Great breakfast /lunch today. The waffles are great (but they're not Belgian waffles as they claim), but still really good, we got the banana caramel one... Really good. Also the Rib eye Tapa is well marinated and always consistent. The prices are quite high but with its consistency in quality, I am willing to pay it. Thank you guys!

Broccoli soup to die for and so reasonable. I also love their truffle fluffy egg thing in a cast iron. pan. The pancakes also are super fluffy and yummy. A great place to go after mass.
The food was great, a bit pricey and the Prime Rib Tapa that we ordered was not “medium rare” at all. The black truffle pasta serving was too small to be honest. Chili cheese fries were also great and for dessert we ordered the apple pie. Overall the ambiance and food was good.

Usually order the Prime Rib Tapa (Php 530) each time we go here and don't really know why considering that it's too tough to eat. *Toink* Anyway, can't really diss this place because it's one of the few breakfast places available in the area. The pancakes and waffles taste somehow better here compared to its sister company, Pancake House.
Good proportions! Value for money, great taste and great service. We just ate here last night. Though for the clam chowder i think it was a bit pricey but still it tasted great. Would highly recommend. :)

Sunday late lunch to try this place out. Place is situated near the church and a good place to just chill as they offer vast and promising list on their menu.
Ordered blackened chicken and Prime Rib tapa and both are well presented. The chicken was flavored with mexican style from the rice yo its cajun spice. While the beef is oh so yummy.. though, the sweetness was overthrown from the flavor of the steak. But, definitely still tops one of the most tender meat. Good food indeed.
For our dessert, vanilla ice cream with brownie fudge and topped it off with a nespresso.. 'like an icing on the cake!'
Overall this restaurant can be in your go-to-comfort food from their lovely dishes to the very friendly waiters.

I've always known Maple as the breakfast place to go to when in the McKinley Road/San Antonio Plaza area. The place also has that early morning breezy atmosphere, perfect place to hang out before or after hearing mass at the nearby San Antonio de Padua Church. The place boasts of a beautiful, simple interiors. Posh couch sitting on one side of the restaurant for families with kids in tow. Try to have early dinner there to catch the glowing afternoon sun bid goodbye. Although an original concept they also have Pancake House Group favorites on the menu which is a plus, Best Tacos anyone?
We had the following best selling items from Maple's extensive menu.
Arugula Salad - fresh arugula greens serves as the bed of the perfectly poached Egg. Topped with crunchy walnuts and juicy cherry Tomatoes. I love the peppery taste of the arugula. The balsamic reduction has the mild salty sweetness that complimented with the greens.
Eggs Benedict - beautifully plated dish of Eggs on top of a crisp puff Pastry. I love the choice of puff Pastry instead of the Traditional muffin as Maple's choice of Bread. Gives it that light but indulgent feel to the whole dish. The hollandaise sauce is smooth and creamy.
Prime Beef Tapa - a winner priced under 600pesos. Served with two Eggs and a bed of White Rice. The Tapa is soft, flavorful and good enough to share!
Blackened Chicken - soft, Tender Chicken breast on top a bed of flavorful dirty Rice - creole flavors makes this dish appealing to diners who want bold flavors.
Apple Pie w/ Streusel Topping - heavy Apple Pie with soft stewed Apples in a soft flaky Pie crust. The vanilla ice cream scoop adds a cool creaminess to the dessert.
Staff are knowledgeable of their products, they are also friendly and quick on their feet, i appreciate that they kept on refilling my glass of water without me asking. I love the ambiance. The restaurant is placed at the upper level so it is tranquil and not surrounded by people. I love how they innovated with Pancake House food items. I’ve tried one of their soups as well as a side dish and after dining in, I must say it’s worth coming back to.

Mac n Cheese was very good,very cheesy with a pop corn butter taste.

I can say the food prepared here wasn't "tipid" in ingredients. Tried their pasta and pancake and I must say they both really taste so good. And the servings were so huge! Ambiance was good enough though I suggest they should open their branch in a mall instead so that others can try it too. By the way, the price is right for the food you ordered. I was looking forward to trying their soft shell crab only to find out that they don't serve that anymore which was a huge disappointment. Their servings are big particularly their steak. I ordered it medium well and turned out to be dry and tough to chew.
Their choco cookie skillet was divine though. A must try for when you visit. Good for 2 persons so careful when you order your portions, too much may make you a little lightheaded
The first time I ate at Maple was 3 years ago, and I clearly remember how happy I was enjoying my blueberry french toast with a loved one. Fast forward to a light brunch in 2017, the feeling is the same. We wanted something light, so we ordered the fish taco, and oh boy it was goood. Since the chicken with spinach also sounded light, we decided to get it. Only to find out the beneath the chicken & spinach goodness is a serving of the best dirty rice ever! Yeah, we wanted a light meal. But by now, im sure you already know how this all ended. Fell in love with Maple the first time, and in love with them still 😍
Place: Not crowded, has a nice location with clean and attractive decorations. Staff is polite and accommodating.
Food: Carbonara, especially their Black Truffle Pasta is a must-try. All other menus are served in big portions and are all yummy.
Price: It's quite expensive for breakfast but it's all worth it. There are meals that are on budget but if you want to try their bestsellers, you might need to shell out additional cash.

Comfort food with generous serving. It's a place that you'd go to if you just want to chill and chat. Not conducive for meetings because the place is so cramped. Personally loved the blueberry and cream cheese pancakes for its fluffy goodness. For me it's as good as the pancakes at Pancake House. I also loved the Maple Club - four club sandwiches filled with so many toppings. Since it had caramelized onions, the club sandwich was sweet to the taste. I countered that with the fries to keep me from getting sated.
We ordered the Maple House Salad, Black Truffle Pasta, and had them split the Prime Rib Tapa. We liked all the items we ordered, especially the tapa which was quite big and it didn't feel like we had it split to two. The tapa is on the sweeter end so the condiments (which includes vinegar) that came with it was perfect to balance the taste. The solo pasta was creamy and tasty, while the salad was OK. I'm not much of a fan of its dressing but it's not that bad. We finished it as well. Will I go back? Maybe yes, for breakfast. So I can finish one whole tapa dish!

Ordered their blackened chicken and I was suprised how good it was plus I feel that it's really healthy so I didn't feel guilty afterwards. The chicken breast fillet, rice & spinach were so unique. The serving is generous and for its price, I'd say it's worth it. Really something that surprised me.
The maple salad had a yummy, sweet dressing, grape slices, and the generous Pecarino Romano shavings were the crowning glory. (I thought there were supposed to be glazed nuts, too, but they really weren't missed.)
The omelette souffle was fluffily delightful. I found the huevos rancheros to be disappointing only because of what I was expecting it to be from my days living in California. It tasted more like a Mexican tostada salad without the edible tostada shell.
I'm glad that we asked for the sweetener (corn syrup) to come separately when we ordered the minty cucumber juice because it was already too sweet (and also needed more cooling or more ice).
I had an amazing anniversary celebration with my significant other here in Maple - Forbes. The whole place has a serene and sweet classic feel to it that's why it's kind of perfect for what we were celebrating that night.
It's not found on the menu but we first ordered the Black Truffle Pasta. I believe this is one of their bestsellers and honestly, I really loved this pasta. I'm so picky when it comes to pasta meals and this one really killed every judgement that I have. It's creamy with the perfect blend of truffle mushrooms. It's really a must order.
We also ordered their Prime Rib Tapa which is really big. My boyfriend and I shared the food and I got full already before finishing my part. Maple has created a balance between the richness of the prime rib and the marination of it as a "tapa" meal.

The Bourbon Bread for dessert was too sweet but delightful for its unique nature. It has the rhum mixed with brea pudding, vanilla ice cream and more sugar. What didn't go well- the Chocolate pancake. It wasn't good without the Maple Syrup and lacking chocolatiness to be called such.
I know a lot of people set store by Mamou's truffle oil pasta, but my favorite is Maple's black truffle cream. The prosciutto compliments the cream sauce well. It's really rich though and one serving is extremely hearty, so definitely for sharing!
The Huevos rancheros also makes for good comfort food!
The ambiance was classy, however, there were few tables since fhe area was small. Had to wait for a feelw minutes to be seated. I might say, the starbucks beside it has bigger space. Food serving was big, usually good for two to three. We ordered spaetzle jambalaya (i really liked it), maryland crabcakes (so-so) and their hot choco.

Definitely a very new area for me to have dinner , I just pass through this road whenever I want to avoid Edsa traffic .. San Antonio Plaza is situated at the busy street of Forbes Park ..Maple is at the second floor beside Starbucks (you won't miss it) I was told that the owner of this place and Pancake house are the same ; true to its reputation the food here is delectable , I love the presentation of fish tacos and the sauce was utterly great ! I also tried my hubby's order .. prime rib tapa (equally yummy !)
They have generous servings so i guess price is acceptable. But there are only a few dishes that are likable. One of them is the Eggs Benedict. Seasoned perfectly and very filling. The toppings of the pancakes can be overwhelming but batter was light and fluffy.

Nothing starts the day better than a hearty meal. We’ve been meaning to try out restaurants around Makati. Since it was a long weekend, we gave it a go. It was a nice Friday morning when we went here. We ordered the following – Savory Country Pancakes and Blueberry and Cream Cheese Pancake Tower.
Savory Country Pancakes - we were supposed to order the Eggs Benedict but it was not available at the time so they suggested this dish instead. As you would expect from the people who brought us Pancake House, the buttermilk pancakes were light and fluffy. The combination of Canadian ham, cheddar cheese and hollandaise sauce brought a delightful play of flavors. Topped with bacon and sunny-side up egg, this dish was very satiating. I can’t identify any weak points except for the bacon strips, some of which were crispy and the rest were not. Who am I kidding? Crispy or not, I still love bacon. :D
Blueberry and Cream Cheese Pancake Tower - this was just average for me and my girlfriend, Yna. The pancakes were light and fluffy as well. Although there was a generous amount of blueberries, there was hardly any cream cheese on them. We both prefer the savory pancakes over this.
Maple has a small interior but it speaks “high-end” all over it. It can seat around 27-30 people at time. We called first thing in the morning to make a reservation for 9 am and asked for a table beside the window. When we arrived at exactly 9 am, we were very disappointed because all the window tables were taken. It’s a good thing the food made up for that. Prices lie on the high side but make up for the generous portions as each of the dishes we ordered could serve two people. The staff was friendly and very professional.
All in all, Maple is a great breakfast place. Yna and I will definitely try other gourmet breakfast dishes, especially the Prime Rib Tapa.
The place is solemn and their interior is classy. Nice ambiance if you're having a breakfast. Fish Tacos was rich in flavor and Truffle Omelette Souffle was so good and it was thick and full of stuff. Foods were hefty and has big servings. For a sweet endings, we had the Apple Pie streusel topping, it was so sweet but manageable, if you have a sweet tooth you'll appreciate the sweetness but it should be for sharing or else you'll fed up on its sweetness.
I like the simplicity of the interior, that maple tree by the door. I am not a breakfast person. Had to psyche myself the night prior for this. Took awhile for our food to come but who cares tis lazy breakfast day and has been worth the wait. My country fried beef and hot choco - good. Took a bite of my friend's beef tapa - also good. The melt-in-your mouth kind. Will be back to order their pancakes which according to my friend 'will bring tears to my eyes.' Funny how she described it, we'll see. The servings were big, there just wasn't any space left.
This is a perfect place most especially if you are having your breakfast. The servings are hefty and good for two or three persons. The price is justifiable and the food are good to be true. I love their pancakes even more than any other pancake joints here in the metro. Aside from the joints that I have not given a try!

We had their prime rib tapa (P510) and Truffle Pasta (P500+). They have huge serving, good for 2-3 persons per order. The tapa was tender and flavorful. As for the truffle pasta, at first bite it kinda taste different..but after a while, i was able to appreciate it's taste...the truffle sauce brings out the flavor of the other ingredients..hindi nakakaumay unlike other creamy based pasta
Service was good. Since we were the only customer at that time, our needs were very well attended.

With a lack of breakfast locales to go for the few who wake up early enough and have the luxury of going somewhere in the morning, it is nice to have place open as early as 6:30 AM (even earlier than most Starbucks) and serving non-fast-food food. Although the food seems to be a hit or miss, at least they have some good options that you can return to on later visits.
The interior is both cozy and elegant which seems to attract customers ranging from families and their children to bikers post-workout. I have to say that it does make it a little confusing as it seems a little too elegant to simply get out of bed and walk over to, but at the same time, not elegant enough to really dress up for the occasion. In any case, it seems that all are welcome.
We ended up ordering the Eggs Benedict and the Blueberry and Cream Cheese Pancake Tower. I have to admit that the food is presented excellently and that, is part of the reason why we ordered the way we did, having noticed the table next to us ordering the Eggs Benedict as well. And I was definitely not disappointed when they came out. The presentation is excellent.
Unfortunately, the Eggs Benedict wasn't as good as I had hoped. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad. Individually, the pieces tasted real good. However, they just didn't go that well together, especially the base of the dish. Where one normally expects to see an English muffin, the base was too light and fried and combined with the oily bacon and eggs (not to mention the fries), the outcome was a dish that was too oily and fried for my tastes. The BCCPT (the pancake tower) fared much better. While it was more cream cheese then I would have liked, the pancakes were fluffy and felt light (although the entire dish sits heavily on the stomach). In addition, both the blueberry syrup and their maple syrup continued to enhance the pancakes. What saltiness was left over from the EB, the BCCPT definitely made it all better.
It might be interesting to note also that they serve their imported coffee by the cup (no free refills) and the cup is not all that big. I observed individuals choosing to pop by the Starbucks nearby for their coffee/caffeine fill instead which, considering the price for a coffee at Maple, will definitely be far more worth it.
In conclusion, from my experience, it can be a hit-or-miss restaurant. It's probably recommended that you go with a few others on your first visit and sample as many dishes as you can so you can determine for yourself what breakfast options are more to your taste and what are not. Extra points for being open early and catering to the breakfast crowd. Hopefully, they keep up the nice interior and service!
We had one of the best lunch dates today at Maple. Not only was the food delicious, the staff was by far, the best we've had serve us for the longest time.

For the food, you guys know how I love my omelet... So to those who share the same passion for huevos, try the Truffle Omelet Souffle. The description is exactly how the dish turned out. Amazing! Addicting. I will be back for more.
Hubby had the Huevos Rancheros, and he loved the refried beans made from scratch. With a hint of cilantro and just enough spring onions, the dish comes to life.
You must also try the mussels in white wine. And clearly there is a dollop or swish of maple syrup in every plateful.
Hubby and I also have a theory. It is possible because of the maple syrup, we got hit with an awesome sugar rush after lunch... Enough to make us walk through the mall all afternoon. Hehe. You have been warned!

Ok, it's been a while since I made a proper food/resto review...but this definitely deserved one. Maple is a small, cozy and charming cafe resto at San Antonio Plaza, Dasmarinas Village, Makati...found it by googling best brunch places in Makati...which I think is called rightly so.
For starters, we were served with their complimentary homemade bread. Hot, chewy, buttery, sprinkled with some herbs and served with butter...simple but perfect! Would leave you wanting more...Their Eggs Benedict is very well executed...replacing the usual English muffin with a light, flaky croissant-type of pastry made their rendition very unique and delicious. The side dish of fries were crunchy and tasty...goes well with the Ben indeed. The Prime Rib Tapa was cooked just right...the beef was tender and properly seasoned. Imagine a steak cooked like our pinoy breakfast favorite complete with 2 sunny side-up eggs, garlic rice, atchara, tomato-onion salsa and vinegar. Lastly, their Blueberry & Cream cheese French Toast was heavenly!!! It really exceeded my expectations of a french toast...creamy and light inside with a certain crunch outside and generously filled. I'd give it a 2 thumbs up!!! If I were to describe my experience here...it's definitely Value for Money. Aside from the delicious, large and generous servings which are priced reasonably, they have great and friendly service as well. Very much worth the visit. Actually all the pics that you see here are just half of the serving of each dish. Good thing I was food tripping with my kuya otherwise I wouldn't have been able to finish everything!
I never imagined that this restaurant is a sister company of pancake house because waffles here in Maple are so much fluffier and tastier than the dry waffles in Pancake House. I love the feel of the resto which is like a semi fine dining with cozy feel. Plus, their waiters are good looking. I wonder if its part of the qualifications. Lol. Maple Burger (with fries and onion rings) and fresh orange juice is a must-try! I also recommend their tapa steak and golden waffle with bacon, sausage and eggs. The price is a little expensive but its worth it since the serving sizes are big. You wont regret eating here :)
What can go wrong with all-day breakfast?
Ambience was great. Loved the "syrup"-filled bottles displayed. Loved the door with the maple tree design.
I ordered the Savory Pancakes (can't remember the full name of the dish). 2 pancakes with bacon, hollandaise sauce and cheese, topped with a sunny side up egg. It was really good but the richness of the sauce got to me after devouring about 2/3 of the dish. The pancake became soggy from the sauce. Maybe it was moist to begin with...and yhe saucr made it worse. Overall, it was a 4.0/5.0.
My BFF ordered the Big Maple Breakfast. The sausages were excellent, the bacon was ok, the fries were ok (but a bit more would be appreciated) and the waffle was a bit dry. Overall, it was 3.8/5.0.
It's the perfect place for brunch dates and meet ups with friends. It was difficult to choose what to get since everything in their menu seemed so tempting. We enjoyed their eggs Benedict and waffle. Their servings are good for sharing and the food is very filling:) We'll try their big maple breakfast and other entrees next time!
Perfect place for a hearty all-day breakfast meal. Definitely worth your money. Pancakes are so much better than that of ihop's. Pasta's good and their sausage is one to look forward to.

As starters, I would like to recommend their chili soup. The sweetness of the bread made it really a surprise to the taste. The Salmon catch is perfect for weigjt watchers, and the presentation is impressive. We like Pancake House, and it's our comfort breakfast food with our boys. But recently we noticed the taste is getting too commercialized, the serving of the pasta is getting smaller, and the flavors are a bit diluted.
I'm glad that they decided to create a Breakfast restaurant for the foodies who demand a better breakfast experience all day.
Here's our breakfast date experience at MAPLE:
The MAPLE resto is like a community breakfast place overlooking the Sanctuario de San Antonio Church in Forbes Park, Makati. It has a good following from the surrounding communities.
It can accommodate about 30 people so expect a queue during the peak breakfast time.
The design of the restaurant is focused on the maple design patterns and maple colors.
I love the Story of Maple which sets the fairy-tale mood for the overall theme of the place.
Eggs Benedict - A MAPLE signature topped with Canadian bacon, poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce served with crunchy country fries. I love the crusty bread, with a good choice of ham for the Maple's Egg Benedict version.
The country fries are unique and interesting - crispy odd shaped potato bits.
Swiss Chocolate Pancakes - Buttermilk pancakes or a thick Belgian waffle chock full of Felchin dark chocolate pastilles and topped with more chocolate shavings.
We find the pancake ordinary with bits of chocolate sprinkled on it and selected presence inside the pancakes.
They say that the blueberry pancakes or french toast are their specialty. But we haven't tried them yet.
Prime Rib Tapa - A traditional Filipino breakfast favorite is taken to new heights. A marinated prime rib served with garlic rice, two eggs prepared the way you like, tomato-onion salsa and atchara.
Most foodies (including us) rave about the Prime Rib Tapa. It's like eating a steak with a very strong soy marinated flavor -- just the way Filipinos would like it. Overall, MAPLE got mixed reviews when it opened -- I can understand if you would evaluate your breakfast place based on the pancakes they serve. But what I like most are their gourmet breakfast items specially the Prime Rib Tapa and Eggs Benedict.
I love their quaint location in San Antonio Plaza, overlooking the church. A perfect Sunday Brunch place after hearing mass with the family.
