Maybe the best Risotto Seafood that I tried here in Manila. Complemented it with Spaghetti Con Vongole and a glass of Shiraz. Ended the night with Gelato. Short and quick was our stay but will be definitely back to our neighborhood resto.
Carpacio is one of must try italian restaurant. Amazing lobster soup in carpacio. It was my first time to had this soup. Its really tasty and the smell of the lobster is very impressive
Really good and authentic Italian restaurant in Makati with white table cloth and very efficient service.
Started off with the Insalata Caprese - tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella and basil with olive oil and black pepper. Light and refreshing salad.
Their complimentary breads are very good too.
Followed this up with an appetizer portion of Risotto ai Porcini e Dadolata di Pollo. The Risotto was perfectly al dente and very flavorful with chicken grilled nicely. Next followed an appetizer portion of Alla Palermo. Roasted bell peppers, chili, pine nuts and sundried tomatoes in olive oil, basil and parmesan. Quite a tasty pasta.
We next had the Pizza Margherita - didn't taste as good as it looked, though.
They have an extensive wine and liquor collection. I had Bardolino - a light red wine and my partner had a glass of Prosecco.
The Torta Cioccolato made for a good dessert. Flourless Chocolate cake with roasted hazelnuts. We had this with Caffè Coretto (espresso with a shot of grappa) and a shot of Sambucca. Very satisfying meal!
I called the day before for a reservation but when we arrived around 6pm, they did not have my name on the list but we still got a table. It has a classy ambience and it's very quiet. Servers are very nice and attentive.
We had the carbonara pasta and pesto pasta. Both are good but i one order if alreay good for two (they have a big serving of pasta) unless you order the smaller size. We also tried their pizza and it's very good. It them while they're hot.
Tip: Wear semi formal attire and confirm your reservation before going there
The Italian Restaurant to Help You Close Your Business Deal... or Your Date :)
Appetizer:
Insalata Caprese – Tomatoes, Buffalo Mozarella, and Basil. Doused with extra virgin olive oil and black pepper. The combination of these ingredients makes a very refreshing salad appetizer. I absolutely love the quality of the tomatoes that they have used as it reminded me so much of my stay in Italy. The cheese has a mild flavor which goes well with the slight bitterness of the basil leaves and the strong taste of olive oil.
Main Course
Risotto Ai Porcini E Dadolata Di Pollo – Saffron Rissoto, Funghi Procini, grilled Chicken Breast, Tomatoes and Parmesan. At first sight, you would think that you are looking at a plate that you can easily eat by yourself. I have forgotten however how heavy risotto can be. If you are dining with a friend, I would suggest that you consider sharing this particular course. The chicken had beautiful grill marks on it and was satisfyingly tender. The first thing that I noticed about the risotto was that it was perfectly al dente. They have certainly done this right and I was pleased to know that I have now found a place to go to whenever I am craving for a riso meal. The flavor of the stock that they used is quite prominent and can be tasted with your every bite. As a matter of fact, it has been more than a couple of days now since I have dined in Carpaccio, but I can still clearly remember how this risotto taste like (which is actually making me hungry at this moment).

The Carpaccio Alla Cipriani is their traditional beef carpaccio drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, pepper and parmesan shavings. I never would expected that I would enjoy this dish because I usually prefer cooked beef. But the simple flavor was interesting, a recommended appetizer. Freshly baked bread was served with 3 spreads that went well with the carpaccio.
What I like about this place are:
Good food
Not much people
Easy parking.
I just have 1 issue with them. I fort they were rushing us. They were always picking up the table as if they are telling us to leave the place. In fact it was annoying already. I would understand if this was a fast food resto. But given the price of the dishes, this is far from fast food.
Hope they take out that bad behavior.
Good service and food. They use fresh ingredients and quality ingredients from Europe. Prices may be a bit high but definitely the place to bring clients you want to impress or for a special occasion.
Carpaccio is relatively a fine dining restaurant that specializes in great Italian cuisine. This place is very near Santis and the wine shops in Yakal Street near Mayapis. The interior of this restaurant is very neat and it looks sophisticated. It's actually a very good place for dinner dates or small family gatherings. The salads, pasta and pizzas here are all delicious. Prices of the food here are a bit on the high side. Aside from the great food, service is commendable. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for an Italian restaurant.
Carpaccio Ristorante is an Italian fine dining restaurant located near the wine shops in Yakal Street Makati. I got to try this place when I attended a birthday celebration that was held here. Their menu consists of appetizers, carpaccio, soup, pasta, pizza, risotto, ice cream, coffee and wines. The salad, pasta and risotto here are really good. If you're craving for Italian cuisine, then check out this place.
I had my birthday dinner with my husband and in-laws here. Wonderful ambience - the place is private and comfy, and allowed us to have quality time over dinner. Staff are courteous and very attentive to our needs. Food is good - seafood risotto is fantastic; pesto pasta tastes good but the cream is quite heavy. I was surprised with a lovely birthday cake (on the house) when desserts were served.
Will definitely come back here.
The food here at Carpaccio's is definitely exquisite!
Their risottos, pastas and meat dishes are an absolute bliss..especially their desserts!
It goes without saying that their servers are all courteous, not to mention that Carpaccio celebrated my wife's birthday with us by providing us with a complimentary birthday cake!
If you want to satisfy a craving for Italian delicacies and don't want the hustle of the MBD eateries, Carpaccio at Yakal street is definitely a restaurant to visit!

We all had a variety of their King Prawn. I had something with a light chili marinade paired with cheesy risotto.
The waiters were helpful for first-timers. Although the menu was straightforward: pasta, pizza, risotto or their specialties of steak, king prawns or lamb--depending on what was available. Ü
Great food amd good service, I enjoyed my date so much..
BEST tasting steak i have ever eaten in the Philippines. Of course, since their meat comes from Santi's the country's top delicatessen.
Ate Lina, the manager, makes it a point to chat with everyone and inquire about how their food was. I haven't even started on the food, but they really make you feel important, provide you the best table so long as it's available. Great Service!
Now let's start with their starters. I love the pate and the spreads they serve along with the unlimited bread. They bake their own bread and serve a cheese flavored breadstick. it's a great presentation. Then they serve you an appetizer (just a bite) on the house.
I highly suggest to forgo any other dish if you're going for the steak, because you won't be able to finish it all. I love the rib eye, and when i requested it to be medium rare, they cooked it exactly the way i wanted it. Their T-bone is humongous too. well seasoned, cooked just the way you like.
The pasta is great. need i say more?
The best dessert to try is their sampler, which consists of their tiramisu, trio and strawberry pannacotta. YUM!
One of the best dining experiences, similar to high end hotels, but half the price. (READ: RED of Shangri-La)
