I went here twice with my family and t'was the best experience ever. The food never disappointed us and the service was fast. Even though the staff were all busy running around to attend to every table but to our surprise they're able to serve our food swiftly and ask what else we need. Aside from that, their food is super affordable! Kudos to the staff and management. Keep it up!

I was shocked bec of their pochero!😂😁 my dad loves pochero. we ordered 2 servings thinking 1 pochero wouldn't be enough for 5 persons. When it was served, we saw 2 "kalderos" 😂👍 busog and lami. doesn't have the typical fatty taste and Oh! the prices of their food are just right.👌

This restaurant was referred to me by a friend. To be honest, I was skeptic of the location at first because I’ve never really seen it nor heard of it.
When I saw the menu, I was shocked that the prices are affordable and reasonable.

Upon entering the premises, you will see their fresh seafood and that big bicycle. There’s a cozy, homy feel to this place. The stairs are made of wood. The second floor offers a balcony view of Plaza Independencia and the sea. Romantic, isn’t it?

All of my skepticism were gone when I tasted their food. We ordered the crispy pata, garlic butter shrimp, and larang.

Gosh! The Crispy Pata we ordered is so delicious. The meat is soft and easy to cut and you can hear the cracking sound of the skin when you munch on it. All of the dishes we ordered were delicious too but their crispy pata really made an impact on my taste buds.

Like watching the sea while having lunch/dinner? You can go visit this place. The ambience felt rustic. I would say the food was good but the flavor was too salty for me, tho I loved their grilled squid, melted in my mouth and tasted fresh.

The prices have increased but not too high. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take photo of their menu with the current price. Still I am glad to share that KKD has amazing dishes affordable to eveyone who is looking for delicious Filipino viands. They already have entrance at the back for convenience of those who can't park in front of the restaurant. I have eaten in this place for like 4 times already. Highly recommended. But if you are looking for a quiet and less crowded restaurant, KKD is not for you. :)

And before you jump to conclusions, (don’t we at times? – lol) STK doesn’t mean shoot-to-kill. STK means Sugba-Tula-Kilaw – which means you can have your food prepared THREE different ways: SUGBA – GRILLED, TULA – SOUP, and KILAW – RAW. You can still order FRIED food, so don’t worry oil lovers. Read more..

If you are looking for a delicious Filipino food, KKD is a good place for you. Their price is really affordable with a very generous serving and the staff were also good. I don't like their pork sisig but I love their larang, pansit with seafood, grilled pork belly and calamari. The place is not air-conditioned but if you stay in the balcony, it would be fine. I recommend this place if you want a good and affordable food with a fine ambiance and a live band in the evening.

Had early dinner here last 2017 and I will surely come back. I love their food - cheaper than other pinoy restaurants (especially their scallops 😊) plus super worth it. I love their scallops so we ordered two platters. We barely consumed the shrimp because we were already full. I love the ambiance of the place it is very comfy. Insta worthy ambiance and food. Service is a bit slow especially if you have late / additional orders but overall experience is 5/5. Place is not very hard to find and very accessible - there is an SM My bus stop over nearby. Plus there are different jeepneys that pass by the place.

We went here for a Sunday dinner with my boyfriend and we did love the rustic feels of the place. Ambience is superb. The food is very affordable and reasonable. We ordered the garlic butter shrimp and it was very tasty! They got friendly staff and most of them keep an eye on their customers’ needs. I got 1 point off of my rating just because the grilled squid we ordered was too small for its price. Overall great experience and will definitely go back!

This is my go-to restaurant for that affordable and sumptuous lutong bahay food. Place is great for birthdays, and family gatherings. The restaurant's menu offers a wide variety of budget-friendly food, from soups, appetizers, main dish, and desserts. I keep coming back for their sinigang na baboy, rellenong talong, baked scallops, and leche flan among others. Their place is big enough, but most of the time, you have to wait for around 10-30 mins as their place is always jam-packed especially during weekends. Their live band is also a plus, making it a perfect place to chill the night away.

It's Sinulog season once again so it's time to go out, hit the streets and pay homage to the holy child. Last night, after attending mass we left the Basilica del Santo Niño tired & hungry and soon found ourselves alongside a two-story structure that looks like an old warehouse: KKD STK+BBQ.

I wondered: What is this place? Not on my radar of must-visit food spots. But we were so famished that we just decided to pop in and allow ourselves to be surprised by what they have to offer.

Once inside, I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw. Impressive, unique, eye-catching interior! An old bicycle hanging on a wall. Bamboo baskets and wooden pallets overhead resembling chandeliers. Shutterbugs will certainly enjoy snapping away in this place.

No AC? No problem. The restaurant has so much central space, an extremely high ceiling and open layout to make sure the place stays well-ventilated.

To attend to your every need, a super attentive, quick-moving crew of Men in Black are everywhere. The place was jampacked but our orders arrived in just 15 minutes.

Being hungry, we opted for something simple & quick. Hurriedly ordered several sticks of their mouthwatering Baboy Sinugba (pork BBQ), Manok Sinugba (chicken BBQ) and a plate of creamy, buttery Baked Scallops. Food so addictive that we couldn't resist asking for a second serving of rice!

KKD is situated in a less appealing, unpopular section of the city but that doesn't seem to be a downside. Business appears to be brisk and in good shape. All in all, last night's dining experience turned out to be an adventure worth exploring. Viva Pit Senyor!

I really love their Awesome customer service! Great food and they got the Perfect price! We ate in the place where they hold events and noticed that the concept of the place is mixed. One is modern, the other is native and the rest i dnt know. Their @CR NEEDS to be attended though. There wasnt any free flowing water. You had to get water and then pour it the old fashioned way to flush their toilet. Other than that, i definitely have no complaints. Really loved their customer service :)

The place was presentable, the waiters were very attentive, wifi was fast, service was faster (we got our orders in 10 mins) and the food was amazingly good for a very affordable price! Wow! We only spent P700+ and that already included 4 viands (seafood pancit, sinugbang panga, pork belly, clam soup), 3 big cups of rice, 2 softdrinks and a leche flan! There were only two of us so we had a lot of leftovers.

Below are the reasons for the deduction:

0.5 pt We ate upstairs. There were a few customers left so the waiters weren't that busy. They were just standing there next to our table, looking at us and other customers. Made me feel a bit self-conscious. My stomach was grumbling and I was ready for battle but since there were like, 7-8 men standing in front of me I had to slow down and eat like a lady.
0.5pt The viands were AWESOME and I was excited for dessert. Unfortunately, their leche flan wasn't impressive. It was too... commercialized. Add more egg yolks and do not include egg whites pls. If you can't improve the taste, lower the price. Seriously, I was a bit disappointed 'cause the dessert would've made a grand finale. Oh, well.

All in all it was a good experience and I'm definitely coming back!

I always pass by this food shoppe on my way to work but never really got that chance to eat there until my mum, dad and I had to stay in the "bigger" city and wait for the traffic jam to subside. We decided to eat there and was shocked to find out that it's very crowded for a place that isn't really very public friendly; commuter-wise. When I got to taste their food, I found out why it's packed; their food are ambrosial. With it being packed though, it's unavoidable that noises of all kind exist, that tad of part I didn't like. Anyhow, all good.

Was there with the fam for an unplanned dinner. Was worried when we arrived as it was the peak hours plus its Sunday night. They greeted us when we entered and took less than 3 mins to find a table. Though they provided us upstairs my husband wanted to be seated in their open air area.
Verdict...

PRICE:
Bang for the buck. Need not to say more.

AMBIENCE: rustic, warehouse type. High ceiling and good lightning. The air inside is hot maybe because of their cooking station and it was crowded. Though their bathroom needs some improvement.

SERVICE: food was delivered fast to our table. I was already expecting it to take 15-20mins before we can eat as it is the usual time frame. Very accommodating staff and attentive. Great customer service.

FOOD:
Crispy Pata is great and fall off the bone. You actually don't need a knife served along side with it.

Baked Scallops. I am a picky eater when it comes to scallops, really don't like that taste of "rotten seafood". They cleaned it properly a d could taste that sweetness of scallops topped with their cheesy cream.

Sizzling Sisig was fine. Ordered it with egg and it was well done which made it taste like sisiglog. Too fatty , if you put in some hot sauce it'll level up the taste. It's not that bad. This is great with near however it was my 13 yr old daughter who asked for it.

Chicken (Grilled) - just like any grilled chicken you can buy at your favorite "bbqhan".

Fresh Fruit Salad which the food presentation was cute. It was ted layered with pineapple, mango, shredded buko meat, 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream topped with cherry and orange wedges on the sides. It was almost perfect except for the cream which too light and the mangoes which was too sour that we ended asking for salt.

Their Lemonade was nothing great. I couldn't taste the presence of lemon.

Overall, it was a good Sundate/dinner for us three. We planned to be there again with the entire fam.

* Green Mango with Bagoong - I can't say no to this. This is my fave comfort food and I was amazed it's available on their menu! The mango is a lil bit sour which is perfectly paired with the bagoong or anchovies. Rate: 5/5
* Sisig: Though I like it, Chad can only judge anything but sisig flavors. He is really into it and it's his all time fave. It's to salty for him despite it has already lemon and egg on top. Rate: 3/5 (by Chad's command; The Sisig Master)
* Grilled Pork Belly: Delicious! The meat is soft and well-grilled. Nice presentation of the food. And the sauce is superb! Rate: 4/5
* Grilled Liver: Chad was the only one who ate this menu and so far he liked it! Rate: 5/5
* Buttered Garlic Shrimp: I WAS SHOCKED AND AMAZED! They have really large shrimps! I was stuffed by just nibbling all of it alone! You can really taste the butter and the garlic from the inside of the shrimp and the sauce was incredibly delicious! Nuff said. Rate: 5/5
* Lemon Ice Tea: My first sip was like.... AAAAAH!!! Srsly!? This is the first ever lemon iced tea I've ever drinked that tastes this goooood! Every sip from my glass I was like "My goodness this is so great!" Such a very refreshing drink! Perfect! Rate: 5/5
* Fresh Fruit Salad: All the fruits are fresh and delicious except for the mangoes that tastes sour. I bet they're still unripe but overall it's delightful! Rate: 4/5

Before you enter SRP you will find a familiar name that has been tagged as a hang out joint for people who wants to experience food & get drunk (similar in USC Main during the 90s to early 2000s). But now, it has evolved a bit & became a grill & bar for families & big gatherings that offer good food at an affordable price. I've tried their pancit & utan bisaya and it was good!😁 I'm planning to go back with my friends & enjoy the night with cold drinks, windy & sometimes cold atmosphere & with a live music.😄

A wonderful place to eat, drink, chill, and date. No better or more clever words to describe this must-try and this new favorite resto situated along M.J. Cuenco, Cebu City.
Familiar with SuTuKil or STK? STK stands for Sugba (grill), Tuwa (soup), Kilaw (raw). And KKD STK+BBQ has a lot more to offer, serving a variety of Filipino dishes enough to satisfy your craving appetite. Familiar names but the taste is surely not to undermine. You must try the bestselling Pochero, and the sweetened barbeque, the extra Crispy Pata and the better-than-hamonada-tasting Patatim. Or just craving for some Larang, Balbacua or some roasted Manok Bisaya? KKD got you covered!

Unless you’re a local, you’re probably scratching your head now figuring out what ‘shoot-to-kill’ means. No, President Duterte’s campaign against illegal drugs doesn’t concern this. It’s basically an abbreviation of Sugba-Tula-Kilaw, three simple methods of preparing food whether you like them grilled, incorporated into a soup dish or want them eaten raw like a salad or ceviche.

What if you prefer them cooked with more cholesterol such as deep-fried, sautéed or baked? No problem. Funny, my first sutukil experience as a kid was in Mactan Island at a food stall named No Problem, which became their automatic answer to all the requests of their English-speaking diners.

Can you cook the Lapu-Lapu fish, sweet-and-sour style? No problem. Do you have Coca Cola? No problem. Is it alright if we just took off without paying the bill? No problem.

Sure enough, upon entering KKD STK + BBQ, you’ll immediately notice their turo-turo counter and open kitchen wherein you can choose anything that’s available (as long as it’s edible) and tell the chef to cook the dish with love or you could just browse through their laminated menu and pick their affordable bestsellers which include Crispy Pata, Sinuglaw and their very own Chicharon de Cebu.

When I say affordable, this means you can treat your entire batch here after the graduation ceremony.

Out of all the dishes we were able to try out, I bet you wouldn’t be able to guess my favorite: deep-fried to golden perfection, spiced just right and stuffed with the ever elusive ground pork and other fresh ingredients with a tantalizing aroma for the price of only sixty pesos, never ever forget to order the phenomenal Rellenong Talong. Trust me, you won’t look at an eggplant the same way again.

And if ever you find yourself so full after trying out these Filipino dishes and feel the need to exercise at that exact moment, go ahead and take out that vintage red bike off the wall for a ride. Just don’t tell the management I told you so.

Went here for a lunch 🍴 it was really hot that time. But I am amazed because we were sitting outside and the place is very windy, so I was not sweating. I ordered Sinigang and backed Scallops. I asked the waiter to make the Sinigang extra sour, since I like it that way. The food didnt take too long to cook, and it was lunch time so they werent so busy at all. I was shocked that when we asked for some sauce and some water, it takes time for them to give it, in other words their waiters are a bit slow. But other than that, the food was great. And especially the baked scallops, which are big to me compared to any other restaurants. I want to come back here to taste some of their dishes and juices.

KKD STK + BBQ has a great ambiance which also serves good food. What really surprised me was that their food prices are really affordable and their food are also very tasty.

I just love the ambiance of the place, it is very cozy and their location is just in downtown Cebu which made it great! This would really be a highly recommended place to dine especially for foreign nationals and tourist visiting the area since they mostly offer Filipino cuisine and they are located beside Malacañang of Cebu and Plaza Independencia which are known tourist attractions in Cebu.

We celebrated my father's birthday at KKD last October and ordered my dad's favorites. So we had Pancit, Crispy Pata, Caldereta and Grilled Fish. It is really hard to bring my dad for dinner out since he's really very picky when it comes to taste. So far, we never heared him say something about the taste of their food.

Their Crispy Pata was really tender not suffering the crispiness of its skin. Their pancit, although typical, but is still tasty. Their Caldereta really tastes good also, it is tender and I love the sauce. Their grilled fish was also good. Overall, my personal picks would be the Caldereta and of course, the Crispy Pata.

KKD is quite a good place to chill and dine especially during dinner. It can be considered a hidden gem for some because it's far from the crowded restaurant areas.

KKD's ambiance is quite fascinating. They have rustic ambiance that features bicycles and they have an open kitchen. What I like about KKD is their affordable prices!

We had their Crispy Pata, Pancit Canton, Sinugbang Isda, and Kaldereta. My personal fave was their Kaldereta and their Crispy Pata. The Kaldereta was indeed soft and not hard to munch on and can be shared by two. The Crispy Pata was definitely the star of the night! Crispy skin and very tender and soft meat that falls off from the bones. Their Sinugbang isda wasn't to my liking. The taste was kinda not appealing but it was not bland.

I'm definitely recommending KKD for group dining!

The place is cozy and I was the only customer they had that time (It's 3PM and just having my brunch).

There's not much to choose from in their menu but they're worth it. I ordered Linarang na Tasik (it's like Sinigang na Isda but a bit spicy which is great). You have to try it once you drop by their place.

Earlier this evening, I was invited for a farewell party of a dear friend.  The location is quite accessible since I was coming from SM City Cebu. It  has a great view of the iconic  Plaza Independencia of Cebu. The bustling road adds life to the restaurant.

The resto was of high ceiling  and was was well ventilated which I adds coziness. Personally, I love the details that was adorn in the place , the usage of  fruit baskets, pots and casseroles etc adds interesting ambiance.

Food-wise, i was impressed with the generous serving as well as its taste it might not be the I have stated but was the most shocking was its price. Gosh! Your budget-limited wallet can go a long way. I am pretty sure any thrifty Juan would love this place. Recommendable dishes I tried is the Rellenong Talong and  Larang for me.

Good food and good company are basic ingredients to having a good time. That's what I had Wednesday night at KKD... I met with long time friends over unassuming food. The Kaldereta was humble in flavor which was very good; the grilled Kitong, minus the catsup, was very confident; while the Crispy Pata was restless -- I could not figure what it was full of lacking of; there was something exciting about it that was waiting to be discovered. All is well that ends well. Everything in the Menu was truthful, honest and whole, just like the kind of friends you want to keep in a lifetime.

Serving good food. That's the tagline for this Filipino restaurant. And they stay true to it. The moment you enter this place, you can immediately notice the concept that they have. From the tables made out of "tarima" (sorry, I have no idea what those are in English, all I know is that they keep products safe and sturdy during transport), and the hanging wooden thingies hehehe oh and don't forget "Sophia", that pretty little bearded lizard.
KKD STK+BBQ has a variety of dishes for you to choose from.
Now for the food. One of my favorites will always be their Crispy Pata. I could eat it every day and just die happy! It's seems very rare for a restaurant to serve fresh chicharon, and this resto makes them perfectly! It definitely goes great with a few beers or more! Try their sinuglaw, for 130 pesos it was to die for! The sinugba was succulent and pairing it with the tangigue was divine! Sour and creamy at the same time. Most of my friends would order balbacua. It's the best balbacua we have tasted! It's one of their best sellers so they almost, always run out of it. And because I love pork, Sisig is another dish we always have. You can ask them to put some mayo on top too! Linat-ang baka is my husband's favorite! The bone marrow melts together with the soup makes it another why we like it so much. The meat just falls right off the bone. Perfect!
What makes this place so good is not only the food. It's also the people behind them. The owners Miss Ria and Sir Garry were very accommodating. The staff were also very helpful and intelligible when asked about the products. Even if they have just been open for around 2 months, this is the place to be! Until our next visit! Eat and stay happy! :)

Craving for STK style food for a week, I've finally dine here with college friends. I love the whole place, the industrial feel and the resourcefulness of the whole theme.
What we had ordered were:
•Sisig- served on a sizzling plate. We added an egg to our dish. Our plate was hot but not sizzling, thus the egg was runny and undercooked. But the sisig was delicious.
•Garlic Butter Shrimps - lovely and flavorful. Nicely seasoned, but the shrimps were bordering overdoneness.
•Tinolang Isda - it was what I expected it to be, the taste was traditional.
•Sinuglaw - I was the only one consuming this dish most amongst us four. Not particularly fan of kinilaw, but I like this dish. The addition of sinugbang baboy to this fish kinilaw was nice. It was not too acidic, just right. I would love for it to be spicy though.
•Pork Belly - based on what our server told us, this dish was good for one person only, so we ordered two. Seeing it served to us, we were shocked that portions were big! The meat was not that tender that we had to ask for a knife to help us cut the pork. But flavor wise, it was good.
Their rice though! One rice could feed two people, unless you're very much hungry.
For our drinks, us girls went for their avocado shakes and the boys went for the bottomless iced tea.
They have good and affordable food and great service too. A live band to serenade you throughout your whole dining experience. This restaurant is designed for family gatherings and barkada get-togethers.

It is the perfect place for group lunches/dinners on a budget because they serve really good food and the servings are very generous. Where can you find Kinilaw na White Marlin for only P100 that's enough for two people? They also have grilled options and fresh fish/meat and decide how it will be cooked. Im really impressed by the taste, serving portions and favorable price KKD brings to the table.
It is an all-Filipino open air restaurant at downtown Cebu that's unpretentious and practical. Bring your friends and family along and try it for yourself.

As Cebuanos we ought to have good taste of looking for food - the kind of food that really deals with our hunger cravings, the big cups of rice kind of serving and the viands that suffice what our tummy wants. It was a rainy sunday afternoon, me and my brother were craving for a hot soup tinola, crispy pata that perfectly goes with the spicy soy sauce mixed with vinegar and calamansi, and we just feel the need to tucked in to a seat with a table complete with our favorite dishes!

Cravings satisfied when we found the perfect place to be at KKD STK & BBQ! A restaurant situated across Malacañang of Cebu just before you reach the entrance of South Road Properties. It opens its doors to serving Filipino good food last June 17, 2016.

What to do after a long day of visiting the historic sites of Cebu City? Food crawl! KKD STK+BBQ is situated right across Plaza Independencia and Malacanan sa Sugbo. They offer Filipino classic dishes.
I ate a lot of their homemade chicharron and I don't feel guilty at all! I followed it with a glass of Avocado shake. Their crispy pata is a recommended dish as well. I especially like their version of leche flan which has a citrus flavor plus it has mango slices as topping.
Service is fast and efficient. What sets them apart are the prices. For 2 people, you'll feast like kings for just 300php.
It's best to eat here during late afternoon or evening since they're maintaining the factory-like atmosphere of the place, meaning no A/C.
Friday and Saturday nights are reserved for acoustic nights.
