Chef Ed’s corned pepper steak is our all-time favorite. He has kept it consistent all these years, affordable price and hotel grade taste!

We always eat at skillets and grill because its near our place and yummy foods. I love the tuna al ajillo, boneless chicken in mushroom gravy, squid al ajillo and for dessert mango flambe. The owner is nice and down to earth. He is the one who cook the orders.
I've eaten here multiple times in the last 4 years. Chicken with cream is a must. Igado is definitely another must try. Pinakbet is a sure winner too.
A friendly and accessible place that accepts credit card payments. We normally call to order ahead and then pick it up in time for lunch time. I highly recommend their extra special pansit Isabela which we have ordered multiple times already to serve when we have guests at home.
My parents personally know Chef Ed so we tried dining in for my dad's birthday. The food was really delicious. The staff were friendly and were able to accommodate my mom despite her being in a hurry. It's affordable as well. Pictures below were what we ate. I suggest you try their boneless chicken - no regrets.
It has been a while since I last went to this side. I really can’t remember. There are new establishments here and there. Not sure when this restaurant was established but what exactly is cooking at this restaurant?. Established in 1999, they do have a catering service still on top of this restaurant. The seats are a bit limited but I think they have a 2nd floor. Not sure if those are their function halls as there seems to be an event going on. They have a variety of dishes to choose from, and below was what we had.
Skillets is just a 5min. Walk from our house, but we always forget na ganun lang kalapit & that it's actually good & cheap.
Cheap in a way na nakakagulat kasi mura yung food & marami din ang serving.
The food is good, I can't comment much about it kasi okay naman talaga.
So for me, it's a yes. 😂☺️
The location of the restaurant is very convenient for us because we live in the same neighborhood. They have a very limited parking spots for customers, I think they only have about 3 parking spots in front of their resto and the rest would be parked somewhere near the resto where the place is not well lit.
The resto have a wide variety of items in their menu. The food tastes good, ambiance is quite fair, service is a little bit disappointing, but overall, if you’re looking for a place near you that specializes in Filipino food, then this is a good place to dine.
A great neighborhood restaurant that offers delicious food at affordable prices, plus their servings are huge. We love their calamares, lengua and their pansit Canton is most have at family reunions.
One of the go to place for good food. I have a quick chat with the owner and he mentioned that they do their marketing everyday so their ingredients are fresh and not frozen. My husband loves their nilasing na hipon and i love their steaks and calamares.
Never thought I would give a restaurant a five star!! And also, I never thought that this restaurant is a bomb! 👌🏻 Super sarap everything. I personally ordered Cornpepper steak with mushroom. Super lambot ng meat and sulit na for 168 pesos. Pork sarabsarab is definitely a must try. It's like kinilaw at beer na lang ang kulang. We also ordered Sweet and chili shrimp with garlic and Pancit Isabela.
Service was great. Ambiance is appropriate and food was exemplary! You must try pork sarabasab and tuna sinigang sa miso at mustasa, authentic and organic Filipino cuisine comparable to high end restaurants

Skillets Restaurant and Catering used to be a rugged catering warehouse that looks like it was on the brink of foreclosure. It was a good thing that they decided to renovate and make the lot into a fully-functional air-conditioned restaurant. Did the gamble pay off? We think that it did. The restaurant is usually packed during weekend dinners and we’ve witnessed a few events around Las Pinas where they were the ones chosen to cater.
We visited on an early Friday night and ordered their popular bestsellers such as pinakbet bagnet, pork sarabasab, inihaw na liempo, calamares, onion rings, and beef salpicao. We had calamares and onion rings as appetizers and both were perfectly golden brown, crispy and flavorful. It came with a classic ketchup-mayo dip which perfectly complimented the fried goodies.
Their pinakbet bagnet (sautéed vegetables with shrimp paste and fried pork belly) and inihaw na liempo (grilled pork belly) and came plated in a small “kawali” which we think is most appropriate symbol for Filipino cuisines. A kawali is a Filipino cooking vessel which is the same as the Chinese wok but thicker. It is the most widely used cooking vessel in the Philippine and it is found in every household.
We've been dining at Skillets ever since I can remember (they used to be at Starmall Las Piñas). Their Boneless Chicken in Mushroom Gravy and Mango Flambe are must-trys! Servers are also very nice and accommodating.
Their pork sarabasab is a must try! Their boneless chicken is good too. :) servings are great! Waiters were also very attentive to customers needs.🖒🖒🖒
I like the ambience of the place, besides the food. It amazes me that they use a lot of props/materials in serving. For some of their dishes, they use small pots and woks to serve the food. With water, they place it in clean wine bottles which is a nice touch.
This is a very familiar place for me. I was actually sad when their branch near Starmall closed. I love their pansit. It was the right amount of everything.
What I go crazy about is their BONELESS CHICKEN! I don't know what is it with that particular dish but I really really go crazy about it. When my dad orders here, I make it to a point that there would be 1 Boneless Chicken for me because if he only orders 1, I usually get everything. :)
Comfort food made gourmet! Very accommodating staff and the Chef and his wife took time to explain the dishes we ordered. Value for money indeed!
I absolutely loved the laid back, family business vibe of the place. It has just the right amount of cozy. I love the no-frills steak options. We had red wine to go with the meal and it complemented the meat well. The steak was a good size. The turon dessert was a familiar favorite in a unique presentation. It was longer and thinner with a generous heaping of chocolate sauce. I got more than my money's worth. This place is packed during dinner but Sunday brunch time is a good time to go. Parking may be a challenge during the night time.
We were looking for a place to eat merienda but ended up eating lunch. Food is very good... 5.0! Value for money, great food, service and very nice ambiance! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Truly HEAVENLY FOOD AT PRICES SO GOOD!
I'm with my family once again. We ordered Boneless Chicken Mushroom Gravy, Beef Salpicao, Chopsuey, Squid Al Ajillo and Boneless Chicken BBQ. I had to order 2 types of chicken dishes because of my kids. My favorites would be the Chicken with Mushroom Gravy and the Salpicao. The gravy is very very creamy and the Salpicao has this flavorful & garlicky sauce. Th BBQ is your typical sweet BBQ flavor. The Chopsuey is not that so special. The squid is a little bit tough and that has this soy sauce-like sauce. The place has this warm mood. The staff is nice and very accomodating. They served the food in just the right time. We probably waited 10 minutes and they served all the food almost simultaneously. I would say I will come back for more.
Perfect place for a family dinner. Everything's great from the food to the place itself. Medyo hassle lang sa parking but overall... 👍👍👍

Sawa na ba kayo sa Max's? Gerry's? O Gilligan's? Subukan niyo tong Skillets sa BFRV! From a humble caterer during events and parties, ngayon may restaurant na sila. Price range nila is same as the restaurants aforementioned above, 600-800php for 2 people.
Yung gusto ko sa restaurant nila ay yung ambiance eh, the setting really gives you a Filipino-Bisaya vibe. About the food, you can order anything you want, almost everything is delicious. Pero kung gusto niyo magstart somewhere, try ordering their boneless chicken with mushroom gravy at siguro pati na rin yung inihaw na liempo and sisig nila. Start it from there then the rest will be exploration for you guys. Add sinigang na baboy if you want soup-in-betweens.
Ambiance will give a 4/5 kase if you get unlucky, sa taas kayo uupo and minsan di pa bukas yung aircon dun so magaantay pa kayo lumamig yung room sa taas.
Service is also 5/5
Serving size roughly 4.5/5 (dami ng serving ng liempo nila)
Overall 4.5/5, what lacks sa Skillets is yung parking nila outside masyadong maliit so i recommend going there on late lunches or early dinners.
Value for money - check! The best alternative if you don't like to cook. Their food is very homey and affordable. All time favorites are steak ala pobre and the sizzling boneless chicken in mushroom sauce and it can be good for 2 to a not so heavy eater!

Skillets and Grill is you best bet for an easy peasy way of getting some good old fashioned home cooking in the BF Resort area and not spend too much on your meal. if you came to try their bestsellers, please allow me to recommend their Sizzling chicken or the Steak with peppercorn gravy. Don't get both since the sauce is one and the same, so why not order something else to make sure you have your hearty meal. I have yet to come over and try their Tilapia sa Kamias which is quite intriguing. though the parking is really quite a daunting task, the food is really quite appealing.
Chef/tito ed the best chef in town. Very accommodating to customers and very hands on.. He's all over the restaurant making sure everything is perfect. You will feel that you're eating at home!
His boneless chicken in mushroom sauce is the BEST! 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Love everything we ordered! Pork sisig, chili shrimps, pancit, and boneless chicken with mushroom sauce! Affordable price but the taste is just superb!
The place has a homey touch to it. The menu may be simple but the foods are superb! My family loved the Kilawing Puso ng Saging. The owner is so hospitable pa. Will definitely go back here.
Perfect five stars! This place isn't getting the rave it deserves! The ambiance of the resto has a homey feel. It's like walking into mom's kitchen. Staff provides good and fast service. Great value for money too! We spent under P500 but we were so full coz their servings were big. And of course, the taste! The boneless chicken with mushroom gravy is the best. And the sisig was what you can say "putok-batok"! Definitely going back! 👍🏽
It exceeded my expectation of the food and service because of what it used to look like but surprisingly they have decent food and the service is good and the place is nice. Good place to eat if you don't want to cook or go somewhere far to grab somrthing to eat
THE. BEST.
The place is very accessible. The parking spaces tho are limited. The area is a little small for a family restaurant. The decor is homey, warm and a little country style i guess. It's also super clean. I think it's nice that they placed a tv there.
The employees are very accommodating and super duper friendly. They are very polite and professional. They also listen well to orders.
The food is delicious. Like super delicious. The ingredients are somehow always fresh or good in quality. The plating as well is commendable even though the serving time is usually fast. The serving size is i guess, okay I mean it could use a little here and there.. But the prices are very affordable.
Because of our frequent visits here the waiters already know what my bf and I order. What I usually buy here is the boneless chicken! I can't get enough of it! You could say I'm addicted to it HAHAHA but yeah you should try it cause it is the bomb. I swear. Try it.
wife and i had dinner 2 weeks ago. chef ed was courteous enough to ask how the food was, etc...
slight issue i had was with the flambé desserts. we had the mango variant. tasted good, served generously. small issue though... was expecting that it'd be served "with flame". (Flambé - French for flamed or flaming).
anyhoot, experience was generally fine. will be back definitely.
Excellent place inside a village. The food is a home cooked meal with great cooks and fast service. A lot to take in from the menu, just make sure to ask whats their best seller if its your first time. I gave it a 4.5 because you know how it is in the Philippines if you lived here for more then 2 years you would know that "parking is an issue". But the food is great, definitely a home cooked meal. Value for money. 7 of us about $40 not bad indeed. Also make sure to call first sometimes they are closed because of catering issue. One time we were so excited when we came at 10:30am they are still closed they told me the cooks aren't ready yet. They told us to wait outside for an hour. But all is good because the food is good. Must try guys. Filipino cuisine!
Tha is a very homey restaurant which serves really good food. We always go for their nilaseng for appetizer which is a battered shrimp with vinegar sauce on the side. Their chicken is different too very flavorful and crispy which my lil sisters love. They also have the most affordable steaks in the area for only 190 ++ depending on the size as well. And to end a very good meal is their famous mango flambé! You guys gotta try this restaurant.
It's my third time to try the food here and again, for the third time, they did not fail to amaze me with their homey ambiance and unbelievably delicious dishes. Really love everything I tried so far: Sarabasab (Pork Kinilaw — THE BEST!), Pinakbet, Bagnet and Lechon Kawali! 👍
This resto caught our attention because of the lightings. The place is nice and homey. The waiters are very attentive and accomodating. We ordered their special pancit isabela, chicken mushroom with white gravy sauce, pinakbet, puso ng saging, sinigang. I forgot the others but overall it's worth it. Price is very reasonable. Place is very clean. I guess they just need to improve on their serving time. If you are really hungry and can't afford to wait, go to fastfood instead

Sarap ng steak! Sulit sa price. :D
Also yung chicken na may white cream, yung gawa mismo ni chef. It's nice. You have to try their Ala Cognac steak! Medium rare lang para di matigas.
Great place for a family or barkada meal. Great ambiance, good service and good food. This is where I go when I crave for really tasty philippine comfort food. I just love their beef salpicao. Its also a good place to chill and have a bottle of beer or two.
Food was between good and great, just the way you like your filipino food but with a few twists which is positive. Ambience was very nice and the servings are so plenty! My mom actually enjoyed ordering that she didn't notice a lot has been ordered. We initially thought we were going to have baon for the next day but was suprised when the dishes became all empty! To our delight, we even ordered coffee "pampababa ng kinain" (which we don't normally do but because the ambience was very much like home). To top it all off, the bill was the lowest we got compared to all the other restaurants when we eat out. Definitely worth coming back, trying different food, and a whole new experience. :) that's it, I have to rest so I wont make bangungot. Hahaha #lulungadna #bestvalueformoney
I already came here 4 times in the past month now. Very homey environment. The place is amazing, food is excellent, servings are huge and good for sharing. The staffs are very attentive and friendly to the customers. The best part is the fast service whether it's dine in or take out. Food is very affordable. Must try: bagnet and sinigang
Down South, there's a homey restaurant really worth trying. I mean, there are so many things to try right inside the comfort of the South. But this one, just inside BF Resort Village, is once again making abuzz: the brand new old Skillets and Grill. They serve Filipino comfort foods with a twist!
Let me start with rice, my guess of the restaurant's name: rice served in a skillet. That's a total of six (6) cups of rice, by the way.
Here are some of their menu I've tried (and wrote about in my blog, too: hellosheena.blogspot.com)
1. For starters, their Onion Rings (Php 108), good for sharing, tastes just crispy right. It's served with everyone's favorite, ketchup-mayo sauce. I enjoyed eating this crunchy circles!
2. Their Boneless Chicken's (Php 208) a good try, too. Two 1/4 chicken served in their yummy white sauce. Even after the chicken's gone, it's still enjoyable 'licking' off the remnants. If they have bread, I could have sworn to wipe it off with that, too.
3. Then comes their Squid Alajillo (Php 168) recommended by their in-house chef. I don't particularly enjoy squid if it's not calamari. So I rely on my family's approval of these squishy squid. It's good, they say.
4. When I'm with family too, always there should be Pork Sisig with Egg (Php 158). Who wouldn't love sinful sisig, right? I love it, too. Albeit, I find much tasty those served in food courts.
5. Lastly, Beef Salpicao (Php 199) served with native vinegar. I didn't pay too much attention with the beef itself but coupled with vinegar, it's a surprisingly good combination.
I love it here because it feels so homey. Perfect with the family.
