Topping the already tasty buko pandan with vanilla ice cream made it more heavenly to my palate. The buko shreds were aplenty and crunchy and the pandan-flavored gelos gave it a fresh and more profound flavor. Truly a glass of happiness.
I love Max's since then and now. Whenever am in a bad mood or I want to celebrate something, I always think of Max's first.
The chicken! Ohhh so tender and yummy.
Sinigang n Hipon gives me this "kilig" moment.
Sweet Buko Pandan, always the best dessert.
I will always go back! Not to mention the staff are always smiling and willing to help.
P.S I hope you'll open until 2am... π
Fast delivery and good food.
Today i am so lazy to go out and decided to just order online, i expected to wait long due to the heavy traffic in the area but fortunately max delivered my food earlier than expected. The food is still hot and delicious.

That hefty crispy pata went down on our tummy in a span of minutes! Freshly-cooked and it's quite delextable and tender. The place is small though. The usual good place for some casual dining. π
Working in Ayala ave area has some pros and cons. For a foodie like me, the pros outwieghs the cons. π
The area has some good restos that are open as early as 7am, one of them is the Max's! Who doesnt love a good breakfast, right?!
For some change, we opted not to order their usual breakfast meals we instead had their Sinigang na ulo at tiyan ng salmon, sizzling tofu and their whole spring fried chicken then had their caramel bars for dessert.
The salmon was definitely our favorite and the sizzling tofu was surprisingly good. The chicken though, was dry so it was quite disappointing since we expected it to be as perfect as we remembered them from visits to their other branches.
Chicken disappointment aside, we enjoyed the meal. And i must add that their staff was great and will definitely be back to give the chicken another chance and to try their kare-kare here.
