I love it here, i love the restau bar theme and i like how the place is presented to the people i mean it is spacious and the aircon is good! I love it more than their branch in sm haha. Furthermore, food were amazing especially the kare kare! Mygaaad i have tried a lot of restau-kare kare but theirs is just way better. Second on my food list is their, tokwat baboy yuuuum! Then their sinuglaw; next would be their sinigang and lastly sisig and pinakbet. My friend ordered a banana split but i did not ask her if the taste was how she wanted it to be, and since these were the food we just ordered, the list is just limited to only that đ. Their mango pineapple pitcher on the other hand, is my highly recommended juice drink in a pitcher! It was so refreshing especially on that hot day! The prices were a bit high but it was expected, you know like in a filipino restau like that right? besides, it is all worth it! Their staff were so friendly, too and were very keen on our needs. Now i know where to dine more in ayala. I found my niche.
Food 5/5 undoubtedly, I just love it. One of my fave dish is the kinilaw, meat is very soft and savory. I only gave 4 stars overall since the place is too cold that your body would start shiverring there after
Ordered their group meal for P1,199 (plus service charge) which is already good for 4 people. There were 3 options but we chose the one with the nilagang bulalo soup, sizzling sinigang, fried pla pla fish with garlic, pinakbet, 4 glasses iced tea & a platter of rice.
Out of all the dishes, I liked the soup & the pla pla fish the most. The meat in the soup was so tender it almost melts in your mouth. And they had the bone opened up so it wasn't that hard to get that creamy & fatty bone marrow. The pla pla fish was also so delicious that we ate almost everything (natilok jud up to the bones) and the eggplant salad that came with it was so good too!
My friends also liked the pinakbet but not so much for their sisig (it didn't even taste like sisig). The crew was very friendly & I'd say service was quick for a busy restaurant. Overall, I would say it was worth dining there and I'm definitely coming back.
No bad comments here but 5 stars is only reserved for restaurants that gave an extraordinary experience. Service, price and food is great. Despite ordering so much food for more than 10 people, they were able to give fast service without compromising the quality. I remember they also had this special soy sauce as condiment on the table which I really loved. The crew was really good and approachable for pictures. They sang for my friend's birthday and gave a free dessert.
I Love their food..From soup to sizzlers, they made my filipino palate happy.
FOOD-5
Ambiance- 3 I have to give it a three. There's really nothing special with their set up.
Service-4 quick and courteous.
Gerry's Grill the best Filipino Cuisine Restaurant. The foods recommended barbeque, sizzling sisig, calamares, pancit and chicken. Guys you should try to taste the food its affordable, delicious and classy. Thank you Gerry's Grill.
It's menu in this restaurant fits in any occasion also served freshest foods ranging from Filipino favorites that would totally satisfy our cravings. Every time in the menu goes perfectly well with your favorite beverages weather it is alcoholic or non-alcoholic.
I went to Ayala alone to meet someone and after the meet-up, I was feeling the urge and totally craving for green mango with bagoong and so I searched for restaurants at Ayala that offers it and came up with Gerryâs Grill.
After waiting for Chad for about an hour we decided to go inside at Gerryâs Grill eventhough he is hesitant because of the heavy crowd dining in. But the attendant is polite enough to look for a vacant table and assisted us.
We finally got our seat so we ordered our meal. I got Calamares and Green Mango with Bagoong while Chad picked the Inihaw na Liempo. Our orders were both paired with Garlic Rice and bottomless iced tea.
THOUGHTS
FOOD
⢠Calamares (P205.00)
Itâs so soft in the inside at the same time the coating is crispy. I can taste its creaminess and butteriness especially when dipped into their side-dip mayonaise.
⢠Inihaw na Liempo (P215.00)
I personally love their liempo. Itâs tender and juicy and cooked just right. Itâs also much better when paired with their special soy sauce.
⢠Garlic Rice (P43.00)
I personally got obsessed on garlic rice this past few months and when I found out Gerryâs Grill has it I didnât hesitate to order. Itâs a garlic rice leveled up which differs from my normal expectation from Mcdonaldâs. It does have real bits of garlic on top which really adds aroma and taste to the rice.
⢠Green Mango with Bagoong (P120.00)
My face literally screwed up eating this appetizer. And am I wrong if I ate this after the main course? Lol. Seriously, the mango is honestly sour and thatâs the very good thing that itâs paired with a not-so-salty anchovies or âbagoongâ. I had a me-time on this dish since Chad is not allowed to have shrimp or seafood-related food.
⢠Bottomless Iced Tea (P80.00)
Who wouldnât get hyped about unlimited drinks?! This oneâs a plus on a heavy meal â bottomless and refreshing iced tea!
SERVICE
⢠Itâs a 10/10 service. The best! From the moment you get in, you will be assisted by a staff that introduces her/himself and introduced again to other staff whoâs gonna be the one to serve your orders and youother concerns.
⢠They give justice to their serving time expectations. They told us to wait for 25 minutes and glad they made it within that time. The only thing I didnât like is they took a long time serving our iced tea when I liked it to be served first so we can have some sip while waiting for the orders to be done.
⢠They have polite, cheerful, organized, and neat staffs. Thatâs another plus on my dining experience. Theyâre all very attentive. Kodus!
⢠They also let us sign this comment card to rate our dining experience and how was their service meant to us.
⢠Their manager approached us the moment weâre done eating and asked for a final feedback about how the food and service goes. Overall it was perfect!
AMBIANCE
⢠The place is really crowded but flock of people who probably dine in with family and friends and loved ones. Expected that the place will really be a bit noisy.
⢠The ventilation is quite good. The aircondition is fair enough to cool the whole environment.
⢠The placeâ interior is a bit rustic and glossy. I love how itâs neat and minimal as well as the cozy seats located on each corners of the restaurant.
Overall, it was a great experience! From the food, staff and customer service, they were all professional and approachable and the food all taste perfect and satisfying.
I would love to recommend Gerryâs Grill for those foodies out there who love Filipino cuisine. They have lots of choices to choose from and their dishes are affordable and they already gave justice on how it tastes. Excellent!
We asked concierge at Ayala mall which restaurant has the best sisig for our first time trying and they recommended Gerry's Grill. Service was attentive and the manager even came out to check on our food. We were quoted 20-25 mins wait and the food came out within 10 mins! Speedy service! The pork sisig was good. We added an egg. However the plate did not come out sizzling and we would have liked to mix in the egg ourselves. It was a nice service though for them to do it. The chop suey was also good, it did include some meat, shrimp and chicken heart/liver too. Portion size is enough for 2 for both dishes.
if you want grilled foods, this is a go-to place for you. we were seated immediately and handed with the menu, but the servers were really inattentive. we had to call their attention a couple of times before theyâll get our order. they should really work on that. for starters, i personally love their calamares. the sisig was not that good, i do not recommend one since there are a lot of a onion than the pork itself. their serving for chicken wings is just worth it. place is big so youâll never have to worry of waiting to get a table
We ate here with my family...Their food was sumptuous... Service was fast and their staffs were accommodating... Will definitely be coming back here!

Name of Establishment: Gerryâs GrillLocation: Ayala Center CebuTypes of Food: Grilled and other Filipino dishesOver-all place: Very SpaciousRatings (1-5): 5Other Branch: The Northwing SM City CebuContact: 415-8284 (For delivery service)E-mail: smcebu@gerrysgrill.com. Cebu has lots of good restaurants to fill my open mouth and hungry stomach. With friends around or just on my own, having access to these food haven is a perfect dome to eat and bond. Gerryâs Grill is one of the first food grilling house Iâve dined when I first came to Cebu. Workmates brought me to SM Cebu for a treat and later on, I keep coming back to the place sometime on weekends. It was certainly my first as well to visit their Ayala branch on August 16, 2008 with some team mates at work. Thatâs the day I got my new Canon IXUS 860IS digital camera too. I took snapshots of the venue as well as the delightful dinner we ordered.
The thing I like about Gerry's grill is that they are really inclined to serving great and authentic grilled food. There will always be that sense of Filipino taste in every bite of their grilled or non-grilled food. I specifically love the Kangkong and the Sisig.
I'm a bit surprised that there are a number of foreign tourists dining it like Europeans, Japanese and Koreans. I love their pochero. Not so with their crispy pata (it's like overfried) when I ate there. They got good grilled seafoods like the squid!
As usual I love their grilled seafoods. Unlike any other filipino restaurant they do not offer unlimited rice which makes this resto a bit expensive. I super like their grilled tuna.. superb!
