The pizza is one of the best that i have tasted in Cebu, and is what i always come back for. The risotto and variety of pasta choices is also worthy of commendation. Everything is freshly cooked and the taste has never disappointed me. Only problem when you dine in a big group is that they only take Cash as mode of payment.
Dining at Giuseppe was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Staff were friendly and were quick to answer any questions we had about the food. They wouldn't give away the secret ingredients for their spicy sauce recipe though haha. I had the spinach ravioli, special Calzone and dipping breads. All tasted great. Located near to the hotel where we stayed in Mactan.
Very good food and always nice and fast service. A bit expensive comparing to local standards, but I would recommend it for nice dinner with wine. For quick pizza lunch I would choose something cheaper. We tasted some pizzas, foccacia, carpaccio, minestrone soup, risotto, cold cuts & cheese, tuna tartar, tuna steak (we visited the place several times ;)). All really good, fresh, tasty - just how it should be. Pizzas are more American than Italian (a lot of toppings, and not very thin crust), but still good. From desserts I would recommend tiramisu (but it’s a bit heavy) and fruits. Panna cota could have more rich taste.
