I've been coming to Marisse for years now, and I still see myself coming back for more years to come.
If you visit this cafe, make sure to give their signature sandwiches a try. I couldn't choose which among the Roasted Chicken with Cranberry Sauce, Roasted Chicken with Mango, and Pork Belly with Banana is my favorite (they're just so good!) I did however try their carbonara once, and I don't suggest you try it (it was watery).
Their desserts are delectable. One of the best cakes in town, in my opinion. They're moist, and not too sweet. They also have a good selection of desserts you can choose from if you're like me who isn't such a big fan of cakes.
I love how their tea options isn't as limited as other cafes in Cebu, they provide you with a fresh pot of water everytime you order.
Service has always been great here. The women at the counter have consistently been attentive, approachable, and very professional. Though it does get crowded sometimes, this place still has such a peaceful, homey atmosphere which is great when you just want to take a break.
Looking forward for my favorite cafe to branch out. ❤

Nice place to hangout with friends. Marisse Patisserie is just beside Kayu. Their cake slices are big enough for the tummy. Good ambiance and wide selection of cakes and pastries.
A good place to chill! Ambiance is really nice, quiet and peaceful. We even stayed outside since the landscape was really cozy and bright. The pool added to the attraction too. Their coffee tasted really good! We ordered iced vanilla latter and chocolate strawberry latte. The only thing I didn’t like was the few options they had for dessert. How I wished there were more to choose from.
Great place to hang out and avoid the busy and noisy life of the city. They have butterbeer here! Their cakes are delicious and the place is simple but well designed.
I have nothing but good words for this cafe. First off, the place is nice and very serene. Their staff are friendly and accomodating. I must say, they have the best cakes with quality ingredients. For some reason, their Chocolate Overload reminds me of the cake in the movie, Matilda. Though I haven't tasted the one in the movie but I could just imagine it's that good! Not overly sweet, has that rich chocolate ganache and moist chocolate cake layers.

I cannot begin where to compliment this dainty patisserie. I came here on a busy weekday and I love how I have an escape of the city within the city. I don't have to drive long to get the scenery offered in 32 Sanson. I was astonished with their carefully selected artisan sandwiches. It was a combination I haven't seen before. I ordered their Roasted Chicken and Cranberry sandwich. I like roasted chicken. I also like cranberry. But put em together, it's divine! You get a combination of savoury and refreshing fruit in every bite. I binged this night! Knowing how good the sandwich was, I ordered their cinnamon roll topped with cream cheese. It melts in your mouth. The real superdtar was their Pecado Mortal. Gooey, ooey, chocolatey GOODNESS! Do not leave this place without trying it.
Ambiance: Very quiet. Nice place to chill with closest friend. Kinda vintage but the colors is in pastel. Instagram worthy place.
Staff: Super friendly AF. We went to thus place straight from work so you can imagine how haggard our face was, but still the staff greeted us with a smile. They don't judge you based on what you wear, or what you look like.
Food: For a big portion, it is cheap. If you like sweets then this place is for you. They have varieties to choose from.
Overall: 10/10 would come back.
We went there on a weekend and a garden party was going on. It was a bit crowded because there was also a tea party inside nonetheless the ambiance was really chill and shabby. I brought my family in and we had fun having a relaxed afternoon near the pool. Food selection was good as well. I personally ordered some tea and a matcha cake. It was a bit sweet but it was still delectable.
Very delicious yet affordable!!! My favourite is this choco twist. Perfect pair for your hot coffee. The place is not crowded and they have ample parking space!

We have been to several cafes and restaurants, but one GOOD thing we noticed about Marisse Patisserie was, their high-end customers RESPECT privacy. Most of the time, at OTHER cafes and restaurants, "random customers" who just came in always prefer to sit beside an already crowded table or a couple who's on a date... even though there are still so many other "available" seats to choose from. Because of those types of "random customers", it's so difficult to have a conversation without being heard by them since they're sitting so close to your table.
I must say, Marisse Patisserie would be an EXCELLENT choice for an intimate gathering or a date. It is cozy, romantic and has a vacation vibe. You want privacy? Sure.

What I love about the place is the ambience. Its serene and cozy. Their wide selection of cakes and pastries are mouthwatering. I can't wait to try their other specialties. As for the price, it's just right!
This pastry shop caters mostly to the upscale market. Situated within Rockwell's 32 Sanson St Complex, this high-end shop has a country vibe. With a pool at the side, the ambiance is relaxing and meditating.
I had a bread with floss. The taste is decent, maybe it is not just my taste preference. This is pricey and the servings are quite small.
Perfect place to chill and unwind. When you feel the need to escape crowds or the distractions of technology but still accessible to the city, marisse is the perfect place for you. Affordable cakes and nice view. 😇
One cake is enough to satisfy your cravings. But seriously i am much engulfed on the ambiance that i tend to forget my cake 😂
Marisse Patisserie has an exquisite ambiance and not the typical cafe that you would encounter. The pool beside the cafe is really plus points. Their desserts and frappe also taste very good at a reasonable price and the staff were accommodating as well. I've been here 4x already and still love the place.

The pastry shop that lets you forget youre in the city. Hidden in a compound, this is the place to be if you feel like eating pastries and cakes which are surprisingly really budget-friendly too, and at the same time if you want to experience peace and serenity without having to travel far like Busay or Lapulapu.
I love their cakes and pastries. I got the Pecado Mortal which was AMAZING. It has a very rich, smooth and chocolateyyy taste to it😍 The cashew brittle gave it just the right amount texture. Their coffee was great. The ambiance was very nice. It's private and quaint and perfect for coffee dates. I would definitely go back to taste more of their pastries.

The whole ambiance of the place is so beautiful, eith the landscaping and the adorable cafe itself. The food and beverage are also very good. If you are quite a sweet tooth, I recommend you try the cookie dough cake or the red velvet cake; they're very good. Their variety of beverages are also very delicious olus the other menu items that I have tried taste really good like the banana and pork sandwich. The sevice is also excellent and the place is perfect for Instagram, ha-ha!

Ambiance: This is the best thing about this dessert haus. Well-lit and light colors are used for the decors and walls. The place is instagrammable especially that table near the cr. 😂 There are tables inside as well as outside in the mini garden near the swimming pool.
Service: Self-service type. Coffee will be served later by the batista.
Price: Not that expensive considering their very nice ambiance.
Their dessert was good. I love their frozen cookies and cream (non-coffee), and their red velvet was way better than the other coffee shops. I don't feel the vibes with regards to their staffs, but I'm loving the calm design and color of the interior💖

A nice place to have dessert with a friend. Once again, the ambiance did it. You should also try their exquisite flavors of danish. They have guava flavor. Get a load of that. Satisying. Would be perfect with a hot drink.

Marisse Patisserie is just beside KaYu. Location maybe hard to find but they have spacious space for parking. Little romantic place for lovers. They should have lit their swimming pool to make a better scene for customers. Mid range for food price. Dessert is amazing and drinks is also good.
Looks like I have discovered a new place to sip a cup of coffee and satisfy my sweet taste buds. I was surprised that this place ever existed, good for a night of conversation with friends. Their cakes are delicious, their place is so artsy and taking note that they have good background music too 😊

Nice ambiance. The place is a very quiet and relaxing. Although I am not a fan of sweet stuffs, i only tasted all the dishes and I could say they are delicious. I will not say that much based on my own taste but with the people I asked, they recommend this place for desserts that would fit your cravings for sweets. This is perfect for people who love sweets, but definitely not for me because sweets aren't my thing. Other people's opinions matters most than mine and the sweet lovers can tell that this place is really for them ❤️. This is a place perfect for corporate meetings and mini-conference.

Coffee costs the same with other coffee shops but it comes in a cute cup and saucer which i find expensive. The sandwich that i ordered was i think too small for the price. Cakes are delicious though!
5. Accessibility of the resto: not accessible by a PUJ. You can walk from JY mall or sinply grab a cab.

Marisse Patisserie is a beautiful dessert / brunch place with shabby chic interiors. It is both refreshing and surprising. It carries a wide selection of bread, pastries and cakes. They also offer coffee and non-caffeinated drinks. It's a good place to unwind and catch up with friends or a nook for your me-time where you can work on your passion projects.
The patisserie is not easily accessible since it is not along the road nor inside a mall or complex, and I think that's what makes it more charming. It's situated inside 32 Sanson by Rockwell. We're pleased how the patisserie is surrounded by greens. It's also overlooking a pool with azure waters and there are elegant cabanas on the pool side. Now who wouldn't want stay long in a cafe like this?
From our recent visit to the patisserie, here are our personal favorites : Matcha Strawberry Cake, Guava Cheesecake, Pecado Mortal Cake, Ube Ensaymada and Cinnamon Roll.

If Sleeping Beauty inspires a cafe', it's Marisse Patisserie. Ornate of blush pink flowers from the outside sitting in a sturdy bicycle and of soft green, blue, white interior and feminized decor of love birds, and romantic notes, this cafe might have been built out of the owner's fairy tale dream.
Situated in the posh Rockwell 32 Sanson Road while sitting beside a 4ft deep languid pale white colored pool, the off populated pastry house is an awesome hideout for a hermit wanderer.
The menu gives out the common espresso and coffee to non-induced frappucino concoctions. Confectionary desserts - pistachio, chocolate, mango, berry, red velvet, macapuno and exotic guava cake releases the serotonin for a neurotic experience. Adds breads, rolls, twist and bun variations and croissants captures the la france la doce vita.
Sleeping Beauty is a metaphor for a tale experience. But this place could be a sleeping giant in the dessert business. Awesome customer service, wide selection and pristine location, it's just a matter of time this beauty wakes up and start generating a franchise.

At first I was hesitant to visit this place, and i always thought that there were no new places to visit here in Cebu. I guess i was proven wrong.
Well, first, it is pretty obvious that this cafe is very 'instagrammable' from the walls to the chairs and to their pastries. They have good tables for instagram worthy flat lays. So if you want to add some new scenes to your instagram feed, then i guess you have to visit here.
Second. If you love the cakes and pastries of Abaca, Leona's and Dove street but find it too ordinary after several visits, then try their pastries here. I can't decide which shop makes the best for i personally believe that each has their different style. But yes Marisse belongs to that same level, no doubt.
Not really a fan if cheesecake and matcha but their Mango Cheesecake and their Matcha cheescake just changed my mind. It was really good. Every bite and every part of the slice was just heaven. It was not too heavy as well, as it was just a light sweet finish to a meal. A perfect dessert indeed.
Third, if you're the type of person who values isolation and values a good place to read books. Go here as well. It's really peaceful here with good music to complete the vibe.
Fourth, good staff, good parking space and very comfortable restroom.
I would go here for dessert or a quick escape from the noise of the city.
Mouthwatering desserts and very tasty strawberry banana drinks! I love their foods and the crew were accommodating. The ambiance is so wow! Relaxing mode on the go with some music around. The price are worth it. We celebrated our 33rd monthsarry with my man here and we didn't spent alot to be honest. We enjoyed taking photos because the place is filled with nature plus the alluring pool. I would love to come back here. It was a great day and our tummy were so full and satisfied. A must try. ❤❤❤

I'm a sucker of pretty pastel colors. I like to look at girly interiors, and most of all, I like sit on a very comfy corner w a mellow music playing in the bg while I sip my favorite matcha tea.🍵
This place definitely has it all. They have the peaceful location with so many trees that surrounds the cafe that makes it more peaceful-looking and environment friendly. You would have to wait to see the dainty lights at night - so pleasing. I was attracted to the pool when I arrived but unfortunately, it's strictly not for swimming.😩😂 But it explicitely added beauty to this Patisserie. 🌸💓

I actually like it here. It is not so crowded and it is a perfect place for meet-ups with old friends. They have coffee and non-caffeinated drinks. I also love their cake selection. They also have reasonably priced pastries and bread. The place is also very Instagram-worthy.

It's location is strategically placed at a quiet area (32 Sanson) adding a certain charm to their place. Not far to traverse if you were to commute, and parking spaces are accessible.

The overall feel to the place is quaint, the interior is visually appealing especially with the accents and hues of the colors white and blue, making the place pop out. The place doesn't play music (or at least at that given time), so conversations are a breeze. The place retains its aesthetic charm either day or night, meaning the place is photogenic, definitely Instagram/blog worthy. The crystal blue pool can be seen outside, together with its neighboring restaurant and greenery, and it is pleasing to the eyes.

Ordered four off their menu:
Tuna Melt [130.00Php], which was made with tuna, dressed with a rather tangy aioli and embedded with generous slices of cheese. The bread was slightly crunchy on the outside yet soft as you bite into it. The aioli balances out the salt levels of the tuna and cheese. It was also served with a side of uber thin and crispy banana chips (a dead ringer to a potato chip and of which were baked by the way) but it was a bit bland, would've been better with a good dash of salt.
Smores Bar [60.00Php], a rather quirky take on the camp/bonfire favorite but it's nothing new. The crust was buttery and flaky, the chocolate ganache filling was decent tasting together with the silky marshmallow on top, although I found it a bit too sweet for my liking.
Danish Apple Crostata [75.00Php], the bread was slightly hard to bite on, but it was buttery and the sweetness wasn't overpowering. The minced apple center was perfectly mixed, a good contrast to the bread. The cinnamon did not overpower the apples and the sweetness was perfectly balanced.
Pecado Mortal [130.00Php/Slice], a chocolate cake dashed with cocoa powder and topped with caramelized pecans. I found it a bit heavy and overly sweet. Not a fan of this

They have cakes, pastries and sandwiches. A good place to have breakfast since they open early. It's quiet and not a lot of people yet. I tried their roasted chicken sandwich with chutney and you have the elements of the sweet and savory kind. I also tried their chocolate cake and its one of their best sellers. Coffee is also good here.

Cozy place. Yummm cakes. My favorites are prohibido and bailey's chocolate cake. Go there earlier during the day as the cakes tend to sell out towards the end of the day. I think the only cake i have tried so far that i didn't like very much was the ube cake

My all time favorite is there matcha ice cream bar. It's the best one I have ever had and it homemade.
Their little pastries and cake are good too and the staff is super nice. A must try if ur in the area.
