Good Filipino food and they offer set meals that are really affordable. I guess crispy pata is their best seller as I could see it being present in each of the tables. Reserved a day ahead because we came in a group of 16 people. Before reaching the place, they called to inform us that our food will be served earlier than scheduled because they no longer had space in the kitchen. Oh well, it was still a good experience.
Gerry's grill, Offers an asian and filipino cuisine. They offer seafoods and grilled foods. They also offer a wide variety of affordable good filipino food. Visited their Ayala branch in the past and visited their Lapu lapu branch recently which is situated inside the Island Central Mall. The ambience is cozy and comfy. Place is clean. We ordered their grilled pusit, pork bbq, pork sinigang and kinilaw na tangigue. Their kinilaw is a must try, it was so fresh and tasty! Their sinigang soup was savory, their grilled pusit was marvelous! It wasnt rubbery, it was not chewy, but it was springy. It was perfectly tender! Their pork bbq though was overly sweet, that it felt like I was eating a dessert.Their staff were friendly. Service was a bit slow.
I can count only a few restaurants from Metro Manila that have earned a good reputation in Cebu's booming food scene. Gerry's Grill, in my opinion, definitely belongs among that select company. Now on its 20th year of business in the country, Gerry's has been warmly embraced by Cebuanos like one of our homegrown favorites.
Business seems to be flourishing here at its newest branch in Island Central Mactan. I don't know if it's the island vibe but the ambiance here is more appealing and the service level is much better.
Dining at Gerry's is never complete without ordering their bestselling Inihaw na Pusit (grilled squid) and Baked Scallops. But it was the delicious duo of Sugba Kilaw (combination of grilled pork belly & raw fish salad) and Seafood Rice that made our tummies really happy.
Disappointing, however, was the Sizzling Kangkong. Limp, watery and almost tasteless, we don't recommend ordering this vegetable dish. Nevertheless, that was the only flaw in an otherwise perfect lunch date.

Service was quick. The area was spacious. The staffs were smiling, responsive & friendly even their managers were there when we were dining. They also played good music which allowed us to enjoy our food even more. The price of their food matched its quality plus the servings were shareable. The foods were served on time & so far, it didnt fail our taste buds :)
