Try the GodFire and Gyoza, it wont disappoint you. My personal fave is the gyoza as it’s bite sized — not the big ones that give you too much breading. The service is pleasant too. One of my go to’s whenever im craving for ramen.

This is the best ramen place for me especially their Godfire ramen together with Karage. 🤤
The place is quiet and not crowded which is also what I really like here.

This is by far the best ramen place in Cebu! Price is reasonable and place is not too crowded. Personally liked their Godfire ramen. I will definitely visit more often :)

I loved their karaage. This was my first time trying karaage tho but it was so good and crunchy. I read reviews before coming here and compare it with other Japanese restaurant reviews and heard that their karaage is a must try. I'm not really a fan of authentic Japanese ramen but I chose the God Fire Ramen coz I want to try how fire it is 😅. It was not my taste but the spiciness helps. My partner ordered the sisig don and was very satisfied becoz it was all meat and no fats. The customer service was excellent, polite, attentive and helpful.

Favorite ramen house in Cebu! Not a powerful broth enough to make it too overpowering, which makes you finish the whole bowl in one sitting. A little bit pricey, but I understand why.

They may be a little expensive but it sure is my favorite ramen place in Cebu yet! It's delicious and makes me remember the authentic ramens I tried in Japan. Love it!

THEY HAVE LUNCH SET! Pay as much as 400. Available even on weekends.

The black ramen is so good! The karaage is good too. It felt and tasted like Ippudo. If you live in the south, this is the nearest and most decent ramen place near you.

They have free wifi.

They don’t have lemons.

Service is good.

First time here and I loved it! Ramen taste delightful and I love the Japanese vibes. We ordered their Black Tonkotsu Ramen and Special Tonkotsu Ramen (not in pic) and Gyoza for sides and they were delicious! The only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars, is the decor. You could honestly use a revamp. We were seated near the kitchen entrance so I saw the not so orderly cashier area.

But food was definitely awesome! 😊

Never heard of a Ramen House in JY Square before until a friend of mine brought me here. My friend and I both ordered their God Fire Ramen because they said that it was spicy, however, I did not feel the spiciness at all. The broth was flavorful but not that thick. The noodles were also perfectly cooked. I also ordered Gyoza but nothing really special. It was the same to all the Gyozas I've tried before.

If you want an affordable and good ramen, this is the place to be.

I have been craving for this ramen for a few months already but couldn't find the opportunity to visit. Luckily, I was in the area for some business and so I made it a point to visit. The Black Fire Ramen was awesome! I made sure to try the 2 different broths befoee mixing them all up. Wow! I just love it! Ramen Yushoken is good but I like Ikkousha better. the broth of Ramen Yushoken is too think for me, mabilis nakaka-umay. On the other hand Ikkousha's broth is quite balanced (for my taste). Will definitely come back for more. ^_^

Tried Ikkousha under the recommendation of a professor of mine who claims that it is the place for authentic ramen in Cebu. We ordered Gyoza, God Fire level 2, and Special Tonkotsu. The broth of the Special Tonkotsu is thick and flavorful. The noodles are thin and chewy. The cha-shu is thicker compared to other ramen houses in the city. My boyfriend’s brother tried the God Fire level 2 and he says the broth is excellent. The Gyoza tastes so good and does not leave a bad after taste. Also, the service water does not taste gross which is a definite plus for me.

Note: There is a review for Ikkousha in the app that says you should reserve in advance to get a table during peak hours. I’d like to point out that they do not accept reservations, yet. We called their number, that’s how I know haha.

I had to ask local Cebuano friends the best Ramen they have in Cebu and this place was the first name that came out of their lips. Located at JY Square Mall, this Japanese restaurant had all the Japanese feels a Ramen place should have. What really made me happy was the fact that was no waiting list! I mean who likes to wait tbh.
We ordered the Tonkotsu Special, Tonkotsu Ajimata and Gyoza. The broth of the ramen tasted good, flavourful and thick, how I want my ramen to be. The noodles were chewy, another check. However the Chashu and the Tamago were kinda cold, like when I bit into the egg, it was really cold. The ramens broth was also not hot enough. I hope they get to serve everything hot because that makes a ramen experience come to full circle.

Good and affordable ramen! The waitress did not know much about their items thou.. But totally made up for it with their friendliness.

Must try:
- gyoza (30pcs, dont be intimidated, the pieces are really tiny)
- special shoyu

The also have a birthday promo wherein if you dine there the day before or the day after your birthday, you get free gyoza (basing on the number of your age; eg: 40 years old, 40 pcs gyoza). But ofcourse, you need to order a minimum of 4 ramens to avail this promo 😊

This place serves authentic Japanese cuisine. Their staff was also accomodating.
They serve tasty ramen in a big bowl and I was already full halfway through finishing. Overall, the experience was great. The ambience was also nice. It's a good place to dine with friends and family.

We tried their lunch promo of only 240php for a half serve of Tonkatsu ramen and five pieces gyoza. It made me want to come back!

The ramen was gooood. Happily sipped in silence for a minute. Though a little too salty for my liking but I'd note next time to request for less salt when signing up their checklist menu (where you get to choose adding spring onions, extra noodles, extra toppings). They serve gyoza in bite size, with a little history explaining the size. It was good though quite hollow from the fillings.

I'd try again next weekend and give additional reviews. Eyeing on the Tan tan ramen.

It has an authentic feel to the real style of ramen made in Japan as it has the ambiance and the flavor to prove it. A delicious place and would definitely eat there again.

When you are craving for a good ramen with a good Japanese ambience, I recommend this place. I admired the place from how the orders are taken, to the service time and accommodating crew. You can also choose your style of ramen, from the texture of the noodles, the taste or even how spicy you want it to be. It's also value for money and so yum yum in the tum tum!

Definitely one of the best ramen house I've been to.. been here 3 times already and the place is always pack but there always a table waiting for me.. hahahaha! The place seems small or maybe the it's always pack but the ambient is nice and clean. There's no problem with parking. You can customize your ramen meaning aside from choosing the flavors you can choose if you want raddish, extra egg, the firmness of the noodles, black mushroom and ect.. It's a little expensive but definitely worth it.

I was badly craving for ramen and quickly thought of this place! Good thing when I went there it was 2pm thus I was the only one dining. I heard they are pretty full during dinner time so make sure to get reservations.

When I got there I immediately thought of pork broth and since im a sucker for pork broth ramen I immediately ordered their tonkutso variant. I added cha-su as if the fatness of the broth is not enough. LOL.

Well, I can say the broth is not too oily and thick compared to other ramen places in Cebu (yushoken / sachi) making it a bit healthier in my opinion. Dont get me wrong though, you can still very well taste simmered bones! Haha. The ramen paired well with their chili sauce also.

They have this godlike variant which is super spicy?! I will definitely go for that next time.

Rating a .5 lower since its pricey. I paid 550 for one bowl of ramen and iced tea. Also, no credit card here. So prepare cash.

I loved how you can "customize" your ramen with the checklist they provide you with, when taking your order. The ramen itself is like no other, when it comes to flavor. They can actually compete with the already existing and established ramen houses. At Ikkousha, you can have the rich texture of Yushoken and the seemingly equivalent quality of the noodles from Barikata, but all of these factors, of course with a touch of what is uniquely Ikkousha.

Nonetheless, the restroom inside the restaurant is quite small.

Lunch time wasn't the same as any other lunch times we've had. We decided to venture out to Ikkousha Ramen in Jy Square Mall.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The interior was quite simple, reminded me of Mujirushi in Ayala and how the Japanese have always liked simplicity.

I found it very fun and exciting to order food in Ikkousha. You fill out a form and choose whatever you like to be put in your ramen! From black fungus, green onions, more cha shu (marinated braised pork belly) and an additional ajitama (soft boiled egg).

You never go wrong with another ajitama!!! It was so good! It's not like any soft boiled egg we usually make. It has some flavor it. You have to close your eyes and feel the smooth texture of the ajitama hit your senses! I like pork and for the love of pork I needed to order more of the cha shu! It was one of the best I've ever had! Oh and I forgot, I had God Fire ramen level 2. It wasn't that spicy. Next time, bring it on level 4!  You don't need to finish all the soup, have 10 or more sips and try to eat all the noodles and meat. The Japanese won't consider that "mottainai" or such a waste.

Visit the place if you want a different kind of ramen. Everything they have is "oishi desu"! Itadakimasu! Eat and be happy!

Yes! Finally a place where i can eat really good ramen similar to that of Ramen Nagi in manila here in Cebu! Hands down my new ramen place in cebu! I particularly love their God Fire which is a version of The Red King.

Their service is exemplary just like any other japanese restaurants. One plus, would of course be the way you order where you get to choose what you want in your ramen.

Some points for improvement though, it could use some ground pork in the broth to make it more flavorful (it is already flavorful as is). Also, it would help if you can already accept card payments and provide bibs for customers who are messy eaters like me. ;)

Overall, great! My new favorit ramen place in Cebu!!!!!

A great addition to the Ramen houses in Cebu, Ikkousha Ramen specializes in ramen with thick and creamy Tonkotsu (pork bones) soup.

What we love about this ramen place is that you can customize the texture of your noodles (soft, normal, hard, very hard). During their soft opening, we ordered the Original Tonkotsu ramen and chicken karaage. The ramen was really satisying but their chicken karaage wasn't impressive at all.

Definitely worth a try if you're a Ramen fan!
This is the best tasting ramen I've tasted in Cebu so far (sorry Yoshuken you're 2nd place now haha). I love how they have 4 levels of spicyness in their tonkutso ramen unlike the ones in Yoshuken and Barikata which is not so spicy. I'm a sucker for spicy food so that's why I love it here. But even their special tonkutsu ramen(not spicy) is really yummy. The taste is almost the same taste as the ones in Ramen Ichiran in Japan. Expensive but definitely worth it!! 😁

If you want to know what does an authentic Hakata style ranen tastes like, this is your place. It tastes similar to the famous Ichiran ramen in Tokyo, from the noodles up to the broth.

The ramen broth, the noodles and the cha siu were really spot on. The broth has a full packed tonkotsu flavor, the noodles were perfectly al dente and the cha siu is thinly sliced yet full of flavor and dont forget the chicken karaage to go with the ramen. Ikkousha Hakata is comparable to Ichiran Japan, Rokurinsha Tokyo Ramen Station and Ippudo ramen. It maybe a little bit pricey, but you are getting your moneys worth.

For me, I consider it the best ramen in the PH so far.
