We keep coming back for Dynamite Rolls! Two faves in one roll - maki and ebi tempura. Big servings, crunchy and yummy. I could eat this all day - kung 'di lang siya mabigat sa tiyan🤣 Skip Shoyu most especially when you've been to Nagi or Ippudo, order Chuukra Ramen instead - it has a much bolder taste

JIPAN @ GLORIETTA: I’ve recently developed this weird, recurring craving for a roll, covered in ,tobiko, doused with kewpie mayo, and has some sort of fried element. I pair this with the most random thing- Agadashi Tofu. I’ve been ordering that combo at every Japanese restaurant that I’ve been in, some have better agadashi tofu but not so good rolls, some have good rolls but agadashi tofu is subpar, but the winner so far for both good agadashi and rolls has been Jipan.
AGADASHI TOFU: In some restaurants, the tofu is too firm and the taste of soy overpowers the thin layer of batter + sauce that coat it. The tofu here is cut smaller and is silken, so the tofu : batter : sauce ratio is perf 👌🏼 ROLLS: I love rolls with tobiko cos it gives it a subtle, salty crunch. Jipan’s Dynamite Roll has all sorts of crunch going on with the tempura, the tobiko, and the tanuki and I’ve literally craved this on a weekly basis!!!!!! GYUDON: I also ordered a gyudon cos I was a hungry gal lol and it’s delish. Vs. Yoshiniya: it’s meatier and has noodles.
Special mention to their Monroe bread: it’s like a croissant loaf that they use in some of their sandwiches. But their sandwiches didn’t make the cut (for my standards lol) so Skip the sandwich, buy Monroe bread from the Jipan bakery and make a better sandwich or a delicious french toast.
Next time I do want to try their pastas! I miss Japanese style pasta (esp with CREAM) and their carbonara looks interesting.
I went here to treat my friend for a belated birthday celebration. We ordered Omu Rice, Beef Curry, Jipan Poppers, and two iced tea. All in all I would say the dining experience was fine. The food was served in less than 15 minutes so it was still hot. The Omu Rice was presented well and taste great as well. The Beef Curry, though not very appealing in it's presentation taste good too, the beef was well-cooked together with the carrots. The Jipan Poppers was crunchy and the dip they provided complimented it. The reason I'm giving it a four is because of the ambience, maybe because it was located in the middle, where people are just passing by, and you can get distracted easily. Anyway, the staff were kind and quite attentive too.
Great japanese food in Jipan! We ordered cold soba, curry rice and gyudon rice bowl and so far everything tastes good. For very picky eaters, this place may not be as cozy as you expect. It is located along the hallway of glorietta. So if you dont like shoppers staring at you, find a seat inside the resto.
Ebi Fry Curry Rice was good but the tempura were small and nothing special. I would consider it pricey given the serving size.
We also ordered the Salmon Cream Cheese Roll which was so-so, and the Crunchy Salmon Maki which we loved.
We'll only order makis and sushis here since that seems to be their specialty.
Okomiyaki is great tasting as well as the gyudon. Polite attentive staff, reasonable serving time and price. Acceptable alternative for those craving some Japanese food but dont have the budget yet to fly to Japan. 🤣🤣🤣

The place is easy to spot. There are, I think, just less than 10 tables to accommodate their customers. The price is a little bit high but the serving size is really big. The taste and texture of the food is very very good. We're gonna try their pastries next time. Overall, we had a good experience here.
It's located in the middle of Glorietta so expect a line especially in peak hours.

Their Shoyu Ramen and Ji Pan’s Carbonara is something you’d expect from any Japanese restaurant. The only difference is the size of these dishes — the Shoyu Ramen can be for 2 people, while the Carbonara has generous amount of creamy sauce.
Their bestseller from the Sushi Bar is the Dynamite Roll — a combination of Ebi tempura, kani, tamago, cucumber, crunchy tempura bits, and kewpie sauce. This dish is the best among the ones we ordered. The crunchy tempura bits topping is the bomb! It’s a must-try!
Jipan is well-known as one of the homes of good breads and other pastries. I mean, no one can deny that Japanese breads are one of the most loved pastries in the market – soft, tasty, and affordable. Itching for new eats in the metro? Me and my sis never thought of dining in JiPan like ever because we knew it only with their breads. Jipan, apparently, is a cafe/ bakeshop offering authentic and quality Japanese food served fresh on the table. From breads, to sushi, ramen, even mochi donuts. I have to say that this is one of the best Japanese cafes I’ve ever been to.

Jipan’s breads and sandwiches are delicious and of good quality living up to the reputation of Japanese bakeries. The breads are sooooft and the offerings are unique and tasty.
They have a wide selection of dishes in their menu and I’ve tried quite a few, which I enjoyed, like the Salmon Chirashi, Tempura, and Seafood Sandwich.
But for this visit the focus was on this Chicken Salad sandwich which was yummy and served with a side of skinny fries.
It's a pretty good place. :) the bread here is also good. I had the katsudon which was pretty big and the amount of pork was quite generous. The salmon cream cheese was also pretty enjoyable. :)
I consider this restaurant as one of my places for comfort food. The dynamite roll is just a bomb! I can eat this all and the taste is owsoyummy! You should pay a visit here if you wish to try authentic Japanese food.
Crew are polite and has a great customer service. Although location is not that cozy it’s fine coz they have nice chairs and tables. Fast service and cool plate.. In terms of food their Ramen here is the best, Large serving that you will enjoy. And they have this dynamite roll, it’s like a California maki with a twist.

Jipan is usually full especially during weekends even if their food is quite pricey. Their dining area is extended in the hallway (there are 2 other restaurants beside it who does the same) since they also sell breads and pastries (tastes good too!) which occupies half of the dining area inside the restaurant. We ordered bolognese spag and it was so delicious! The serving is just right, enough for a very hungry person ;-) The staff are courteous and attentive.

We recently tried this Online app again because of the whopping 50% discount. What i appreciate is that the staff are well informed and did not bat an eyelash just because we were using a discount. For the Food we had the Spaghetti Bolognese, The Chicken Monroe Sandwich and the Ramen. We enjoyed the spaghetti, it was meaty and flavorful. There was enough sauce to fill another plateful of noodles. The parmesan cheese on the side was appreciated. The sandwich on the other hand, although i liked, my parents did not appreciate the excessive amount of shredded cabbage acting as extender to the Chicken. They said that all they can taste was cabbage. The Bread was exceptional which is a plus. The Ramen was probably their weakest. For the Regular price, i wouldn't recommend it. It was salty and the Noodles, you can get it else where with the same price but better tasting. Out of the three, the spaghetti Bolognese would be something i would order again. Try the dessert too. The Banana Foster Perdue. It is exceptional in softness and amount of creamy butter taste. Recommended.
A favorite spot in the middle of Glorietta to have some tasty Japanese staples like noodles, donburi, sushi.
Also good for pastries and coffee. Their matcha donut is very good!
Service is quick and efficient. Gets crowded during lunch so make sure you get here early enough.

After 3 years, I finally get to taste good Japanese food again here at Jipan :) Their spicy tuna is definitely a must try :) It's not too hot...just about right. And their hot tea is worth trying as well. Finally, it's their sushi and sashimi that makes me want to come back for seconds, thirds, fourths...etc!
Jipan is a small restaurant located in the middle of a hall in Glorietta 3. At first I didn’t expect to wait for minutes just to be seated, but now I know why.
Food:
We ordered Cold Soba, Crunchy Salmon Roll, and Oyakudon. From the three, I recommend the Salmon Roll and Oyakudon, but all of them were delicious and served in big portions.

Very friendly and helpful despite the late hours of the day.
I have tried Jipan twice and as i have read from other reviews it seems that service was the problem for most people. What I have experienced regaeding their service is quite similar for as far as service time and order is concerned. Aside from this I have no other problem with Jipan, we usually order their dynamite maki if im not mistaken. This is the gigantic california maki roll served with lots of toppings. It tastes so good but quite overwhelming on your third piece. Other items that we ordered some sort of ramen and a gohan and they taste quite okay. For me the dynamite maki is the remarkable food item here that ive tasted, the rest are quite xoxo.
It was my first time to dine at Jipan. I'm not really a big fan of restos that let you dine along mall hallways. But boy, was I surprised when I saw the tempting 'dynamite roll' at the other guest's table. Yum!😋 Jipan did not disappoint. It wasn't only pleasing to the eye but to the palate as well. It was delicious and filling. Rightly priced, I must say. I will definitely be back for more. 👍🏼
Known for their delicious bread and pastries, Jipan also serves quite a variety of Japanese dishes. My favorite is their dynamite roll. The size and number of the rolls are enough to be full even for two person. The delectable taste is also unique since I’ve never tasted anything like it in other Japanese restaurants and sushi places.
Jipan’s dynamite rolls are extremely satisfying. The serving size is good for two people. The tempura bits mixed with Kewpie sauce is the perfect companion for the already scrumptious rolls. I could order just this one dish and I’ll be happy and contented.
The place can get pretty crowded during peak hours as I, myself, have experienced when I went there for dinner. I was alone so it was easier for me to be seated.
I ordered the Tuna Melt on Thick Toast and he Spaghetti in Miso Mushroom Sauce. The sandwich was just okay. I didn't enjoy it as much because the"spread" was just in top. I liked the fries, though. But the pasta is another story. I really love the mushroom sauce and the serving was good for two, if you are not that hungry.
They offer other dishes and have breads as well. Hopefully, I can try these soon.
Jipan is always packed. Fortunately, we easily got a table for 2. I love that they offer much more than Japanese food. They have rice meals, pasta, sandwiches, desserts.
For our afternoon chow, we had Chicken Salad Sandwich on Monroe (php215), and Salmon Sashimi (php355).
Sashimi was sliced in smaller, thick portions. I had to seriously chew the salmon this time. Not the best sashimi I've had, but I finished every bit. Complimentary house tea was also served.

We've been looking for an affordable Japanese restaurants while walking at Glorietta, then i saw this little place along the walk-side and a lot of people eating and indulging their food and i was tempted. 😆 so here's my short review: Good food. Great value for money. Loved their dynamite roll oozing with flavor and huge servings! Too bad i already deleted my picture of kani salad, beef gyudon and chicken teriyaki. Everything tasted yummy but not sure with their ramen. But we'll surely go back! PS they have the best beef gyudon too.
Spicy salmon roll , ebi fry and tonkatsu 🖤🖤🖤 I love all of them and their salmon roll is cheaper compare to other japanse restaurants. I noticed a little diffrence to their miso soup too. Unlike before , it is tastier.

Upon recommendation of my good friend that this place is worth going to for some Japanese food and their baked goods that go on discount by 9 pm to closing time. I never hesitated to try it out. There were hits and misses during our visit, service was a bit slow during that dinner service. Also their dalandan shake tasted it was powder made from Tang concentrate and not the fresho one. Although the ones we ordered like my Ebi Curry was tasty enough for me to return. Even their spicy tuna salad was one other reasons to try it once more. Overall I hope my next visit would not be a disaster.

This branch has many good dishes, appetizers, breads, and pastries. Actually, there are too many to mention but here are some to help you get started.
Chocola Chocola is a chocolate pastry that is mildly sweet. Sometimes I think about eating this at the mall cinemas instead of popcorn. Think of this as a bigger, more compact version of their Mini Cacao Croissants.
Katsu Curry Rice is always tempting to order again and again, even though the level of spiciness isn't always consistent. The flavor of the curry plus all the carrot and potato chunks make it worth it! And, of course, the pork tonkatsu has good breading and tender meat.
Kouign Amann is a very sweet pastry coated with delicious caramel goodness, and it's really fun to bite into. It can be a bit heavy so I suggest sharing or consuming later.
Mango Cake is something I won't recommend though some might still like it. Yes, the toppings are photo-friendly and even deliciously sweet, but I won't get a cake if the "chiffon" portion isn't that great.
Salmon Cream Cheese Roll is deliciously just right. The skin on top is crunchy and the filling is cold and creamy!
Salmon Head in Miso Soup has a lot of delicious fish meat. The serving is very heavy and worth it. Sharing is optional.
Seafood Okonomiyaki is meant for sharing. I enjoy this because it tastes like takoyaki. It's like a pancake or pizza eaten with chopsticks and enduring fingers. I say enduring because the challenge is keeping its form whole after slicing...also with chopsticks.
Spicy Tuna Roll, also interchangeable with salmon at the same price, is very delicious, filling, and good for 2-4 people. 1 starving person can finish it as well. That'd be me!
Sukiyaki is sweet, literally and figuratively! It's good for 1-2 tummies and you can request it to be split into 2 bowls. The beef is slightly tough but no problem with the noodles. Egg is love!
Unagi Don (River Eel) would be my default dish if it wasn't so expensive. This shouldn't be too alarming though because unagi is usually priced that way elsewhere.
My neck is, once again, killing me so I'll throw in a quick list of some of the other good stuff:

We have been to Jipan quite a number of times. We love the generous portions of their sushi not to mention that they are really flavorful. Our piggery would go so far to say that Jipan's sushi is way better than Teriyaki Boy's and Sugi's.
It's a bit pricey though.
I love that the Glorietta branch has no walls and your table is right smack in the center for everyone to see. Hubby doesnt like it though 😜
Service is relatively ok although if all tables are full it takes a while for the waiters to get your requests. Having said that, I still have a hankering to eat there periodically especially when Im craving for some fat spicy sushi
Had our lunch here yesterday. The place is small and you have to dine outside the cafe/restaurant but food is superb. Enjoyed my Chuukara ramen so much🤗
Also, serving is big I was not able to finish it and had to share it with my friends. Their Dynamite Roll is a must try too! Will definitely come back and dine here again. 💙
I definitely love their breads especially the monroe bread which reminded me of the kind of bread I had in Japan years back. I love their noodles and most of he food in their menu. Their price is reasonable as they have huge servings.

The food here is great. I love their chirashi sushi, spicy tuna salad and their sukiyaki. I highly recommend those three when you come here. The ebi fry curry and the katsu curry were ok. Their dynamite roll was a little too big to eat in one bite but if you have no problems with that then you'll love it. Food - 4.5
The place is a bit weird cause the tables are outside so if you don't really care that some people will look at you as they walk by then you'll be ok. Meh.. They could just be jealous from the delicious meal you're eating.

Gyudon was cheap but can be for sharing. I loved that it's so flavorful and has noodles in it so it can really make you full. Boyfie had Katsudon but I was not able to try it.

We looooove sushi, so we went here to try their sushi pizza. But... I think I prefer the usual sushi. Though I guess it is something new to try. I just didn't appreciate the raw, juicy combination that usual sushi have. The rice was still sticky, a bit fried? so it will stick together to serve as the crust for the pizza. Avocado was not available at the time so mango was served with the sushi, japanese mayo and, the fish eggs. For me, I usually taste the sushi first, then the veggies and the rice. But the "pizza" was a bit thick, I can't eat it in one bite so maybe that's why it's not the same. Or maybe their rice was thick? Anyway, next order...
We had a metrobank card so they had buy 1, take 1 promo and we had the pirokira teishoku which was served with miso soup, salad, and rice. It reminded me a bit of tapa, which was a bit too salty then the spice part would kick in at the end. But since it was promo, the price was good for value since the serving was big. My boyfriend was able to finish everything but had leftover of the beef part... maybe it was also too salty to be eaten without rice? Well, that's my opinion.
I ordered the sukiyaki, which was okay. Serving bowl was big, it was sweet and I liked it. There was egg, tofu, and mushroom though the sweet soup was enough for me.
My friend had the chosu ramen, which was also okay. It wasn't as thick as the usual ramen that I usually eat. She only requested for mild spice, but it seems that her food was spicier than the pirokira.
Anyway, time for food to be served was prompt. But their tables was a bit small and cramped for 4 people. Staff was friendly.

Everytime we pass by Jipan, there were just a lot of people dining and line was queuing. Totally understandable because they have a small spaces for dining. I got really curious why that every time we pass by, there's just a long queue. Yesterday we Davide's to try their ramen and their appetizers. Now my curiosity ended, they had good ramen, gyoza and maki with big servings. I loved their food.

One of my favorites in Glorietta,my favorite dish here is the katsu curry rice very good,I like the flavor of the curry which is very light and mild on the belly.I also go to this outlet for their breads and pastries as pasalubong and as a grab and go eats.Been patronizing this joint for a decade.
I love anything with salted egg. I went crazy with the salted egg prawns of Din Tai Fung and I fell in love with Stella’s salted egg chips. I also hoard those colored eggs whenever I see it in Greenhills. And when I heard that Jipan sells salted egg croissants, I just have to visit it ASAP. I used to frequent its SM Megamall branch when I was younger and go crazy with its chocolate croissants. But this time around, I went with Salted Egg Croissant (PHP125). I also had a bag of Matcha Croissants (PHP180, 10 pieces) to go.
Great food, wide variety of choices. Fresh and prime ingredients. Though tables are situated in the hallway of the mall, they have a lot of customers I think it's time they get a bigger place, enclosed so that eating can be a lot enjoyable experience

Their Dynamite Roll is undeniably worth it for the price and for the serving, and even for the taste. I highly recommend it to everyone. I had their hot matcha latte, it was just okay. I don't think I'm having it again hehe. I ordered their pasta bolognese which I liked. The serving and taste were just right for the price. It is not too oily and too meaty (that you would feel "bleh" afterwards) Their soup is soooo delicious. Also a must when you go here. My tita ordered their Beef Teriyaki while my lola had Chicken Teriyaki. The latter was better because the sweetness and saltiness of the sauce was just right. Their beef teriyaki somehow tastes like tocino because of the sauce, which is not a good combination for me hehe. The staff was not that friendly and the location of the place was kinda off because you have to eat outside and people passing by would see you eat. That's why it's between 3.5-4.0. I would still come back because of their food (and I would love to try their pastries!) ❤️
If you're craving for japanese and if you're on a budget, this is the place to be. Tables and chairs are setup in an open space, where mall shoppers will pass you by while you're eating. This is one of our default places to eat when in Glorietta. When you look for value for money for Japanese food, go here. Their unique menu also always makes me wanna go back.
What I love most here is their Fire Dragon Roll, especially the special sauce on top. It literally made me dance. As for the Spicy Tuna Salad, I've tasted better ones. The Salmon Sushi Pizza looks and tastes appetizing though I suggest to have this as for-sharing food because too much can be satiating. Nothing special with the JiPan Poppers and a tad pricey for little balls. It just had cheese in it.
The Chuukara Ramen is one of those I'd like to order on rainy days, with its hot temp and little spicy taste. It's flavor is just right or maybe it's because I'm a sucker for corn :) Also tried the Dynamite Roll and Spicy Tuna roll and theyre not bad for their price. Last thing I ordered there was the Banana Foster Jipan Perdu as dessert. The sweetness of the banana syrup with the texture and taste of the bread blend really well. Definitely one of those I'll order again.
First time to try the Ebi Fry Set Meal at Jipan and found it average tasting. The ebi fry looked perfectly breaded and fried but tasted a bit dry. Good thing it was paired with a garlic dip. The Gyudon was too flavorful. I only tasted the vermicelli though.
Jipan's redeeming factor was the salted egg croissant. Every bite had the mix of flakiness and salted egg custard which I liked. I'd definitely go back to try other pastries and the dynamite maki!
Our go-to place for a quick japanese fix at glorietta conplex. Affordable, good proportions, quality and tasty food. We ordered curry katsu set, seafood okonomiyaki, beef teriyaki set and beef gyudon. All of which we enjoy. The teriyaki set is not value for money (very few beef). Seafood okomiyaki is a must try. Curry set is so so. We didnt order maki because is find it too expensive (400pesos). Overall, still a good jap resto. Fast service 👍

I usually go for the usual maki and ramen but tried their set meals this time. The set meal's quite decent for its price which includes a bowl of miso soup,rice and kani salad. The taste was good for its price scale specifically the ebi fry set meal.
Surprisingly awesome! Delivery was fast! Food was great 😃😉 I thought were going to have the food later than expected but we were wrong! We ordered California Maki and Dynamite Roll. Will definitely try it again!

Been a fan of their Monroe bread since the first time I've been there. Moist, flavorful and pardon my lack of word for it "salivate-ful" bread. Hahaha😄 Also their dynamite roll is unforgetful...big serving, yummy and never a wrong move. Just wish they could relocate to a closed venue and not along the hall of Glorietta. It somehow distracts me knowing that passersby can see me gorge through their delcioso meals like a horse.
I love this restaurant. The food is very delicious no matter what I order. The servings are worth the money.I also love their pastries. I would always get some to take home to my family and friends.
Jipan has always been 1 of my favorite stopovers for a quick bite in between shopping sprees. The place might be small and cramped but this just adds to its charm. Be prepared to queue for a bit as Jipan is a popular foodstop but fret not. The wait is not that long and gives you a moment to browse their menu offerings and latest bread/pastries on sale. I have already introduced several friends to the Jipan experience and they can't stop raving about Jipan even after we have already paid and left. Big in taste and servings. :) Their dynamite roll, seafood okonomiyaki, ebi tempura and spicy tuna salad never fail to impress. Breads and pastries make for delicious take away snacks.
Ive eaten here twice and its always so good. Their specialty rolls are one of the best in the area. The prices are descent also for the location.
Dynamite is to die for. This is a must-order in our every visit. Their noodles is good for sharing. Miso soup is also good. Good service, too, & their price is very affordable! Yummy!

Ever since I can remember, Jipan has been around a long time. Particularly the ones in Megamall and in Glorietta 4. I remember Jipan for 2 things, the bread and the ramen. They definitely bake among the best quality breads around. I often buy a loaf or 2 of their monroe bread or their english bread to take home and use to make sandwiches. They also have great croissants and fancy mochi donuts.
Another good thing about Jipan is their dine in facility. Way before the boom of ramen places in the metro, Jipan already had it going. In fact, they actually have a good selection of Japanese dishes on their menu. My favorite in particular is the Chuukara Ramen. I highly consider this a classic amongst great ramens that Pinoy's crave for nowadays. I like Jipan's Chuukara Ramen specifically because of its hot spicy nature. It is appetizing to eat and gives one a good full feeling afterwards. The broth is so tasty and has its share in the total spiciness of the dish. It is even made more potent by the spicy ground pork, a good serving of pork slices, some vegetables and poached egg. I really go back for this just like with the other ramen that I consider my favorites.

Jipan has been situated in Glorietta for quite a long time already. I've heard good reviews from my friends about it but I only got to try it the other day. I am glad to have ordered their Chuukara Ramen which is the spicy kind and their Dynamite Rolls - looked like the crowd's favorite because almost all tables ordered it. However, not too pleased with their Spicy Salmon Salad. It's not part of their menu but since they offered it in the absence of tuna (I always, always order spicy tuna salad in Japanese restos), the curious side of me agreed.

Always pass by at this side of Glorietta and I always notice this restaurant. I thought they only sell bread because of their name.
Moreover, their food is good. Didn't expect such big servings that is good for sharing so its okay for their price. We ordered Dynamite Roll, Yakisoba Okonomiyaki, Gyoza, Onigiri, Omu Rice and Teriyaki set. Their miso soup is tasty too and has these crunchy fillings I don't know what. Lol
