Coffee and cakes were too sweet for me, but still enjoyable.
No socket and I think no wi-fi as well but the mall has, so if you plan to stay longer with your not fully charged laptop, this may not be the place for you.

The Arroz Valenciana looks festive and tastes equally festive too! It's a dish filled with chorizo, shrimp, bell peppers, eggs and spices. It's a filling replacement to plain old rice, and adds color to your holiday feast.
The Home-Style Fried Chicken is my favorite! These are deep-fried buttermilk chicken pieces that are surely appetizing. I think I had seconds of this chicken alone! Gravy was on point too!
The Lechon Belly was tasty, however the piece I got had skin that was a but tough instead of crispy.
Of course, try their new improved favorites off their regular menu:
Mushroom Soup - Good old favorite. Thick and comforting, and even has actual shiitake mushroom bits and Italian sausage pieces.
Caesar Salad - Fresh Romaine lettuce, topped with chicken and bacon bits, dressed with parmesan cheese and traditional Caesar salad dressing
Aglio Olio Pasta and Carbonara Pasta - Both pastas were al dente, but the obvious winner was the Carbonara pasta because it was creamy and had lots of bacon. The Aglio Olio pasta was light and could use a few more garlic.

Can't believe Press have delectable desserts! They have the 4 Seasons Cheesecake-- that is Original, Caramelized Banana, Queso De Bola, and Hazelnut all in one luscious cake; Chocolate Moist Cake, and Ube Custard Cake. My Top 3 are Queso de Bola Cheesecake, Hazelnut Cheesecake, and Chocolate Moist Cake.
Meanwhile, the Cookie Sampler (Chocolate Chip, Cranberry & Raisins, Double Chocolate, and Double Mint Chocolate Chip in one tub) is also a delight! Loved the original choco chip and cranberry with raisins. I'm not into mint flavored cookies, that's why the mint choco chip cookie tasted funny to me. And the Bar Sampler (Food for the gods and Butterscotch in one tub), I really liked the Butterscotch bars-- it tasted a lot like what I had in another famous int bakery!
They also launched their Holiday Sets (good for 3-4pax) that're inspired by the staple menu items found on a Filipino noche buena and these are: the Set A which consists of their Arroz Valenciana, Homestyle Fried Chicken, and Press Iced Tea, while the The Set B has the same set and has an additional Lechon Belly. The Lechon Belly is tender on the inside, and cripsy on the outside. The fried chicken tasted okay, though the Arroz Valenciana is too sticky for me (or maybe I just like paella that has a different texture).
While we also tried their improved appetizers and mains: Mushroom Soup, Aglio Olio, Carbonara, and Caesar Salad. The mushroom soup was a great appetizer to start off with. While for the pastas, although I'm a fan of Aglio Olio but today, I'm on the Carbonara side (because it's creamy and has bacon bits.)

I’ve always loved Press even back when it was still Press Cafe, I believe they call it Press by Fully Booked now. My family and I like coming here because it’s a chill place, the food is affordable (esp when compared to most of the establishments in Power Plant Mall) and good plus the restaurant is modern yet still relaxed, clean, comfortable and spacious. And oh the service is great too. My (old) favorites are the Cheesy Eggplant (with minced meat and so good with rice and cheap too!), Pork Chops, Pesto Pasta and OMM or Onion Mushroom Mozzarella dip (these ones I can’t find in the menu anymore), Pumpkin Soup and Press Iced Tea. There are many others but those are our go-to’s. (P.S. Their quarter Roast Chicken with rice comes with Pumpkin Soup and Press Iced Tea too, FYI, not a bad deal at all.)
Moving on, I was lucky to be able to attend the launch of their 2019 Holiday sets and pastries (available everyday starting last Nov. 8 but it’s always still best to call ahead just to make sure everything you plan to order is in stock) which is what I’d like to share as well in my review.

🍖 in my photo (attachment) is the Holiday Set B ₱1499 (serves 3-4 pax) includes Arroz Valenciana, Lechon Belly, Buttermilk Fried Chicken and 4 glasses of Press Houseblend Iced Tea. The Arroz Valenciana is made traditionally with glutinous (malagkit) rice so it is sticky unlike a paella, packed with lots of protein and vegetables and is very filling. The Lechon Belly, as always is delicious but eat right away while skin is crisp. The deep fried buttermilk chicken, surprisngly, was so tasty I didn’t actually need much of the gravy/sauce.
There is also a Set A for ₱999 which is similar to Set B except minus the Lechon Belly.
I believe a glass of Press Iced Tea, a houseblend which I love, is priced at ₱100 and each set comes with 4 so it’s a pretty good deal IMHO.
We also tried some new and improved Press classics such as the mushroom soup, carbonara, aglio olio and caesar salad. Enjoyed both pastas but what stood out for me was the Mushroom Soup that really looked nothing like those canned cream of mushroom ones LOL and even better, the chef added Italian sausage along with shitake mushroom bits and croutons. My picture shows a sample serving only, the actual size served in the restaurant is larger and a steal at only ₱160.

🍰 4 Seasons Cheescake (₱1350), 4 flavors in 1: Queso De Bola, Hazelnut garnished with chocolate, Caramelized Banana topped with honeycomb, Original with whipped cream & fresh strawberries. This is is my favorite of all because (look at the photo), it’s not just delicious, it’s soooo pretty and a labor of love as the cake with different flavors is baked as whole and needs more than 1 person to make it in order to make sure the graham “walls” or dividers stay in place while the other one pours the cheesecake base. I’m definitely ordering this one! The Queso De Bola was divine, every variant was but this is my fave. I could eat a whole pack of those honeycomb toppings (semi-dipped in chocolate) too, please sell them hehe. Guests or recipients will surely enjoy this beautiful cake. I really love the idea of having 4 flavors in 1!
🍫 Chocolate Cake (₱1250), super moist with chocoate ganache & salted caramel layers topped with cashew crumble. Probably my seond favorite of the 5 new Holiday items because it’s a “classic” chocolate cake with a twist, it’s so moist and chocolatey plus I love salted caramel so this is definitely one of the best I’ve had.

This goes out to certified bookworms like me: imagine that you’re in your happy place ( a book shop, of course!), surrounded by shelves full of tomes waiting to be read and loved, the smell of book paper all around you. Suddenly, you start to get really hungry. Oh, just when you were so enjoying browsing through the books and picking out those you want to bring home with you!
The best oatmeal cookie in town. I’ll like it frozen coz it will provide you that candied bite... it’s comforting and addictive. Best paired with iced americano.

Friendly and accomodating staff. The price of their food ranges from 200-350. You can select salads, pasta, sandwiches and some baked goods.

The Frozen Brazo was my favorite. Pistachio Sans Rival was good too. Mocha Frappe had a strong coffee taste if you prefer that.

We were craving for a cookie that’s chewy and moist. Then we came across Press Cafe. The server said their cookies are chewy, so we decided to try some. We tried their Chocolate Chip Cookie and Mint Double Chocolate Chip Cookie and found them a bit moist but not that chewy. Taste was flavorful. My nieces loved the mint double choco chip one. Size was big (can be shared) and just right for the price.
Update: Got their Frozen Brazo at 50% off (P92.50 from P185) and they use Reusable Straws!

Good food. Good ambiance. The price are reasonable. I’ve tried some pastries it’s nice soft and moist. The pasta is nice. A good place to chat or even read book since it’s within Fully Booked
I miss the old menu of Press Cafe way back in early 2000s when it was still located at the ground floor of Powerplant Mall (now Zara) together with the then still extensive store of Fully Booked. However, some great things stay the same such as their cheese quesadilla with fresh salsa dip! Crisp and thin tortilla oozing with generous serving of melted cheese. For around PhP250, this is a staple when you just want a quick, light, yet satisfying meal!
Not sure on the name but I think the sandwhich is called Monte Cristo? It’s really good! Especially if you like cheese as much as I do! I also ordered their lemonade. It was a good balance to the sandwhich. Would go back to try out other items on their menu :)

I had their queso de bola cheesecake and a cup of latte. Their queso de bola cheesecake was good, with the right amount of sweetness and hint of saltiness, I liked it. The ambiance is also very relaxing, perfect for casual catch up or meetings.
A perfect place to settle down and read your purchase from the adjacent Fully Booked, Press Cafe is a sweet haven for your cup of joe and slice of pie.
My sister ordered a cappuccino. She describes this drink as follows: “if you want coffee, it’s coffee.” 😂
The apple pie is a delight. The crumble on top is perfectly crisp. And the dessert is not too sweet.
The carrot cake was very moist and generous with the cream cheese filling.
I will most definitely come back.
FOOD is excellent light dining. Dishes are not overwhelmed by the usual salty and mixture of strong heavy flavour sauce encountered in most restaurant.

I really like the ambience of this cafe. Press Cafe is located beside the Fullybooked in Rockwell. The place is good for reading while having some snacks or maybe if you want to have some snack or coffee time with your friends. I just hope they would have several power outlets available for customers so it would be a good place to work as well.
Good stuff and a solid place to get coffee, desserts and full meals. I love coffee and i love it even more when they also serve full meals. I hope for more branches from them.

Food is so-so, in my opinion, though. Not bad, but quite pricey considering serving sizes are small.
Their pastries are the true MVPs! I especially love their S'mores Bar, Sylvannas, and Strawberry Charlotte. Their savory offerings are pretty good, too. I always find myself ordering their Mozzarella Wands and Pressadilla.

Since the usual Press Cafe that I go to closed in Alabang. I suddenly missed the amazing frappucinos of Press Cafe. I ordered Caramel Frappucino with a cookie. The food and drinks are amazing as always. The service was nice too, the place is always full but I don't really mind coz the service doesn't suffer.
Press Cafe provides the perfect setting to immerse yourself in a good book! Being situated adjacent to Fully Booked makes it more convenient when you can't wait to peruse your recent purchase. The interior is chic, well-lit, and designed with books in mind; thus the stacked books counter and several books mounted on the walls. There were no walls separating it from the book store which added to the ambiance. Despite it being so open, the place is also perfect when you want to get some work things done without being too distracted. It's also a great venue to catch up with friends over food and drinks. Now, I haven't tried their food selection yet but I really did enjoy their coffee and their blueberry cheesecake. I would most likely to visit this place again.

Menu: not your typical coffee shop because on top of the usual pastries, they serve pasta, panini, tacos, salad and rice meals. Espresso is better than a more popular coffee shop 👍🏼
Service: This place is busy but the well equipped wait staff will not make you feel "abandoned".
This is my top choice so far for a coffee shop this side of town.

This resto has been my favorite ever since! I was saving as much as i can from my allowance just to dine here when I was in 1st year college. It took me three months to buy a decent meal here. I used to dine regularly on fast food like jollibee/mcdo due to financial constraints so dining on press café back then was a leisure.
I became a fan of this cafe because it is beside fully booked. Saturday means fully booked day. I could smell the aroma of their coffee and mozzarella sticks and such while i was reading some philo books and young adult novels. You could imagine how tempting that moment was.
But last night, our dine here was a bit disappointing.
Calamares didn't look presentable. Didn't like the taste as well.
Their salad is too pricey for its serving size and quality. I hated it. I miss their press salad. That was like one of the best ive ever had but now it's gone of their menu.
Pumpkin soup is relatively nice if you eat it right away. It felt like a mashed pumpkin when it got cold.
Roasted chicken tastes bland.
It should have been 2 but giving it a 3.5 coz of the good old memories i had with this place.

Press cafe is a restaurant owned by the people behind Fully booked. Imagine you get to buy your favorite book and you can immediately read it on their restaurant with a cup of coffee or a munch of your favorite fries or mozzarella sticks. We went there to celebrate a friends birthday. I was amazed by the great interior of the restaurant (it was literally full of books on their walls). We ordered Chicken quesadilla, Pumpkin soup, Mozzarella wands, Carbonara, Pork belly, Cheesy eggplant and Herb roast chicken
Chicken quesadilla (120php) - cheese, pesto, chicken and tortilla. A good way to start our meal. It's best to dip it with the sauce available.
Pumpkin soup (115php) - pumpkin puree cream. The pumpkin soup itself was not the usual, it was a bit spicy (maybe because there's too much pepper on it). My friend's mom asked the manager if they changed their usual soup (she's a frequent customer in the place and this was her favorite). The manager immediately responded and apologized for having too much pepper on the soup and they served us a new one which was much better (it was creamy and you could really taste the rich pumpkin on it).
Mozzarella wands (235php) - mozarella, parmesan and marinara sauce. Of course this would always be on my to order list and it didn't disappoint. Cheese lovers would really dig this sticks.
Carbonara (215php) - creamy pasta parmesan with country bacon. Nothing special on this dish. I really wish the pasta was in al dente style.
Pork belly (260php) - pork belly with barbecue sauce. the marinated sauce was a combination of sweet and spicy and the pork itself was soft and not that hard to chew.
Cheesy eggplant (180php) - eggplant, meat and mozzarella. Never imagined that eggplant can be combined with cheese and it actually works. The meat also complements with the two perfectly paired with a cup of rice (or two).
Herb roast chicken (290php) - slow roasted chicken with gravy and roasted vegetables. The chicken was tender but a bit bland on my opinion. Good thing the gravy saves the blandness of the chicken.
Overall, we enjoy eating at PRESS and would like again to commend the management for owning up to their mistake and immediately take actions on it. Will definitely go back to try their other dishes.
Dropped by Fully Booked, and my mom wanted to drink coffee so we stopped by here. I got their hot chocolate and their chocolate cookie dough brownie. Their hot choco was alright, a bit bland for me though. Haha, the 'art' on top is of santa, I think. The brownie is quite sweet, although I did like the cookie dough sprinkled on top, and the bottom portion - the middle not so much as it's the sweetest layer - at least for me.
Ambiance is alright and the service was okay too, granted, it was sort of slow but that's understandable as at the time they did have lots of customers.
Dropped in to have Ceaser Salad and Coffee.
The salad was ok, not as good as the Ceaser Salad at Salad Stop! next door (which, by the way, I consider the best Ceaser Salad in the metro).
Americano was good and the ambience was great filled with books from Fully Booked next door

We ordered Pumpkin Soup, Mozzarella Wands, Fish and Chips, Herb Roast Chicken and Cheesy Eggplant for lunch. Unfortunately, the server forgot to inform us that there was free Pumpkin Soup for every rice meal. So, we ended up with 3 bowls of soup. And to our dismay the soup was salty...it was such a waste. But, I like the concept of a cafe inside a bookstore. I hope they put up more branches soon 😊
Having a cafe beside a bookstore makes so much sense. Reading requires a food companion. A meal can just give your book more justice, it feeds the brain.
The branch here is much bigger and is really merged with Fully Booked. The interiors are way better too than than of Greenhills. The lights brighter, gives it more life.
My friend and I shared best selling Tres Leches as advised by wait staff. It's not the best of its kind I tried but I loved that this one had grainy texture. The nice milky moist was felt.
At Php 290, Roast Chicken meal was a steal. It came with Pumpkin soup (plain, nothing special) and Iced Tea. The great deal however is more on the meat. It was tender and flavor filled with or without its gravy.
I suggest also having their own special rendition of fries and Quesadilla for a light meal.

I have a love-hate relationship with Press Café. I love their food but whenever i shift my gaze near the counter and i see those hardbound open-faced books on their wall, i frown in disappointment.
Anyway, disappointment aside due to the sheer barbarity done to those poor books. It being a Wednesday and we were in traffic capital of Asia. We decided to hang at Press Café till the traffic is dies down. We wanted something light after devouring the Chow Mien downstairs. I got my usual drink - Lemonade. He on the other hand got the Strawberry Milkshake and an oatmeal cookie.
I picked the seat in the corner and we waited silently for the food to be served. Albeit the torture they are inflicting to the books, the café reeks of solitude and calm. The furniture reminds me of a garden, pastel colors. The lighting is good as it makes the place bigger.
The food was served after a couple of minutes. My lemonade is perfect as always, sour with subtle hints of sweetness. I am certain that they dont use sugar as sweetener, i am 99% sure that they use honey. Lemon and honey is a match made in heaven. He liked the cookie a lot, he said it is chewy and not overly sweet. The milkshake is good too. Any milk infused drink is good, it has a calming effect. Why? Milk was a primary form is sustenance when we were kids. A baby calms down when fed by their mother. Evolutionary Psychology dictates that this trait evolved and is part of the behaviour of the modern man. Natural Selection,

I love Fully Booked. It’s one of my happy places when I’m in the mood to see quirky notepads, fangirl on the latest manga or swoon over interesting books. I have been meaning to try Press Café, the coffee shop inside Fully Booked, Rockwell branch; but for some reason, it always get cancelled…until the night I met John Wick.
A few Couchsurfers and I were supposed to meet at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf a few Saturdays ago but since it was crowded, we decided to meet at Press Café instead.
We were just supposed to have coffee but it was my first time to dine there so… I just have to order at least three dishes. I went with Eggs Benedict (PHP260), Tomato soup (PHP125), Grape shake (PHP110) and an Oatmeal cookie (PHP70).
First served was my grape shake and it was refreshing. It wasn’t overly sweetened.

Aglio Olio
They used angel hair pasta in their version. I find the serving size small given that the pasta was already thin. Anyway, what they lack in size, they make up in flavor. It was simple but jampacked. I tasted evoo, garlic and some parmesan. Added a little bit of chili flakes and it made a wonderful meal.
Press chops
This is a meal I can have everyday. The porkchops were tender and its marinade tasted of oyster sauce and maybe ketchup or something. It was tangy and sweet. It was addicting and the meal comes with a side of grilled zuccini, eggplant and tomatoes and all were good!
Calamari
Very good! It was not drenched heavily in flour. The coating was light and seasoned well. It was crispy but not rubbery. The tartar sauce was bland.
Grape shake
They had a really good grape shake! There were bits of grapes and it was not all ice. Not too sweet.
Tres leches cake
This one capped off my dinner at Press cafe! It was so milky, I wanted to go to sleep right away! Hahaha it was smooth. The crust tasted of digestive biscuits and the chiffon was soft.
I was asking recommendations from friends on where can I eat and work at the same time that has power outlets. It lead me to this cafe that is near the cinemas since I was watching a movie after my early dinner. I got myself a pumpkin soup which is rich and well prepared, and I did like the flavor. What surprised me was the chicken roulade wrap which can be for sharing. It was really good, and had enough servings that made me filled. I would consider this as my work space which has some delectable options in their menu.
The "reader's comfort zone" ambiance was really just right! The menu was also more flexible than your usual cafe however it needs an improvement in terms of the taste of their coffee and cheesecake. I may not be a dessert fanatic but I could appreciate a good cheesecake but I was quite disappointed with theirs. But then again, maybe I just set very high expectations given the vibe that I felt when I first saw this place. We also just ordered from the desserts and coffee list so I will definitely try other food from their menu next time.
It's a matter of getting the basics right. Press may be nothing fancy but they got the essentials perfected! And above all the service is really great.
Food and serving is great! It was my first time to try having lunch at Press Cafe, and I can say, I was satisfied! The Press Chops alone was very fulfilling. They were really generous with their serving, even to their milkshakes. This will definitely not be my last time having lunch here.
If you want to chill, read a book, and drink coffee at the same time, head to Press. Their newly renovated store boasts classy wooden interior matched with well-lit ambiance and inspiring wall that greets when you dine in.
I ordered my all-time favorite Mango Crunch matched with an extra hot Flat White. Both good and complemented well. The only disappointment was the Carrot Cake. It was tough to bite. Seemed not recently prepared.
If you find yourself in Rockwell & wishes to have a quick no brainer meal, & a break from the usual ubiquitous coffee shops, then try Press Cafe.
I usually have their Chicken Roulade which is a fave. But since i just wanted something light, I tried their solo quesadilla & Caramel Iced Coffee. Nothing special with both but not disappointing either. As I said, this is your trusty no fuss cafe.

Awesome relaxing place to have a meeting or just to work amongst all the books. I love this place because it's basically the entry to Fully Booked. As I'm a passionate reader about business and personal development it's just a few steps away from where u eat to these sections of books in the bookstore. Hence even more Awesome!
Today I tried one of the October Pasta Specials... Mushroom Pasta - Linguini with sautéed button and oyster mushroom, white wine, be channel and truffle oil. A nice dish even if your not into pasta. Probably could have added a little more truffle oil to increase its softness
So if u love a nice quite area, get heaps of work done or simply relax and have access to any book you desire then this place is to be in Rockwell! :)

Press has become one of my favorite hangouts in Rockwell since I moved here this school year. As a student, I need places where I can both study with coffee or dessert and eat my meals so I don't have to keep moving places, and Press is just the right place!
They have the right ambiance too. I love the theme; somehow being surrounded by books is comforting. Several tables are usually filled but it isn't too noisy, and it definitely doesn't seem crowded. The place is well-lit and is usually full during the weekends, but during the weekdays it's the perfect place to lounge around when you don't want to hang out in Starbucks or Coffee Bean.
As for the food, I order the Press Chops every single time. The rice meals are good value for your money, although you'll have to wait a little longer if you order the Herb Chicken. Their pasta tastes good -- I love the Carbonara and the Mac and Cheese (which is extra cheesy) and my friend recommends the Seafood Arabiatta -- but the servings are small and don't exactly leave me full so I don't like to eat it without an additional order. I like that they also serve lemon service water. Also, everytime I want to eat ice cream in the area, I almost always go to Press!
I've already recommended it to my family, and I go at least once a week, so that's saying something!

Press Cafe is located inside the fully booked bookstore. It has a quiet ambiance, good lightings, nice music and of course, packed with books. Their counter is super ❤️.
I ordered the Java Chip Frappe (P135)
It was creamy and sweet, my kind of drink
We also had the Mozarella Sticks (P195)
It was served with marinara sauce. Great combo hehe
Nice simple food with great flavours. Press is quietly tucked away on the third floor of power plant behind Oliver's just in front of Fully Booked - if you didnt look close enough you'd probably miss it. But it sure is worth a look. Press has a simple but variety full menu from little pastries to pasta to burgers to half chickens.
Burgers and pasta are our go to foods here. Tonight my girlfriend had the Pasta Arrabiata spicy and sweet red sauce packed full of seafood on top of spaghetti. My girlfriend doesn't usually eat spicy food but this one she loved. So did I.
I've eaten here before and the burgers are pretty good too. So definitely worth a look specially if you've run out of ideas of where to eat in Rockwell - or if you're in a rush for a movie. Allow 15 mins for serving time ;)
It was the first time I've been here. The place is neat. I ordered lasagna which is my favorite, it was creamy with redsauce on the inside and a little bit of white on top with a right amount of cheese. Overall Im happy with it. Top 4 on my list when it comes to lasagna and Im willing to comeback for it too.
