This review is for delivery services of this branch. Delivery was on time, all orders were correct (and delicious) and complete. The only reason for a not perfect score is, though not with the branch, it took so long and 3 calls (line got cut twice) to the delivery hotline to process my order. I redeemed 4 Citibank promo eGift codes and it took long this time around for them to verify them, not sure if I heard correctly that the system was slow. And the other reason for the 4 instead of 5 rating is because I didn’t like their plain Cheese pizza which is what they always include in the promos and deals like this one.
Anyway onto the food - we love Yellow Cab, my favorite is their Dear Darla Pizza and their Charlie Chan Pasta. Last time I claimed an eGift code for the same promo mentioned above, I got a 10” Cheese Pizza (not 4-cheese, it’s the plain one that’s not on the menu but is the one given out for this promo. The other pizza choice is Hawaiian but my companion hates pineapples on pizza.) and it was far from what I remember a Yellow Cab pizza to be. It was bready, more like a cheese “garlic” bread than a pizza to me. It became a bit better when reheated but still not ordering it again for falling for deals that include it.
So learned my lesson and skipped the free Pizza this time and just got 2 pastas and 2 orders of chicken wings for my 4 codes. The nice thing about the promo is that it is also accepted for delivery (min. 2 codes and max. 5 if I remember correctly) and all I paid for is the delivery fee of ₱50. So convenient!
The pastas are still very good, both the Charlie Chan and Chicken Alfredo, yum! Feel free to pop it in the microwave for a few seconds if you want it really hot!
The chicken wings were good too, crunchy batter outside, still juicy inside (at least the flaps that I ate were, gave the lollipop parts to my companion). Tasty too- I got the Sriracha and the Lemon Pepper variants. I think it’s misleading for restaurants to say “4-pc” though when they mean 2 pieces of wings split into 2 to make it 4. No biggie, just saying. In fairness, in their menu which I read after since a flyer came with the orders, it does say “wingettes and drummettes.”
So be ready to expect small/solo sizes for both the “regular” pasta and esp. the “4-pc” chicken. In my case, it’s okay because they were free. 😉
So it was first son’s birthday and we decided to celebrate it simply by ordering Yellow Cab’s 18” pizza with 4 cheese and all meat flavor.
Also ordered various flavors of chicken wings which although delicious were kind of expensive.
Spent P1100+ and used my pa-in-law’s senior citizen
After trying most of the mainstream pizza parlours around Manila (Shakeys, Pizza Hut, Dominos, etc), I’d say I prefer Yellow Cab at the moment. I usually go for a pizza with meat and vegetables on top, but this time I thought I’d try out the 4 Cheese pizza (335php regular size). It didn’t disappoint. My friends actually had a New York pizza next to it and I much preferred the 4 Cheese. It was done just how I like it.
The pizza is and will always be good. But for their delivery, not so much. Even if I'm alright the 1 hour delivery time, it would take them an hour and 30 minutes.
i am staying at LUBD hotel and this is the nearest yellowcab branch. Ordered Hawaiian pizza, garlic parmesan chicken wings, hot wings and charlie chan. Loved that they are still open even holy week.
My favourite pizza chain in the Philippines and my favourite Yellow cab branch. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The service is good and fast. I enjoyed their pizza Friday which cost me about less than 600 pesos for 2 regular size of pizza.
I have been to numerous Yellow Cab Pizza Co. branches across the Metro, but this branch in Makati Ave. holds a special place in my heart. It is the branch that started it all, the 1st branch, and many years ago I used to live and study nearby, so I used to come here a lot. Nowadays, if I am in the area and craving for pizza, wings, or pasta, or even all, I would easily stop here in a heartbeat.
Without a single doubt in my mind, I am pretty sure that I have tried everything on the menu at Yellow Cab. All good! Nothing has failed me. Of course, I do have some favorites.
I am a hardcore chicken wing lover, and with the same love that I have for spicy food, it's the Hot Chix that I order. It's their original wing flavor that they have offered since day one. Renamed probably once. Still the same one that I have loved all these years. It doesn't have that spiciness that's overkill, but rather one that is just right to leave a zing on the tongue and crave for more. Outside skin is soft crispy and flavirful, while on the inside, it is absoloutely juicy and glistening, not at all dry.
As for the pizza, it's a little difficult to decide a top fave. I order whatever flavor I crave for basically. But if I were to pick, the Dear Darla would be the one. I love the crisp pizza, rolling it up and dipping it in some chili oil. The arugula brings a different flavor into it that plays well with my tastebuds. I do hate bitter, but it works. Plus, one of my all-time favorite movies when I was a kid was 'Little Rascals.' That's where the name came to from. :)
Charlie Chan is my jam for my fave pasta. I love the Asian twist it has instead of the usual Italian-American. The shitake mushrooms bring an umami depth into it, along with that little kick of spiciness.
The MyStuff-MyMix option is a great thing to order if one wants pizza, pasta, and wings, but is dining alone. I really was happy that Yellow Cab came up with this option. It has made my foodie life easier. LOL!
Food: 5.0 - Tried them all! Never fail!
Price: 5.0 - Bang for my Philippine buck.
Service: 5.0 - Quick and friendly. Even in the un-Godly hours of the morning, the staff here at this 24hr branch is perky and positive.
Ambience: 5.0 - There is a slight industrial vibe with the place. Instead of it feeling cold, it actually feels chilled and laid back. Great place to hang with family and friends no matter what the time is.
I wish work was close to this branch. I work the graveyard shift, and it would be a dream to just walk to here for my lunch.
Fast and efficient customer service. Food was served right away with only fee minutes of wait time. Parking in front was only good for 2 vehicles, most of the spaces were occupied by their delivery motorcycles.
One of the really good pizzas I have had in Manila
The taste is really delicious
Newyorkers are always the go to
Vegetarian option is also good
The service is also nice
The dine in is not that spacious though.. but it's good to be there
I like YC, I do! More than Shakeys, if we be honest. Its just as oily anyway 😂
I think that YC's meal (with hardly a spaghetti or Charlie Chan and a couple of half wings and a folded pizza) is a good deal, despite the measly amount! 😊 Php 200.
It is very good to have this so that students and employees on a budget can also have their taste of this oily American goodness.
I like the NY's finest, the pepperoni pouch and the Sriracha wings!
Love dear darla, charlie chan and pistacio ice cream.
The place is a little small but have the same ambiance compared to other stores. The staff are always friendly and accomodating even if it seems always busy.

FAST review for Yellow Cab Pizza Co in Poblacion along Makati Avenue:
F (food) -
Whenever I'm craving for New York-style pizza, the first thing that comes to my mind is Yellow Cab. I like how they serve near perfect hand-tossed thin-crust pies as if this restaurant originated in the U.S. To be honest, I'd prefer Yellow Cab over S&R New York Style Pizza.
A (ambiance) - Although smaller, the place is just the same in almost every aspect as with other Yellow Cab branches.
S (service) -
The service is good but it's like every staff is very busy on something. Maybe they need to hire more personnel.
T (tip) -
New York's Finest and Manhattan Meatlovers are my two most favorite pies.
When I have an insatiable craving for pizza, i always go to Yellow Cab. NY Finest is still my favourite (2nd is the Garden Special with extra anchovies).
What i like about Cab is that the pizza still tastes the same (like the first time, 2003 to be exact). I got to give them A+ for maintaining the quality of food. They dont need a lot of gimmicks, the pizza can speak for itself.
It was late night and was so busy with meetings that I was just craving for Yellow Cab before going home. So ended up doing a take out of New York's Finest and the awesome favorite pasta the Aglio Olio with shrimp. #AwesomelyYummy and highly recommend both pasta and pizza combo :) When I got home totally just forgot to take photos and completely ate everything immediately. So will order again at this resto and take more pics of the food. :)
Manhattan Meat lovers is love.
the place is great, the usual yellow cab experience (industrial). clean. somehow relaxing compared to other branches. staff are polite and accommodating.
price is good for its taste value :) i ll be back later. see you yellow cab poblacion :)

CHELSEA'S ARTICHOKE CRAFT PIZZA
So this is love. ❤
I've gone back thrice in a span of a week to Yellow Cab Pizza because of these: artichoke, diced tomatoes, chunks of ricotta cheese, fresh basil AND a sprinkle of vodka... all on top of chewy, toasted & bubbly, semi-thin crust. I am so addicted!
FOUR CHEESE & TOMATOES CRAFT PIZZA
Now that the Chelsea's Artichoke has been established as my new favorite at Yellow Cab, I still gotta share this contender. It has feta, cheddar, romano & mozzarella, and of course, the chunky, fresh tomatoes. Some may want complicated, meaty pizza but this simple one is something I enjoy. 😊

This was a delicious meal in every sense of the word.
The New York Finest pizza was excellent, tasty and the dough was soft and good.
The vanilla ice cream was very yummy. I consider myself a yellow cab fan now since so many other places don't do pizza right.
This branch has been in the block for some time niw. I really like that they have ample parking for dining guests. The place is well kept. Service here is good. Orders were served timely. This is the first branch i was able to try when the franchise came out. Ever since, we go here every now and then everytime we crave for their pizza.
I recently tried their barbecue chicken pizza. I actually liked it! The mixture of barbecue sauce and mozzarella cheese is something else. I did not think it would work but it did in a big way for me. At this point the chicken was secondary to me. The mixture of cheese and sauce is the selling point here.
Yellowcab is known for their New York-style pizza and their delicious flavors. For the pizza, I recommend their 4-cheese pizza, the roasted garlic and shrimp pizza, Manhattan meat lovers, New York’s finest (ground beef, ham, pepperoni, bell pepper, mushrooms). For the pasta, I recommend their twice-baked potato halves and their Charlie Chan Chicken Pasta. The dessert here is nothing special but the food here is incredible! The place of always neat and clean and I always look forward Yellow Cab
