If you are looking for a small, cozy cafe this is the place. They have vegan options (drink + food) and it’s the best I’ve had in Manila! Great staff too. Definitely take time to stop by this place.
Great little cafe, I had coffee and pancakes for breakfast.... highly recommend
cozy and colorful spot in the middle of poblacion. awesome spot for breakfast/brunch as they have super vegan lattes and baked goods. ask them to let you attempt your own latte art! its fun, or at the very least, funny. i specifically love the calamansi cakes and pesto panini. if the owners are in, grab a chat with them, nice, easy going and in the know.
One of my favorite places Super scrumptious baked goods and sandwiches. High quality coffee and tea. Healthy juices, smoothies and shakes. Owners and staff are total sweethearts. Wi-fi and AC on full blast at all times, for you lap top luggin "home" office peeps. All this and reasonable prices too!? You had me at hello
I love this place! My go-to for when I want awesome vegan cheese sandwich and tapsilog burrito (naked haha) :)
Love Kismet! Super tasty food, the Burrito is HUGE and I love the nachos.. Really lovely staff, and really cozy to sit in. Awesome place.

Love them! They entertained my addiction to banana milk coffee even though it wasn't on the menu!
The best coffee in the whole neighborhood and the best vibes. Even my 9 year old said, "the energy here is really good!"

Such good looking nice people behind the counter too
Vegetable Ham & Cheese Panni was awesome ! Nice place.
Healthy foods and great ambiance.
Went here for a quick coffee after lunch, but ended up staying for a while. It's a perfect place for chilling. We played music and talked over coffee. There are even books. Friendly ambience. The beans they used were from Atok, and the coffee was prepared so perfectly. Smooth, nutty, and sweet. Would come back again here!
Our initial plan was to eat at Greenery Kitchen but it's closed when we got there. Good thing, Kismet cafe is just nearby (though we had to walked approx 30 mins to go there 😂) and we're glad that it offers veganized Filipino dishes! I like the theme and layout of the cafe. We also met some vegan foreigners there.
We had Filipino breakfast comprised of vegan tapa, crispy fried vegan bagnet (guilt-free coz the "taba" has no cholesterol in it as it can only be found in animals), tofu scramble, garlic rice, and caramelized saba. We also tried their veggie ham and cheese sandwich (the filling tasted like vegetable samosa). For dessert, we indulged ourselves with chocolate cinnamon swirls and coffee (idk the whole name) cake --taste like non vegan desserts so I thought dairy and eggs can be omitted in baking cakes.
Being on a plant-based lifestyle doesn’t necessarily mean we don’t get to enjoy our favorite foods! Veganism leans towards a healthier, plant-based alternative.
They also have a book corner where you can read and exchange books, and a poster for wanted foster families (for cats and dogs).
Once in a while, I like trying vegetarian/vegan food to incorporate different vegetable recipe in my system. I always wanted to try Kismet Cafe. I first found them at instagram and their place is a beautiful one.
This “bagnet” I tried is the best so far, it does tastes like the real one. Crunchy with the taba feels. They say its made out of cassava starch. Interesting! I googled and found no recipe. I’ll ask more about it when I return. The tofu scramble is also a hit for me, delicious full of flavor. Ibang approach sa nakasanayang tofu scramble. This one is ma-sibuyas. Served with atsara and saging na saba :)
Drink is banana oats milk, sakto lang. straighforward taste: banana, milk, oats.
I’m excited to come back and try other food from Kismet :)
FOOD QUALITY: banana peanut butter pancake - presentation was really cute! It was also thick and very filling. They could've been more generous with the peanut butter but over all it's good! Tastes homemade!
Fililino breakfast- it was served with vegan tapa which was really good for what it's worth. I'm not really vegan meaning i appreciate eating real.meat but I'm sure a true full on vegan would appreciate it. But the scrambled vegan egg! It. Was. To. Die. For. Tastes just like home made with real egg!
AMBIANCE: 4/5 i love the whole place i just wish they had more comfy seats. Im prego and found it hard to seat on their high chair but didn't want the pollution outside with their lower chairs. But the artsy fartsy vibe, i dig with all my heart!
CLEANLINESS: 5/5
WORTH FOR MONEY: 5/5 a bit on the pricey side. I had to pay 600+ for 2 meals and a shake but the portions are worth it and the quality too!
CUSTOMER SERVICE: 5/5
As a believer of serendipity and seeker of peace and quiet, Kismet Café has really taken my interest as I’ve heard about it. Reflecting its namesake, Kismet Café is something that is found by fate as it is tucked in a corner along Kalayaan Ave., Brgy. Poblacion, Makati City. Who would have thought that there would be a serene and soothing café at a place surrounded by the towering buildings, noisy streets, and busy people?
Cute little cafe tucked away in a 'shady' corner of makati!
Good coffee, healthy sandwiches, wifi and a library of books to choose from.
During my visit here i had Americano and the Caprese Sandwich - toasted to perfection and tasty plus served with a bowl of tomato soup.
Another day i ordered couple of sandwiches via Foodpanda. Got the Healthy Hummus Sandwich and the Jalapeno Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Both came with small bowls of tomato soup. These sandwiches werent as tasty as the Caprese sandwich.

I didn't know that this café is just two blocks away from where I live. I am a vegetarian, due dietary restrictions, and there was this time that I craved for a tapsilog. I searched everywhere, only to find out that they offer a Tapsilog Burrito. I thought, at first, that it's kind of pricey but when they served it, I even took the half home and saved it for later. Truly sulit! 😍 I am not a fan of cinnamon but I love how the café smells.
The cafe has just a small space inside. But it was cozy and is a good place if you want to take a break from the busy street of Makati ave. Also the music they play is relaxing and very chill. I would definitely go back here again
Whenever we walk from Makati Avenue going to Rockwell, we never fail to see the various facets of life within those streets lit by neon and red lights. But what amazes us about the area is the fact that some of the best food places right in the city are located here. A small artistic café in just by the fringes is no exception.
Great coffee, super nice people, and a chill vibe...
I love Kismet Café!
(and it's only a v. short walk from Rockwell/Power Plant - definitely worth making the detour to find this gem of a place)
Thank you!😃
Kismet is a café offering vegan/vegetarian alternatives to those looking. It's a bright, quiet place to work in with free wi-fi and plugs. Food and drinks are a bit pricey. I recommend the hazelnut mochaccino.
We had the vegan cinnamon doughnut and americano. We love their coffee and pastry! Also, I am glad that they have soy instead of dairy milk, and it's free. I hope this will become the norm in cafés because, currently, they offer soy but with an additional fee. It's our new favorite café. My husband and I are definitely going to frequently visit. ❤️
cozy and colorful spot in the middle of poblacion. awesome spot for breakfast/brunch as they have super vegan lattes and baked goods. ask them to let you attempt your own latte art! its fun, or at the very least, funny. i specifically love the calamansi cakes and pesto panini. if the owners are in, grab a chat with them, nice, easy going and in the know.
Lovely place. Vegetarian food. Great ambiance. You can sit there and relax with a nice vegetarian panini and a shake. The owners are very cool guys.
Super near sa place ko kaya most of the time jan talaga ako tumatambay for a pot for tea. Each tea has its own benefits and for 95 pesos it's worth it kasi refillable! 😊 For every order mo meron kang free cookie that usually retails for 25 bucks. The best talaga is their slice of destiny as in swabe.. I'm a big fan talaga! Everything is vegan/vegetarian/organic which is nice but what amazes me is even owners and servers lives a clean life. They sell and they do. I wish they have more foods and cakes to offer! *sugar free ehem*.

The colorful walls and decorations are inviting, not to mention that they serve organic food and drinks. The plates, cups, and other utensils are unique. The Kismet Cafe is for the hippie-lovin' people. It's worth checking out.
They mostly serve snacks such as pizza, sandwiches, and jaffles (panini-like breads). They may be taken as light meals but the serving is generally huge. The price is reasonable.
I ordered Pesto Pocket Jaffle. It's 4 pieces toasted wheat bread with pesto paste, tomato and cheddar cheese. Food presentation really looked appetizing. However, the taste was awful because the bread got burnt! It tasted bitter and it was as hard as a rock!!! My teeth ached! Too bad I felt that way because I was expecting it to be delicious.
There were chopped raw carrots and cucumbers with delicious hummus dip as side dish. I loved the dip so much. It had the right mix of herbs! It tasted spicy but not overpowering.
For drinks, I ordered a cup of Tanglad tea. It tasted minty and refreshing. Instead of sugar, they offer wild honey as sweetener. Also, the drink came with a small vegan cookie that was soft, not too sweet, and best of all: guilt-free.
Ambiance is amazing. I went here to eat while working on a midday. It's quiet inside despite facing a busy road. Just mind your stuff once you step outside. It doesn't look that safe to me. Maybe that's why the cafe's sliding door was locked all the time.
I got connected to the wifi but it was fluctuating. Don't rely on it too much.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The owner seems hands on. I overheard his convo with a friend on organic food. He seems committed in promoting healthy food.
I could've rated it a 5 if not for the burnt jaffle. This is my kind of healthy coffee shop. I'm willing to give it a second chance to try other food.
The veggie food is delicious and healthy, also the service is courteous and efficient. The place has a relaxing, peaceful, unique retro style and instagramable decor :) I just love this hippie style cafe!
the place is very awesome to chill and relax. i always go to this place every time i want to have great conversation with my friends with their reasonable priced menu and friendly barista.
since the cafe offer organic and vegetarian choices, its a great place to eat healthy stuff.
