What a great turn around, the service in this place is fantastic. From first entering the restaurant myself and my client were warmly greeted and given a fantastic table. Our requests were taken care off quickly and efficiently. For any British American, and Aussies craving good home cooked Western food, this is your place. The pies are to die for, the pastry is perfectly flakey, the contents mouth watering, just like a good old English country pub style. Wade the owner is passionate about food, and this certainly shows in his restaurant. Check out Bondi & Burke in Makati, BGC, and I believe he has just opened up one in Davao. Also check out his latest hotel in Davao. Keep up the good work Wade, I'll be back next week.
I have just had the luck to sample a proper meat pie , WOW , I've lived here for 3 years and in Spain for 15 years, the pastry was first class the filling excellent ,, and certainly the best I've had since leaving the UK , I just can't wait for this place to open ,,, proper food , I thought I was dreaming *********
Food and service was great! Food served is good for 2 - 3 persons.Service was fast and efficient.Only problem at times is parking space.
Very happy with the food and the waiter service from Paulo was amazing. Highly recommended!
Had the steak & cheese pie with green salad. Loved the nice buttery crust and the fresh greens!
Awesome food + great service!
Nicely tucked in Legaspi Village is this cozy sosyal restaurant.
I attended a private dinner hosted by Estate Wine, a full-service merchant of fine wines and single malt whiskies in Manila and the exclusive partner to Berry Bros. & Rudd of UK for the Philippine Market.
Paired with the wonderful fine wine and spirits of Berry Bros & Rudd, Bondi & Bourke dishes were all delicious, perfect from start to end.
We had a meat pie and shrimp cocktail as a starter. Really good appetizer.
Then the roasted mushroom soup. I would want a little touch of cream to round the flavors up. They also served bread with a trio of dips.
I got the steak which was cooked perfectly with a mashed potatoes. Really good and you could taste the very good quality of the beef.
My favorite was dessert!
You have to get the Date pudding with creme anglaise. I also love the creme brulee and vanilla Panna Cotta ♥️
Straight to the point review:
Food 5/5
Food tastes really good and serving size is big. One main can serve two person. No complaints from our order. Spinach bacon fondue 👍
Roasted half chicken 👍👍
Seafood risotto 👍 (only complain would be too many clams?)
Ambiance 4.5/5
Nice clean interior and good for dates. Though you can only park on the streets, which is not a problem during Sundays.
Service 5/5
Excellent service!
Price 3.5/5
Pricey! Their mains average around 800.
I do hope they can serve smaller portion for decent price.
Official rate:4.5
This is a very beautiful cafe in makati. It deserves 5 star ratings as the staff was really polite and service was awesome.
I ordered sticky date pudding, garlic and cheese sandwich and fish and chips.
Everything was perfect in taste.
Highly recommended
Reliable place for good food and good service. The serving portions are filling and worth the price considering the size and quantity of their food servings.
I really really think this place is under rated. Been here several times and have never been disappointed. Although quite pricey, their servings are pretty big and quality never wavers. Favorites are the patè (yummy!!!), Moroccan Chicken Salad, their steak (always so tender and perfectly cooked). If you are a sweet tooth- you will not be disappointed. Their Pannacota, Warm Brownies and Sticky Date Pudding are big enough for 3 people and are absolutely delish.
I recommended the ff: middle eastern dips, caesar salad, fish & chips, mussels, classic Australian parma, spaghetti vongole, truffled chicken fettuccine. All are good for sharing, food serving is really big.
Bondi forever :) family's favorite steak place! nothing beats the tenderness and doneness of their steak for its price. I tell you, you can't go wrong with Bondi & Burke's list. and of course, the dessert should be mandatory! you will never regret! don't miss it!
I love my experience dining in this place. Aside from the fact that its for free (courtesy of a company dinner) it was my first time too. The ambiance was cozy and sosyal in a rustic way. The service was great and all the food I tasted was perfect. My fave was their panna cotta coz the serving was large and hindi nakakaumay yung lasa,
just the right amount of sweetness. 😊 The place is pricey though and I may come back here for special occassions only, hahaha. 😊
I’ve been to the Legaspi Village Branch a number of times and it still reminds me of home in Melbourne. From the modern Australian ambience to the delicious and generous hearty meals, you are sure to get a taste of Australia every time you step inside. Kudos to the BNB team, a solid 9/10!
Located in a not-so-crowded area in Legaspi Village is an upscale restaurant specialising in Aussie dishes. I got the chance to eat here when my previous manager treated our team here. This is not some place I would usually go to due to budget constraints but thanks to her I was able to try Aussie style steak which was perfectly juicy and tasty!
beautiful and cozy ambience. attentive servers. food definitely worth the price.
the ribeye we ordered arrived as a huge slab and good for two. very tasty and doesn’t need any sauce at all (which is how i like my steak) the mashed potato that comes with it is also okay.
good wine options, mostly (and understandably) from australia
we like smoothies and this is one of the good places where smoothies are legit and not some plain blended fruit shake.
will frequent the place
Been here lunch and dinner. I can say that its cozier and prettier at night than in the afternoon.
For my boyfriend’s bday we ordered Spinach & Bacon starter,
Truffled Prawn Carbonara and Beef Burger.
We enjoyed the food and as usual its more than what we can consume, so ended up taking it all out.
Must Try:
Steakkkk partnered with Potato Puree.
Medium well is the best for me.
The steak doesnt come with sauce though... its really sad because im a lover of steak sauces, no matter how good the steak is, i believe there should be an option for sauce.
Flourless cake to end up the meal.
Absolutely great food and service!
Best burger and fish and chips I've had in Manila. I normally don't like beets but it tasted amazing in the burger. The serving of fish of chips was also surprisingly large. The fish was purely fish and not covered in copious amounts of batter (compared to other places where the "fish" looks huge but half of it turns out to be breading / batter). Will definitely return and try their other dishes.
Everything we ordered were on point.
In photos: USDA Prime Rib-eye, Seafood Risotto, The Aussie Burger, Sticky Date Pudding
Not in photos: Spinach and Mozarella salad, Prawn Carbonara, spinach fondue
The steak was divine, well-marbled, melts in your mouth. The seafood risotto was well-flavored, with textures from the generous seafood on top. The burger was huge! It has at burger patty, bacon, a meat slice and a whole lot of other stuff in there.
Our server recommend the spinach and mozzarella salad. We loved it. It was refreshing. The prawn carbonara was also good. So was the fondue.
Of course, as always, the sticky date pudding is the best way to end the meal.
Guess we were lucky that day as we loved all dishes served. Last time we were here there were dishes that were just ok.
Ate here on a sunday, we ordered their brased pork rib, seafood rissotto and prawn carbonara, everything was tasty! The pork rib was fall off the bone soft! The mash potatoes underneath were creamy and silky! The rissotto underneath those fresh seafood were tasty and moist and it really absorbed all the taste of the seafood on it and lastly the carbonara, it’s taste was great! It was creamy yet not too saucy and it had little bits of bacon on it! Just wished the prawns were abit bigger.
While the place itself was cozy more so like you are having a candle lit dinner type of vibe, and the service was pretty good aswell, everyone was very attentive 👍🏻👍🏻
Great food with great friends can never go wrong and the best spot to do so is at Bondi & Burke. The steak, pasta and seafood dishes we had were super delicious. You can taste the freshness and love in the food. The plating was picture worthy. The flavors really takes you to Australia. This place is perfect for all special occasions or just because you’re feeling special that day.
Bondi and Bourke Makati
Parking - mejo mahirap during weekdays
Food - it’s all good!! Super good food pero sobrang tasty and cheesy lahat kaya mejo nakakaumay.
Ambiance - Normal
They have a room good for 10-15 pax. 20k consumable.
Compare to the restaurant near it. This place packs nice food. I'm not a fan of pasta but Im sure I'll order it again and again. Will be back here for more. Its pricey but who cares this is the place where I want to eat away from the crowded city. I find it cozy.
my husband and I been going here couple times and the food was really great the Chicken Parm is worth it . Friendly staff, while waiting for our food our drinks didnt came first instead our food was served but the drinks we order earlier didnt came it was late.
One of my fav restaurants around the Metro! I remember the first time I dined here two years back, I was sick then, but every bite I took, I felt better. Their prices are a bit high, but trust me, it is worth it! I especially love their Australian burger and Slow braised beef ribs.
Ordered Mussels in thai curry sauce, lamb chops, crispy pork belly, prawn carbonara and seafood spaghetti pasta.
Service wise, it was good except that we had to order almost 45minutes for our food to be served. We were the only table dining since we ate around 230pm. The long wait was too grueling.
Ambiance was a chic modern industrial look, place was kept tidy and cool, though one of the ACs has a leak.
Mussels in thai curry sauce was served with 2 pieces of bread. The bread was sort of over toasted. Mussel sauce was a tad too salty for me. Mussels were cooked well, right bite. This dish is okay, nothing spectacular.
Lamb chops were good, cooked medium rare where you can still see the redness of the meat and juices coming out every slice. Beneath it is mash potatoes and topped with red sauce, it was good! This dish very good but pricey, P1,790 :(
The crispy pork belly is another commendable dish. The skin is light and crispy while the meat is tender and juicy. It was perfect paired with the mashed squash beneath it. Sweet savory blend makes you want to eat it bite after bite.
Prawn carbonara is very creamy and savory. I like this one better than the seafood spaghetti pasta. The spaghetti was okay but I find it too tomato-ey for me. those who love the sour legit Italian taste of spaghetti are more likely to find this dish appealing.
Overall a good experience! ❤️
Good service and delicious food! At this point I’ve tried a lot in their menu and every time I’ve enjoyed my meals. Would recommend to come here and give the place a try!
We loved everything we got from this place! Their food is definitely of quality! It’s quite an expensive restaurant but food was good in our opinion. They served great coffee as well!
I only had a salad, the Maroccan chicken salad but I was impressed by the sophistication of ingredients and dressing. Really nice and quite large portion. That is one characteristic of the place: substantial and quality. You pay the price for it but nothing exagerated. Very nice atmosphere and service.
Went there a few more times and all I tried was really nice.
The manager was very accomodating. I love their pudding!! One if the best ive tasted. I can say that the food was worth my money. The ambiance was also classy
The food here is excellent! My personal favorite is the quesadillas because the taste is different and the flavors are good. Serving sizes are big and good for 2-3 people. The ambiance is classy so this could be considered as a date place for special occasion with your special someone.
Good food, nice ambiance, my favorite is their penne truffle carbonara it's soo yummy and cheesy. Pie is sooo good. Love it. kinda pricey but it's worth to dine here. you will enjoy the taste of their food.
I recommend the:
Slow braised beef ribs
Penne truffle carbonara
Mediterranean chicken Parma
Sticky toffee pudding
Don’t recommend the Creekstone Prime Rib at about 6000. While I found it perfectly cooked, the meat was tough.
We went here for dinner because of my mom’s bday. The food is a little bit pricey ranginf from 600-800 pesos per plate, thats for the main course. The menu is quite few it only has 2 pages.
Regarding the food, i am giving it a perfect rate because it is so delicious. This is the perfect restaurant that you refer if you have foreigner friends that want to eat at a quiet sophisticated place.
I recommend eating the 6 hour roasted pork belly and the braised bbq pork ribs!
The Sticky Date Pudding is so good, I want to weep. Hahaha! I akso liked the snapper especially the sweet potato mash included in the dish.
However, the price is indeed quite steep. I was about to rate it a 4.5 but hesitated because although the food is good, it still makes me think twice as to how often i can visit this place. So 4.0 hahaha.
The restaurant is easily off Salcedo road. If you've brought a car parking is a problem as it's only street parking. We ate during dinner so there were already spaces available. Restaurants ambience is quiet and relaxing, good for couple dates and small groups. For starters their focaccia bread was fresh and came with 3 spreads, olive, tomato and onion. They also have a creamy asparagus soup, its served on a medium sized bowl so this is something you can share. On the mains I would recommend their steaks, we ordered the surf & turf and US prime beef at medium well. Both steaks were soft and delicious, no need for their heavy duty steak knife haha The surf & turf was basted on a salty sauce and acconpanied by pepper mustard, this went well together. Their mashed potatoes were pureed, thick and buttery. Steaks automatically come with a small bowl of mash and greens. We also had the pork belly, it was very crispy. The fat layer had been removed leaving the meat and skin crackling on top of a banana puree, the combination was surprisingly good. All of their mains could be had for sharing especially if you're not too famished.
Meat Pie - one of the best in town, plus the fries was great too!
Pumpkin soup - meh. It tasted too much of turmeric
Truffle Carbonara - we ordered it because we saw a lot of raves, but it was just good..
Risotto - crowd fave! My fave! Perfectly cooked!
Date pudding - lacked moisture. Might have tasted better served warm
I'm going to segment my review to 4 parts:
- Food 4.5
- Price 3.5
- Ambience 4.5
- Service 5 (I could even give a 6)
FOOD: I ordered their beef burger, which already comes with a side of fries. Don't let the plainness of the pics fool you, this burger packs a lot of flavor and goodness! I didn't think much of it at first but after the first bite, it was one pleasant surprise after another. Their beef burger comes with a loaded 1 inch beef patty, fried egg, bacon, veggies, caramalized onions, and gooey gooey cheese. The star of the veggies is the beet, which perfectly balanced the saltiness from the meats. The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. It had a golden fried aroma.
PRICE: Items are quite expensive. This was the only downside. My burger was PHP 565. Could be good for two if you're not a heavy eater.
AMBIENCE: Nice interior with modern grunge feel cause of the metal lighting fixtures. It's well lit in the morning with natural light though, making it extra cozy.
SERVICE: Service was just impeccable. They really make you feel attended to from the get go. I never had trouble calling for service and they would give tissue/toothpick/water, etc without me needing to ask. Staff was very friendly and served with a smile. Food for the price was okay but the service made the experience awesome 😊
Very good selection of Belgian specialty beers that are not the typical mainstream ones that you see all around town.
The last 2 times I was here I ordered the Mussels Mariniere. It was so good I wanted to order it again but figured it would be best to explore their other food choices. The Norwegian Salmon was cooked just right and had the right balance of flavor with the buttered sweet corn hash and apple slaw. The Sticky Date Pudding was also great - moist and fluffy!

Nice place to spend time after work hours. The food are good and served well. The serving was generous enough to fill our hungry tummy. Drinks as good as the food. The stuff are friendly but not that attentive.

I have been going to Bondi & Bourke for years, always consistent high quality food.
The restaurant always clean and orderly...
Service is great!!!
This is my first time here and I so love the place it's very cozy! What I love is their steak is WOW, well basically we had the salad, quesadillas, pasta and then the steak! For the dessert is their delicious pudding, panna cotta and the chocolate cake (i think) hahaha...of course the red wine and their australian beer is good! (well i forgot the name haha), since it is an Australian resto! Bondi is a beach back in Australia! Bondi Beach in Sydney. Well for me everything is perfect. it's just wow a highly recommended one.
Thanks Wade!
Bondi&Bourke is one of my undisputed Makati favorites. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and offers tasty food at the right size (you won't leave the restaurant hungry, that's for sure).
Whenever I've people visiting in Manila, I tend to take them here. Their menu is extensive and there will be something on for most people's liking. Their burgers are great, and so are their steaks. For drinks, my favorite is the Bourke Cooler. Extremely refreshing.
Many of their dishes are also great for sharing. Order a whole bunch of stuff and have your entire party sample lots of deliciousness!
Pro-tip: secure a table here using the BigDish app. Plus, if you book through BigDish you get a discount off your food bill which is always nice.
We pretty much ordered all the food in the menu as we were a big group. These are the foods we really enjoyed:
1. oysters should be ordered fresh. We tried the baked ones too but felt to maximize the flavor fresh is the way to go;
2. classic meat pies are good but not as good as the ones in Australia;
3. French pate is delicious paired with the apples
4. Prime rib is worth the price
5. Truffle carbonara is delicious. Not a fan of cream sauce but this should be ordered
Price wise, it was decent too given that the portions are huge!
My only negative comment here is that there are way too many mosquitoes inside the restaurant! Perhaps it's the indoor green wall? I don't know.. but we asked for candles etc but it didn't work.
The great thing of dining in for the first time in a resto you haven't had the chance to research is dinning in with a friend who already knows what's really good according to your standards. I highly recommend Mussels - Beer with chives, roasted garlic and butter. The butter sauce is divine and I'm pretty sure you'll ask for extra bread to savor more of that sauce. We also had Australian Prime Rib Eye 600g which is above average - no gamey aftertaste even when cooked medium rare with just salt and pepper but I had steaks in other restos with better texture that almost melts in your mouth. It came along with sauteed baby arugula and potato puree which were a welcome bonus. At this price point, I'll still order it again to share with carnivorous friends :D
One of my favorite restaurants in the area. The food is great (I love the meat pies) and so is the service. I would highly recommend this one.
My date took me to this place I've been eyeing for quite sometime. Its at Bondi & Bourke. At past 7 PM, was like No traffic ,less people. Perfect timing 👌🏼
The place has airy welcome vibe as you enter and its just a cozy nook to be. Menus are straight forward, its like everything is familiar: pasta, burgers, salads and steaks! Giving you a culinary experience that is uncomplicated for you to enjoy and linger. Servers are attentive and gives good recommendations.
We had 6 pcs of Oysters Mornay with spinach cream and Mozzarella cheese for appetizer. Its a good start!
I thought of having a steak, but I was quite full. So I settled for Norweigian Salmon (P895) its a pan seared salmon, buttered sweet corn hash, apple slaw and asparagus. Light meal yet enjoyed the salmon.
My date got his Classic Meatpie -Steak & Cheese, (P475) braise Australian beef, with cheese. Served hot! Melting cheese inside is mouthwatering. This dish is heavy with its crust and meat.
For our drinks, we got Ginger & Lemon, yes that's the drink we chose for our coughs. Refreshing and soothing.
Verdict: enjoyed the food, nice ambiance, and good service. Just one thing, there are mosquitos inside the dining that is quite annoying the diners. Hope they can do something about it.
When my classic meat pie was served, i thought wow this is a small pie for such steep price. Man, i was wrong. It was so filling, just the right amount for one's empty stomach. Chose the steak and mushroom and everything about this pie is so beautiful. Its filled with large chunks of tender braised beef. The ragout was well-seasoned and is complemented by the garlic mushrooms. Decided to eat it in quarters and every portion is packed with so much meat. Even the puff pastry alone has all that buttery goodness. It came with a side of salad which was crisp and fresh (thank you for cherry tomatoes). Each element is already of good quality. So just imagine what you have when you combine them all. I cant wait to try their other dishes!
I was walking around Legaspi Village and I said to myself, the first decent restaurant I see is where I'll have late lunch. I spotted this fine dining like location, an Australian establishment. I haven't heard of this place but willing to try. What encouraged me to settle was a full crowd seemingly enjoying their food.
I had their Asian Chicken Salad first. It's a new salad and was quite disappointed on the onset because the meat was fried. Without much need of a request, they gladly replaced it with grilled ones for additional Php 50. This is without returning the original ones. The dressing was good, greens were fresh. I loved the touch of sourness through the green apples and cherry tomatoes. At Php 525 it can be good for two.
I wasn't exactly full yet so I had their signature Steak Pies after. These savory pies were done really well. I was in luck because they just had a batch done. That means no need to wait another 30 minutes. Meat was tender and melt in your mouth. The mushrooms complemented well. The crust were a bit tough butit somehow fits.
The place has a nice function room. I was able to take a peak while going around. Another plus for Bondi & Bourke is their warm friendly service.
Delicious meat pies, great service, and very nice ambience! We had the classic meat pie with fries. The flavors of the filling and the pie crust worked together really well, and the fries were crunchy without being oily. Will definitely go back to try their other pies.
The salad and chicken schnitzel burger were good, too, but won't be craving for them. The size of the burger alone gives good good value for money, especially in Makati.
We also had a lamington, which was interesting. It's apparently a sponge cake with some strawberry jelly and coated with desiccated coconut -- a nice and light dessert after a big meal.
Everything we ordered was topnotch except for the Beef Burger which tasted bland and I think the only reason it looks huge is because of the bread. I could use a bigger beef patty for that huge-ass bread.
I especially loved the Classic Steak pie. The meat was tender and the sauce was oh so yummy. I can definitely taste the good quality wine in the sauce. The Classic Australian Parma was good enough for 3 people. But the best part was the dessert. With the strong cappuccino, the Sticky Toffee pudding was the perfect meal ender.
I would definitely come back here if only for the savory pies.
I have been to this outstanding restaurant dozens of times..recommended it just about anyone I know and they in turn have returned there several times themselves. So..what is special about this place? The first stand out feature is the consistent quality of top class ingredients. You can taste the freshness in each morsel. The chef Wade prides himself in ensuring that every patron has a fulfilling meal. I use the word fulfilling for a couple of reasons...first because of the exquisitely simple tastes...you can actually relish the flavours of the main course with the condiments adding just the right amount of culinary delight. Second...The quantities are more than substantial. You can pick ANY dish off the menu and it would be awesome. I eat out every weekend and I would rate this restaurant as the best one I've eaten at in the Philippines. If you like to eat good food Bondi & Bourke should be on your bucket list
Value for money!
I love their Beef Lasagna and Grilled chicken. The ambiance is also great. Service is superb. The servers are very attentive and courteous. 👍🏼
Bondi & Bourke’s French Pate was heavenly, especially when eaten with the apple compote. It even came with a big slice of emmental cheese and garlic bread. The mussels in white wine were to-die-for! Very fresh and deeply flavored. Tried the penne carbonara which was one of their bestsellers according to the server. Very creamy but tasted just like a regular carbonara pasta.
If it wasn't closed, it was reserved exclusively and so on our FOURTH ATTEMPT to finally dine at B&B I finally was able to squeeze in a reservation (something that had to do with my birthday)
My verdict on:
Oysters Mornay - as a starter, it was served really hot but being an oyster fanatic, to me the taste was just okay. Nothing spectacular.
Australian Burger - medium check! This one's so big even two foodies struggled to finish it. Kind of tricky to eat but I'd rate this as a great burger
Truffled Carbonara - al dente check! Portion was a bit little but overall I would probably order this again
Classic Steak Pie - since my companion was a legit Aussie this was a bit of a letdown. The filling was too runny and a bit sweet for our liking. Yes it tasted good but it doesnt really meet our australian pie expectation.
Ambience - 3 out of 5
Service - excellent
Great food, attentive super-alert staff. Very gracious chef....salads, mashed potato, sauteed veges...Our companions had a great lobster appetizers... and carbonara. Great experience and CASHBACK from Lyoness to top it all. The pandan cake was unbeatable as well. Next visit... will, I will not be on a diet and it has to be lunch. Ambiance felt like I was in New York, Times Square.
Just had dessert here. Kinda pricey but worth every penny. Desserts are good for 2-3 people. Serving was generous and tastes real good.
I'd love to come back to try their main entrees.
Superb Aussie resto in Legaspi! Had 2 of my best meat dishes here - Steak & Cheese Pie and Slow-braised Beef Ribs.
The pie was a revelation and hands down the best pie I've eaten. The beef ragout smothered with cheese inside the crusty pie was amazing! Need to come back here just for the pies.
Beef Ribs were melt-in-the-mouth and quite a lot of neat too on the ribs. Truffle mash and mushroom jus made for the perfect tasty combo with the beef. The Php 995 price tag is hefty but worth it.
Washed this down with Hoegaarden and James Boag beer.
For dessert we had the Light & Dark Truffle Cake - interesting and good too. With a chocolate ganache center.
This place is A class. Food is on point, service is fantastic. Ambience is perfect.
Great to find homely food in Manila.
I recommend the mussels, they are delicious and full of flavor. The pies are tasty and the sticky fudge pudding is to die for.
👌🏽
Just needed a hit of black coffee before heading off to my busy schedule today! Didn't try the food as I've just returned from Australia, so wasn't really craving anything OZi OZi, Oi Oi Oi! Really liked the kitchen layout, making me want to cook a storm!:) My waitress was very very friendly, almost became my Facebook friend! Oh wait, I don't have a Facebook account!
Good location and ambiance. Good food. The ribs are excellent!! Wines are more on the expensive side. Place is packed. Bad they turned off aircon early. Place for warm pretty fast
Great place! Really good atmosphere, food was delicious and the chef / owner was very friendly and accommodating. If your looking for somewhere chilled with tasty fresh food that has a extensive drinks list then you will love this place. Highly recommend it. The fresh corn in the salmon dish was delicious and the salmon cooked to perfection. I had the Bulega vodka straight which was amazing. Plus we topped off a great meal with sticky date pudding that tasted home made and had exactly the right balance of moisture, cream and butterscotch sauce - a def must try!
Food, awesome.
Drinks, awesome.
Staff, awesome.
Drinks, awesome.
Prices, awesome.
A Fantastic restaurant that excels in every area. Great place to go for any occasion and have a wonderful time. Highly recommend it.
Ate the Aussie burger - a towering masterpiece. The beef burger equally as impressive, the chicken pie, amazing!
Great food and really generous servings! Recommended dishes are, the Chicken Parma, Meat Pies (all of them are really good so you should definitely try them all!), and the U.S. Prime Rib-eye. The mashed potato that comes with it is so tasty that you won't even need a gravy for it.
As for desserts, try out the Lamingtons and sticky coffee pudding!
Who doesn't follow anne curtis? I bet no one. So when I saw her post on instagram about this restaurant, I thought, "I MUST GO!!". And so I went with my friends Jess and Joana. We ordered 5 dishes and had big lamington for dessert. I cant believe we finished everything up. Its just so delicious that we can't leave it on the table even though we're so full already.
Food is good but a little expensive. 4 of us ordered the george salad (really nice), chicken pot pie (yum!) With side of fries (so crispy), prawn linguine (hmm so so despite the oil and chili flakes it was tasteless and the linguine was not al dente), oyster kilpatrick (oyster so small all i tasted was the parma in bbq sauce but generous portions for the price) and 300g us rib eye cooked medium (no need for the mustard tasted well though it's not melt in your mouth) with side of mashed potatoes (everyone in the table raved abt this.i also liked it but tasted salty). Would like to come back to try the other pies or the burger hopefully not as expensive next time.
Generous portions. Their parmas are interesting and tasty. Good for two. For dessert we got the sticky toffee pudding and it was also good, not cloying. We were stuffed. They even gave us a free lamington which was great, though admittedly I am not a fan of lamingtons in general.
Love the place but it's kinda loud in there so did put a damper on me and my companion's catch up.
I hate finding good places near the office simply because my lunch budget goes up. Had the seared salmon fillet and was good enough for me to think about ordering again. Cozy and the service was good. Nice place to bring guests to.
Delicious!! We ordered their steak, spinach soup and carbonara truffle pasta. The ambience was nice. Worth dinning back. Hope they could improve their service coz its a tad slow.
Love the Australian beef burger especially the beetroot. The pie was just okay, and the pork belly wasn't that memorable. But I was surprised with their pasta ~ perfectly cooked for a restaurant who doesn't specialize with it. Lamingtons are a great way to end your meal. Just choose the strawberry flavor

Me and my team mates tried and we had great dinner. The crew are attentive and they have large servings :-) We have beef and cheese pies, burgers, salads and lamingtons for dessert.
Bondi and Bourke is the newest Australian restaurant in town and is headed by Chef Wade Watson, from my fave Abaca Cebu, where every dish is just on point. At B&B, you can expect the same delectable dishes prepared with passion and love.
We had their Lamb Shepherd's Pie and Chicken Parmigiana. The pie was flavorful, lamb was so tender. The mashed potato was sooo creamy and baked until golden. I love it! Ultimate comfort food for the soul. For the parmigiana, I like how the crust is crispy and the sauce was so fresh and sumptuous. Simple yet so good. Will definitely be back!
Food is best enjoyed with the people you love. Makes the food much more delicioso. For the Five hour lunch at Bondi Bourke, we had a taste of what Australian Cuisine is all about.
We were served Bourke Salad, Caesar Salad, Beef Burger (a hefty one at that), Australian Classic Parmas (Australian version of the Italian's Chicken Parmigiana) Classic Steak Pie and Fish & Chips.
For dessert we had the famous Lamingtons (Strawberry flavored- yummy and with just the right sweetness), Sticky Date Pudding, Classic Crème Brulee (the biggest one I've had so far), Banana & Tofee Tart and English Trifle.
Everything tasted so good, flavored generously but not overbearing and cooked just right.
Thank you so much for a great experience.
We were given the room the could seat and entertain a group of 24. The ambience allows you to relax and expect your food to be prepared because the open kitchen makes for a good view of your orders. The walls are not heavily decorated but the lighting is soft. If you were to come over during the daytime, you'll enjoy the natural light that streams in through the windows. I like the clean interiors of this place, too.
I was enjoying looking at old records being played on a new device. It reminded me of how careful we had to be to play the records my grandparents had. Meanwhile, my friends were their usual selves snapping photos away on their iphones. With all of these going on, orders started to pile in.
Two kinds of oysters came - kilpatrick and mornay. Kilpatrick was fresh lathered with some barbecue sauce and the mornay was a lot more familiar with the baked cheese and spinach. I preferred the latter.
The chapel salad was also served and since baby rocket was used, the flavor is distinctly similar with the bourke salad i tried a few days before.
Ahhhh, i would say everybody LOOOOVED the creekstone ribeye! I did have a slice and it was heavenly. Not big on the meats, i found my treasure in the next item served.
The PENNE RIGATONI has gotta be, hands down, THE best pasta i've ever tasted. Bondi & Bourke's in particular. When everyone else was going loco over the beef, i started sneaking this plate back over to my side. #sorrynotsorry They served us two more pastas, the BBQ prawn spaghetti and the chicken fettuccini. The bbq prawns were very tasty and comes a close second to the penne rigatoni. I wouldn't order the chicken fetuch again, though this was also very good. It's just not a preference.
They might've served the chicken parmigiana before the pasta but i had passed on tasting this. my friend got to poke me in the mouth with a teeny bite and man, was it tasty! 👍🏽
Our leader that night ordered two sandwiches. I forgot which ones they are. They are the same ones but they ran out of buns and used kickass bread for this. My only reason for having a forkful is the egg! And what a glorious egg it was!
I'm not going to forget the PORK BELLY, because this is the right stuff! It is putok batok worthy and damn, that cauliflower purée it is sitting on is uber delicious! Take your cauliower, put in blender and puree. Nope, not the same as Bondi's and never will be! You better come here for this pork belly!
When everyone was filled with all these mains and sides and water, we were served with four different kinds of pie. A chocolate custard that i could eat all by myself, a lemon merengue pie with meringue you could perpetually lick off, a rasperry and a mango cheesecake. You can immediately tell what i fell for. No words needed.
I would and have been recommending this place to my family and friends! I love how the food is fresh and if not in the menu something equally as delicious can be prepared to satiate your palate. My brother and sister-in-law took their group of 7 here last week and they enjoyed immensely. It was well-worth your money. There is no question, i will love coming here unless they give me a reason not to.
Visited on a payday Friday while the restaurant was having a private function so it was 100% full! Managed to get a seat at the communal table.
Good selection of food with some Aussie favourites such as potato scallops and Chicken Parma. Food was very good quality and large serves however took 45 mins to be served and several items were sold out.
I will happily give this place a second chance on a quieter night through the week when hopefully the service improves.
good stuff! place was well decorated. staff needs a bit more training (confused with some of the side dishes) but nothing too bad. awesome experience for me. the whisky shots were also affordable. glenlivet 12 200php per 45ml. had the surf and turf. my friends had the burger and meat pie. big servings!
Just good quality and unpretentious and for Aussies, a taste of home in Manila. Oysters Kilpatrick, meat pies and good chicken Parma and a really lovely dessert menu as well. We can't wait to go back.
Went here for an early dinner during the week and was blown away! The service was excellent, the space itself was really nicely appointed and the food was amazing. Being Australian I've struggled to get some of the flavours on offer here, but from the red wine, prawn salad, steak sandwich (with added Beetroot!) to the chicken parmy everything was just spot on. The complimentary lammingtons and cookies were a surprise as well. One word of warning - the serving sizes are huge, we were struggling by the end of the meal, but you can't really take any points off for that! One of the best meals I've had in Makati, congratulations and I hope you are successful in spreading modern Australian cuisine in the Philippines.
This restaurant is sooo yummy even though there's no rice but it is Australian so does not matter and the servings are huge and the steak and cheese pie is a must try soooo yummy@
I've been waiting for this restaurant to open, and it definitely did not disappoint.
The interiors were very modern and minimalist, with black and gray tones surrounding the dining area, concrete walls, and white sleek chairs. There are bursts of yellow for the couches and bar seats, and the kitchen is open, free for everyone to see the hustle and bustle behind the scenes.
We ordered three dishes, since we knew that Australian servings were HUGE (and we were 4). We picked the Salmone Tartines, Beef Burger, and the Steak and Cheese pie.
Salmon Tartines - Did not taste much as I ate more of the two other dishes. Salmon tasted really good, though the toppings are less than the bread. I need to eat it again to give a proper rating but as of now: 3.5
Steak and Cheese pie - WOW. This is the winner for me. It was a generous serving with a good amount of cheese, tasty pastry, and overflowing meat. It's like Australia's version of our Caldereta, baked in a pastry. You wouldn't even look for rice! Wow wow wow. It's good for two, but if I was so hungry, I can finish this in a heartbeat. Definitely recommend it! Rating: 5
Beef Burger - This burger is HUGE. Definitely good for sharing. Fries are a bit mushy but the saltiness is perfect. The bread is toasted to perfection. What I love is the beets infused in the burger - adds a bit of bitterness that compliments the beef. And my goodness - the beef. I can still dream about it. The burger is really on the heavy side, but packed with flavor. Rating: 4.5
All in all, it was a great dining experience. They even had complimentary desserts: 6 cubes of little cakes wrapped in coconut shavings; 3 chocolate, 3 vanilla/lemon flavored. Great way to end the meal. Thumbs up to the servers too! Very attentive, and really accommodating - a good sign for a newly-opened restaurant. It's on the pricey end, but I promise you, real good stuff. Australian food is one to look out for.
The food at Bondi & Bourke is pretty stellar, you feel the quality of ingredients used and care in its preparation in every bite. Had the steak sandwich and was thoroughly satisfied, I loved the bread and loved the touch of the beets. The side salad which came with it was pretty crisp and tasty. Service was efficient, friendly and knowledgable. But come hungry because their servings are generously "Aussie" size.
All that's missing here is a promenade and Bondi beach right out the door.
