Authentic Korean taste. Good service from the staff addressing our requests. Would have given this a five if the samgyupsal cut was not that tick. Will probably go back to have the seafood bibimpap in a hot stone pot since that sort of got mixed up today. There are so many other dishes that I got to try out next time.

I am very grateful that we work near Kaya, Bel-Air. Our faves/usual orders are Samkyupsal (grilled pork belly), WuSamKyup (grilled beef belly), and Chulpan Ojingo (sizzling garlic squid) which all come with refillable lettuce. I also love their Dwenjang Chige (bean curd & seafood with soy bean paste soup) and Pajeon. But what brings me here a lot (at least once a week) are the very good complimentary side dishes, five-star service, and clean facilities. This has got to be my fave Korean resto. 😊

Had a late lunch at Kaya along Jupiter, Bel-Air III last March 13.  Great Korean Bibimpap lunch along with Coke Light. Very generous serving for its price! The vegetables that went along with it were freshly done. Rice was fluffy yet firm, which gave the dish much more tang. The staff was very helpful; when I requested to have extra spicy peppers to add to my bibimpap, they presented me not just one, but three choices. For those who want the bibimpap extra spicy, try to put in the kimchi which is served as appetizer, and you'll enjoy it :-)

Atmosphere was very hushed and there was ample space to dine in a very relaxed way. Thanks a lot, Kaya, for keeping up with your authentic Korean fare! Highly recommended indeed.

You are also welcome to read my tweets about Kaya on Twitter@Noel_Dolor. Posted my reviews last March 13 and were also well received

Went here with a cousin and was impressed by the ambience. Unlike other Kaya restaurants I've been to (BGC and Glorietta), this one has wooden furniture and unique decors on the wall. The lighting isn't like the others too so the mood here is better. Looks more like a fine-dining sort than the others.
Ordered their Samgyupsal but was disappointed because of the serving size and since it's mostly fat. Had to order additional Woo Samgyup instead.
We got ourselves a polite and smart staff so that's a plus.

Giving it a four because I'll definitely go back/recommend it to my friends.

Kaya is one of my favorite restaurants because of its fairly-priced dishes and clean interiors. I also frequently visit Kaya Express at Glorietta 2 because of their chicken katsu. Sadly, that dish is not offered at Kaya Bel-Air.

One of their signature dishes is the ramen in the photo. It's suppossed to be really spicy but we always ask it to be tempered down which the helpful wait personnel is happy to do.

The last time we visited, the owner and chef visited our table and asked how we liked our food. I thought that was very nice of him.

When it comes to Korean Food! Always proceed to Kaya as my daughter would always say! Imagine we ordered this much with 4 people?! 2 orders of Kalbi Jim, sizzling spicy squid, japjae, large mackerel, and unlimited side dishes! Spent around 2,500 and that's already with Soju! 😍👍🏼 we were so lucky that the owner was there. The Manager named Oscar greeted us and over heard him saying... "they have been eating here for more that 5-7 years now when their kids were still young" he told his Lady Boss... and because they know we're regular customers they always give us a lot of fruit dessert after our meal! My kids love to eat here! They make sure that we always visit Kaya once a month for our Korean Craze! Who knows.. i might see the Goblin eating here! 😂😂😂 ambience, people, staff, food & parking! Perfect! 👍🏼❤

Food: One of my fave Korean restaurant in Makati Avenue, Kaya is one of the oldest Korean restaurant which serves authentic Korean cuisine. Staple orders include Yukhoe (they serve clean, sweet, refreshing beef that always tickle my tastebuds), Kalbi Gui A (the beef that has sweet seasoning--you can ask them to cook it in the kitchen or by yourself) and Hameul Pajeon (well this one used to be good, but not a fan anymore).

I tried ordering Tukboggi (spicy rice cake) and it made me happy--soft and chewy rice cakes with right amount of spiciness. Yum. Samgyetang has mild, soothing broth that goes well with the tender chicken meat.

After each meal, they will give you either sliced oranges or pineapple.

Servings: The kalbi includes lettuce for wraps but I am not sure if it is included in other meat orders.

Service: I commend the manager for being a hands-on one, however service is on the slow side for the rest of the staff.

Location: Spacious, clean, pleasant environment with parking slots.

Will I come back again? Yes. I just wished they will bring back their ginger tea.

Ordered food for delivery from here for our Monday dinner.

Kaya Salad was good with sliced fruits and veggies in a nice black sesame dressing.

Dak Bulgogi - grilled chicken fillet - was good too. Marinated in a slightly spicy sauce.

Kalbi Jim - beef stew - was a tad disappointing with the meat being tough to chew.

The sides - like Kimchi, sayote namul and myulchi bokum (dilis) - were ok.

I have not been to KAYA Jupiter for sometime so it was a good revisit. The ambiance is the same warm staff., Korean regulars with Filipino friends ( or other nationalities). The good thing is that the cuisine is authentic Korean. We had Haemul Kimchi Buchujeon ( korean leek pancake with kimchi and squid) , Osam Bulgogi ( sizzling spicy pork belly with Squid and vegetables). Plain Rice and Top it off with Soju.  A bit over P 1,000.00 was the bill.  Can't complain about the service or the quality of the food. Parking can be a struggle if you are late. What we had was good for 4 people.  Kaya is consistent on quality and service.

If you want a korean place that isn't as noisy and crowded, Kaya is the best choice. This restaurant is very clean and spacious. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They serve typical korean food such as bbq grilling, japchae, koean omelet etc. This place serves good quality Korean food. Parking and credit card services aren't a problem.

Having been to South Korea myself and having a Korean employer, I can say that this restaurant is definitely one of the best in Metro Manila in offering authentic Korean dishes. It provides an extensive menu so there is a dish for everyone and good tasting side dishes.

These are the following food we ordered:

1. Kaya Salad - The choice of ingredients work well with the black sesame sauce.

2. Haemul Pajeon - It was rightly cooked and their sauce is not salty so it complements the pancake well.

3. Bulgogi - This wasn't served in a bulgogi pan, but the bulgogi sauce on the sirloin strips make up for it.

4. Bassak Bulgogi - It's soft, flavorful beef perfect with rice.

5. Kalbi Jim - The ribs are succulent in sweet and savory sauce. What I like here is that the meat can be easily removed from the ribs.

6. Jim Mandoo - It's similar to Chinese wanton dumplings but the dip that comes with it is soy sauce mixed with vinegar.

7. Chulpan Ojingo - Expect this dish to be spicy. However, the tender squid makes up for it.

8. Japchae - They sweet potato noodle dish has the right balance of sweetness.

9. Alamang Bibimbap - They normally serve it at a normal rice bowl. Make sure to ask it to be served at a hot stone bowl although you'll just add PhP 30.

Kaya has a very wide range of Korean food, so diners won't be limited to the usual bibimbap or samgyupsal, although the latter's really good. :D I especially like grilling the meat, but of course it's nice that the staff could do that for us. What's fun about Korean restaurants like Kaya is the fact that they also have various side dishes that are quite yummy and "pampaalis sawa." Most of all, I really love the Yukhoe - seasoned raw ground beef with egg! Sarap!

When I wasn't in the south yet, I thought of KAYA to be the ultimate place for a Korean gastronomic experience. So for a long time, we patronised this place loyally. Of course we would hear of places that serve an equally good Korean food but we would always go back to dear consistent Kaya:) yes that's what kept us going back there, their consistency in the quality of food they serve no matter how long we have been eating there :). Then my journey brought me to the south, where of course I've been introduced to the "Balwarte" of Korean locals at BF, but that's another story :) for now, it's Kaya!
They have upped their prices, which of course is not good to consumers like us who eat a lot, but what I admire is the consistency of how good the food is, which I have already mentioned earlier. Some restos would resort to austerity but increase in their prices, not this place, which is another reason why, when we are craving for Korean food, this is always the place we fall back to :)

When you're not sure what the menu is, there is always the accompanying pictures, but it is always good to ask the assistance of their knowledgeable servers, they are friendly and helpful :) you can even ask as much side dishes as you can consume (I love their kimchi!) and it's for free! :)))

It has been 5 years since the last time I ate in Kaya. Upon returning tonight after several years, I was greatly surprised when they served 8 types of banchan and a slice of post-meal pineapple, something they did not do before, specifically in the Powerplant branch. Actually, the main reason why it took me a while to go back to this restaurant chain was because the kimchi was sold as a separate item; banchan was not complimentary. In fact, there was no banchan at all. This present move to give side dishes as part of the meal is noteworthy. Otherwise, with the emergence of equally good Korean restaurants in the area which serve lots of banchan (some even allow free refill), Kaya will definitely lose clients, especially those who frequent these other establishments. It is also commendable that the food tastes better, and that the steamed rice is perfectly cooked. The service and dining experience could have been more satisfactory if only the female service crew knew how to smile.

Since my employer is a Korean we'd always have our lunch or dinner here considering also that our building is just less than 500 meters away. She would order the best dishes they serve all the time. And one of them is the beef stew which is really tasty. She would always fill our tummies with delightful foodies. Kaya is an authentic Korean restaurant!

Kaya started it all in the Philippines. They're the reason how I appreciated Korean cuisines and my standard for bulgogi and Korean appetizers. I love the place and services particularly in Bel-air.

This place is our favorite casual dining when me and my wife crave for that korean food. Our favorite here is the alamang bibimbap. Crab meat with egg with mixed seafood aligue on rice. Of course served kimchi as side dish. This course surely hits the spot. For beverage, the fresh brewed iced tea. This branch is very warm and cozy. The crew are nice and friendly. Very courteous.

Authentic Korean food! I HIGHLY RECOMMED THEIR BEEF STEW. Seriously the best Beef Stew for me. I enjoyed eating with my family here. For less than P1000.00 we were served with 4 (overflowing serving) dishes we weren't able to finish. The ambiance was excellent! They serve cold towels, too.

My go to Korean restaurant in Makati.
Kalbi Gui - good most of the time. Sometimes meat may be a little bit too overmarinated and too sweet. Fix it with the Korean red paste.
Ju Moo Lug - great most of the time. Ive had times when meat was a little too tough and a little too fatty but overall its been not bad. Great to eat w lettuce. or with the sesame oil, salt and pepper sauce.
Sundubu Chige - Okay. I crave for it and I eat here so I have no choice but Ive had better in other Korean restaurants
Kimchi Chige - Good but its really easy to make. The soup though is never enough not even for one person. It evaporates too quickly.
Pajeon - OK. Please try the Haemuljeon instead as it had seafood and is more tasty.
Yukhe - Good. Love meat and this raw meat dish is good.
This review is for Kaya Jupiter not Kaya casual dining Rockwell
