Kipp’s has been part of my childhood and until now it’s still operating at SM Southmall food court! This is one of the best fried chicken on my list! I love everything! The spanish rice and the gravy complements well with the chicken. I can eat Kipp’s everyday! Haha

Ever since I was a child, this is my go to fastfood meal. It took a long time before I was able to eat here again ever since their branch in SM north closed down. What can I say, the taste of the chicken is still the same from before. Really crunchy on the outside, juicy inside. This won't be the "best" fried chicken for some people BUT this chicken is the best for me since it brings a hint of nostalgia. (Think of an OFW eating chicken joy again after 10 years). The rice, chicken and gravy alone is nothing special but when you combine all 3 of them it really compliments each other.
Hoping you guys would open more branches.
This fried chicken shop never really took off unlike its competitors, but Kipp's Chicken certainly built a cult following that has sustained the business for decades. There used to be more food court branches in the past. The ones left are found in SM Southmall and SM Megamall which is a right balance to accommodate the crowds from both parts of the Metro. I love their Thrift Pack since it has a wing and rib part. The Spanish rice is nothing more than achuete colored fried rice. The gravy is great, it compliments the already flavorful fried chicken. The skin is crispy but delicately crunchy. Flavorful even the inside. The macaroni salad, you can skip. It lacks taste even if it is swimming in mayonnaise. Recommended.
I've been meaning to try this ever since I've seen a post in instagram mentioning it's good. True to that, the chicken was cooked well, flavorful and juicy. For its price, it's definitely value for money. Definitely will have more of this.
This place in the food court gets 5 stars from me because they're cheap, simple, and really good! Their gravy tastes like KFC gravy and their chicken is really juicy and crispy. Will definitely be back.
My favorite chicken ever since I was still in grade school (2000s). The chicken, gravy, rice, macaroni, still taste the same. Very consistent. I can still remember where it was located in the food court before SM Southmall was renovated. The staff (since 2000s) still work with Kipp's up to now.
Bata pa lang ako, nabibilhan na namin ni mama ang mga hanggang ngayon ay staff pa rin ng Kipp’s Chicken. Katunayan, nasa baba pa ang food court ng SM Southmall noon. Isa ito sa mga trip na pang-amin lang ni mama. Kung mag-isa raw si mama ay nagtatanong sila kung nasaan ako. Sa mga minsang pag-uwi at pagbili sa kanila, madalas silang magulat na ang laki ko na (at nagbabayad na nga ng sariling order).
Our visit at SM Southmall will never be complete, without Kipp's Chicken! 😍

I love their chicken since i was a kid. Their gravy matches with the taste of their chicken. Plus the staff and manager at this outlet is very friendly so thumbs up 👍🏻
There's just something in their chicken or gravy that I love so much! Even if they are only located in SM's food court, this is where I always want to eat if I crave for chicken. Been eating here since 2001 and it still got the same taste. 2-pc chicken java rice and extra gravy FTW!!

Been eating there since 1996, college days. Back when the SM foodcourt was in the ground floor. T'was very afordable and still up to this day. You can deny that their chicken is good and also their gravy. I recently introduced kipp's to my family and they loved it. Once a month we eat there.
Kipps is one of the best chickens in town! I was surprised that it was so scrumptious. You wont regret eating here especially because its so affordable!
One of the best fried chicken's out there. Try their thriftpack with extra spanish rice and your all fueled up for the day. Must try for everyone who wants to try fried chicken with a different twist.

I know it's not very fine dinning and all but their is just the best chicken i've ever tasted and even if their stores are just found in the food court area their food is still good. Their chicken is the best makes me feel like a kid again. Comfort food! Oh and their gravy is also the best!
