Cafe resto in Antipolo with a view. Hidden gem in Unciano. Price is okay. Food is okay. Place is very quiet. They have outside tables and a smoking area.
Who wouldn't love a fantastic view over hot tea? Overlooking view, good food, good customer service. Will definitely come back! Will try their cakes next time.
The place is quiet and has a nice view of the metro. The only caveat is that the noise from the passing tricycles can be heard and it can get really loud sometimes, especially when you are near the front. But other than that, this is a good place to wind down and have some quiet time and talk. We will definitely go back here.
I've read the previous reviews and i can say that this place has improved a lot in 6 months time. There is now a parking space and their spa which is just beside the restaurant itself os now on its soft opening. The place has a lot yet to improve, the construction is still ongoing (no actual construction during the time we went there but you can definitely see that the place is not yet completely done).
While i do know that Zomato is for restos, i've included photos of their spa. As for their service, o haven't tried it yet, but i'm planning to soon.
Now, for the resto.
I went there with my brother for dinner, around some time before 7pm. The place is easy to find and it gives you the Santorini feels which I'm sure you could definitely feel once its construction is completed.
It has an overlooking view of the city. We missed the sunset view though because my brother and i decided to watch and finish an episode of Masterchef before we left. We find the outside dining area to be a little bit too dark to enjoy eating, plus the fact that we went there famished, and i can't write an honest, accurate review of one of my senses (my eyes) can't work well. Lol.. So we decided to sit inside their main dining area.
There was a group enjoying their game of Monopoly just next to our table. There are no signages or whatsoever about renting board games for Php 20, so you can have more fun with your friends and family while you enjoy your food. I had to ask one of the baristas to find that out.
The place has nice, cozy ambiance. Medyo mainit nga lang. We think the airconditioning can't keep up with the heat from the lights. There are selected spots na dama mo yung lamig ng aircon. Still, the place looks nice. They even have a tree trunk table set so there's definitely a variety.
We had:
Nachos.
I don't eat raw onions, but their Nachos didn't scare me. Hindi nakakatakot sa'kin yung amoy. Haha!
For the cheese sauce, we wish it was more cheesy. My brother even thought it was mayonnaise.
The serving is good for 2 to 3 persons but for the price, we find it expensive. It will be fine if there were more toppings, and cheesier cheese sauce.
In fairness sa beef, lasang lasa.😊
Chicken Pesto.
It was bland for our liking. We had to add lots of parmesan and even salt (which are readily available at a shelf beside their water dispenser. Note: isang set lang ang comdiments nila kaya pakibalik after gamitin para magamit rin ng iba. Lol).
Carbonara.
Just the right creaminess. Seasoned well but because we love cheese, we added more parmesan too. I liked it more than the pesto.
**their pastas seemed reheated in a microwave. But when we asked the server, of course he said no. They taste ok though.
Choco Chip and Latte Hazelnut
For my Choco Chip, I asked for the cream to be removed so it's missing in the photo. It tasted a bit bland too.
For my brother's Latte Hazelnut, the hazelnut taste was . It's on the strong, bitter blend.
**their drinks taste better as you sip it. Nasa dulo ata yung flavor. Lol.. mas sumarap sila nung paubos na e. Maybe next time, a good stir would help.
Carrot Cake.
Super moist but a little too sweet. The cake in itself is sweet, and so is the frosting. The grated carrots are longer than those of other carrot cakes i've tried. If you cut into it with a fork, maiiwan yung iba kasi parang nasuklay mo lang sila. Medyo may umay kasi masyadong matamis pero masarap pa rin.
Mixed Berries Iced Tea.
We wanted to try their Hibiscus Iced Tea but it's not available. So we were offered this. It's not in the menu. This drink is a must-try. Ang sarap!!!
We brought our drinks and leftover nachos to a table outside. We enjoyed the fresh air that is sometimes interrupted by yosi smell. Syempre nasa labas kami, so that's expected pero medyo panira pa rin.
If the lighting was better, we could've enjoyed dining at that area. Medyo madilim lang talaga. They have cats roaming around too.
Before we left, we visited the spa. Silip lang. The manager, Ms. Malou was so friendly and accommodating, she gave me a quick tour and allowed me to take photos of the place.
**sorry na sa lukot na flyer photo. At least alam mo na kung anong meron sila at magkano.
Will we go back to this place? Definitely! Masarap tumambay and kumain dito. It's worth it. Pero sana pagbalik namin, tapos na tapos na sya.
SUPER NICE PLACE TO HANGOUT WITH FRIENDS PLUS A RELAXING VIEW OF THE CITY and it's LIGHTS! I ordered their Cafe Latte and I would say it's so amazing how the milk and espresso blended so perfectly! 👅
Special thanks to their very accommodating stagf, we really had a great time! 😊
