This dessert is good for sharing. Their chocolate has always been so good, even good to slurp but when the churros is left behind, it gets satiating and too oily on its own. So I think it is best to get something with flavor too. But there is no doubt I would order 2 cups of chocolate any day.
This is the first La Lola branch we have ever visited that got us hooked.
People tend to patiently fall in line and, as usual, we got curious so we tried their churros too.
Their churros are quite filling, I usually am able to eat just a churro or two since it’s carbs and sweets, it tends to make me feel bloated afterwards. Despite that, hubby and I really can’t resist getting an order just to satisfy our cravings for La Lola.
It was a typical piggingoutonsundays kinda Sunday. Although the piggery was not complete, it did not hamper them from doing a “food crawl”
First stop was 8 cuts with a segue at Shawama Wama . This was followed by dessert at Morelli’s then a walk over to Churreria La Lola where they ordered the assorted variant P130.
The piggery chose the dark chocolate and white chocolate variant . It must be good because whenever we find ourselves in a mall where there’s La Lola,the kids cant help buy them
La Lola has always been my go shop whenever I am craving for a churros. We got their assorted white chocolate and Ube flavor. Both of the flavors that I have chosen were really good. You could taste the rich coating of both (my personal favorite was the ube). For the flavored churros, you don't need the chocolate dip anymore since the flavor was good enough for it. Their classic will always be the best but it's good to try out other flavors too,
Love, love, love this place!! There is a place back in Australia similar to this one called San Churros but Churreria La Lola definitely is the better option. If only they had this back home but definitely always come here to cure my cravings everytime I'm back in the Philippines. I love how there are different types of churros unlike every other churros restaurants that sells the original churros and nothing more.
Even after many months, Churreria La Lola in Power Plant Mall still attracts crowds of customers hungry for their churros. While there are many options available, sometimes the best thing to have is a classic, just like the Clasicos Churros (6 pieces P110). These are crispy and holden brown on the outside, and chewy on the inside. They have a mild taste so having a dip like the Chocolate Churros Dip (Good for 6 pieces P60) is a good way to continue enjoying the snack.
I suggest eating everything immediately because the dip hardens after a while and the churros become stiff and bland when they cool.

This is located at the lower ground floor of Rockwell. Churreria La Lola serves the churros freshly. It might be too hot for your tongue so be careful. I really think that even the three pieces of churros can be good for sharing especally if you are on a diet. :) Was able to share mine with my brother and the three-piece churros has a free chocolate dip!

The best place to eat churros, and it'll always be. It's my go to place when I'm craving for churros. The place was okay, better than the most la Lola branches. The service was just okay tho.

told myself that if there were no lines at La Lola, I'd go there and buy churros. I was really happy when we passed by and, surprise surprise, there were no lines!! Really meh photo but I was really excited on finally getting to try this baby that as soon as I saw that I got a decent shot, I immediately dove right in...
and ending up almost getting my fingers burnt. lol the pain brought me back to reality, and I couldn't help but throw a sheepish grin at the direction of the counter - the guy manning it seemed to be stifling a grin as he handed us a spork. Yep. 😂😂
Anyway, as I daintily cut the xuxos (to make up for the PG behavior of a few moments ago lolol) in two equal parts to share with a friend, the monent finally came, the moment I've been waiting for and have been dreaming of all these months: my first bite.
And it did not disappoint.
The dulce de leche xuxos was definitely on point and it's something I'd order from La Lola again and again and again. I really prefer this one over their regular churros, although in fairness I have yet to try some of their other flavored churro like the vanilla and strawberry one. I also saw that they had those churro loop thingers, though my heart was already set on my dulce de leche xuxos nothing can convince me otherwise to order something else lolol.
Also, you might find this funny but the only reason why it took me (literally!!) months to get a xuxos was because I couldn't, for the life of me, say it without snickering. Idk I just feel awkward doing so hahahaha. ;;

Been wanting to try la lola since it opened but I was only able to try it just last week 😐 for me, nothing specia for their churros and I find it overpriced because it already costs php 110 for only 6 pieces without dip. It's honestly crispy outside and soft inside, which is good because most churros fail to pull this one off. I think their sauces are the ones that make their churros special because its perfect--not too sweet yet very delicious!

Estancia was the pefect location.
We all wanted to check out Craft Coffee Revolution but somehow ended at the tables of Churreria La Lola.
This is just my second time at La Lola. I believe the first time happened in SM Aura. I have tried the original flavor so I opted to try something else. I remember Reich T was raving about their churros with dulce de leche filling so I went with that.
It was perfection! The sticky sweetness of South America's favorite caramel sauce was a melody to the crispiness of churros.
Served hot, I was satisfied.
Abe C's order came late. The server said it had something to do with the machine's temperature? I forgot. It would have been better if proper expectation was set. I didn't hear any comment from Reich so I guess she was pleased with her food.
Ruth D, Clarissa P and Raymond P joined us after an hour. The couple (Clarissa and Raymond, in case you're not aware.) ordered different flavors of ice cream sandwich. Matcha and Vanilla if I'm not mistaken. It was quite messy to eat so both of them had to use utensils.
A few minutes of chit chats and our group left Estancia and headed to Haru for dinner.
It's been a while since I went to Rockwell so I can’t remember what restaurants were found on the basement floor. My dad wanted to have merienda and the only place I think he’d like will be La Lola. Each time I am in the area, there is always a long queue at this place. I love churros and been wanting to try the churros here since I heard of the opening. Finally, the place was almost empty late afternoon last Friday. Despite being just an hour away from dinner appointment, I decided to take this opportunity.
One observation - this was perhaps the most manned outlet in the entire mall. For a small place, it has 7 or 8 staffs. With that amount of manpower, service was bound to be fast (and it was).
I ordered classic churros. For my first try, I have gone for the basic one to be able to check if the quality was indeed good. The place serves bigger, fatter churros. Each of the six pieces was light golden brown, with light sprinkles of sugar. They did not use cinnamon sugar. The crust was crispy and there was the crisp sound in each bite. It was moist and chewy inside. They were beautifully cooked, so to speak. They were simply delicious. The chocolate dip was good as well. It wasn't too thick and had just the right level of sweetness.
My first try gave a good impression. Next time I'm in town, I will try the flavoured ones.
I love churros especially when it's cooked with cinnamon, although La Lola doesn't have churros w/ cinnamon it still found a way through my heart.
I drag Jason here every time we're in Makati (Rockwell, to be specific). We also tried the Matcha one while we were in Aura but I still like the classic one better even w/o any dip. But if you find the plain one boring, I recommend the banana-nutella flavored one.

I got 6 pieces of Classic Churros plus medium chocolate dip. I haven't tried a lot of churros - only that of Dulcinea and Tus, and I must say that these from La Lola are so worth the line! Warm and crunchy with a soft and chewy center, they're so good! The Belgian chocolate dip was good too though it was a little sweet. It had the right consistency - not too watery or runny and it wasn't too thick as well.
I have yet to try the stuffed ones. But, oh my God, the classics are bomb!! I have been looking for the best churros in Manila and La Lola definitely is the one to try.💜
The churros can be a hit or miss. Depending on the cook i guess. Sometimes it ok sometimes its oveecooked. When we tried this ice cream sandwich in rockwell, we just got to order another one. So yummy!
It was okay for the price. A bit overhyped though. Not really the best churros yet. But at least it was not oily. At some point, it made me feel like I want to keep eating it though what would stop me were the burnt-like taste like some tips of the churros were a bit overcooked. Just that. I guess I expected consistency in taste and in crispiness outside and softness inside.
First timer last weekend. After all the hype, I'm relieved I didn't have to wait in line at all just to order. My sister and I got medium churros + a small (?) dark chocolate dip. I liked it. It wasn't soggy nor was it too flour-y. We almost couldn't finish it since the churros are long and the smallest size you can get comes in 6. Good thing our dad wanted to try :P
It's cute that their tables had small square holes to put the paper cones in. I wouldn't have opted to stay there if there weren't :)
My six Churros were served fresh off the deep frying pan filled with EVO. As expected, it came out very crispy and fragrant. When you bite through it, it melts right away in your mouth. One piece is enough to fuel your craving for some oily food. Their choco dip was lush as well.

After dinner in Rockwell, we were walking around & thinking of where to get dessert. I suggested La Lola & thankfully my parents went for it because of their sudden craving for churros.
We ordered the Medium with extra large hot chocolate dip + 1 Nutella Xuxo. As usual, everything was good! The thing with La Lola though is their churros look light but they're actually pretty filling. I was already full after eating 2 churros. 😂 I'd probably be able to finish more on an empty stomach though, lol.
I'd probably give them a higher rating if their price points were slightly lower though. 😊

Love their churros!! Although, I'd suggest you stick to the classic ones with the chocolate dip as opposed to the stuffed ones. They're super sweet and can get really messy to eat. 👍🏼

One of the most idiotic thing I've ever done in my life is to visit Spain and not try their Churros. What a foolish thing to do, right? That, I will forever regret, unless I go back to Spain to correct my mistake.
My trip to Spain will have to wait since I have yet to replenish my savings, but a trip to Churreria La Lola is something that I can afford at the moment and will pretty much suffice my cravings for churros.
Given the price range, I am expecting a whole lot more from La Lola since the only churros that I've tasted was from Dulcinea. I am happy to say that La Lola didn't disappoint. I personally like the chocolate dip (something that I can munch on the whole afternoon. I also like the fact that the churros was cooked on the spot. The only thing I don't like is that I get the "umay" factor after eating two churros. But I guess this is normal for me since I also experience the same thing with Dulcinea's churros.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed my snack at La Lola's! I just hope one day I will be able to experience eating Churros in Spain. :P
Many - I'd say all of us - have come to know and love churros because of Dulcinea. So I'll have to say that I'm pretty impressed with the way Churreria La Lola has done a good job of reimagining this product and amplifying its potential as an accompaniment to hotdogs (the latter item I haven't tried yet, but see picture of 'perritos calientes').
The product comes in beautiful and well-considered packaging, which enhances the product's appeal; the cutout accommodates a cup for sauce, which is a lovely idea. Too bad I didn't figure out earlier the square cutout holes at La Lola's tables were to hold their cones :P
Do I find it expensive for what it is? Yes. Is it good? Yes, it is.
I believe they've tweaked the recipe somewhat to sweeten the dough and maybe give it a bit more fluffiness and crunch after frying. It's a treat worth saving for - and queuing for, if the line's not too long.
By far the best churros I've eaten so far here in Manila! Bang for buck as well portion wise! Two persons can share their smallest serving without feeling 'umay' at the end. I also like that it still remains crunchy (and not hella soggy or what) even when left for a small period of time (est an hour, i think). Cute packaging as well. Nothing spectacular about the dips but it ain't bad either.

Full from a hearty dinner, just grabbed medium classic churros with a large hot dip. Noticed at once its greasiness. It was hot and straight from the fryer. So I immediately dipped it in the chocolate dip (which I didn't think was large enough). The dip was not so chocolaty and sweet but it's still good.
Enjoyed my first few churros but at the end, I can't take it anymore. I just wasn't sure if it's the meal I ate before or I was beginning to feel umay due to its oiliness. I think maybe it's because I expected so much.

This is my first time trying Churreria La Lola and it is delicious. Their churros are long and big which makes it "sulit" for its price. Also, the churros are juicy and crunchy. However the chocolate sauce is not enough for the 12 churros. 😔
Churros at La Lola is love! Can't get enough of this Spanish delicacy! We're always craving for it! It's always freshly cooked for it to be served hot together with their warm dip. I always order their mix (combo of classic and dark chocolate churros) and dark choco dip---heavenly!!!
My mouth is watering just reminiscing about the churros here. My friends and I had the Medium Classic Churros as well as the large Chocochurros and both were delicious! One of my friends recently went to Spain and said that the churros are just like what he ate in Barcelona.
They also have the stuffed variety which are SINFUL. (Must-try: Dulce de Leche) The hot chocolate is thick, robust and creamy, and the perfect consistency for dipping and dousing.
In addition to churros they also have cafe items such as sandwiches, coffee, and tea. Overall, they do one main thing and they do it exceedingly well. If anybody wants a great place for a dessert, this is a must-go. I will definitely be back to get my churro on! ;)
I was finally given a chance to try La Lola’s famous churros. I love churros since I was a kid and have heard good reviews about La Lola’s. This branch (as well as the one in megamall) doesn’t have many seats. It’s setup for take out and those eating on the go. Their takeout container has a design wherein the dip and churros can be held in one hand so that you can dip and eat with your other hand.
Service and preparation is prompt.
The churros itself was big and quite affordable. You had to add on the chocolate which was also affordable. 6pcs and some chocolate cost me only 170 pesos. I sort of disliked how the churros had sugar on it, but they didn’t put too many anyway. The churros is very crispy outside and quite soft inside. A tad oily but you can’t expect it not to be.
Overall a good experience. I would buy La Lola’s churros again if given the chance.

Just had the medium Classic Churros with the medium Hot Chocco Dip. The Churros themselves are pretty good however I've always liked their hot chocolate dip as its not too sweet and just right with the texture.
Finally got to try this! Love the crunch of the churros. Can it separately. . . The chocolate sauce is delish. I wonder if tgey could make a mocha flavor and a dulce de leche flavor sauce.
La Lola's Churros was the best churros I have ever tasted and I think I can say i'm now a convert. For just 110 pesos, you get 6 huge pieces of original churros that you can enjoy as is. If you add another 50 pesos, you get a chocolate dip. Go get the chocolate dip!
The Churros were crispy on the outside and really soft inside - a good balance of textures. The churros has, i think, just the right amount of sweetness to keep you munching for more. I think the only issue I have is that I probably had enough after 2 sticks!
I found it difficult to finish the entire box by myself, so it's 'sulit' because you can actually share a box with 1-2 other people.

Probably one of the nicest churros in Manila. Oil used isn't stinky and old and the churros just has a nice crunchy taste that's slightly sweet. Always have it with the dark choco dip and it complements well. The smallest order is good enough for 2-3 to share. What's surprising is that it's still good after an hour or two - even when cold. An indicator of good churros!
The churros, because of their large size, in contrast to the usual ones that we see in other popular churrerias in the Metro, are good for two. That's referring to the minimum order of six medium-sized sugar-raised churros with chocolate dip. Best eaten while still hot, these elongated delicacies, semi-sweet and creamy, complement the bittersweet taste of thick chocolate syrup. Served in attractive, easily-handled triangular containers, La Lola's churros are also a perfect snack to bring to the cinema, deliciously matching Powerplant Mall's best-tasting popcorn.
I’m going to start by saying that their Churros are phenomenal! Along with their amazing dark chocolate dip, I was in heaven!
We ordered their Large Classic Churros (12 pcs for 345 good for 3-4 people). The dip was nice and hot and their churros were fried to perfection!
While there was absolutely nothing wrong with the food.
I was, however, hoping for a bigger store here at Rockwell Powerplant Mall. It felt like the line went on forever and it took even longer for them to serve our order. Also, there just weren’t enough seats and no one seemed to clean the tables after other customers left. I’m hopeful that they’ll make the necessary changes for future branches, especially when they open at Robinson’s Place Ermita which is very close to me and my workmates who love La Lola’s Churros.
I highly recommend La Lola’s. The lines were long, and for good reason. I would suggest picking up some on a less busy day. But know that if you decide to brave the long lines, it’s well worth the wait!
The churros tasted great and were big in size. The chocolate dip was so good that we could not help but finish it to the last drop. We will definitely return here once the craving arises :-)
The churros were nicely seasoned with sugard, crisp, and cooked perfectly. The chocolate sauce for the churros was very good, but while a lot of people are complaining that it could be thicker... it's not supposed to be thick. Think of it as an Iberian equivalent of kape at pan de sal.
The Xuxos (stuffed churros) are pretty good, but they are definitely on the sweet side. The dough used is different from the original churros. It's a lot more filling, and it gets pretty chewy if it isn't consumed immediately. I got the Dulce de Leche stuffed one, and I had to split an order because it was really sweet.
As for the horchata, it's a lot like soy milk. Once is definitely enough. P250 for a cup is too much!
Ahh..La Lola. My wife and I tried their classic churros the first time when they were on soft opening and was rather dissapointed. We thought the churros was quite oily and too expensive. We decided to give it another try around a month after the first one and I'm so glad that we did! They've surely learned their lesson as they now make sure to remove excess oil from their churros by having it sit on a plate with paper towels for a few more seconds before drizzling it with sugar. The chocolate dip is a perfect complement but one can choose to eat the churros without it. Still a but expensive but now it makes you feel you get your money's worth.
I think that they've put effort on mastering the art of making churros, and it was a good deal for the minds behind Churreria La Lola to put up an authentic place to make people enjoy every bit of it. I will never look at Churros the same way again. Killed it. 💯 #fortheloveofchurros #oneofthebest
Both their sweet and savoury churros are so good. Super loved the Jamon y Queso churros. We also got the Churroreo which really sweet, but somehow tasted better when dipped in chocolate. The experience would have been better if there had been more tables.

Finally got to trying Churreria La Lola in Powerplant Mall. I have to say that after an initial hype, reviews from friends and family for the churros remained steadily positive. Passing by their stall at the bottom floor, there continues to be a regularly respectable line (particularly during the afternoon period) probably reflecting the continued overall positive light that CLL has maintained.
I ended up with a large churros and large hot chocolate dip. I also had the opportunity to have some of the Horchata as well. My review: the churros and chocolate are good. I was a little hesitant about the churros having heard that someone once had undercooked churros at this location, but the batch that I had seemed cook through. Because it was freshly made and fried, it was crispy outside and soft inside (ideal). The chocolate was not thick (which was a complaint I heard) and I agree that it could be a little thicker (more chocolate, less other stuff) but the flavor was good (not too sweet) allowing the churros' flavor to blend with the chocolate in a way that was just right. The Horchata was interesting, reminds me a little of soy milk, which was entirely unpleasant but not really worth the price that it cost to purchase. Maybe it really is imported from Spain, but the taste just doesn't suit my preferences.
My biggest issue is the lack of seats available, particularly to accommodate the long line that one must first endure to get an order in. After waiting in line and waiting for the order to be filled (this may take just as long as the number of batches that can be made are very limited), sometimes you find that there is still no seat available and as a result, you try to find alternative seating elsewhere. Let me tell you, a snack that involves dipping chocolate is best eaten sitting as that chocolate can be very dangerous (particularly to white clothes).
All in all, very good (despite strong protests from some people I know). Returnability, maybe (mostly because it is not cheap, the line/wait can be long and I don't normally look for churros as it is quite rich). However, definitely worth a try if you've never been before (so you can have your own opinion about it). Best enjoyed in the company of friends although it might be difficult finding somewhere to sit as there are just never any available when you need them.
Crazy for churros!!! I'm just so lucky to be one of the winners of Churros Clasicos in one of the IG contest of #bookyXlalola. Today, August 27, is the last day of claiming the prize. I invited my brother to accompany me to churreria la lola branch in power plant mall, rockwell since my prize can only be claimed in that specific branch.
I was so excited to have my medium classic churros partnered with medium sized chocolate dip. Took a photo immediately and munch munch munch. It was so good to eat the churros while it's hot. Good thing it wasn't that oily and was fried to perfect crisp on olive oil. The dip was a perfect match, not to thick and just the right amount of sweetness.
i guess i expected too much from La Lola because there was a long line when it started, i absolutely LOVE churros but this one i could say would be pretty decent. the ones i got were more of crisp and there was only a small chewy part on the inside, chocolate was pretty okay too thick enough but i guess ive had better hot chocolate. We also tried the one with the ice cream but the ice cream was a little icy, the churros were rolled in chocolate and cocoa powder. service is good and people work quickly
I think the churros are okay. Nothing special with it. The sauce is good though. However, the other sauces are too expensive. But I might try the stuffed churros next time because who knows, it might be worth the hype.

I'm not a fan of churros with a not so high standards based on the classic Dulcinea. Now with this new craze that is just less greasy, does it really deserves the spotlight?
Their churros with simple flavors and contrasting textures, served perfectly warm with their thick dark slighlty bitter chocolate dip is always a temptation. Best consumed imediately, so sharing isn't really a bad idea.
I am a fan of La Lola since they opened their Rockwell store last year. They make the best churros, in my opinion. Like any other churros, it is best consumed as soon as you get your order as it has the tendency to get soggy.
What separates La Lola from other churrerias is their premium Belgian chocolate dip that I really love. Another thing that I love is their creativity; La Lola offers stuffed churros, called Xuxos, and they have a savory selection as well (churros with Jamon and cheese, anyone?).
Worth the hype and the long lines. :)
Their churros tend to become inconsistent--sometimes they're undercooked maybe because of the demand. However, this shouldn't be.
But when their churros are perfect, they're perfect! :)
I find the taste and the texture very similar to Dulcinea's churros. The medium sized classic is more than enough. I could barely finish 4 sticks but I managed to eat more than that. Whoops hahahaha. The dip was good, too. And again, very similar to Dulcinea's. Overall, just enough to satisfy anybody who's in need of some churros fix.
I'm a sucker for churros and I loved this place. Yes, it has an "umay" factor and I wouldn't be able to eat more than 3 pieces but that doesn't take away the fact that their churros aren't oily and heavy as well as the fact that their chocolate dip is heavenly.
I've been seeing a lot of instagram posts on this one and I finally got the chance to try it! It's so yummy!!!!! I ordered the medium churros clasicos and the medium hot chocolate dip. It's actually good for two because the churros are so big. Also, it's best to eat it when it's hot!
Final Verdict: I want to try the Xuxos (stuffed churros-Nutella), the Barcelona sandwich and the Horchata drink in my next visit! :)
Yummy churros and yummy chocolate dip! Also try the dolce de lecheee 💓 just go a little early because many people are eating at la lola and sometimes there is no available seat

I love churros that's why i gave this stall a try. It was really worth trying. The churros is so soft and freshly cooked. They offer different kinds of dips. But what i love is their nutella choco dip. Perfect match with churros for me. price is very reasonable for its serving and quality.

Churreria La Lola's , one of the most delicious churros I've ever tasted. I love how unique the churros is made. The price is very cheap. My boyfriend and I bought the Large one and its 12 pcs. Visit and try Churreria La Lola's in Rockwell, The fort & Up town center! You'll love its taste :)
Their churros taste delicious! Expect a very long line, though. The only time you'll be able to not suffer the lines would be at around 11-12nn, when they open and before lunch break begins. Price is fair though a tad steep, but what else to expect from Powerplant? Would still come back here on cheat days or to share with friends.

I was intrigued by the crazy long queue of this churros place in Rockwell and in BGC, suprisingly, we were just walking inside UP Town Center and then we saw that La Lola Churreria's finally on their soft opening. The churros were great. Not too oily and it was so crispy. The dark chocolate dip was good. It was a tad bit pricey but the one you'll surely love. I will definitely crave their churros in the future.
The churros with the Belgian chocolate is good but I personally like the xuxos better. So if you like churros and Nutella, make sure to check out their Nutella xuxos. It's a must try!
Not a fan of churros ever in my life. But when i first tried it here it made me fall in love with it. Their churros is crispy on the outside but soft in the inside. It taste good even without dip but what good about the dip is that it enhances the flavor even more. These two are just perfect to one another. I will really buy some more when I get back here.
After eating dinner at kaya I noticed a long line and a lot of people waiting infront of churreria la lola. I was so curious so I checked it out I was wondering why people are willing to wait in that long queue just for churros. My husband asked me if i like some and i said maybe later i'm still full. So after we attended mass we pass by at la loca and the queue to order is not that long so we bought churros clasicos large (12pcs) and their xtra large hot chocolate dip. hmmmm maybe I was expecting too much or i thought there must be something extra ordinary with heir churros but for me its normal. Though I still like it because I'm a churro con chocolate fan.
I'm not a fan of churros but La Lola made me—well, a fan of THEIR churros, in that case. The best-tasting churros I've had so far.
They have big servings; so even if you order their medium (6 pcs) classic churros, you'll still be satisfied. Their chocolate dip is rich and it's not too sweet. My kind of dip.
I had their Xuxos, too, which is the stuffed churros. And the chocolate (Nutella) just bursted into my mouth and fingers. It was a mess, but worth it. It's so good!
It's just a struggle because everytime I try to dine there, no seats are available; so I end up just taking my churros with me and enjoy it elsewhere.
Super delicious!!!! Big in size and flavor. Love the crunch and texture plus the dark chocolate sauce! Will definitely be back to try their other products and come back for this! 😍

Since I'm a churros lover and Dulcinea "was" my favorite, we'd better try this one and wonder what's the hype all about because of the long line.
Their first branch is in Powerplant. Their place is small, it's literally come and go set up and it's uncomfortable to eat there because people see you eat, so it's better to eat it somewhere else which you can also eat it while roaming around the mall. The line was so long especially during weekends but it was manageable.
We ordered their 6 pcs. Classic Churros. I can say it was really humongous in size and it was thick. The taste was so impressive and not oily. Their Hot Chocolate Dip was just perfect and also thick, I think they're using Nutella for it. You can also eat their churros even without a dip because it was already tasty. I'd better replace Dulcinea for La Lola!! :)
On our second visit was in SM Aura since it's near from our place. It has also a long line but I think this is bigger than Powerplant. We ordered the 12 pcs. Classic Churros again because I fell inlove at my first try. For me, I just like the Classic Churros, though they have many churros to offer.
The price is actually expensive and because the dip is excluded but it's worth it. It's quality over quantity. ;)
This is now my new favorite churros con chocolate place in Manila. We had their classic churros with choco and indeed it gave me a smile. Their churros are definitely not as oily as the other popular ones that have been in the city for ages now. Their chocolate is thick and smooth. No shortcuts nor scrimping done here.
I also had a taste of their horchata bean drink. It was very light and refreshing though it's quite pricey. Maybe something to just try once.
