Great ambiance!! Food was alright - nothing wow but still pretty good. We got the Calamares (so tender), the tuna belly, the kinilaw, the baked scallops, buko pie, as well as 3 different types of shakes/juices (mango, watermelon, buko juice)
We went at a dead ish hour though (around 3pm). Afterwards, we had difficulty getting a cab / Grab, so was forced to get a tricycle to Gaisano Malls, then a UV EXPRESS back to Cebu City!
Lantaw floating native resto is a great place to relax after a long day. We had dinner here and ordered several dishes. I recommend the scallops, gambas (very spicy) and sinigang lechon kawali...
Enjoy the sea breeze and the food in this place. You have a choice to get your "kubo" or sit indoor or outdoor (depending on the weather).
Lot of people enjoying this cozy place while dining. Despite long queue, service was fast. Food was average and very limited seafood option considering that it is a floating restaurant.
Been here twice with family and relatives. They offer various filipino tasty dish to choose from. It is recommended to dine during weekdays to avoid long queues. You can feed 15pax for a budget of 5k.
Order the pancit! It’s the bomb 💯💯💯 Other food is okay. Nothing really special. I think what you really pay for here is the ambience. It is kinda far from the city but I think it is worth it. A must visit when you fly to Cebu.

Food is very good, one of my favorite local restaurants. Ambiance is also excellent! The downside is that it is too far from Cebu City. Make sure to bring a sweater as it gets kinda cold at night.
A very good place to celebrate simple celebrations with family and friends. The staff are very smiling and have good accommodation. Its just beside 10,000 roses so the view is perfect and sea breeze adds up to the ambiance.
Yes, it's far from the city center, yet I still come here to experience dining at Lantaw.
Good food. Good ambience. Great people. And the most important - fresh air.
I will definitely return, and bring my partner for a relaxing dinner date.
This is the perfect place to eat dinner after wandering around Cebu. It’s near 10,000 roses. My sister and I love the views and the food. It’s a bit crowded when we visited, but the staffs managed to attend to our needs.
Tinolang Manok - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Buttered Chicken - ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Crispy Pata - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Calamares - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We only had a problem with the buttered chicken because it is not that cooked.
It was totally amazing in this restaurant, beautiful place and clean area. It was all native here in this restaurant. Perfect for families and friends, the foods in here was totally delicious. I love this restaurant because I've been in here.
I was and still am very impressed with the ambiance and decor of the restaurant.. I love the native style and the location.. I love the fact that its a floating native restaurant... very rustic outdoor dining with low long tables and padded sofas. I do have to give a thumbs up to the food as well... they have a traditional filipino cuisine that is quite luscious and very tasty!.. the place was fully packed when we went there... so we had to wait in line before we were able to get a table...

We went to Cordova to see the 10,000 Roses Cafe and I would say having Lantaw there is a good thing because after being disappointed with the 10000 Roses Cafe(as it looks very different from pictures, talk about expectation vs reality😂)people will definitely go there to eat. Unfortunately theres only two of us dining so we've tried few dishes only. I loved all of them its just that their grilled tuna belly needs more salt I guess?😂Overall I enjoyed our dining experience and their customer service is excellent considering the number of people dining at the restaurant.
I was here for lunch with friends who live in Cordova. The couch is a bit wide and long that I have to lean backwards if I want to have my back touch the upright part of the couch.
As for the food, it is satisfying but not the type of flavors exploding in your mouth. It is average or slightly above average. The view of Cebu City's skyline would have been spectacular if we went there for dinner. At daytime, the color of the sea is bordering muddy. Nothing much of a view.
I finished two glasses of their juice. Lami jud siya. I forgot what we ordered. Their food is good but not that much worthy to take note and plan to order again next visit.
i’ve always love the concept of a floating restaurant so i was really curious about going here. went here on a lunch time and the area was great but it could have been better to go here at night as you’ll witness how great the view is. we ordered the sizzling sisig which was just fine. i was disappointed with the buttered chicken. they only serve half portions than any other restaurants and it was just like an ordinary chicken cooked, not buttered. the pancit canton was not that appealing to me since it was overly cooked. good thing their garlic rice was awesome.

I was with my sister and Lola last December in Cebu city and this was one of the place we went to. It was a bit far from Cebu city but it was worthy. The place is just too good at night. You can see the city lights and the stars. I love how the restaurant floats and they have this vibrant family ambiance feeling. What I like in general about Cebu is their food, it’s well balance compared to other region. What I specifically like here in Lantaw is their sinigang na lechón kawali! Seriously it’s genius! Only in Cebu ❤️ plus the Buko dish was interesting too, I don’t really like Buko so it’s a 5/10 for me. All in all it’s a 9/10
Location...
The Lantaw in Cordova is a floating restaurant which makes it an interesting place to visit, most of the structure of the resto is made up of bamboo. The ambiance is one of the best, you can experience having dinner with candle light and matching sea breeze. It's a good place if you want to bring someone for a date or even just for a family gathering.
Food...
The food they served were on average, it's well seasoned and you can tell that the ingredients they are using are all fresh. In terms of the price, it's very affordable.
Service...
The service crew were very accommodating, they are well organized, and also I like how they manage to prioritized each customer.
They should have provided more seats for customers who are on queue.
its best to come here at night. a lil far from the city and the wait time is longer tha usual since theres a lot of people in que..make sure to come here when youre not that hungry. when u get a seat, expect another 30 mins or more wait time due to the number of customers. but despite waiting..place is good..food is great. price is okay.
This place is far from the city but I come here to eat because of the ambience and good food. We come here at lunch and enjoy the smell of the sea, the soft wind blowing in our faces and the taste of delicious, affordable food. I love the Chicken in Buko and Cordova express. Their servers are courteous and although sometimes it would take time for orders to be served, we don't mind because we are either taking in the view, talking or looking at our phones (since there's free wifi).
I accidentally deleted a lot of my pics but I'd be back soon so watch out for it.
Deductions:
0.5pt for the wait time
0.5pt once we ordered Lola's special bam-i. We were shocked that it wasn't dry. It was kinda like a soup-y dish. We already had soup and in the end didn't eat it.
Best time to go here is at night.. sobrang ok ang ambience and view.. the foods was good too but i didnt like their chicken bbq that much. But the butong with gata masarap.
Price-5/5
Place-5/5
Foods-4/5
Service-5/5
The place is nice as if you were in other southeast asian country and there is a nice vantage point overlooking cebu city which the layout somewhat resembles Hong Kong's central business district with mountain on its background... the foods are fresh and taste good.
It is such an excellent resto, excellent service, excellent staff, excellent food, excellent eating experience. What makes it uphold its name is the view nga ma lantaw 👍 the food were delicious, even more with the breeze 🌅 but I would recommend going before 6pm because the tides start to change and there is less breeze already. Lami kaayo ang pagkaon bai 👏👏 The star/s of my eating experience is the baked scallops, it was garlic butter but it wasnt too overpowering on the scallop, AND the halo-halo 😍😍
PS. Check the calendar and look for high tides 😀👍
The view is great, especially during sunset. The food is delicious. My top recommendations are baked scallop, baked talaba, tuna panga, crispy pata and fried bakasi or linarang na bakasi. It's more convenient to bring a car though, since it's far from the main road. And even though you bring a car, the parking is a little far from the restaurant.
Everything I ate here are so good. The talaba, I was expecting that it would taste oceany be no, the talaba is so fresh. The tinola is good. Lechon manok, grilled belly, chorizo & grilled tuna panga are the best! The Cordova cooler is too sweet that we need to ask to guve us a water. The way that the restaurant was at the sea makes it more lovely to eat. I enjoy the food & view. Downside from this is you have to bring a car. Also, this is beside the 10,000 roses & cafe which nothing special.
Very cool experience visiting a floating restaurant. It was a great place to enjoy a drink while watching the sunset. The views over the water towards Cebu were amazing. I didn't eat any of the food so I can't make any recommendations, but the plates that were ordered to other tables looked great and smelt delicious!
I was here yesterday. The view was relaxing and food tasted great. A supervisor would even ask you if it's your first time, very accomodating. I would suggest to be here around 4-6 in the afternoon to avoid the heat of the wind ad sun.
I've only been to this place once but I really like the whole set up of the restaurant. It's best to go there at night. The city lights, the sea, the cool breeze and the sight of airplanes flying over you is a perfect scenery. They also serve their food fast and the taste does not disappoint.

I always love dining here. Foods are worth the price, servings were enough & staffs were okay as well. However, its kind of hassle walking from the parking lot to the restaurant esp when you're with senior citizens or PWDs. I hope they would allow cars to park nearer like the usual parking lot before 10,000 roses was created.
FOOD
Sisig - It taste good and not very oily. For me its lacks a bit of saltiness. The serving is quite generous.
Panga - its very tasty and well cooked. It taste fresh and well seasoned.
Calamares - its soft and the breading is crunchy. Not the best calamares in cebu but it taste good.
The serving of their rice platter is quite generous.
Their food is affordable.
AMBIANCE
The place is big and has a lot of available tables. The view of the sea while eating makes eating more relaxing and comfortable. The sea breeze with a candle on a the table and adds a bit of romance while dining. The view of the sunset at the place is really beautiful.
SERVICE
We didn't have to wait long enough for the food to be serve despite of the place being full of customers. The staffs and servers are very accomodating.
five star for the ambience, it was great and very relaxing, the view is also very great, if you are looking for good view this is it. The food was another matter, I honestly think that it was a bit pricey for a small serving, the taste is good but not very remarkable or unforgettable.
Ambiance :
Cool , Very Dramatic. and Relaxing
Place :
Cannot accommodate during peak season. I think it is better if you call them first for reservation.
Food :
There's nothing more special about the menu but the important thing was, the food taste better and delectable. Also, Fruit juices are fresh and doesn't taste sugar.
Staff :
Very Accommodating and the service is quite fast.
Indeed, We wasn't disappointed.

Not that fancy. Very homemade. Nothing taste special in the food. What makes it worth visiting is the ambience.
I think they lack manpower. Dining staffs are hospitable. They just cant handle the number of customers especially dinner time.
Excellent view, but average food. Nevertheless, this is a must-visit native restaurant especially when spent with your loved ones. If you wish to dine al fresco with a breathtaking view as your backdrop, this is the place to be.
Chillin here was really worth while. Will definitely be back. Had a lot of chances to talk to people I know. And the ambiance makes it more relax. The food is cheap but definitely delicious. Thank you guys. ☺
Cool view and peaceful place. Just that the crew here are slow. Our orders took almost half an hour. The foods are not that good. Just a little bit of improvement.
One of the coolest place to dine in at Cordova. Best place to eat during dinner. Place is very cool and a lot of food to choose. Just need their crew to be fast a bit.
We loved the place and food. Since it's a floating restaurant, it gave off a chill vibe where people can relax and just talk away. We were completely sold with the location and the food of course. The prices were really affordable and the portions of the dishes were really generous. We even got to order their calamares multiple times because it was just simply so delicious.
Bonus: When someone celebrates their birthday in Lantaw (our friend did celebrate her debut here), the staff would gather around your group and would sing and dance along a birthday song to the celebrant. It was a good treat.
This Place has the Potential... Keep Pushing and Keep It Consistent! Portions are Worth the Pay... I Would Definitely Recommend Trying this Place. What's Funny is, Food is Actually Better at Cordova than the Busay Location. As what I have mentioned... Keep It Consistent!
Lantaw Restaurant is one of the most visited dining places in Cebu because of it’s delicious authentic flavors and relaxing ambiance. We enjoyed our dinner at Lantaw Floating Restauarnt. The ambience is perfect for families and friends. If you’d like a view of the sea, it is best to visit during lunch time. We spent Php 700 ($ 14-15) for our dinner including tip. This place has generous food serving, appropriate Filipino ambiance and reasonable prices. It's definitely a must visit place when you're visiting Cebu.
The first time I went here, it was already around 7PM and the place was really jam-packed. I expected that their food must be really delicious that people would really flock in. And indeed, I wasn't disappointed. I loved the idea that their drinks and fruit juices are in mason jars. Their fruit juices are really fresh, I must say. The ambiance is really nice and it would've been better if we went there by sunset. Our food was served just long enough to finally feed our hungry tummies. I am a baked scallops fan, and their's are really really good. So creamy and cheesy!
I like the ambiance of the place. the food servers are friendly too. I also ordered mango with bagoong but i was kind of disappointed bec it is ripe, But other foods that i ordered are delicious. i enjoyed my experience in lantaw. It is very nice eating with an over looking view.
My college friends and I went here to have a mini reunion since one of our friends came back from Norway. We also celebrated a friend's birthday. Though the benue was far from the main road, it was a nice dinner shared among friends who need to catch up alot of things. Their unique dining experience brought out giggles from us, with candle lamps to enlighten us as we eat on a very open space ( no ceiling, no walls). And must I say it was so dark.
We ordered Mangga with Bagoong, Spicy Scallops and Cordova Express for our appetizers. Pork Belly, Kangkong, Squid Adobo and Garlic Shrimps as main dishes. To quench us, we had their bottomless iced tea.
The mango was kinda ripe when I took a bite of it. I love their Cordova Express. What I didn't get was the taste of the Spicy Scallops which was not spicy at all.
All other foods were lovely. It was a great experience.
Their staffs were fun to work with. They offered to take our pictures. I had calle them earlier today to tell them one of us is celebrating his birthday and they sang for him.
We've met with some friends in Cebu and we were very fortunate that they brought us to Lantaw floating restaurant.
Lantaw in cebuano means 'to look out' - which was the perfect name for this restaurant. From here, you would have a panoramic view of cebu city. This is also the perfect place to see the sunset. 🌅
Food:
Pancit Canton - they have generous toppings but it was too saucy for me.
Baked Scallops - Buttered fresh scallops with melted cheese. Two thumbs up on this dish. It was sooo delicious.
Fried Eel - It was my first time to try this, It was crispy and surprisingly good.
Service was good, everyone was accommodating and polite.
I am always a fan of their cordova coolers - a cool drink mixed with orange, watermelon and calamansi is a thirst-quencher. However, I don't taste any garlic from their garlic buttered prawns. Lechon kawali's meat is more likely deep-fried with overused oil. Food servers are accommodating up to annoying since they almost always ask about the how we think about the food.
Our meal started off on the right foot. Warming and soothing, Ginataang Munggo (PhP 120) is a vegetarian dish that’s cooked with coconut milk (gata) and tender mung beans (munggo). I loved that the fragrant coconut milk was able to coat every ounce of the mung beans in its rich and thick soup. The sweet potato tops (talbos ng kamote) hit the right senses with slight bitterness that became sweet after lingering on palate for a bit.
Soft and succulent, the Baked Scallops (PhP 150) were really fresh with rich melted cheese toppings that made us swoon. It wasn’t just a plate of baked scallops; it was a plate of heaven, and I’m still thinking about it now. So good and delightfully creamy, too!
We also fell in love with Kinilaw (PhP 175), a Filipino ceviche dish consisting of cubed raw fish marinated in vinegar along with diced tomatoes and spices. A pile of white fish saturated in slightly tangy sauce stung our tongue with a citric punch, and we can’t help but appreciate the perfect texture and firmness of the fish in every bite.
I don’t think I’ll ever quite tire of the magical combination of garlic and butter. When plump shrimps are cooked with this flavorful pairing, good things happen. These Buttered Garlic Shrimps (PhP 95) tasted delicious and were almost addicting, with sweet bursts of the silky butter sauce brightened with notes of finely chopped garlic. Awesome!
It would be sad to leave Cebu without tasting one of its finest food aside from the roasted lechon (suckling pig): the Lechon Manok (PhP 250/whole). Even without sauce or gravy, the chicken’s taste was impressive as a heady blend of spices played off beautifully. The skin came out not too scorched and the meat, juicy.
Some say you can tell how good a Filipino restaurant is by how well they make lechon kawali (Filipino crispy fried pork belly). Lantaw Floating Native Restaurant’s Lechon Kawali (PhP 210) version was on par with the standard quality we expected. The deep-fried pieces were intensely crisp and crunchy on the outside and moist and tender within. If your heart belongs to Filipino food, this is your jam. Order the lechon kawali with pride! :)
Cordova is one of the most wonderful place in Cebu, rich in seafood resources, as such most of there restaurants are good at seafood and grill specially the native ones. Lantaw Cordova as I expected was very wonderful, though it will consume so much travel time from Cebu to Cordova. The ambiance very romantic as because it is very wonderful duty the night. Their best and forever will 4 seasons drink that will satisfy your thirst. There food is very sumptous you'd never easily get full for you'll be looking forward to experience there best selling baked scallops and baked kangkong. For those who don't usually eat vegetables it is not even hard for them for they also offer meat grills. The Hito is also very fresh, it doesn't taste really different at all. The place is refreshing, calm and at peace. The service is very fast! Gotta come back! Prices are of in the middle stat, not cheap, not too expensive :)
