More than what I've expected. The meat is tasty and juicy. Loved that they actually serve the "katas" or the lechon juice. I specially liked the spicy variant. I wanted to come back to Cebu sooner to have this again.

I think the oversized crowd gave the servers a hard time making them a bit panicky.. But all is good! Good food, good ambiance, very homey and chill.. Not the Carcar lechon you can expect but close!

A must visit when you’re in Cebu. Would always come here for some great and tasty lechon from Carcar, but make sure to drop by during delivery times for fresh lechon. Also recommend the ginabot, crispy and generous serving. Monggo soup was good as well.

What you must order: Lechon of course 😀 kinilaw fiesta with pork and seafood, mongo soup (my comfort food) and clam soup with corn. Don't forget to add a zest of calamansi!

No visit to Cebu is ever complete without sampling (and dare I say gorging) on their lechon! And during my visit in Cebu in partnership with Citadines Cebu, we tried a new contender in the lechon playing field: House of Lechon.

Crispy skin, tender meat infused in lemongrass and a mix of aromatics make up this tasty pork belly. And on its own, the meat is flavorful and salted jist right. But it's also best enjoyed with some vinegar or their special sauce! A rare treat, especially for Cebu Lechon, the sauce is made with pork drippings that really enhance the meatiness of the dish. House of Lechon offers two options— original or spicy— but I like the original better. Worried about the heat? Don't be! The spiciness of the spicy lechon was only skin level, so anyone can handle it.

Other dishes served:
✔️ Bicol Express (₱140): the Cebuano term for Gising-gising. Features coconut milk (Gata) and beans with a mild spiciness from green chili.
✔️ Garlic Squid Ball (₱140): fried balls cooked in garlic and margarine
✔️ Ngohiong (₱100): deep-fried rolls filled with heart of palm, meat and veggies.
✔️  Baked Scallops (₱220): little bites of scallops cooked in margarine and cheese. Very buttery and creamy!
✔️ Ice Candy: a blast from the past! These cold popsicles come in creamy mango, buko or tsokolate (chocolate tablea).

By the way, their rice is served in these little pots made to look like the traditional cookware of Filipinos. How cute is that? 🥰

Loved their lechon! Tried other Cebuano brands but theirs is the best. The lechon had the right amount of fat and flavor. The crab in gata was likewise yummy and verrrrry umami. The serving was kinda slow though, perhaps because of the weekend crowd. But still, this resto is a must visit for your dose of lechon

We were talking with our rider and he mentioned, he prefers House of Lechon over Rico's Lechon as it's not as salty. And well he was right, our Lechon was perfectly tender with skin crispy (and not as salty as others I have tried). They were using birds eye chilli as a condiment which as perfect for us.

My friend who was in PH last time and I took her to Manam but, was let down by their Sisig. I insisted her to try again this time and she loved it.

However, there can be an improvement for the service, as we had to check multiple time for our extra rice order.

Place is spacious, you will definitely get a seat without much wait time. You can choose between the al fresco area or air-conditioned space.

We ordered the Original Carcar Lechon. Tasty and good with the fried rice. Ngohiong was good. Just ask for regular vinegar as it comes with a spicy one.

Gising gising is ok as well as the baked scallops.

I think this is one of the best-tasting lechon in the Philippines. This is always the best choice when bringing my friends from other countries because we cannot find a decent lechon in Manila. The lechon in this spot is tasty enough to be remembered, even their desserts are worth a try.

One of my favorite lechon houses in Cebu, next to Rico's. The lechon and their other Filipino classic dishes are really good and the ambiance is very classy, very modern. If you have guests from out of town and you want them to try a good Cebu restaurant in an atmosphere that's classy yet casual with a price point that's affordable, this is definitely the place to go. Try to reserve though because they are always full and the waiting can take long!

I really enjoyed my visit here. Love the ambiance as the colors looks fresh to the eyes.

We ordered Original Carcar Lechon, Original Spicy Lechon, Pinakbet, Kinilaw Fiesta Cebuana for lunch.

The Lechons are really tasty, well-cooked, and isn't salty at all. The foods are really fresh and are not bland.

Love the plasticless environment. The mini kalderos are really cute as well.

The Lechon is absolutely delicious. The oreo mango float has a bit weird grainy texture but sure is YUM. The ambiance is amazing. I only suggest the crew/hosts/waiters to stop blocking the way of customers. I was blocked going to CR and also when we're going out.

I can't leave Cebu without trying and eating the famous Cebu lechon. And this is one of the best in town! I love how delicious it taste that goes well with their special vinegar, not the ordinary and common gravy we know. They serve the rice in mini kaldero per cup and bigger kaldero for sharing. I didn't get the chance to take a pic because we ate as soon as they served the rice. Mixed vegetables in oyster sauce is also tasty.
Service is slow but everyone smiles when they're serving.

Favorite lechon place in Cebu! Service is very good- they serve your food within 15-20 minutes. There are just times wherein there are a lot of people and they run out off lechon, make sure to visit early! Faves: chicken skin, spicy lechon, and chicharong bulaklak

Truly the best lechon in Cebu! We had lunch there as soon as we arrived, the staff there is very approachable and attentive to every request we made. They made sure we have anything we need tho we’ve waited for 30 mins for the lechon to came but worth the wait. The skin is sooo crispy i really love it, we orderd calamari and original lechon and sisig too. We did not regret coming to this place. Expectations were met. Good job! Definitely will come back to Cebu and eat in one of your restaurants again.

I’ve been going to Cebu for years but this is the first time I’ve dined here. I’ll give it a 👍🏼👍🏼. Lechon is delicious (of course), the 3/4 Kg is just right for the 5 of us. We also tried the Pritchon, fried with Banana Blossoms. Very good, even as a viand with rice. The Baked Scallops were very cheesy. I loved the Gising-gising na Kangkong, which is cooked way different than how it is in Manila. The Squid Adobo was very fresh, and cooked just right. Squid was not gummy. Rice is served in Kaldero, as in the photo. They serve a Big Kaldero (good for 4-5), and Small Kaldero (like 2 rice servings in a fast food resto). It was a weekday when we dined, and the resto is in a residential neighborhood, so we were surprised that it was full. Come early or a little after lunch so you don’t have to wait for a table.

One of the hype in my trip to Cebu is their Lechon, which is proclaimed by many, both lechon lovers and the so-so, to be THE Best.

House of Lechon was the most recommended among the locals I've asked (and I've asked around 5 folks there, not related to each other). Plus this was a destination on our City tour.

This place serves a whole lot of variety of dishes but I came here for lechon and so I ordered 1/4 kilo of classic and 1/4 kilo of spicy and a whole kaldero of rice. Take note, this is for 2 people (I was hungry, I can't stress that enough 😶 ). The classic was amazingly tender and oozing with flavor and the skin was crisp to perfection. Other lechons wouldn't have much flavor on the meat part but this proved to be a on a whole other level. And the spicy, be careful because it can burn your taste buds if underestimated. I zoomed in to find that the chili spices seemed to be massaged into the meat itself. The savory spicy combination was a Kobe-Shaq Alley-oop! I was sweating and eating and eating and sweating from the heat of the spices. The 1/4th kilo can serve 2-3 persons, and believe me you can finish the Kaldero of rice with just that! Especially with the spicy!

My suggestion:
Order 1/4 to share up to 3 persons and get a kaldero of rice (The small kaldero or 1 cup doesn't seem worth it for 40 pesos). I can't really suggest anything else since I didn't try anything else, please let me know what you recommend since I will definitely be coming back here.

Overall:
Classic 9/10 (flavor just stands out among other roast pigs)
Spicy 9/10 (but don't underestimate the spiciness!)

House of lechon is my current favourite lechon house in Cebu as of this year. I was surprised that their lechon was this tasty and delish! Most of all the idea of making the juice of their lechon as the sauce was brilliant! Deadly but brilliant! Hahaha order their prichon too!

The ambiance of this resto for this branch was very beautiful. Native modern design with nice furnitures and pretty colour scheme that is very warm in our eyes. This branch is really huge too! They have 3 different areas to choose from if your gonna dine-in here. Perfect for hanging out with your family or friends.

Their service was superb! Honestly, I am WOWed how great their service was. They are very friendly and accommodating. Hope they will put a franchise in Manila.

Since I moved in Cebu for 5 months now. This is actually my second visit to this place. I just love everything about their food. A bit chaos and I guess it’s really like the best place to dine in if your new to the city or tourist. I love the authentic taste of all those dishes. But a bit pricey I guess. But it’s worth it. I just have a little concern of they served the single rice for one and so on. We ordered one single rice (70 pesos) and it really shocked me how it’s like one cup inside a small kettle. So? Out of my curiosity I call the waiter(I don’t want to be rude, well.. as a customer you have all the rights to know what’s going on) so I told him? So is this your 40 peso kettle of rice which is good for one? He said no. The single one is smaller than that which is 40 pesos. So I was like oooows! Really ? Okay! Okay. 😂 I recommend you to order a platter of rice instead of this single whatever thing they have. Mango shake was on point. I love mango! So much. That’s why I’m moving in Cebu 😂 Will be back again for sure.

One of most visited restaurants for their lechon in cebu, so make sure you have a reservation before you come here or bring enough patience to wait in line. Your waiting will be worth the wait once you start your meal. Their lechon is crispy, tender and flavorful enough that you'll want to forget your diet. Rice is served in cute little pots that makes it retain its temperature. I was able to enjoy my food despite the bustling crew and crowd. Everything was reasonably priced and worth it. Make sure you drop by when in cebu.

Everything we ordered was good! Their pansit was probably the best I’ve had so far. Of course the lechon is a given. No Mang tomas required. 😁 thr baked scallops in cheese and butter and garlic - oh yes. And their sinigang was so sour but so good, too! We tried their iced candy and the broken glass which was made of sweetened cream and gelain and fruits. Just ok but the presentation is nice. The waiters were all courteous and prompt. All in all, It’s a five star rating for me.

I asked our grab driver for the best lechon place here at cebu and he told me to try House of Lechon, & so i did. Grabe ang sarap ng lechon nila, di na talaga need ng sauce. You can also try the spicy lechon, but we tried the original one.

The place is also very nice and their wash area is so cute cos it's actually made from bamboo ☺️☺️

One of the best lechon I’ve tasted in Cebu. Their serving is generous and you wont find big bones in your serving, most of the time we couldn’t finish the serving because there’s really a lot of meat there. Their other dishes are good too, so don’t just order lechon when going there. Can get crowded on rush hours so better be 30 minutes early to get a good seat. There are a lot of parking space too so you don’t need to worry if you’ll run out of parking.

My favorite Filipino restaurant in Cebu! The superb lechon is already a given, since this restaurant serves mouthwatering Carcar lechon. Aside from their lechon though, their other dishes are absolutely to die for. My personal favorites are their baked scallops, cheese sticks, canton guisado, hinumba na lechon, and lechon sisig. Apart from the best Filipino food there is, the ambience of the restaurant is also very relaxing since the interior design gives off a beach vibe.

Among all the lechon houses in the Sugbo, this is one of the bests that I can always recommend to my friends. Their lechon is originally from Carcar and I can attest to that since I’ve tasted Carcar lechons several times already (on family occasions). Hehe Aside from the pa-sosyal and ka artehan sa dining set, They have a fast service and a very tidy ambiance too 💕 But anyway, it’s all for the Lechon thou. They got the best sauce in town!!

We visited Cebu and tried this restaurant since it has a very high rating on all known restos that serves Lechon.

Well.. it exceeded my expectation.

Lechon was great especially the spicy one. We tried both. Worth the price.

Super enjoyed sabaw ng mais og kinhason (not sure if I got the right name but I’m sure for the first 3 words. Sorry) and its fresh I assure you. The soup is really delish.

Ambiance is really good, we decided to seat outside and its nice. The place is clean and you can see them chopping the lechon through the glass kitchen (😛) right before you enter the restaurant.

I love the way the staff says “see you again tomorrow” hahaha when customer/s leave.

When my friends and I visited Cebu, House of Lechon was the number one restaurant on my list. It was recommended by another friend who had been to Cebu quite a number of times. I had such high hopes for their lechon that I ended up slightly disappointed.

The place looks great-- it was bustling with people! Looks clean and well-maintained. Staff were attentive and service was fast as well. We had the lechon carcar and classic spicy lechon. The spicy one tasted so much better because of the added kick. The baked scallops and the grilled tuna belly were great. They only have a few desserts and they weren't that good. I tried the Broken Glass and Oreo Mango Float and I wasn't impressed. I suggest getting dessert somewhere else.

I doubt many people come to Cebu without dropping by House of Lechon. I guess it is Cebu's version of Manila's Barrio Fiesta (but better!).

Upon entering, cheerful staff will greet you and guide you to the table. They were trained well as they also know enough to leave you alone to give you time to decide from the menu selection.

The decors are very colorful but still cool, very inviting. Temperature inside was just right and they had enough amenities for diners (clean restroom, a place for pictures, outdoor dining area, a bar).

Of course, it all boils down to the lechon. Flavor-wise, very good. Price point also a plus (around 500-600 a kilo). Lechon was flavorful and served in wooden pig shaped platters. We preferred the special lechon (classic flavor), skin was very very crisp and meat was very juicy. The spicy version tasted like day old lechon (and on fact spoiled easily upon returning home).

The drinks are a bit on the sweet side, so maybe stick to water when you dine here.

As the place filled up, service waned. We had to request to be billed out twice, and asked four different wait staff to pack up our takeaway food before it got done.

All in all a worthy stop and a good visit, just needs consistency in service.

Good food and offering a fast and friendly service, House of Lechon is surely a very good place to stop and have lunch. Cebu is not only famous for its beaches and historical places but also the house for roasted suckling pigs. This restaurant will offers very tasty porky dishes, in case you're not in the mood for pork meat dishes, a wide array of vegetables and seafood dishes are available to delight your tastebuds.

The food, service and atmosphere is fantastic!! Wonderful place both for lunch and full dinner! Don't ever miss the mixed vegetables and seafoods either.

Just a few meters away from our hotel, I knew I had to try this!

Carcar Special - yum! 1/2kg would be enough for 3 *hungry* people. I'm not a lechon person so I can't compare it to any lechon I've eaten but I loved how the skin was so crispy and the meat was tender it melts easily in your mouth. Also, I can assure you you don't need sauce with this.

Ngohiong - this is like Manila's lumpiang ubod with a twist. Nothing special about it but it's definitely yummy. I'll order this again when I come back.

Kinilaw na Tangigue - at 180php, serving size can be small but the taste was legit. "Mapaparice ka sa sarap".

We went there for lunch and at 11am, it was kind of packed already so make sure you get a reservation or come in earlier. Interiors were nice and homey. Servers were quick on their toes.

I'd say I'll come back but there are a lot of lechon houses in Cebu. But this is highly recommended.

The presentation of the lechon was good.
Other food in the menu are just ok.
And has a wide and nice comfortable ambience good for lunch/dinner with the family.

The ambiance is good. The servers are well-trained because they greet and accommodate the guests well. Since Cebu is known for lechon, I can only say that their lechon is okay. When I tasted their lechon, it was somehow dry. I guess they should modify it to make it more inviting.

Absolutely one of the BEST lechon in Cebu. No need to dip in a sauce. :)
Their dugo2x, bam-e, scallops and mix veggies are also good.
Good space outside and inside, but their parking space is a bit small.
