Smith Butcher and Grill Room is one of the most unique restaurants found in Makati. For one, it's the only restaurant that welcomes customers with a bar up front. Anyone looking for a drink after work won't have a hard time maneuvering the restaurant for the bar. Patriots will be delighted to see bartenders mixing their drinks.
They offer staple drinks like Manhattan, Aperol Spritz and the like, and they also offer a few originals. If you don't feel drinking the ones listed, you can request their bartenders to make one you like.
They also offer beers, local and foreign, craft beers (research) that changes every week for a wide variety, Smith Sodas, originally concocted sodas, and regular sodas, Smith Juices, originally concocted, and sparkling water, all of which perfect for steaks, seafood, and other dishes offered.
Smith is unique that though they cook food, they also offer raw dishes. From beef to fishes, even oysters. Just remember though that eating raw is not for everyone.
The Smith Burger Story

What makes Smith Butcher and Grill Room unique from other burger places is that they take their meat seriously. Each of their meat dishes is especially hand cut and are cooked to each person's preference, and their burgers are no exception. The premium hand cut beef, nestled in between toasted artisanal bread, smothered in mature cheese, accompanied by sweet, caramelized onions, a large slice of tomato, and crunchy lettuce was the most delicious burger I have ever tasted. While most people who would eat their burger for the first time would think that it is under seasoned, it is actually seasoned just right to make the natural flavors of the burger stand out.
The artisanal bread, Smith Butcher's own creation, is toasted just right gives off the english muffin look and taste that completely complements the burger. Soft and yet crunchy after toasting, the bread is seasoned just enough that you can eat it separately and at the same time do not over power the burger when taken together.
The Smith Butcher and Grill Room version of fries is crispy, thick, yet soft to bite. The large fries, cut in perfect proportions is crispy on the outside yet soft and firm on the inside. It's lightly salted which, while others may find to bland, is actually perfect in taste as it brings out the potatoes' natural flavours.
Big Eye Tuna Poke (Raw)

Have you ever tasted tuna sashimi? Like raw, tuna slices, soft and delicious, served in most japanese restaurants? Well, Smith Butcher's Big Eye Tuna Poke is a nod in that direction. Served in a tall glass, covered with a dome shaped cover, what makes it beautiful to look at is the theatrics. Once opened, smoke will come out (it's safe) to make it look cool and mysterious.
The looks are beautiful and dramatic. The taste, absolutely wonderful. Thick pieces, take note, pieces and not slices, are served in a tall glass, drizzled in sweet, tangy sauce. Every piece of the tuna is thick, firm, yet soft to bite and even melts in your mouth! It melts in your mouth so fast you'll miss the delicious taste in a second. Even when I was savoring the taste, it was hard to dissect it, remember it, and jot down what you think about it. So I'm using, from what possible memory of the taste I have left, to describe it's deliciousness. Smith Butcher and Grill Room will truly make you come back for more.
With the unique, savory taste of every dish that Smith Butcher and Grill Room has to offer, it also comes with a great price. Each dish fetches a hefty price that would probably make your wallets cry but let me tell you, everything is worth it.
