the service was A+! the staff were v nice and they were quick to serve us our lunch. during our stay there, they gave away free "Racks" shirts to a few tables. the servings were large too! it was a filling meal. our server's name was Vincent. he was very accommodating. every once in a while he'd apss by our table to ask if we needed anything etc. keep it up guys! hoping to go back :)

Their Blue Plate Weekday Specials really can fill up a hungry tummy! Recommended for really hungry people after a long drive! :) It also helped that the food looked tempting before eating it. Hehe
The restaurant serves good food but it doesn't really give a big standout from other restaurants. They have a different taste and they offer something new, which is good cause it's unique. May be a little pricey but they also offer budget meals. Still would recommend this though, we need something new for our tastebuds, I think?
I love their clam chowder. Definitely one of the best. Their ribs though is quite expensive and i didn't notice any significant difference from the ribs from other restos. Although the taste did improve when you add sauce on it. The ribs was only good for two people but it was enough to make us super full after. The servers were really great though and the ambience was nice.
I love their Kansas Baby Back Ribs so tender. You can choose your own two side dish. Their spicy garlic chicken was great and delicious. Their menu was quite pricy.
The place is nice and cozy perfect for family eat outs. The food is reaaalllyyt good. The chicken is tasty. Ribs is very tender and soft. The sause was amazing. The serving time is fast and the staffs are friendly. The price is quite higher but super worth it. I highly recommend this place for special occasions.

There is a heavy influx of local smokehouses in cebu nowadays and racks is one of them. Racks is known for "the fall off the bone meats" and their own brand of sauce, available in regular or spicy. They're also Known for their grilled house specialties and premium selections such as Racks baby back ribs, Racks classic pork ribs, racks premium boneless pork, Racks beef ribs, racks sampler and sausage plate, sweet n smoky boneless pork, glazed memphis babys and carolina gold pork ribs. Aside from the ribs, they have a must-try dishes, the loaded nachos topped with salsa, pulled pork, crispy onion rings, cheese and sour cream, carnitas plate its a style barbecued beef served with seasoned rice, breaded fried chicken with gravy, house-made sausages, pulled pork meal, and street corn salad lettuce and grilled corn in creamy dressing and et al. I ordered their baby back ribs half slab and it comes with 2 sides, and I chose corn and carrots and house mashed potato. The ribs was tasty, deliciously soft and tender, it compliments well with their barbecue sauce. It was mouthwatering and irresistible! but the portion size was too small I meant it doesnt look like half, it looks more like a 1/4 to me. The mashed potato was buttery and creamy it was awesome. The corn and carrots was fresh and cooked to perfection! Ambience was cozy, It has a modern industrial look, with the vintage and classic look, u know, those wooden furnitures and a painting or other work of art executed directly on a wall. it looks sleek. The service was okay at the onset, staff were friendly and accommodating, food was served at a reasonable time but when I was asking for my bill, I had to get near to the lady to ask for it because the 2 servers I called several times for some reason, they just couldnt hear me. Anyways, Its another pricey restaurant but id say its still worh it! The food I ordered tastes great! So, if you want a go to place for your rib fix, this is the place to be!
I am always on the lookout for a divine food experience.. sadly, finding the “divine” is so much of a rarity. Today’s lunch brought much happiness, though.. My buttered dory was perfection— melts in your mouth. The clam chowder and garlic toast was spot on to break my 16hour fast.

I can't believe I just keep on passing this restaurant by lol. I ate here for the first time with my signifcant other and it's the only restau I've been to where the meat is not bland. Every ingredient of their recipe is flavorful. The corn side dish in my Carolina Gold Pork Ribs is delicious. The meat we've eaten; chicken, ribs & fish--all literally melts in your mouth. They're very soft and nor rubbery like other restaurants' meat meals. Although they are a little pricey (food ranges from 250-1000Php) but it's so worth it. I really can't believe I was just passing by Racks because they're usually one of the most unbusy restau's in Seaside, but they really are a must try! Coke with lemon & barbecue sauce is a plus!
My favorite restaurant. I really love the food here especially their carbonara and racks sampler. It is not that expensive though so it's a good place to eat with your family and friends.

I love how their staff is very accommodating to their customers and they never fail to check on us as well. The atmosphere is very diner-ish which adds flavour to the experience.
Food is great. I’ve been here maybe three times and I’ve never had a bad food served on my table. Obviously they have a tasty set of ribs to offer but I also would advice to get their Buttermilk Biscuits.
Over all, the travel to seaside to eat at Racks is worth it!
First time to try here yesterday. Very nice area plus their food really taste good- improvement on the serving though. The meat are very soft and yummy.

If your budget is tight, then this is not the right place for you. The food here is lavish. I mean you don't have to argue with the price since they serve exceptional dishes. I love their baby back ribs. The meat is so tender and sweet. I also crave for their onion rings. I don't know if I'm the only one who's addicted to onion rings, which is kinda weird 😅, but the way they cook or serve it, hmm couldn't explain it. I just loved it. Overall food experience is perfect! 😍

We come back for their sauces ;). They're just the I-want-to-steal-you-take-you-home kind! If you are in a tight budget, this place isn't for you, but if you don't mind spending some moolahs on some premium, high quality meat then here's your place.
Their air-condtioning really turns me off though. It just gets too cold that I literally shiver while eating! It also has an effect on my appetite, and maybe there are a lot of other people like me?
Their side dishes are really good. Food reaches the table relatively fast knowing that this kind of food takes a long while to prep and cook. Service is great also, very accommodating staff and they help a lot with the choices.
I first tried RACKS at their branch in Ortigas. I was impressed with the food there that I'm just glad they have opened a branch in Cebu. Nonetheless, they fell a bit short with how I expected my food to be, when I had tried their food at SM Seaside City. Although the food in RACKS at SM Seaside was honestly delicious, their meat was less juicy, so we had to put on some more of their readily available sauces (which were good) on the meat.
The restroom inside was most of the time occupied (it was a peak hour, to be fair), so I had to go out and use the mall restroom.
As mentioned, this place can be packed during peak hours and seasons.
The staff were attentive and professional.
Many Cebuano foodies might complain of how the food here can cost a bit pricey, compared to homegrown backribs brands serving bigger portions for a lesser price.
The food is delicious, no doubt. However, I do find it too pricey. We only ordered 2 things plus 1 drink and the bill was P990.

For the love of ribs, my boyfriend and I ate here for lunch cuz as they'd all say it, this is the best ribs in town. Well, the ribs are easy to eat. The price is a bit heavy tho. They have their own sauce which I guess compliments the ribs. They let you choose 2 side dishes. I was happy enough to pick corn on the cob. It's yummy but still, I'd give it a 3.5. 😋
We got "Southern Favorites" (about P1.3k+) and their buffalo wings. The pork ribs were really tender and fall-off-the-bone but bland so we used Racks' own BBQ sauce helpfully provided in every table and it paired quite well with the meat. The southern fried chicken was very crispy and paired nicely with the provided gravy. Buffalo wings were not as spicy as I expected but nonetheless, it was a good meal. The platter was good enough for 4-5 people (except if you're heavy rice eaters then the one platter of rice provided would never be enough 😂😂😂).
Overall, it was a good dining experience as the servers were all very accommodating and we didn't have a hard time getting their attention and they were kind enough to ask us if we had an SM Advantage card so we can avail a 10% discount. We never even knew that they had discounts so it was a pleasant surprise. 😊

Very successful lunch in Racks. Food was served hot and tasty. I ordered fish&fries with bottomless coke plus the homemade mushroom soup. I did read the previous negative reviews but that sure did not match my experience. Prices are high so this place should deliver at all times ;-)
The ribs are bland on their own but i learned thats how people from the "west" eat it: relying heavily on apply-it-yourself bbq sauce. So its okay i guess. The meat was super tender but i was disappointed as it was already cold when it got to my table. The chicken was great too and i loved how they had these grits and honey on the side. The side dishes were pretty okay nothing special. Actually now that i think about it, it was kind of bland. But overall the dining experience was okay. Kind of underwhelming but okay nontheless.

I was craving for pasta when I realized that The Racks is already here in Cebu. I tried Seafood Scampi pasta and I was not wrong when i chose this food. Satisfied with the shrimps and the taste is superb. Not too oily.. Very healthy indeed! Would love to try their ribs next time. 😊
