It was Father's Day and the place was full but the staff were courteous and very efficient! The fiesta seafood platter was excellent. However the shakes were a little disappointing. I think the resto uses ordinary juice concentrate instead of fresh fruit. If they used fresh fruit, then the finished product was a little off. Over-all loved the place and the food. Thumbs up for the service.

Location is not convenient if you don't have a car but no worries this place has a wide parking. The ocean view is spectacular. I highly recommend dining at night as the view is so romantic with candles on the table. The shore is right next to the restaurant edge. at first i thought that this restaurant is very expensive but turns out i was wrong! they serve a lot of servings and the view was spectacular! a view of the lawis ledge also adds the experience of the place! the best part of the restaurant is that it’s not the expensive at all. more like a med range dine for a quality view!
Been here so many times and I still enjoy their food as it was the first time I visited. For those people looking for a good view and good Filipino cuisine, Parilya is a good place to dine. The interiors are also nice and they can accommodate a lot of people. I would suggest to stay outside and enjoy the good view whilst eating especially when you visit during the day time.

Food is good. Nothing special. Service is okay. Staff are accommodating & friendly, but a bit slow. We were on the wait list when we arrived but we noticed there were available tables (not reserved) and yet it took them so long to get us seated. So make sure to book a reservation if you plan to dine here unless you're willing to wait 30-40 minutes for a table. Good thing the view was nice so we managed to entertaine ourselves by strolling around & taking pictures while waiting.

Food's great! Crabmeat salad had a good balance of the crabmeat taste and some tangy and sweet notes. Akel's halang manok soup had very tender chicken meat and a good play of savory, spicy and coconut-milky profile.
I love their all-grilled plate set and their Mango Otap dessert. Eating while relaxing could be enjoyed in this upscale Filipino resto in SRP. I will be back for more desserts and grilled viands!
When we arrived in the place, we had to wait for almost 30 minutes since the place was full. It is better to make a reservation before going since many people is dining here especially on weekends.
The place really looks great and elegant. It was dinner when we got there and the place really looks great, especially their candle-lit tables. I love the minimalistic interiors. You can also see the picturesque view of the sea. There was also a light show in the later evening.
Their staff were quick and attentive as well. They are friendly as well.
Their foods were quite pricey but they are worth the price. Though there was nothing special about their servings but it was still good! Truly recommendable!

We went here on a stormy saturday afternoon the place was really breathtaking and literally hair-raising.. when the storm is about to start the crew get so bz transferring the tables and chairs..Food was good but i only have 1 negative comment, when we order our dessert automatically they served it they should have thought , that it will melt coz definitely we will consume first the foods and later the dessert.Lastly bravo to the staff.

This is definitely one of my favourite restaurants here in Cebu. Not only is the view here breathtaking especially during the day. The place is good for taking pictures for your social media accounts.
The food here is worth its price. It’s not expensive, but it isn’t cheap either. Good thing about it is you definitely get what you’re paying for. I’d rate their food a 10 out of 10.
Their customer service is pretty good even when the place starts getting filled with hungry customers. Their staffs are very attentive.

their seafood is fresh and very delectable. don’t be surprised if it’s a bit bland, you can make your own sauce with soy sauce, vinegar and calamansi as a condiment and adjust it to your taste. we ordered a platter which includes squid, crabs and shrimp which can be good for 3-4 people depending on their appetite 😂 we also ordered their baked scallops which is divine 👌🏼 aside from seafood, they have pork, beef etc. their rice is portioned into cups and is wrapped around a banana leaf which adds to its fragrance. they don’t serve it in platter portions for this sole reason. their price is affordable for fresh seafood and ambiance which is by the sea. you can ask to be seated outside and feel the breeze. this was the second time we ate there and their food is excellent. 😉

The food was excellent, the view is perfect, the place is amazing, and even the staffs were approachable and very friendly. What would i ask for more? It was built perfectly not only for two people but for more. Best to go around 5pm and beyond to really feel the air from the beach.

If you go to Parilya, I would suggest that you make a reservation since the place is getting more and more popular to many. The place is not as romantic as I thought it would be based on the reviews I have read. Nevertheless it’s still perfect for dinner dates and family dinner. The ambience is soothing and quite private which I like the most. Their food is tasty but average for me. I recommend their Parilya shrimps and Tuna panga. Both are flavorful, not to mention they are affordable. The serving was actually good enough for two people. Overall, it’s a great experience. We had an awesome time there during our anniversary.
I went there with my fam, and actually they serve good food only to find out they are sister resto with cafe laguna! (No wonder) Love the chorizo de cebu! The ambiance is nice, u can choose to stay inside with airconditioned room or outside and smell the sea breeze. Great job Parilya! Will recommend 💘
Food is nice with reasonable price. Great for large group dining. Ambience is a plus. Not too appealing to those who just commute since it is located in SRP but there is a taxi waiting area though or might just have grab or Uber ready on hand.

I though I'll never see good 'Hygrorestos' (short for restaurants near waterways) here in Cebu. Like Sydney's Darling Harbour and Melbourne's Southbank, Cebu can potentially have these sorts of restaurants.
For the food, fusion of Visayan with a touch of the chef's twist makes some of the dishes unique; whilst some of the traditional local taste are not lost. Best time to come is before dark, enjoy the beer selection and view. When in Cebu be at Parilya before dark.

Ambiance was good, but service was kinda slow. We had to remind the waiter to follow up our order. Our soup was cancelled because they forgot to serve it in our table. But overall their food tastes good!
A great place to unwind and enjoy the lovely ocean view. We chose to sit next to the window to enjoy the view as it was too warm to go outside. Service was a little slow as food took some time to arrive and we have to waved down the staff to get their attention. The clam soup and chorizo was the stand out as they were flavourful. The other dishes was nice however aside from the presentation the taste is quite average.

Food was great. Special Lechon was alright. Nothing special. The skin was really crispy but it tasted like chicharon, even looked like it. The meat was soft which is really good but it wasn't flavorful, it wasn't bland either. We were served with more fat than the meat itself but then again we may have been unlucky that night. The pancit canton though was really good! Two thumbs up from me! 👍👍 Baked scallops were very soft and wasn't chewy at all. It was more on the butter side rather than on the garlic side, just a little heads up for those who prefer it with a more garlic taste. Nonetheless, it was still delicious. Crispy kangkong was very crispy and delicious! I recommend having that as your starter while waiting for your dish. Crabs and shrimps were very fresh and juicy. Mussels were bland.
Service was great, staffs were very attentive. Although I'd appreciate if they wouldn't stare at us the whole time we were eating, it was a bit uncomfortable for two staffs to watch us eat. Price wise, it was expensive but considering the fact we ordered the seafood platter it wouldn't have rocketed to 3k pesos. I'd still recommend you bring in extra cash though, just in case.

Ambiance is great. And place is really clean. Came here to celebrate my birthday with my family and they have great service. Was surprised when they suddenly suprised me with a birthday song (not sure if anyone from my family informed them).
We personally love their pancit bihon. The rest of the food is ok nothing exceptional.
The only setback is accessibilty, No PUJs and taxis are difficult to hail especially during dinner time. Better bring your car or use GRAB/UBER.
Last time I went here was last year with my family, si I don't know how much has changed. A nice place with a nice view, great for unwinding and bonding with family and friends. The food was good too! Particularly liked the tuna panga we ordered. They also prepared a birthday surprise for my dad even though we didn't inform them. How did they know? Perhaps they listened in on us? Haha. But it was a satisfying meal and experience.

Parilya is located near SRP and overlooking the Cebu Strait and Cordova. The service is good however the place is damn hot. Now, the food is just ok, not so good and not so bad. Just an average restaurant.

Parilya is in Il Corso, South Road Properties. This is accessible via taxi/cab or private car.
If you're thinking about filipino food with a modern kick, then Parilya's your bet. The food is above average and the service as well. My personal tip going there would be, "Dont sit outside". The flies there would make you lose your appetite.

Well, about their dishes. They serve authentic Filipino food. I like their Lechon. Very crispy and different from other lechon I tried.
Just today my friend invited me to go here because there's a live band and a dinner buffet. We really enjoyed a lot and the place really is cool. The food is great and they serve Filipino foods which tastes really good. What I like the most is their place is very soothing and relaxing.

Their food is affordable, and tastes good.. especially the pork barbecue. But the halaan soup wasn't that much - compared to other restaurants that serve the same. Their calamari serving was a bit small, even for 1 person (well I do eat a lot 😅). The place was somewhat quiet, a good place for conversations and hanging out if you want somewhere open with a sea view.
This place is almost perfect for me. The view where you can really see how big the sea is. The food is good. The crew's are also good. Very generous. One concern is that, it's really hard to find this restaurant especially new comers. We can't even see any banner sign on the high-way. Il Corso should've done something about this.

The price was reasonable. I might come back but probably i'll try another dish.

My first time here, I would say I enjoyed my stay and it was exciting to try out their food. The place is clean, spacious, and the service is great. Since it was just me and my boyfriend that time, we had three food options in mind which was their famous and delicious Parilya Shrimps, Chicken Bbq, Calamares, and Binalot rice. The bbq and calamares weren't that satisfying. We were able to finish it all but the shrimps were so outstanding we wished we had three orders of it instead of having the bbq and the calamares. I had the mango shake which was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. What I love about their service water is it's very clean and it doesn't taste bad not even a bit. They even add a piece of lemon inside the pitcher. If I were to come back, I think I'd go more for their seafood menu. It's definitely a great place for a family lunch or dinner.
When it comes to Filipino food, the laguna garden group is an authority. Their restaurant concept at IL Corso called Parilya boasts of Filipino dishes that can wow Filipinos especially the balikbayans. Parilya is a good place to go for Filipino specialties in the southern part of metro cebu. They serve lechon belly place at this place and many grilled specialties. Some laguna garden favorites like fresh lumpia and kare-kare are also sold here.
Had dinner here the other night. There were a lot of people since it was a Saturday but that didn't bother us. We liked the relaxed feel of the place. We stayed inside because all the tables outside were reserved. The food was good. We ordered the baked scallops and my 8 year old daughter made it her main course. She loved it a lot. We also had crispy tadyang, chicken barbecue and chili crabs. Everything was good except for the chili crabs. The flavor was not what I expected. It also didn't taste fresh; like it was thawed out. The staff was great. They were attentive, good mannered and service was quite fast. Their restrooms were also clean. We will be coming back and next time we will have a reservation.
Parilya is also owned by Cafe Laguna standing beside Lantaw. Talking about ambience parilya was able to pull out a chill and breezy aura that has the looks of a luxurious restaurant by the sea with a tolerable price or shall we say the usual price for the type of food their serving. They served Native Filipino foods range is about 150-500+ the usual pricing. If I'm near the SRP area and I'm craving for crispy para and etc. I'd definitely go here for it.
I've visited the place twice already (day & night). I guess I would appreciate the view and the ambiance during the daylight. The food is great and very affordable. If you're looking for a place by the sea and that's accessible from the city, this, I would say, is the perfect choice!
My boyf and I had our monthsary dinner here and I thought we'd pay more than what we were expecting but no. Although the food is a bit pricey, you'll never leave the restaurant empty stomach. It only cost us 800php for 2 combo meals, baked scallops, calamares, mango shake and buko juice. I didn't finish the food I ordered so we had to take it home and the next morning, the lechon's skin is still crunchy.. Plus points to the ambiance and according to my boyf, their toilet is also nice. 😸 👍🏻👌🏻 Will be coming back for more :)
