The pastries here are good. I especially like the molten lava cakes and tuna buns that they have. The price is reasonable for the quality . .
As always, PO is living up to its good reputation that thee is no doubt that whatever one buys from them, one never gets disappointed.
A friend bought this when he came over to visit so I can’t comment on the customer service 😁, and I didn’t get to see the cake before it’s deconstruction, but that what they left for me was so good!
My new favorite pastry shop!!! The Chocolate Campfire is to die for!! The marshmallow icing is thick and gooey makes you wana eat all the icing at one sitting!
Pistachio Stardust
We got this for an office birthday celebrant, since we are blocks away from Purple Oven.
This cake is to die for. It’s light but the flavor of the filling is perfect, and the cake is moist. I really enjoyed it more than say Campfire which was super sweet for my taste.
The place is awesome with desserts! We frequently order cakes and brownies here and i personally love their brownies... this time we ordered the sansrival and it tastes good as well
Birthday? Anniversary? Or you just simply want to some cake? Why settle for anything less when you can have superb cake anytime. Purple oven is always the place for great cakes. The price is a little bit high compared to the more popular bakeries, but the price is well worth it. The freshest ingredients and flavors that pops in your mouth and makes you crave for more.
Before the 6pm mass at Sacred Heart, I decided to pass by Purple Oven for some snacks. Pity, they ran out of savory pies since they have very good meat pies and sausage puff. I ended up with their Cheese Roll and mini Banoffee Pie.
In terms of cheese rolls, I prefer Mary Grace over Becky's Kitchen or Purple Oven. Another good thing going for Mary Grace is that they could either grill or heat (with an oven toaster) your cheese roll. Purple Oven has set baking times for their products so it' s best to get them fresh from the oven or a few minutes after because they won't indulge you with heating your chosen baked product. In terms of taste it does not lag far from Mary Grace, it's the additional services done willingly that counts for me.
Their Banoffee pie is one of the best available locally. This is the reason why they were the pastry supplier of choice by Starbucks Philippines. The combination of bananas, semi-sweet chocolate sauce, chocolate shavings and cream is perfect. Added to this, the ratio of filling to crust is spot on. Other banoffee pies have too thick a crust, that it diminishes from the enjoyment of a slice.
Grandma's Chocolate Cake is the best chocolate cake I've had (sorry Chocolat!). My SO and I would just walk there from BGC to buy a cake (we're pigs, jk). It's an awesome reward and gift to anyone you love. We also tried the sansrival cake but it's pretty average. Since it sat for a while in our fridge, It got pretty yucky. The buttercream is a little too much on the lardy side. Stick to the chocolate, folks!
Purple Oven has the yummiest and not over priced cakes in the Metro! I swear. Not to mention that their cakes really look pretty too. As you can see, I even used this (photo below) White Chocolate Sanrival Cake for my daughter's dedication coz why not?
Chocolate Lava Cake is the bomb!!!
Pistachio cake is good for all ages. Cake is fluffy and frosting is not too sweet.
My favorite is their sausage roll. I always order it after my morning mass.
If I could turn back time there would be 3 things that I would do. 1.) Convince Hitler to stay in Art School 2.) Buy loads of google stocks in 2003 3.) Do whatever it takes to keep Purple Oven as the pastry provider of Starbucks in the Philippines. Once a upon a time this was how things were, you can go enjoy a slice of delectably sweet and tangy lemon torte while having a cup of pike place blend in one location. Now you can just find purple oven in a handful of stand alone stores in the metro. I’m glad that we have purple oven in Makati, it helps me relive the good ole times when good coffee was paired with event better pastry.
It will be the birthday of the man of the house tomorrow so decided to drop by Purple Oven to buy a birthday cake.
Took me a a while to make up my mind. Decision was difficult because all the cakes looked scrumptious.
I opted to go for a cake we have not tried before. The Mango Walnut Torte looked divine on its quiet yellow and white simplicity.
Akso ordered half a box of lemon bars, 1 tuna turnover and pizza twist for the bunso
Chocolate dome cake last Valentines Day, pa heart day cake ni hubby for me, parang choco mousse yung loob nia, worth it naman yung price kahit mahal, first na binili namin is yung chocolate camp fire..
May mga bread and pastries din sila.. They have few tables din kung gusto nyo kumaen at mag chill lang dun.
I love everything here!!! Cakes are to die for👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I’m so glad na my house is so near na kapag nag crave ako sa campfire and oreo cheesecake anytime pwede ko pumunta

Chocolate chip with macadamia cookie is a must try 5/5
Campfire cake 5/5 my TWINS love love this: moist chocolate cake with chocolate chunks in between topped with a generous marshmallow icing
April 28, 2018 Love love love love love chocolate campfire cake! It's a smores cake with marshmallow icing and lots of ooey gooey chocolate inside the chocolate chiffon cake. There are also chocolate bits in it. Bannoffee Pie!!! Now I know who supplies Starbucks. Best little banana, caramel, Graham crust pies with loads of cream on top. Eat moderately or plan a cheat day because one slice will definitely be not enough.
What else can I say except the cakes here are so delicious? Whenever there is an occasion, birthdays and other gatherings, we used to buy cake here. I'be tried pistachio stardust, classic sansrival, rustic chocolate torte, white chocolate sansrival, chocolate campfire but dark chocolate mocha sansrival is the best! Definitely a must try 😁
Sugar and spice and everything nice. Good location and perfect desserts to all sweet tooth. Thank you purple oven for being our ever reliable sweet tooth fairy.
We are supposed to order cheese roll but they have designated time for each menu to be served. I hope they post it online so we'll know when to visit the place. So we ended up a savory bun something with cheese and broccoli and it tastes so good. Maybe, it's a blessing in disguise that the cheese rolls are not yet ready by 9am. 💞

Hello/Hi I ask question paano mag order ng cake then meron po bang delivery fee within barangay. Rizal Makati City near market market and Sm aura. And how much the campfire cake 😊 Thank you!
Friendly staff with a wide selection of products too choose from. We were originallu planning to buy Chocolate Campfire but unfortunately it was sold out so instead we availed of Granma's Chocolate Cake. It was haven of chocolate that would definitely satisfy your sweet tooth. 💕💕💕
Friendly and efficient staff, perfect if you plan to just grab and go.
Grandma's Chocolate Cake remains to be popular. But I recently fell in love with the Rustic Chocolate Torte. Their cookies are a perfect mix of soft and crumbly, salty and sweet..
There are several tables available inside the store for when you want to sit and savor their fresh-from-the oven pastries.
Parking can be a challenge as space is cramped.
Have you tried Gradma's chocolate cake? It's a must! You have layers of chocolate icing, chocolate layers and whole chocolate chunks in between. It's truly something I think my lola would make, it's generous with the chocolate but not overbearing.
Cakes: great!
Ambience: good but better if airconditioning is working.
Service: OK. The cashier could've been more accommodating if she smiled and answered questions with a bit more energy. Maybe she was tired or having a bad day.
Pistacho Birthday Cake - very light, creamy and fluffy. My family of 6 can finish this in 2 days. Yup, its that good!!! 💙
Try their brownies and lemon square too!
I had their double dip cookie while my aunt had their pork bun. Freshly baked, indeed! Their double dip cookie was soft and chewy! It is not messy to eat and it is not too sweet! The size was also big enough for its price of P65. Sorry I wasnt able to take a photo because I ate it right away. My aunt told me their pork bun was also good for P65. We also had their campfire cake which was very delicious! Big size, not too sweet, moist, chocolate-y. I love Purple Oven!
A fantastic stopover for freshly baked cookies after mass.
"Cinnamon Raisin Pretzel" is very soft. Imagine eating a bagel tied into a knot. This should have cream cheese! I really wish!
"Little Banoffee Pie" has an excellently smooth and creamy flavor!
"Sausage Bun" is okay. I'll probably buy it if I had no more choices left or to get my tummy filled.
Their Chocolate Campfire. Crazy delicious. The Marshmallow icing is surprisingly not that sweet. I love how moist the sponge cake was and it was heavy on the tummy too. It also has that chocolate filling in the middle. This cake now belongs to my top Chocolate Cake list.
Purple oven will always stand out as one of the most loved bakeries in the metro manila scene and surprisingly you can find them in those hole in the wall places such as this branch in San Antonio village. They're known for the cakes and pastries but their revel bars and lemon bars are to die for if you have that sweet tooth. Although for this particular day I wanted to try their mango bars, the sweetness is not bad although it lacked the taste of mangoes for me and maybe the long after taste followed. Somehow I may be able to return once more here and try their other delectable delights soon since it's near my other office in Bagtikan.
The best cake to buy on your brithday and everyday.
Love their strawberry shortcake.but sometimes out of stock. Maybe should be ordered beforehand.tiramisu was good. Best chocolate lava cake ever. Campfire cake was moist and not too sweet as exepcted of marshmallow. Which is great. I am always craving for their cakes. Hope they will open more branches near binondo.
I'm happy to know that Purple Oven seems to have very consistent service. I've been to 4 of their branches around the metro, and the one in nuvali, and service is always good.
Of course... their cookies are one of my favorites!!! The Double Chocolate Cookies are awesome! 😍 They're moist, chewy, and they have this gooey chocolatey goodness too.
Their cakes and other sweets are really good too. The Strawberry Kiss Cake, Lemon Squares, and Chocolate Crinkles are usually my top picks.
Food: I ordered their blueberry cheesecake for my birthday and I must say it was not that sweet, had a generous blueberry topping and thick cream cheese. Even up to three days, it was still perfect with a cup of tea.
Price: Value for your money because they don't scrimp on the ingredients. The taste justifies the price.
Location: The store is hard to find if you are not familiar with the area. The store is clean, had a small space for few chairs because most customers here buy take away goodies.
Will I come back again? YES. I will come back for the chocolate lava and carrot cake.
I am an apple pie snob. I want crunchy apples in my pie, crumbly buttery crust and streusel and the right amount of cinnamon. And I am so glad to have all these in Purple Oven's apple pie. Price is reasonable and size was alright. My only and single qualm --- no cream!!! I prefer clotted cream (so british! Still looking for some really good clotted cream here in Manila) over vanilla ice cream. If you have a hankering for some really good, crumbly and buttery pie, buy one or two of these. ☺️
I love their Pistachio cake because it's not too sweet yet it still tastes good. Simple and plain but the has a distinctive taste of Pistachio nuts.
It was a busy work day that I did not even notice it was almost time to go home. While waiting for the clock to tick seven, me and my colleagues got into a dialogue about food and the restaurants we've tried. Since my seatmate is also a foodie, our chit chat made a left turn to the alley of sweets and pastries, as he asked if I have already tried this bakeshop rumored to supply the pastries of top coffee shops -- Purple Oven. The name was new to me so he immediately showed me pictures of the goodies they offer. He was so enthusiastic about the place (and since I am a fool for sweets), I immediately asked for the location and store hours.
I usually go to Purple oven to satisfy my cravings. I love their cookies! We usually get their chocolate dippef cookies and the one with reese's ❤️ I'm also in love with their cakes!
3 things that comes into mind when I see 'Purple Oven'
1. My first love- Bannoffee Pie. ♡
Its banana chunks and caramel sauce is just amazing.
2. Pistachio Stardust- my new love. White chocolate chiffon cake with pistachio is truly heavenly.
3. Apple Crumble pie- a personal favorite.
Apple chunks with cinnamon sauce and crumby bits of toppings are simply irrisistable. ☆
Where do I start? Who doesn't like dessert? Admittedly. Haven't tried everything but so far I've enjoyed what I have tasted. Best so far is their lava cake! So good !
First time i tried their chocolate cake with caramel...oh it is heaven! My friend brought it during our pot luck session and i just had to bring a slice home with me. It's not too sweet. I love it!
Rustic chocolate torte was my chosen cake when i get there at San Antonio. I was attracted to the dark chocolate strips on top of the cake. the cake was surrounded by almond nuts. No chiffon actually. But layers of graham i think, nuts and cream on the inside. Revel bar has always been the best here. I have also tasted Grandma's chocolate cake. But i bet for rustic.
I've heard about purple oven numerous times and, I've tried their revel bars before. Not much of a fan of it but, I was looking forward on having a taste of their cakes.
My friend lives nearby so when I was there for a visit, we decided to come by for desserts. There were only a few seats if you wanna hang out for a while but, majority of the people who do go there opt for takeout. They have a wide selection of cakes for you to pick but, they dont serve them sliced (bummer). They sell it as whole cakes but, they also offer other pastries and minicakes if you just wanna snack on 'em.
We got the mini carrot cake and, their banoffee pie. Both equally good, and their banoffee pie tastes just like what they have in starbucks. But I like the carrot cale even more. I'm a huge fan of carrot cakes and, the cake itself was very moist and the frosting wasn't too sweet for me.
I'd say for a little over 100php, they're a steal. I look forward to trying their signature cakes next time seeing that ppl have been raving about them. Hope they can sell some of 'em in slices, tho.
I've tried few of their breads when i was having my on-job-training at Makati. Not sure of the bread names. They are the top choice of the production for miryenda everyday. No doubt coz of its heavenly taste. 😇
Our favorite go to place for cakes and pastries, next to Becky's Kitchen!
Our favorites would include their oh so famous oreo cheesecake, campfire cake, revel bars and lava cake :)
I've been to a lot of cafes and dessert places who serves purple oven cakes. At least I would be assured that it will taste good paired with my tea or coffee :)
Chocolate Campfire is the best cake ever, ever, ever! It's so moist, and soft, with just the right amount of sweetness. It's the cake we get every time there's a celebration at home. :)
I love their cakes! My favorites are blueberry cheesecake and chocolate campfire! The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would definitely try the other stuff on their menu on my next visit. It must be love at first bite😍
First time trying Purple Oven was their Chocolate Campfire, which tasted ordinary, maybe because I never liked cake icings that much, and the Campfire had lots of these; and their Honeycomb Crunch Cake, which me and my father liked.
But what made me fall in love with Purple Oven was their Blueberry Cheesecake. Again, I'm a very picky eater that's why I rarely get to taste food I am not familiar with. I got this as a birthday present from my best friends at work. And this Blueberry Cheesecake is what took my Cheesecake virginity. Having tasted this, man, I never had Blueberry Cheesecakes of any other place anymore. This is just it, my first and only blue love (?) lol. 😋
*This is from my photo archives taken almost a year ago. Posting for reliving memories.. (and for the sake of being a level 5 Foodie pls)
Chocolate cake lovers would not be disappointed when you try their Chocolate Campfire. The marshmallow like(I'm sorry I might be wrong hihi) icing complements the chocolate cake. It's a bit pricey though, but at least it's big and delicious enough to justify the price of it. Their branch in Makati is quite difficult to find if you're not from the area, if you're commuting on the way there, all you have you to do is to get off at Zuellig Loop slash RCBC and ride a trike, tell them you'd like to get off at Sacred Heart Church, Purple Oven is right in front of it. They have cute interior and have a small area for dine-in.
I've always loved purple oven's goodies! Their doughnuts are really good and recently, we have tried the Campfire Chocolate Cake and I must say it is great 😝 The icing complimented the chocolate cake perfectly. I'll drop by their nearest branch here soon!
Friendly tip: Campfire Chocolate Cake is better when it's frozen!
If you want a good chocolate cake, Purple Oven's the one to go to. I've always loved their Chocolate Campfire cake. What makes it different from all other chocolate cakes? The chocolate surprise in the middle when you take a slice!
We bought the Chocolate campfire cake as a birthday cake for our relative. I love how the the icing perfectly blends with the chocolate cake and there's like 2 or 3 layers of pure chocolate I dunno if it's hershey's or what but damn! It's heaven! Will try their pistachio stardust cake next time
On the other hand, i felt bad that they do not sell sliced cakes.
We were here to buy cake for my mom's birthday. It was a good thing that for a Saturday afternoon, there were still a lot of cake choices. Of course we decided on getting the famous Chocolate Campfire. And of course we were not disappointed. I think that Chocolate Campfire is more of a default when people talk about Purple Oven. Because it's really that good. My suggestion is to not eat too much of the white marshmallow cream so you don't get overwhelmed with the sweetness. While waiting for our order, I saw pecan pies and chocolate lava cake on display. So guess what I did. Of course I sampled both. 😁 The pecan pie is not too sweet and has the right level of crunchiness. And the lava cake is kust lovely (see what I did there?). 🎂
want yummy pastries?
purple oven has a variety to choose from!
yummy brownies
lemon squares
revel bars!
anything chocolate is good!
small place with big taste!
I don't know if it's intentional but the Purple Oven branches that were opened initially were close to churches (San Antonio and Sacred Heart). Maybe it's a great market; the Titas of Manila can be very generous with their pasalubong coming from church. I almost always order only 3 things from here: Chocolate Campfire, Fudge Brownies, and I don't know if it's a fluke, but I had really nice Lemon Squares once. I see that it's not in the menu now.Up: Tasty desserts with knowledgeable staff; cute nameDown: Heavy on the pocket
This is so damn good! Best cookies and brownies I've ever tasted! ❤️ Try the Chocolate Revel Brownies, Grandma's Cake, and Double Chocolate Chip Cookies ❤️ I wish I can franchise this soon! 😁
The cakes and cookies and brownies here are really good and I recommend their chocolate campfire which is a chocolate cake with marshmallow frosting that has been torched to perfection 👍😋
Best cake in town especially when you are a smores lover! Will definitely buy another! Although I suggest they provide a more convenient box. 👌
Almost hidden in sight, Purple Oven’s main branch is located in Pasig City. They house all the good desserts from bars to cakes and they all taste good. Some of my favorites include lemon squares, their version of food for the gods, and the Campfire cake is to die for! I love how it combines, rich chocolate and marshmallow ganache as the icing and not be overwhelmed with sweetness.

one of the best revel bars ive tasted ... so chocolatey gooey....must try also the decadent brownies , lemon squares and the oatmeal raisin is sooo good
We first got to try Purple Oven when my brother-in-law send some chocolate lava cake for Christmas. It was really good. We never heard of Purple Oven before. Who would have thought there's a really good bakeshop in San Antonio Village? I think this is really one of if not the best chocolate lava cake. It's very rich and moist.
I will always drop by this place after attending mass at Sacred Heart Chuch. This is just located across the church. I love the cakes here. I highly recommend the chocolate cake, choco campfire cake, brownies and the choco lava cakes here. Purple Oven is now on my top list when it comes to cakes.
Our clients usually send us cakes from Purple oven everytime there's one of us whose celebrating their birthday. That is why I knew about Purple oven then. What I love about their cake is that it is moist and the taste is amazing. Chocolate campfire is my favorite cake in Purple oven and also their bestseller. The price is also affordable. Good value for money. :)
This is so perfect for pasalubong! I love their chocolate campfire so much also a must try is their lemon bars. Their cake is so moist and yummy. I will definitely go back here to try their other cakes and pastries
It was my cousin who introduced me to this place. I like their cake and pastries. My Favorites - Fudge Brownies, Double Chocolate Brownies, and apple crumble. its my third time here and will be back to try their other cakes and pastries.
Purple Oven's chocolate cake is probably one of the best that I have tasted. Aside from their chocolate cakes, the choco lava cakes here are also good. I guess all of their cakes are delicious I must say. If you are on a diet, then you must avoid going to their shop. It's really hard to resist the temptation from buying cakes here.
Not much of a cake eater nowadays coz i do bake myself. Tried their cakes several times but had them delivered. I like their cakes coz they're moist even if it has been days in the ref. Their cakes are different and have unique flavors, something new. Best of all, they're not too sweet! I want most is the one with the chocolate covered crunchies topping!
Purple Oven cakes and pastries are really good! i purchase from them every time my family is craving for something sweet or if I need to buy a gift/ something for a special occasion. The chili con carne and sausage roll is really good. I love he crust of their turnovers because they're crunchy and the filling is hot. For the dessert, their chocolate lava cake is my favorite because it's so rich and flavorful. You should also try their lemon squares, apple pie, brownies and revel bar for a tasty treat!! My only comment is that the place is too small and some food runs out fast in the middle of the day!
I love purple oven cakes and pastries, they offer quality and delicious baked products at a very reasonable price. The staff are also nice and accomodating and their place is clean and cozy. Just by entering their shops, once can smell this pure goodness which makes us, customers to come back for more.
Best Revel Bars ever! They also serve the yummiest cakes in town. They even have this certain time wherein you can buy fresh from the oven pastries!
Purple oven gives just the perfect thing to bring home some pastries. My favorites would be the fudge brownie and the lemon squares. Perfect to bring for the house and just make the whole family eat them for snacks. I never got to try their main courses though (if they had any). Their pastries always remain fresh and full of flavor. The design of their shop is also very nice and chill. Makes a perfect place for a cafe.
My first Purple Oven experience was when my professor brought lemon squares and brownies to class - I was out of breath with how tasty the two tasted. Both had the right amount of softness. I wouldn't think that the square treat would be packed with so much flavor! Looking forward to go here and buy more sweet treats!
I'm really a fan of this bakeshop. I have tried a lot of their cakes and I can say that they all taste really really great! Each is really baked to perfection. But my favorite is the chocolate campfire. Lemon bars and food for the gods are also their best creations.
Pastries here are to die for! The best one for me is their chocolate campfire for cakes. As for the bread, ALL are baked into perfection. All of the products are soft, chewy, yummy and fresh! It's worth every centavo!
The first time I had a Purple Oven thing is when my blockmate brought Lemon Squares to school. I fell in love in an instant. Today after our ojt, we dropped by Purple Oven to buy revel bars. Delicious, as expected! I just hope that Purple Oven starts to sell piece by piece cos 16 pcs at a time made me broke. Kudos though!
Their food is definately a bang for the buck. They have mouth watering lava cake, amazing dark chocolate macadamia cookies and as for healthier options, they have carrot cake, tuna turnovers and more. This is definately a go to place for those with a sweet tooth or those who just enjoy various types of cakes and breads.
I highly recommend their Revel bars (no its not Rebel) and their lemon squares. Brownies are average. Food for the Gods, moist and yummy but still second compared to Mary Grace. It is a bit saddening thought that their pastries are sold in 16's and 32's. Its highly limiting and a bit entitled on their part. Their cookies are good but nothing spectacular. Their cakes though some are hits, others misses. I highly suggest their Campfire cake and their Chocnut pie. The cheesecakes are solid, but there are plenty better elsewhere.
In regard to their breads, I suggest for savory go quiche or their salmon turnovers. For their loafs, go with Pistachio-lime and the orange loaf. I suggest you go early and if you're a big enough fan, befriend the clerks
They're all nice and they might even give you the schedule of when the breads come out fresh.
The usual bakery shop with a touch of elegance, i love how they are very accommodating... The cakes are the best as always.. i will recommend campfire..
