow paler in flavor too. 3/5

Chistorra Sausage with rice P380- quite good but a bit expensive for me because of the serving. One order comes with rice
. I will just order the Longganisa-fried rice-dilis combo instead of this one.

Lamb shoulder solo P450 - Im not a lamb person.

Summary :

Ambiance 5/5

Location 4.5/5

Service 5/5

Food 4.5/5

Price 4/5

All in all an enjoyable lunch spent with like-minded friends. Thank you to the gracious and gregarious Ms. Berna Garriz (owner) for hosting and zomato for the invite.

A gem of a find in a Makati. Refreshing to discover a new hang out for the family with chill vibe but seriously good food, drinks and coffee. Yay!

Btw, this is actually the second branch of The Pig Pen. The pilot branch is located in Nuvali.

Most definitely bringing the piggery and the handsome hubby here .

Excellent service for a restaurant on soft opening when we dropped by a few weeks back. We ordered group meals (which came with unlimited serving of every Pinoy's favorite: RICE🍚) and loved the sausage platter and mushroom truffle.

Food was excellent and service was solid. Highlights were the pork belly with kimchi and the ribeye steak. Limited wine menu, but the rioja was excellent.

We were walking along Dela Rosa Street when we saw this new restaurant in Eton Towers. The modern-rustic interior design of the restaurant caught our attention plus the chill vibes from outside which will give you eagerness to go inside.

We ordered a group meal for 4 persons. It consists of Asian Salad, Pork Belly Kimchi, Spaghetti Bolognese and Crispy Pork Hoisin. It is "SET A" on their menu.

Asian Salad - It is very piquant which is really good as an appetizer. I love the Mandarin orange and the freshness of the lettuce.

Pork Belly Kimchi - Very tender. I just find it a bit salty maybe because of the kimchi.

Spaghetti Bolognese - It's good. Very meaty and not to saucy.

Crispy Pork Hoisin - This is interesting. It's crispy outside and mushy inside. So far this is my favorite. The sauce adds more flavor.

The serving is actually little... so the tendency is "mabibitin" ka, especially if you will come in hungry like a grizzly bear. Kaya we ordered another meal which is "Beef Brisket". It's flavorful. It is slow-cooked in lemongrass, mint, calamansi and fish sauce.

For the Sweet thing.. we ordered "Banana Cheesecake" and this is heaven! One of the best cheesecakes I've ever tasted. Delicious, creamy, smooth, divine. Yasss!

The service was excellent. Servers are very attentive and accommodating.

Food is a bit steep/pricey but reasonable :)

First time we tried it here yesterday but we went to the Solenad branch. The food was quite tasty and worth it. We got the set D good for four and an additional order of seafood surprise which consisted of squid, shrimp and fish fry(poppers) and fries, and also the mushroom-truffle-bone marrow. All in all the food was ok and the set meal was pretty generous in serving. The only thing that didn't stand out was their pork with kimchi. They should've served it with hoisin or cooked it in hoisin to elevate the taste. Definitely a family place or group dining place.

Amazing food by a chef from a michelin starred restaurant in London. Not easy to find gourmet-like meals and dining experience for a very reasonable price. A good place to hang out after work as well. Some tap beer and nicely blended cocktails to conclude a day's work.

Makati's new hidden gem:

Amazing Asian fusion food for very reasonable price (300-400 PHP per head)! Certainly, one of the best ratio price quality in Makati...

I was expecting a cool grill place, but I couldn't be farther from the truth: Classy food cooked by a chef who has been working for years in a one Michelin Star French restaurant in London. Enough said...

The place is classy and crowded over lunch (no surprise considering the food quality and the price); The service is great, with friendly and knowledgeable staffs.

Try the solo rice bowl with pork shoulder, and the grilled pineapple with coconut/basil ice cream for dessert. To die for...

You still need more convincing? Two words for you: Unlimited Rice!

A must visit! Run there as soon as you can...

Good new resto in Eton Towers along Dela Rosa St in Legaspi Village.

Started off with bar snack Beef Papadum- quite tasty and large - goes well with drinks.

Had a couple of cocktails - Gin Tonic Peach Rosemary was very good. Gin Cucumber seemed to have too much ginger beer.

Asian Salad was zesty with fresh greens, singkamas, orange and boiled eggs. Even the Solo version at Php 220 was large.

For mains we had Pork Belly with Kimchi and Beef Shank Mushroom Bonemarrow. The beef shank was excellent with shaved parmesan. Pork belly was ok
