Service was quick and the servers were attentive. Loved the food.
Definitely of the best Ramen places in Manila. We had Akamaru with chasu and it was a delight to our palate. The broth was heavenly and the noodles were cooked perfectly. We recommend to accompany your bowl of hot ramen with their gyozas.
Not my first time at Ippudo but definitely my first non-Tonkotsu ramen.
Their mushroom ramen is legitimately good. It’s not lacking in flavor thanks to the fried (I think) mushrooms. Tofu to replace the chashu kept everything balanced texture-wise since I ordered mine with hard noodles.
Only thing I did was added garlic (because I love me some garlic) and a bit of ground pepper for a bit more spice.
It’s a rich broth that did not make me look for the flavor of pork. It’s filling but did not leave me feeling bloated.
Service was good. Not as fast as it was when I first ate here, though that’s because there were more people at Ippudo today.
Good noodle, Good Soup.
But it's really too expensive.
I tried many Ramen restaurant in Metro Manila.
Each Ramen shop has their own characteristics.
And I don't think IPPUDO's ramen has such value.
One of the best ramens in Manila
Place is great and inside Greenbelt 5. However, this is not the resto if you’re looking for quiet and cozy ambiance. It’s common to hear staff talking in a loud voice.
Food - ramen is cooked perfectly. We really finished the entire bowl. For the appetizers, gyoza and pork bun are our faves.
Service - staff are attentive and friendly. No need to ask for water refill as they will quickly refill it. Food is delivered hot and within 10 mins. Many people are lining up but don’t worry as there’s quick turnaround.
Price - just right for its quality of food and service
In my opinion, this is the best ramen in the Philippines. Better than Mendokoro and you won't have to wait that long. I ordered Tantamen which just has the right spice that's perfect for a rainy day.
Nothing makes me happier than a bowl of rich tantanmen. It’s so rich and heavenly, you’ll literally dream about it. I had one last week in Megamall, and after a couple of days, my bf and I just had to have another bowl in Greenbelt. It’s that good!

Didn't know they already have a branch in Greenbelt so we decided to try this out.
Overall, good service, queu was fast (max 10 mins waiting), food was also prepared immediately. Ramen was amazing! Finished everything up to the last sip of broth ❤️
It's now on my top 3 best ramen list (after Mendokoro and Ramen Nagi ofc). I had Arakama Tamago and gyoza as sides. Gyoza on the other hand was quite pricey but the taste was just so-so compared to Mendo's gyoza which I love so much.
I finally had the chance to return after my experience in BGC that was not so good. But now I realize that maybe I’m just not a Shiromaru person. I’m a Tantanmen person — I love spicy and flavorful food. I’ve been drooling over Ippudo’s photos of Tantanmen; now thanks to BDO’s promo, I had the “drive” to try it, and I loved it.
The “famous” pork buns aren’t really my thing, though. I guess I’m just not really into bread/pao. Won’t they make a “toasted” version of it?
I give 5/5 for service. Everyone was attentive and friendly. Our glasses of water were refilled even without us asking.
We ordered for yokohama ramen. Its a special menu from ipudo. There is promo if we ordered any special ramen + unlimited ice tea. We shall get free bun. The noodle is good and al dente. The soup is super masarap. The roasted pork also excelent. Its an awesome dining experience
Nice place but need to line. I order their karaka special with soft noodles. a bit spicy but it's great because of thier soft noodles. it's easy to locate
Great ambience, friendly service and awesomely tasty Ramen is the summary of the Ippudo at Greenbelt.
I had the Yokohama Iekei. The best part of this dish is the broth which is a mixture of Paitan and tonkotsu. Try this with the medium texture noodles and an extra egg.
For the dessert don’t miss the Matcha Creme Brulee The base is a finely made caramel custard with a crystalline finish and topped with vanilla ice cream.
My first taste of Ippudo ramen was back in Tokyo. Well, it wasn’t the actual Ippudo but an offshoot branch of it. It tasted good, and really warmed up the chilly afternoon. As it is still pretty hot here in Manila, will one of their branches here give me that same warm feeling?. I think that their branch over in Greenbelt is one of their new ones. Their seating capacity was ample with having enough for group and solo diners. What captivated me was the wall decal with multiple spoons, and the words “ramen” and “Ippudo”.
Their Nanban Karaage is a MUST-TRY! I'd also highly recommend their Ebi Tempura Roll. Ippudo also has great service - they're quick and attentive. The place was packed yet our party of 3 was able to get seats right away. Overall, I really like this place and would visit again.
Ippudo in greenbelt 5 is the latest branch of ippudo in manila. I like the type of noodles and the flavorful broth. We usually get the two flavors below:
1. Shiromaru - is the classic flavor for those who are starters, just order the "shiromaru motoaji" with medium firmness.
2. Akamaru - similar to hiromaru but with garlic oil and spicy flavor... the spicy flavor is tolerable! This is perfect for me.
The tamago on both ramen is cooked perfectly where the yolk is creamy but not runny.
The best way to celebrate your birthday is to go to this restaurant. Just order atleast 3 noodles and the 4th bowl is free!
Kudos to manager Carla and server paola. Very accomodating and great service!
Ippudo is one of my favorite go-to places for a hearty meal and when I don't mind bulking up on extra calories. :p
On most of my visits, I usually devour a bowl of steaming hot Karaka-men. Being a fan of spicy dishes, I was so glad they included tantanmen in their menu. Heheee
Ippudo's Tantanmen gave me an explosion of flavors. I fell for the great balance of nuttiness, kick of spices, and the creaminess from the perfectly poached egg. The charsiu was very tender and the ball of minced meat (forgive me, IDK what it's called 😂) was very flavorful.
What made my dining experience even greater are the staff and the service. The staff took extra time to ask me if I have any food allergies (not quite often do I get asked about it!!!). That's a plus hehehe.
It was my 2nd time to dine at Ippudo. The first time was at SM Megamall branch. Was super excited to try it on this branch since kakaopen lang sa Greenbelt. The ambience and service was good. The crew was also attentive. I ordered the Akamaru Special and it tastes like just a normal ramen for me. I can't remember what was the ramen I ordered before but I can compare that this is not as tasty as the first one I tried and also from the other ramens I've tried. I might not order this again when I get back here (or babalik pa ba ako? Lol jk) Might give their Tantanmen a try next time. 😊
The service here was great. Kim is so attentive and she explain the menu to us because it's our first time here. Our server Daryl is friendly too! I Iike the way she interact with the guest. But we notice that the glass has a crack while we are drinking. Carla the manager talked to us immediately regarding the incident. And I appreciate the gesture to make an apology. That's what you call service! . 😊
Ippudo, my personal top 1 ramen place in Ph. If there's 10 stars here, I'd rate them 11. I just love their ramen. What I really like is their rich broth, but not too much to the point that you'll get "umay"; I also like that you can choose the hardness of your ramen's noodles. A bit pricey... but "sulit".
I'd recommend these (my faves) to those who don't know which one to pick from their menu: Akamaru Chashu (spicy), Karaka Chashu and Yokohama Iekei. As complement, you'd also want to add hakata gyoza and iced tea (bottomless); these two will bring your experience to perfection.
Ippudo ramen, has perfected it's signature ramen taste. It is paired with delicious appetizers and dishes that compliments their ramen. I love how they simplify their drinks so that you could fully experience their Ippudo Ramen. I really love eating here, they have good ambiance paired with smiles and courteous greetings. I suggest you try my favorite pork bun dish! 2 thumbs up for sure!
We ate here yesterday and it was a great experience. The staffs were attentive and we were immediately led to a table. They assigned a staff to us and was able to serve us our orders without a hitch! I ordered the Yokohama Iekei Ramen which seems to be a new one since it’s not on the menu here on Zomato but it tasted good! The noodles were pretty thick and the egg was great, plus the meat too. Love it! Would definitely go back. The place isn’t too big but it looks good.
Awesome experience. Previously no vegetarian options in this place, but now the Mushroom Ramen (quarterly special that I hopes becomes a permanent fixture).
Wait staff were excellent in explaining, and understanding, what vegetarian may mean (told me the noodles were egg based and that tofu is usually cooked with pork broth but can, and was, cooked separately).
The dish itself was exceptional... all I expected from an authentic ramen, I literally cleaned the bowl (as did my Wife with her traditional pork based ramen).
Here’s hoping this dish remains along with the excellent service from Dwight and his manager!
Ever want some ramen but having second thoughts because it is too heavy for dinner? Well, I have good news for you! Ippudo has now a lighter option for ramen lovers, their Mushroom Ramen! Ippudo’s first ever non-pork based ramen. Yup, the base is not made with pork but with fresh, hand-picked white button mushrooms and infused with house-made miso paste and fragrant garlic oil.
Ippudo is one of the best ramen places I've tried. The shiromaru special with its flavorful tonkotsu broth is topnotch. Always add freshly minced garlic to bring out the richness of the soup. The chashu is okay, but could be played up more perhaps by torching the pork to make things more interesting.
Don't miss out on the pork buns either... They're a decadent savory treat what with the fattiness of the pork combined with Japanese mayo. I love the bun itself too.
The lemonade was a surprise hit for me. Just the right tartness with a sweet note at the end to cleanse the palate after a savory gastronomic experience. Totally worth it for just P120 for an unlimited serving.
The matcha creme brulee was okay. I preferred the matcha green tea ice cream I had before.
Our server was Kaine and he was very attentive to our needs. Just wish there were more table napkins and the garlic should be refilled before the next guest comes in. Also, the aircon can be a bit strong in some areas.
Food 5/5
Service 4/5
Ambience 4/5
Value for money 5/5
If you're someone who enjoys eating at Ramen Nagi, you will definitely like Ippudu just as much. Both of them are in the same price range and equally just as good.
All the servers are friendly but some are not too attentive. They don't have disposable chopsticks in this branch too. Ordered the Yokohama Lekei and Torched Salmon Roll, so good! Brought home some pork buns to go, too.

Great service and great food. Was able to dine with my family and tried more than 2 different kinds of ramen. There’s the vegan ramen that will be launched soon (mushroom based) as I was selected to try it for comments, there’s one for kids (my 1yo and 5yo enjoyed it) that is not spicy and creamy and the one I enjoyed which is pork based with just the right kick of spice. Of course the side orders are my favorite- buns and salmon rolls.
Our ordered:
- Shiromaru original (No topping)
The soup is perfect, not to thick and good. For the noodle is super fit for me (soft) and thin noodle which I like so much.
- Akamaru special
The spiciness and the soup is just right, and combining with curly thin noodle (medium).
Because is not enough, I ordered extra noodle (curly thin noodle)
Service is good.
I was 63rd in line for their opening promo and yes, I was alone when Greenbelt exactly opened its doors at 11am, rushed upstairs and I was freakin' 63rd!
Upon the issuance of the stub, some of their servers gave free cold tea, but then I don't drink cold drinks so I politely said that "No thanks, I need hot tea." with a smile. I didn't even expect the staff would come back for me with a boling hot tea!! Not warm, but hot! That's when they made me feel special (lol). I have read that I was entitled to get one FREE signature ramen and I chose the Shiromaru Motoagi since my stomach is already grumbling and I got seated at exactly 12:10pm.
My spot was perfect, I am seated alone on the couch and just one big bowl of soft noodled Shiromaru ramen in front of me! I'm just kinda hestitant and felt a bit bad because I didn't have additional orders with me unlike the one who was seated next to me, alone too, but she ordered a set of gyoza-- and me, I'm just a savvy foodie who took advantage of their promo. And it was my first Ippudo ramen! The serving size was huuuge, and all I can say is that it was definitely delicious. Definitely worth the wait and the queue! The servers inside are also attentive, even the manager who always gave me warm-hot water.
I just hope I'd be able to go back here someday and try out their other ramen. [Last visited, Jan 2019]
