They’ve truly kept their concept real, made each client experience satisfactory, and quality of ingredients and pricing in mind. Great venue for intimate dinner with family and friends. One of Cebu’s best!
I am from America and let me tell you this restaurant is the best in cebu. The staff was awesome and always helpful. The food was amazing and cheap. I tried just about everything on the menu and there was nothing to complain about. This is a must stop destination in cebu. The young girl manager was very friendly and always greeted me and the guests in the restaurant. 5 Stars!!!! A+++++
We love this place

I enjoy their vegetation food, they have a lot.
...and the desserts...
The service is quick and the ambience is homey.
No other place like this in Cebu.
Brought my staff here for dinner one night. Best Italian food I have had in Cebu. And the service for table of 10 was great.
Authentic, Homemade Italian cuisine.
Lovely servers, and cozy ambiance.
It is a treat to enjoy fresh and simple Italian food in Cebu.

This place has the best pizza that I've ever had. Thin but direct to the point, packed with flavor. Pasta is also great. Serving size is good as well. Photo above enough for 2 hungry people.
First time at Trattoria. The bruschetta was amazing. The pizza was some of the tastiest I’ve had in the Philippines. The spaghetti with meatballs were tasty but the pasta part of it is definitely different. The meatballs themselves were awesome but the whole spaghetti sauce and the pasta was a bit of an acquired taste but still somewhat tasty. The cappuccino was very tasty too. The spaghetti was the weakest of the meal but the the bruschetta was so good we ordered more.
One work of caution...if you are expecting a massive portion size, this isn’t the place to come. The focus is on taste not quantity.
All in all I would give it a 4 to 4.5. Potion size and a bit slightly odd spaghetti if improved would defiantly raise it to 5. With that said , I’ll be back for sure.
Best italian restaurant in cebu. Great value for the price. Will definitely come back for their steaks and risotto 💙
My all-time fave food is carbonara and the best carbonara I've tasted is right here. If you love italian food, you have got to check this place out.
Our first time here and I didn't expect the food serving to be huge and yummy! Very happy tummy tonight 😊 the staff are also very nice and accomodating. Will surely be a regular here.
One of my favorite restos in Cebu. Staffs are very attentive, food is delicious and freshly made too. My daughter loves their focaccia bread and salads.

Food - So me and my gf ordered the truffle pasta, carbonara and the Bruschette. The pasta was ok needed a little bit of salt. I liked the bruschette. A bit pricey also but what do you expect from an italian resto right.
Ambience - Nice interior and cozy.
Service - Staff was very quick and attentive.
Been a while since I’ve been really impressed with a new food place! This is a good place to dine and wine with family and friends. The ambience is relaxing, really cozy — plus the food is heavenly!
A delayed flight coming from Manila, dreaded Cebu traffic from Mactan to the City..all worth it if only to have a bite of the food from Trattoria. Hearty dishes, perfect ambiance and excellent service. One cant ask for anything more.
This is the sister branch of Da Gianni Cucina Italianna in Westgate, Alabang. We were fortunate enough to be able to taste bestsellers from their Cebu branch, made possible by having the local chefs flown to the Alabang branch for us to have a taste of Da Gianni, Cebu.
For starters, we had 3 beautiful bruschettas with a touch of local flavor. A fan favorite is the °Quattro Formaggi Bruschetta, with black truffle paste, as well as the classic °Crispy Ham Bruschetta, with Italian tomato sauce and black olives. What intrigued me the most was the °Cebu Mango Bruschetta, with slivers of sweet Cebu mangoes, and dotted with pieces of mozzarella cheese. This gives sweet and savory combos a run for their money!
If Manila has the Tomino cheese dish, Cebu boasts of the Mozzarella Di Bufala used in this indulgent °Caprese Salad. With fresh tomaties and basil, this dish highlights the mozzarella and is the posterboy of the Italian colors, green, white and red!
For their pastas, we had a taste of their glorious °Seafood Risotto, perfectly cooked arborio rice with mixed seafood, as well as some °Ravioli with Tomato Sauce. These heavenly packets pilled with Ricotta cheese and spinach really made my day! Don't foget to try the °Spaghetti with meatballs too for the kids. Their homemade tomato sauce is meaty and is made from scratch!
For the Secondi Piatti, we were surprised with this tender Osso Bucco. So tender, that you forget and tend to get second helpings already. Rice please!
They also made us try two lovely desserts that really blew us away. The °Italian Lemon Sorbet was served in a lemon cup, and is quite refreshing, sort of a perfect palate cleanser. The rich °Orange and Chocolate Truffle was a pleasant surprise. Reminded me of Valencia oranges, or the neapolitan chocolates I used to love as a kid.
Having a glimpse of the equally great Cebu menu was really helpful. Can't wait to go to Cebu next year (for my cousin's wedding) and try the actual Trattoria da Gianni to sample a piece of true Cebuano-Italian hospitality!
Quattro Formaggi Bruschetta. with black truffle paste
Cebu Mango Bruschetta. with mozzarella cheese
Crispy Ham Bruschetta. Italian tomato sauce and black olives
Caprese Salad. Mozeralla de Bufala, fresh tomato, and basil.
PASTA
Seafood Risotto. Arborio rice with mixed seafood
Spaghetti with meatballs. Homemade tomato sauce.
Ravioli with Tomato Sauce. Filled with Ricotta Cheese and Spinach.
DESSERT
Italian Lemon Sorbet. It's very sour but it's good.
Orange and chocolate Truffle, I love this dessert.
Aside from tasting the dishes offered here in Manila, we got to taste their dishes all the way from Cebu. Check it out below! 🙂. Crispy Ham Bruschetta (P140). Cebu Mango Bruschetta (P140). Quattro Formaggi Bruschetta (P140). Sadly, I never got to taste any of the served Bruschetta above. Huhuhu. Guess I’ll have to fly to Cebu to try this one out! Hihihi
Homemade Italian Goodness, in the heart of Cebu. Every dish is made with quality ingredients, most especially with love. Perfect place for a casual meal, meetings/ birthday/ celebration in the private room, or even date night. If you haven't been here, you're missing out. Sunstar Best of Cebu for 2016 and 2017!
I was able to try a sampler of the famous dishes from Trattoria da Gianni Cebu as part of a Zomato x Da Gianni Manila event. As a starter, I recommend that you try the Quattro Formaggi Bruschetta, one could really tell that they were very generous with the black truffle paste. It was so, so good! I also recommend that you try the Cebu Mango Bruschetta. It's something quite different for me to have mango on a bruschetta but I feel that it highlights the mango fruit that Cebu is famous for. Fans of Buffalo Mozzarella can also look forward to the Caprese Salad. Among the pasta that we were served, I highly recommend the Seafood Risotto. It was flavorful and they really loaded it up with the bounties of the sea. For the main dish, we were served the Osso Buco. It was so flavorful and the meat was so tender. After such a hearty Italian meal, it was a delight to wash it all down with the Italian Lemon Sorbet. It was a perfect ending to such a delicious meal, very light and citrusy, almost like a palate cleanser. You can be sure that when I visit Cebu again, I shall dine at this place.
Many thanks to Zomatoph and Da Gianni Manila.

I just had my dinner today at Trattoria da Gianni. A fulfilling and satisfying experience at the same time. I love their excellent service, the courteous staff, & most especially the food (tho I tried only few). I've been trying out restaurants in the metro which I expect to have the same customer service abroad and by far Tratorria da Gianni is the only one that made me WOW and happy. I will surely come back with more friends to try everything on the menu! Soddisfacentemente buono! 👌🏼💯🇮🇹❤️ (did I say it right? 😉)
The food is great. Ragu della Nonna is my favorite pasta dish, perfect sauce and perfect al dente pasta. Another favorite is the Fresh Pasta Beef Stroganoff. The place looks great and the service is also really good.
Food and service was good. Some of the prices of their pasta dishes are relatively cheaper compared to that of Italianni's. However, their pasta doesn't come with bread. La Tegola serves foccacia for free as an appetizer. I have asked if they had birthday treats for someone who's celebrating their birthday when I made a reservation and their staff said that she will try to discuss this with their Manager. Restaurants usually give complimentary desserts for birthday celebrants but this one did not. I think they could do better on this area.
I have a soft spot for restaurant food made from scratch, and this place had great, homemade, al dente pasta. Their sauces are also made fresh, so they are very flavorful, but not in a way that assaults your taste buds (meaning: more subtle).
As for the staff -- they're awesome. They're friendly and very patient with us. They are knowledgeable about their food, and are good with their wine recommendations (which is a big plus for me, quite honestly).
Ambience-wise, I love that the place has a homey feel to it. There are few rowdy people too, so there's none of the crazy restaurant vibe. It's great for chilling and actually having conversations with the rest of your party.
It's a bit on the expensive side though. Considering that it is pasta, you can get better prices from other restaurants (since Cebu seems to have a lot of Italian restos to go to), but the service and ambiance made the price worth it. ;)

Food is really good. The waiters are very attentive. The place has a very nice ambience. We definitely will come back here. It's definitely in our go-to list.
Tonight we had dinner at Trattoria da Gianni - yay another restaurant off my bookmark list! Anyway, we ordered salad, several types of pasta, risotto, and steak.
For the salad, we had Arugula. As I'm not fond of salads, I chose not to try this one, but my relatives did think that it was way too bitter - though that should be expected since that's the way Arugula should be.
For pasta, we ordered two from their special of the day: adobo spaghetti & fresh pasta with asparagus pesto. We also ordered their spinach ravioli, spaghetti meatball, and carbonara. I got to try 2 out of 5 that we ordered, that is the adobo spag and ravioli. I like the ravioli here, but it's not really something to write home about lol. The adobo spaghetti was good and I liked it better than the ravioli, though that may be because I haven't had adobo in a while, haha. We also ordered their US Beef tenderloin, and it was alright, I love the presentation of the dish.
For risotto, we had their seafood risotto. It was alright and I was glad that it didn't really have a strong seafood taste to it.
The server we had was really nice and smiley, and they have free wifi (no password whaaat), and the ambiance of the place is great too. Their bathroom is located at the second floor of the resto, which might pose a problem if you go with a senior citizen or PWD.
Satisfy your cravings for Italian food at the newly opened Italian restaurant owned by the Guidicellis of Cebu. Trattoria da Gianni made its debut in the food business last April, 2016 (soft opening) and immediately created buzz to foodies around the city. See you guys there at crossroads!!!! #TrattoriaDaGianni #cebu
The restaurant has just opened and it's creating quite a buzz. I'm giving this 4 out of 5 because of several things.
No question on taste and freshness of ingredients. Very flavorful and quite an experience. Their servings are really good for one person. Prices are on the high side. For 2 people, it will set you back for about 1500php without the dessert.
Maybe they could do a little something for their customers --- free bread or something which other Italian restos are doing. They have to be a little more competitive since there are other Italian places in the city.
We didn't order dessert because we were already full after what we had.
The special today was fresh pasta with porcini mushroom, it was a little bit salty may be because of the olives and mushroom but it was delicious. You just need to have bread when you eat it.
We especially love the Cotoletta alla Bolognese. We had the breaded pork instead of the chicken. We would order it again but it would be better if there was a side dish to go along with it. Something starchy like bread or potatoes would have been perfect.
We also had their Tris Bruschetta special- 3 types for the price of 380php. My only comment would be the bread, it has that crunchy sound but it was a little hard similar to a baguette in texture. I would prefer a more softer bread.
They have service charge added to your bill. The Wait staff was attentive and a bit knowledgeable about the food. But when I asked one server about the kind of bread they used for the bruschetta, he sounded a bit condescending and didn't answer me.
When you ask for service water, they'll give you a vino bottle of water with glasses of ice to boot.
I think the place is aiming for a different kind of clientele. I felt that they have a bit of bias towards their customers. But try them and see what kind of food experience you'll have.
