The ambience of this place is gorgeous. They have the best cocktails I've ever tasted in Cebu City. They even can create a drink especially for you if you just want to be surprised. The bar chefs are so knowledgeable. The food is "farm to table", so you know the food is fresh. Most food I had were so delicious. From Tomahawk Pork Chop to the Rib Eye Steak, I can't get enough. It's a must-try place when you visit Cebu!
Had the best lamb shank ever Everyother place I had the lamb it's been dry and tasteless Thank you big time to the kitchen staff for the most tender juicy piece of lamb ever
Our food came in a timely manner.it all tasted good.the lights and seats were perfect and the music was the cherry on top. Would definitely recommend this place and will come back for more.

Delicious and very flavorful dishes, attentive service and a wonderful ambiance sums up this review.
I've been told about this place for some time now and I finally got the chance to go there myself. I find the combination of deli, restaurant and bar to have a unique and charming character to it. I could not help but take a photo of the entire restaurant so I can just relive part of the experience. The quote on the bar wall is also a good quirk to make a customer smile.
The service people were attentive and were very warm in receiving, sitting and serving us our meals. I had to leave earlier than my party and yet the goodbye warmth was consistent with the welcome.
The draft beer was excellent. I could even say the description of the beer on the menu was spot on. It was an excellent beer for a warm yet delightful afternoon. It accompanied my meals amazingly. My family and I tried different dishes. We tried two of your salads and it was definitely a good way to start the meal. Among the other things we ordered were the ribs, Angus bolognese, fish and chips and pancit among others. The fish and chips were excellently fried. The texture and the flavors go so well.
The ambiance, including important restaurant features like washing areas and bathrooms, were excellent. Everything was clean and pleasing to the senses. The chairs were comfortable and your menus are simple yet the metal clipboard adds a touch of elegance. The clipboards were surprisingly heavy but hey, why complain when the food described are worth it?
The prices are a bit pricey for me but that's on me. That just means I have to save more money for another shot at an Ampersand experience.
I will definitely come back when I can.
Cozy place to dine and wine.. Highly recommended when in the Queen City of the South
the food is yummy! i will recommend this place to everyone😊😊❤️❤️
The angus steak taste really good and i suggest you finish it with their own version of brazo de mercedez which really taste great!:-)

I love the ambiance.. And its food. Good place to chill
Food is awesome. Their seafood curry and chicken curry has a nice flavor. Giving it a 4 because we have to wait 30mins for the salad. They took 1 of the orders incorrectly so we have to wait few mins for the correct one. Guessing their service during dinner is better than lunch time
beautiful place.. good ambiance.. the staff are friendly and accomodating.. they have musicians who play nicely.. and most of all they have fun social dancing during tuesdays and thursdays.. 😊😘
Good choice for the band, the staff is also friendly. They have good food, tried their pizza and wings. It's a nice place to drink and talk with friends.
If you like listening to live band this place is one of the good place to go. This Restobar has a very nice feel. Very good interiors, with air conditioned restrooms. Pizza was good, but I’m not sure with the wooden chopping board dish. I hope they cleaned this thoroughly as bacteria can grow from the cuts and scuffs. Overall this place is hip.
Brought my Italian boss here for dinner.
Meat and salmon plates came just as we ordered.
Ended with each getting a slice of cake.
That was one good cake.
Came out with my shirt smelling like charred meat. 😃😃😃
In the dictionary, Ampersand means a character typically and standing for the word. True enough this resto bar has its own unique character. I have to admit the name of the place made me curious of what this place has to offer.
I am not a salad person but their Nicois for the Rodman is something to die for. I must not forget that their Leche Flan was so good too. Their service is good, nothing to complain about. There was a band playing that plays my genre and which gave a weekend vibe, and I love it! Everything in this place makes me come back for more.
Must say they have and make the best cocktails in town! For a cocktail enthusiast like me, finding a place like this in Cebu made my trip complete. Bartenders behind the bar are very friendly and passionate about their drinks! It’s a must visit bar in Cebu.
Food: Couldnt go wrong with any menu item here, I had the chicken karaage, fish and chips, and the pizza(forgot the flavor) and it was nice. Each dish has its own personality.
Cocktails: The best in Cebu hands down. The bartenders Fred and Earl are very accomodating, friendly, and they make you some of the best you will ever have. They also have on the spot cocktails, which will blow your mind away.👌
Ambiance: Nice and Cozy
Service: They serve well and fast. Accomodating staff too.
The name of the restaurant sounds unique even though it's a common word.
Their dishes have seemingly extravagant presentations. Taste-wise, some dishes were impressive.
The brown wooden ambiance gives that rustic vibes. I love open kitchens 'cause you see the action happening in the kitchen and you definitely can attest the utterly transparent food preparation, meaning, what you will be eating are clean, safe and delicious foods.
Came here with friends to drink only. Then we also ordered 1 whole pizza to match it with our beer. Although it is expensive though, your money is worth it because of the super good food, and the friendly staffs. The place is fancy, I never thought they’d let us transfer inside because we only ordered beer and pizza, but they still said yes.
I love the texture of the tagliatelle the smoothness of the cream and the generosity of meat on my pasta. The vibes were chill. I appreciate that there was a candle on our table so it set a romantic kind of vibe even if I was with my girl friend. The band was even nice. Their bathroom was clean. The inside of the restaurant looked really fancy along with the waiters who were so nice. Overall I would recommend this place.
Will always be one of favorite places in the city :) the interior of the place is so pretty, they also have a band playing every night.. so if you're planning to take someone for a nice intimate dinner then this is the place :)) food is excellent.. their prime rib eye is one of the best i've tasted and it even comes with 2 side dishes and i always pair this with their mushroom truffle risotto :) yum yum!
Here are a few dishes I was able to try out:
BBQ Pulled Pork & Pineapple: Oh pulled pork, why haven’t we met sooner? Never mind it looking like Argentina Extra Long Shreds, this flat bread bad boy will transport you to the Wild West.
Chicken Curry Marinara: Teleport to India successful with this Filipino-friendly curry pasta. Is it just me or are those droplets just adorable?
Chocolate Custard Brazo de Mercedes: If eating this were a sin, you can all find me in hell.
Chorizo Risotto Nero: Don’t forget to smile at your date after eating this risotto.
Crab & Artichoke Arancini: Definitely the best pair of balls you’ll ever taste in Banilad area.
Gravlax: Such a cool name for a salmon-topped flat bread with a unique yet addictive taste, reminds me of the pokemon named Snorlax which I believe is irrelevant to this article.
Green Tea Yoghurt Cheesecake: Drooling and still questioning if everything on it is indeed edible, you can never go wrong with this type of dessert unless you’re lactose intolerant.
Kinilaw: This is not a cake. From this moment forward, this is how I’m gonna make my ceviche.
Leche Flan Trinity: You can’t help but worship this triple threat of Classic, Almond and Strawberry fluffy goodness.
Roasted Chicken: Skip this if you wouldn’t want to question your loyalty with Chooks To Go or Sr. Pedro.
Sizzling Balut: Transform an exotic Filipino street food into something inviting and world-class? Say no more.
Slab of Bacon in Ampersand Green Chili BBQ and Spicy Beer Honey Sauce: You had me at bacon.
Slow Braised Lamb Shank: Not a big fan of lamb yet they were able to convince me to eat it otherwise. On an unrelated note, the crispy potato strips on top remind me of the junkfood Pic-Nic.
Smoked Baby Back Ribs: Fall-of-the-bone? Check. Epic presentation? Check. Flavor? Check.
The Duterte: I guess the majority of the Filipino voting population would probably drink this.
Truffle Scented Mushroom Cappuccino Soup: This may look unappealing but give it a try.

Good food, great ambiance with a rustic feel. Tried their baby back ribs, chicken wing, pasta carbonara and seafood pasta. Wide array of drinks to boot!
At first i was hesitant to try their food but thanks to my friends for telling me to try it here. We ordered ampersand pork chop, ribs and beef salpicao. Very good choice of viands! Each has its own distinct flavor and i am very impressed. Plus points is the menu for the kids which is very helpful for my daughter. Ambiance is so so good and definitely worth the price!
Great place to dine, go on a date, or chill with friends.
The ambiance is as satisfactory as the food that they serve.
Aside from their great menu, also recommended are their Antipasto set of cured meats and cheese, paired with some good wine.
Their Artisanal draft beers are also a must-try.
The year ended with a bang for the Cebu Bloggers Society as Ampersand hosted the group’s year-end thanksgiving party. Ampersand is a casual dining restaurant concept serving the highest quality dishes inspired by cuisines from around the globe. It began in 2014 with a simple concept, to serve the finest fresh food and offer the best array of drinks to Cebuanos. Ampersand offers the world’s favorite dishes, sandwiches, salads and soups. Accompanied with a wide selection of drinks and cocktail mixes.
In the past, Cebuanos prefer new flavors and culinary experiences every once in a while. But ultimately, they all go back to the flavors that they are familiar and comfortable with. In recent years, however, Cebuanos have become more and more adventurous when it comes to their dining and food choices. While they still generally prefer the all-time favorites, they are now much bolder in giving new gastronomic feasts a try.

😂 I'm laughing bec I need to be serious in my review but when I remember silly things that happened in the place, I can't focus any longer. Hahaha Anyway, I won't detail my experience in this restobar. They took away my heartache, they eased the pain, they made the night so much better (Oh ayan na. Clues na yan 😂😂) pero srsly, I can just sit there and listen to the Acoustic Live Band and have a drink with friends plus a cool environment. That night was raining, so I assumed it's really cool. Ha!
This place is best to go when you feel alone (not through talking w strangers there or whatnot ha. I'm just saying it made my night better that time bec we all have relationship arguments, and all..
But we also have different perspectives of 'fun'. But I'm willing to hear what you think about the place. 💜
To more nights of good drinks,🍸🍷

I love the ambiance of this place. So chill and appetizing. Down side was most of the things we wanted to order like Angus Steak, Baby Back ribs and beefsalpicao was not available! 😭 Went here with fam for NewYear and luckily Matteo G was there! Haha. 🖒
Nestled among the clusters of food and lifestyle shops in Banilad Town Center, Ampersand Cebu stood there in a charming rustic country farm vibe to offer a selection of exquisite food and beverages. This new dining spot in Cebu has three concepts: a restaurant, bar, and deli. With its elegant exterior of old wood and bricks, people are certainly piqued at this fantastic foodie destination.
Food: rating for me is 4, with the price you expect a lot already from every dish.
Service: rating is 4, they're friendly and nice but not everyone are.
Place: perfect 5, I like there setup and ambience plus the weekend band, totally nice to spend some time and unwind.
When I dined here a few months ago, I was amazed at how grand the interiors was. I ordered #pumpkin #soup and #porkchops and also, #pasta for my mom. She had a great time there. I will definitely come back again.
There had been too much hype on this place when it opened but i haven't been to Ampersand until last week. We had the Baby Back Ribs, Chicken Binakol and Angus Beef Bolognese Pasta. I love everything that we ordered, particularly the bolognese. But I thought it needed a little more pasta since there was a lot of meat sauce left and its Angus Beef flavor was very rich. I hot surprised that I enjoyed my Chicken dish but I would not order it again if we come back, though. Baby back ribs was great. You can never go wrong with it.The Visual Traveler
The other night we ate dinner at Ampersand. I've been curious about this place for a while, so I was glad that we ended up at BTC. We had bolognese, chicken curry, and tomato soup with cheese sandwich. Their tomato soup's a real winner - I love it so much I'd marry it if I could, jk. The bolognese was just okay. Chicken curry too. Since it was raining hard, we stayed in and had dessert here too. We had their caramel cheesecake, and I also enjoyed it as it wasn't too sweet. Ambiance was really nice too. They also have free wifi, though they don't have a restroom inside.
If you are on a search for a classy dining with your family or friends, an exemplary place to recommend would be the Ampersand Bar and Restaurant located at the Ground Floor of Banilad Town Center, Gov. Cuenco Avenue, Banilad Cebu City. Ampersand Bar and Restaurant . Ampersand Bar and Restaurant began in 2014. With the leadership of Ms. Chandra Mercado and Tom Hines, together they had a vision of serving the finest fresh food and offering the best array of drinks the Cebuanos deserve.
Ampersand Bar and Restaurant exceeded my expectation. Not just with their unique juices like the watermelon and mint drinks that I really loved, their food indeed are great! it's a treat for ourselves that we must try. I love their Truffle Scented Mushroom Cappuccino soup, to the appetizer - the Crab & Artichoke Arancini to the main courses - to mention a few the Chorizo Risotto Nero, Slow Braised Lamb Shank and Smoke Baby Back Ribs. The presentation and their version of each dishes are remarkable - their special kinilaw and their sizzling balut just surprised me. For the dessert, I am amazed on how three flavors of the leche flan were served and made available.
I was invited to try Ampersand's best sellers. I liked the interior of the place especially the open kitchen. You can see how the chefs prepare your food. It was a foodie feast since we had several varities. We had pasta, pork, chicken, lamb, shrimps and desserts.
I also liked their collection of cocktails. Prices might be a little on the mid-high price but if you want to indulge, you can try this place.
The resto is super convenient since it's located at the Banilad Town Center.
Ampersand definitely makes it in our top restaurants to dine when in Cebu. It has chic interiors, cozy ambiance and it offers innovative dishes and cocktails. When we dined there, were able to sample their Crab and Artichoke Arancini, Sizzling Balut, Kinilaw, Slab of Bacon, Chicken Curry Marinara, BBQ Pulled Pork and Pineapple and Gravlax Flatbread, Smokee Baby Backribs, Slow Braised Lamb Shank, Chorizo Risotto Nero and 1/2 Roastee Chicken. For desserts, we had Leche Flan Trinity and Green Tea Yoghurt Cheesecake. Dining at Ampersand makes you forget about time, with good food and comfortable atmosphere. It's one of the low key hangout places in the metro that should be in everyone's must visit restaurants.
