Hands down the best pizza I've had in Manila. From the sauce, to the crust, to the cheese and toppings - it's the real deal. My go-to is the Pepperoni with additional garlic confit - sooo good!
Bubbly, chewy sour dough crust that is to die for. Delicious, fresh and zesty sauce and vegan cheese that melts and stretches and tastes like the real thing. The Basic Bitch is amazeballs and the Shroomed Out is ridiculously good and I don't even like mushrooms. Must try. Will eat all the time. Hoard it all.
No lie. This might be the best pizza slice in Metro Manila. Definitely the best in Makati, no comparison.
I knew that the pizza they serve here was special as soon as I saw how it was prepared. My goodness--- the sauce is FANTASTIC. The crust is chewy and had a rustic and brooklyn-ish feel to it. I hope you come out with a puttanesca ish pizza? Something wonderfully zesty and salty to complement that perfect brick oven crust!!!
Vegan pizza are awesome, thanks a lot putting it on the menu :D
Fantastic pizza, really tasty and lots of delicious toppings! Pizza to die for, will be coming back again!
When you say "brick oven pizza" this is the place to Go!
Best pizza ever. Competitive pricing as well. If only you could serve drinks!

Superb! Vegan pizza delightfully delicious from crust to filling! Couldn't ask for more <3
Awesome and very accommodating.
Met the owners and they are absolutely great conversationalists! :)
No words to describe it! The Best Vegan Pizza and mazzarap!
I usually don't eat pizzas but this is by far my favorite ever. The Pork You pizza had me at pancetta and the mushroom one is also awesome. The crust is lightly salty and is just so tasty. It has become my late night cravings. Seriously too good for my diet!!!
My new favorite pizza place and they have truly made pizza great again. Dough is perfectly crispy, tasty and airy; comes with generous toppings but also not too enough to enjoy the bread.
Would certainly come back here whenever back for another Pobs night out.
Crosta has been one of my bookmarks for sometime. I tried to plan it, but then get side tracked with other food options as Poblacion is a food haven in Makati. However, thanks to an errand, I stumbled upon Crosta without really planning things at all.
As for a first timer, I was torn with what to order. But then after some time, I decided on the Stuffed AF. It was the only one that had a stuffed crust on the menu, so I went with that.
The Stuffed AF isn't the usual stuffed crust pizza that's stuffed with cheese. The crust itself is stuffed with a spinach artichoke dip--and that is my most favorite dip ever. The pizza itself is topped with a great combination of cheeses which are: Mozzarella, Taleggio, Fontina, Gorgonzola and Parmesan.
The 1st thing I bit into was the crust. And was is FANTABULOUS. The dip itself was a winner of its own. Light, but yet still creamy and rich. The crust was perfect with just the right balance between chewy and crispy. The ratio of it was nice too as the crust wasn't more on the bread side. Again, the ratio was balanced.
As for the cheese toppings, it was excellent. There was a bit of all cheese tastes from nutty, sharp and earthy. The tastes didn't overpower each other and worked in harmony. And since I am a chili-head, I always add hot sauce and chili flakes to my pizzas, but this would be one of the few times in which I would say leave things be. The Tabasco ruined the balance of cheeses, but as for the chili flakes, a bit of it worked out well.
Food: 5.0 - Yummyzilla good brick oven pizza!
Price: 5.0 - Worth it!
Service: 5.0 - Very friendly staff. I believe I even talked to the owner. They know their stuff!
Ambience: 5.0 - The Social on Ebro is a small foodpark as compared to others. It is small, and quaint. Great place to chill and chow in the middle of busy Makati.
They still have more pizzas that looked awesome. I am coming back soon!
This is by far the best pizza in town. And myself and partner have tried almost all. Pizza is our favourite, cheat meal :) We ordered for delivery, the pizza came fresh and as if it just came out of the oven. Delicious!!! Ill be getting one weekly..
Delish!
Crust was light and crispy yet still has that air.
Sauce to meet ratio was balanced. The cook of the pizza was spot on and generous amount of serving too.
I took advantage of the non-existent traffic in Makati to finally try Crosta. Though I would have preferred dining there, I had to have the pizzas for take away because the rest of the family was at home.
I ordered the Pork You for me and the wife, and the Cheesy AF for my son. I rushed home to make sure it was still warm.
Best pizzas we've had in a while. Period. These guys know what they're doing! Both pizzas were amazing. They didnt scrimp on the toppings of the Pork You, and the Cheesy AF was just that..cheesy as F. Really, really, really good. And the crust! Best.Damn.Crust.
I'm definitely coming back. I have to try the Burrata and the Stuffed AF next. Smells Fishy and the Retiree (because pineapple on pizza) are next.
Great stuff guys, keep it up!
Crosta is hands down the best pizza in the Metro - the crust is amazing and the quality of the toppings shines through in every bite. I won't go anywhere else for pizza , it's that good. They also have loads of cool vegan options - if that's your thing !
Crosta's burrata pizza is the best pizza I've tasted in a while! The pizza was perfectly cooked and the crust was chewy. Was glad to see a generous serving of burrata on each slice-- they definitely didn't scrimp on the ingredients.
Looking forward to try the other flavors! Heard that they're equally as good.
Love their vegan pizzas! We've tried two, so far, and this means that we'll have a few.more reasons to go back or order from Kanguru. My fave is the vegan stuffed AF!
Always a favorite place to go to for Pizza. I'm here at least once a week. :) Crosta is one of two restos where I actually do like eating the crust of the pizza. Shroomed out + extra mozzarella + extra bacon is the way to go! They also have a new offer - the cheese boat! :) Crosta is love.
This is a hidden gem! We absolutely love the place. It’s very hip and chill at the same time.
As for the pizzas, we love it! One of the best pizza places in the Metro. We love its best seller flavor—Shrooms; it’s very addicting.
Tip: They don’t sell drinks at Crosta so we had to buy water from another stall at The Social at a very steep price. Just buy water from Family Mart near it.
Crosta is one of the best Pizza joints in Manila!
They serve the best crust, almost reminiscent of the airy texture and crunch of sourdough breads.
They dont skimp on the toppings and cheese. But they don’t overdo it so you can enjoy the crist and the topping.
It’s located at The Social on Ebro. The place is okay with several fans installed for you to survive the unforgiving heat of Manila.
Overall, if you want good food then this is the place for you.
This small pizza place at Poblacion packs a punch! Really making 'pizza great again' via their imported ingredients. Located within The Social @ Ebro, the pizza pairs great with beer.
We had the aptly named Basic Bitch - Pizza Sauce and mozzarella - perfectly baked to a golden brown!
Basically my new fave pizza place every time we go on a Pob (Poblacion) crawl. They have a pizza flavor that’s not on the menu but man!! Once you try it, you’ll keep looking for it. If you ever get the chance to visit, order the spinach and artichoke stuffed pizza then order a bucket of beer with it. You’re welcome. ;)
I don't understand why it's rated less than 4 stars, tbh. Crosta's pizzas are some of the best pizzas I have ever tasted. The crust is to die for, it's the perfect kind of chewy and salty so I love it. The toppings are also good. I think the pizzas are quite small but it's definitely value for money. It's very cheap for the taste and quality you're getting. I just can't help but keep coming back to Crosta.
Crosta pizzas have a lot of artisinal character from its dough to the flavors/toppings that they offer.
Their Cheesy pizza has so many tasty (and smelly) dimensions with the mix of not only the common parmesan and mozzarella but also the not familiar fontina, gorgonzola and taleggio.
i've tried their shroomed out pizza and stuffed af and i really love their pizza! their dough is legit! and the toppings ♡♡♡ amd the cheese! they also have vegan options which i haven't tried yet, more reasons to come back!
We looovvveee this pizza place! 😍😍 The Social Food park, where Crosta is located, is essentially a great place to relax with friends over an ice-cold beer or even for dates.
We ordered the Stuffed Cheesy AF pizza and the Shroomed out pizza and they did not disappoint at all. This is so great to pair with beer, which we did with the Engkanto beer in Lager. It's a nice smooth beer. 💕 The The Cheesy AF pizza was particularly outstanding since the stuffing was a delicious spinach mix. 😍😍😍 this is my favorite so far as far as thin crust pizzas go because every bite is so crunchy plus the seasoning with the salt on the dough works wonders.
GREAT VEGAN PIZZAS!Will I go back: I've been going back every time I'm in the area4.5 instead of 5 because we need more vegan pizzas, please!
Excellent! One of the best pizzas in town. Everything about it was perfect! If you like pizzas, you gotta try this one. I hope they don't change their recipes as they get more popular.
By far the best vegan pizzas available in the Philippines. Worth the price and the travel. Also had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the place. She was lovely. Definitely coming back here again.
Aged pizza dough? It's something I've heard in the US but I haven't really tried anything like it here in Manila... till a few weeks ago. A pizza stall at Social on Ebro offers scrumptious premium pizzas at reasonable prices. And what sets it apart from fancier savory pies is its 48-hour aged dough.
This week, I was invited by Mary Love to try out Crosta Pizzeria at The Social on Ebro (Poblacion Makati’s first food park). The Social on Ebro has a vibrant ambiance and perfect for friends who are in need of some catching up (or just want to have a great time aka pregaming). But this isn’t about The Social on Ebro so let’s get back to the topic haha!
Its 5pm ,its Crosta Pizzeria time!!Quality pizzas without putting a hole in your pocket,a testament that great pizza can be affordable.
Very nice crust ,crispy on the edges yet chewy at the center. Dough was cured for 48 hours a process so tedious and laborious just to provide that distinct texture.
Tried the Pepperonley,Cheesy AF,the anchovy variant and the Margherita(basic bitch). As I'm a fan of tomato based pizza or even in pasta,my favorites are the Margherita and Pepperoni the tomato sauce was made from fresh tomatoes which is super good. But if you're into creamy cheese the Cheesy AF will not disapppint you, layers of quality cheeses will liven your cheesy craving.
The place is in Ebro St,Brgy. Poblacion ,Makati ,very easy to spot ,there is a big graffiti of a black panther above this joint.A very gypsyish and hip area very reminiscent of the artsy and graffiti laden back alleys of Hong Kong, Australia and Bangkok.Stirring up the backpacker in me.

This is the Pizza, the Philippines has been waiting for!! Loved the crust, amazing toppings and cheeses. Best pizza in Manila, without a doubt! Pork You and Shroomed Out for the win!!
Crosta is Italian for Crust, coincidentally this is also the name of the newest kid to join the Poblacion Foodie Block.
How do you say "hello" in Italian....
Buon Giorno, Crosta Pizzeria!
The invite was graciously extended by some of the coolest peepz in the foodiesphere.
Crosta occupies the most colorful x eye-catching faux edifice at Erbo Street. Stop at your tracks when you see yellow 😀.
The gracious owners greeted us with warm smiles and enthusiasm. Ingga and Tom briefly explained how Crosta is born. The joint is born out of love for pizza and their passion to bring quality on every slice.
They offer six variants:
| Basic Bitch
| Pepperonley
| Shroomed Out
| Cheesy AF
| Pork You
| The Retiree
Note: Vegan and Non-Dairy options available.
We got to try the following - Cheesy AF, Shroomed Out and Pepperonley.
The cheese variant is not the typical Quattro Formaggio as they use five types of Cheese - mozzarella, fontina, taleggio, paremesan and goat cheese. This is the first time i've heard of taleggio cheese. As per Tom, this is not commonly used for pizza and it also comes with a hefty price tag. Using taleggio on the pizza elevated the flavor. The mild x fruity notes added depth x dimension. This is the best Cheese Pizza in the face of the Pizza universe. And can i just say that naming this baby Cheesy AF is f$&@ing brilliant.
The Pepperonley is made of homemade pizza sauce (yes, they use fresh tomatoes 🍅), mozzarella, salami and parmesan. This is not the usual pepperoni pizza - Crosta's pizza sauce is the shiz. There is a perfect balance of acidity that compliments ze other elements.
Shroomed out is a lovely concoction of shitake, portobello, white button, fontina, taleggio, mozzarella and fresh thyme. I love me some shrooms! Man, the mushrooms and the cheese is nothing but awesome. A wonderful mixture of earthy and salty notes. Each bite is an assault on your palate and will you "shroomed out" and wanting for more.
The pizza dough is handmade and made of high quality flour. And get this, 48 hours aged dough y'all. Trust me, you would know the difference after the first bite. The soft x chewy x crunchy texture of the crust is all sorts of wonderful. It is mind-boggling. REALLY 😵
So what sets Crosta apart among the other pizza joints? They live by this mantra - "Make Pizza Great Again!"
Visit Crosta NOW. YES NOW. You're welcome.
