Tasty indeed. Just order the karaage and stamina ramen. Other ramen that is not spicy is not good as stamina ramen. Noodles feels like the texture of instant noodle. But overall its okay.👌👌👌

This is a really awesome Japanese Restaurant. The menu is simple and straight forward. The interior is very authentic. The food taste and quality is very authentic. Price points very cheap and service is awesome. Very highly recommended
The ramen is still good especially considering the price, but I'm pretty sure it tasted better a couple of years ago. Their chicken karaage is tasty but a little too oily. Still a good place if you're looking for quality food on a budget.
Super cheap but super generous in serving.
Gomoku is a must try. The saltiness is perfect. However, the Tama champon was kinda bland for me.
It captured the real taste of Japanese restos here. This is such an underrated find!!
One of the best ramen here in the area! Value for money is awesome. Dont forget to order the gyoza. One of our go to ramen places when we are at the Lower Antipolo area!
Loved their Gomoku Ramen (seafood). Broth had a deep smoky flavor from the Shiitake mushrooms. The dish had a generous serving of squid, shiitake mushrooms, cabbage, shrimp, pork strips, and quail egg. I really appreciate that after placing my order, the staff immediately mentioned that the seafood ramen would have bits of pork in them and confirmed if that was alright with me or if I wanted to change orders. Also loved their pan-fried gyōza. For P118, you get 6 pieces of delicious dumplings.
Family had Miso Ramen, Stamina Ramen, and Gomoko Nanban Ramen, and Yakiniku-don. They were all very pleased with their food. Serving size of the ramen is huge, good to share (2-3 people).
Serving time was >15min (items were served one at a time). Servers were nice but weren't consistent, we had to follow up 3x for an extra bowl while the table next to us were served their additional requests immediately.
Ambiance is nice, felt like we were inside an old Japanese house. Free parking available with parking attendants to assist you.

Addicting Mabo Ramen and Pork Gyoza
Potato salad must try 👍🏼
Chicken karaage flavourful
Place is small but I don’t mind because food are delish 😋
Staff are accommodating
Went here first time back in 2017 after a mountain hike, back when our taste buds weren't that developed yet. This time around, our taste buds are more matured---ready to try any ramen outside tonkatsu and Shio. So we dined here yesterday to try their Miso Ramen and boy we do love that soup base. Not so thick means less "umay" factor, noodles I suppose are made of egg, and generous amount of bean sprouts. The serving is big, we even shared a bowl since we are not starving when we made our visit. The chasu however is easily broken down like flakes, half slice Tamago is not cooked to perfection (too boiled). Also chili powder is not readily available on tables, you need to requested them from the kitchen. The Gohan is very very good, almost brought us back to Japan where we tasted the best (of course a legit one) chahan/Gohan.
If you're looking for affordable and yummy Japanese food, Tamagoya is the place! A casual place for you to dine with friends and family or even alone. The place is small so it can only accommodate a few diners but worth the wait!
The place and ambiance feels like an authentic ramen place. I ordered their best seller, the Stamin Ramen and wasn't disappointed. The ramen is value for your money at Php 215. I will definitely come back to try more.
My go-to seafood ramen! Take note when I say that their ramen has plenty of squid and vegetables. Plus, their ambience is close to ramen houses in Japan

Parking: 5 to 10 vehicles. Staff and security will assist you where to park.
Location and ambience: Just a few blocks from entering Lilac St., you won't miss the big sign from their restaurant. It is very wise of them to put up a lifesize menu before you enter! the ground floor is good for 10 to 15 max, and they have a 2nd floor for big guests. Since we were two, we are seated downstairs in this cozy corner sitting next to each other.
We ordered the following:
1) Stamina Ramen - 218 pesos - noodle with chili miso paste base soup - for people who has a small appetite (like me), this may be good for 2. The noodles were perfectly cooked (chewy, not soggy). It was served hot from the stove, yet the vegetables were very crisp. The soup base is umami, with the right amount of spicy.
2) Gomoku Nanban Ramen - 238 pesos - noodles with hot and spicy mixed vegetables and seafood. The amount of seafood incorporated in the ramen is very generous, the soup is soy-based (I guess). Also served perfectly! And who does not love quail eggs?
3) Yaki-Gyoza - 118 pesos - traditional pan fried dumplings - REALLY traditional pan fried! As I've read and researched, gyoza is supposed to be cooked all together, and served like sticking to each other, and upside down! Points for that! The pork inside is also very savory, with a good amount of spring onions or leeks in it.
4) Soda - 48 pesos
Overall, the food is great, but the space is not. Maybe it is a good idea to eat it as take-out/take-away. But the price is worth it!
The place is small, clean and can really feel the Japanese ambiance. Staff are attentive and nice. The food is affordable and delicious. I like the miso based soup, their noodles is okay, their servings are for sharing. One order of noodles is good for 2 person, can be 3, if you’d still have additional orders.
Overall, it’s a great dining experience.
My go-to ramen place here in Marikina area! Favorite orders would be Mabo Ramen, Gyoza, and Tonkatsu (super love the potato salad on the side). Plus, the staff are always polite everytime I visit here.
Food - Really cheap for a big bowl of ramen, less than half the price of ramen served in the bigger-name places. While the quality may not match those of the higher-priced ramen restaurants, it's definitely more than worth your money.
Service - Attendants are hard to come by since the place is always packed with people, so it's understandable. Of the two visits I've made to Tamagoya I've experienced both ends of reasonable serving times.
Ambience - Looks and feels like an authentic Japanese restaurant
One of the most delicious ramen in town is in Tamagoya! Specially their best seller, Stamina Ramen. I love the not-that-much-spicy taste, together with different veggies and fine pork. The best! 👍🍜🍲😍
Been to this place a few times with friends and family. The place is run by a Japanese. Good ramen variety and taste. Service is good but can be a little slow when the place is full. They don't accept tips. Price is cheaper compared to other ramen shops.

Ordered the Miso Ramen, Gomoku Ramen, Potato Salad and Chicken Gyoza
TASTE/SERVING SIZE: I didnt expect the Gomoku Ramen to be THAT GOOD! Super sarap ng broth, and the serving size was a little more than I can eat. The gyoza was 6 pieces, and it was alnost twice the size of other gyozas. The Miso Ramen was as expected, but did not disappoint. My only gripe is that the eggs were hard boiled, and both the eggs and chashu were bot marinated, leaving them to be bland.
PRICE: all the above for less than 700! For 2 persons (3 for us since we dont eat much)!
PLACE: As the place has a small area (even with a 2nd floor), it can be cramped if you go at lunch or dinner. We went there at 4:30pm on a Sunday, and there were already 6 people ahead of us.
OVERALL: 4/5. Not as good as other Ramen houses, but you get great value for money, and the best bang-for-the-buck ramen!
My second time to eat in this place and they do serve one of the best japanese dishes. Place is a bit cramped and location is a bit far but if this converts to a more affordable pricing, then its worth it!
I recommend the following must-try dishes:
- Tamagoya ramen
- Kara Age
- Yaki Meshi Rice
Keep it up! 🙂
Who wouldn't love Tamagoya?! Their ramen, especially Stamina ramen is really good. Also, the taste of their yakisoba is really the same as in Japan.
It will make you feel na parang you're eating in the same place where Naruto eats his favorite Ramen.
If you're looking for a restaurant that caters best the "Japanese feels" I recommend you Tamagoya. Whenever I think of Japanese cuisine with reasonable prize, Tamagoya always comes first in my list. Aside from the cleanliness of the place and the attentive staffs, it aIso offers different types of Japanese ramens and meals, you'll have a lot of choices. I have eaten here many times already but I can't get enough with their Karabuta don, vegetable salad, kara age and their Mabo Ramen, a good combination (complete meal).
Hope they will have a meal or something to offer that is good for 5 or more persons, a barkada meal or family meal so that those Japanese cuisine's lovers, together with their family can celebrate birthdays, or whatever. 😊
P.S
They don't have service charge. So feel free to order whatever you want without worrying about the service charge.
Ittadakemasu! ❤
This is my go-to ramen place because it is just us. I always order gomoku ramen and gyoza (my comfort food!!) it is really comforting and it makes me happy 😊
Anyone who’s reading my review, you should go try this place. Upon entering the restaurant, you’ll feel like you’re Naruto eating his favorite Ramen. 😁
5/5 for you, Tamagoya! 💯
The price is definitely worth it! The ambiance is good in terms of cleanliness and also friendliness of the crew. Their ramen has large serving and tastes good. Rice meals can beat your usual Japanese fast food rice meals at the malls. We like their karaage, torizangi, stamina ramen, tamagoya ramen, tonkatsu (with potato salad), and gyoza. This is one of the reasons why I love Japanese food ❤️
Great Ramen! I had the Tamagoya Ramen really tasty. And the price is much affordable compared to the mainstream ramen resto in malls. Can't wait to go back.
Food: 5

I love the food, with the price winner talaga. Medyo masikip lang yung place but service over all is very good. Will try again the other dishes next time.
Tamagoya's my go-to ramen place! I'm not a fan of ramen in general cos I that it's overpriced just for one bowl, but that's not the case with Tamagoya. For around Php 200, you can already have a bowl good for sharing! I love the mabo ramen - it's spicy and perfect for rainy days. I also like their karaage and chicken gyoza. A must-try when in the area!

Our go to place whenever we feel like eating ramen and we're along marcos hi-way. Place is a bit small but decors are on point. Price increased the recent years but I still think theyre reasonable given the generous serving. Staff are attentive and courteous. And hey, they don't accept tips. So Japanese 👌
Visited: June 5, 2018 with my family
Ambiance: You'll feel like you are truly in a small resto in Japan with the decor. (We ate at the counter near the entrance)
Staff: They are very attentive, courteous and very mindful (appreciate that they informed us on small details about their food). Upon entering and exiting the resto they would greet you. Also, crew embraced the attitude: "service with a smile".
Food: Overall, the food is really great, authentic japanese! The right balance of flavor. Oh and their serving is BIG! Here's the rundown of what we ordered
1. Age-Gyoza @Php128: Love it!
2. Miso Shiru 1 @Php58
3. Katsu-don @Php178: I forgot to ask if it is lossible to request additional donburi (hehehe, I'm guilty of pouring a little more donburi sauce on the rice but since it's for my son-prefers miso on his rice)
4. Mabo Ramen @Php228: just the right spiciness
5. Beef Yaki-soba @Php168: a little too oily (mom is not into alot of oil in her food)
Super love the food.
Service is okay.
Been our go to place to eat for Japanese cuisine.
Love their gyoza.
Love their karaage.
Not a fan of their shoyu ramen though.
Very pleasant traditional style Japanese Restaurant. If you’re looking for good Ramen/Noodles - this is a good place to go. Good portions; discrete service and not expensive. Worth a visit anytime.
Feels like you are in Japan, close to ramen place in Japan. Food is really good for its price. No wonder too many people are coming here. Will definitely come back for more.
Had lunch here with the family, before the Holy Week ended. The place was comparable to a hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Japan, with its unassuming facade, small entrance, wooden interiors and set-up of the seats, and basically whole look and feel inside.
After waiting for a few minutes, we were ushered to a flight of stairs to our table in the corner. Their menu was very diverse—there were a lot of options under different categories, from ramen, rice menu, side dishes and beverages. The prices were reasonable, and far more cost-effective compared to other ramen shops.
I ordered the Stamina Ramen, while my parents ordered the Miso and Gomoku Ramen. While far from being authentic, I was pleasantly surprised by how each of the broth had a unique, flavorful taste. Mine was spicy and sweet, slightly similar to the Tantanmen variant I’ve tasted in other Japanese restaurants. The serving size was also huge, that a bowl can be shared by two people. I didn’t finish mine and it’s fortunate that they didn’t have a “no take-out policy.” My brother ordered the Katsudon which tasted normal; I’ve had better, but for the price of PHP178, I had no major issues with it 👌🏻
If I were to be picky, one thing I slightly didn’t appreciate was that they didn’t offer free condiments (chili sauce, pepper, etc); we had to pay additional PHP5 for the chili sauce, which was very minimal, but I believe such staple condiments should be provided for free. But with the overall experience, this was already dismissable.
Overall, a positive food experience. Their area is quite far from where we usually dine at, but worthwhile to visit once in a while 👍🏼
Most favorite place. I would always love going back to this ramen house for their Stamina ramen or Mabo ramen. (Both are spicy) Very large serving. Their gyozas are a must try too. I love their Yakiniku-don but the serving is too small for rice toppings.
This was the first place in the area that serves good ramen. I love the place. Food is great. Service is excellent. For price, affordable.
What i hate about the place??? When I go there craving for some ramen, chuka-don and gyoza and realized it was Monday...

Am I Coming Back - I Already Did!!! NOT ONCE, NOT TWICE BUT.... I LOST COUNT!!!
I've been hearing good things about Tamagoya for years and I was only able to try them out just recently. The place was easy to find but the parking is limited and the resto was small but very charming. The waiting time for orders would take about 20 minutes but I didn't mind it at all since the food was so good and was well prepared. It's the best ramen place for me and I wouldn't mind going a little bit far to dine in this authentic and affordable place.
Eto the best to, ako na nag sasabi sayo di ka mapapahiya dito. Try nyo.

I love Tamagoya. The food was worth the price and the wait; the ramen was served warm, the karaage was crispy and its meat was filled with flavor and so was the tori zangi. The pan fried gyoza tasted awesome. At P118 per order for the gyoza, you'll surely eat more than 6 pieces (1 order). We ate here during peak hours but the service was still good. No wonder we keep coming back to this resto 😍
I haven't eaten here for over a year, because I moved further, but this is still my favorite when I'm craving for ramen. I just wish I can order extra noodles.
I love the food and the service~
Their food surpasses Ipuddo or ramen nagi for its taste and for only less than Php200!
I so love this place.
My favorite is the stamina ramen and ebu tempura rice bowl.
This place makes me feel so excited about coming back to Marikina/Rizal. I literally went here every week since the day I first discovered this place which was circa 2013. I never had a bad experience from this place and I absolutely love the fact that they kept the narrow space in between customers because it gives you that Japanese feel. I almost always order the STAMINA RAMEN - THE best ramen in my honest opinion. I am not a huge ramen connoiseur but man, this ramen is tha bomb! I never really had the heart to order anything else other than this because I feel like my visit would be a waste if I don't order it. On the side I order Kaarage. The only thing I do not like about this place is the parking space and that is about it. I have yet to come back to Tamagoya in my next visit to the Philippines. I am writing this in retrospect, years later I am still waiting to taste this beloved Stamina ramen - so you can see how much I truly love it. I suggest all ramen lovers to try this one and let me know about how that goes!
Unassuming Japanese restaurant known by locals to have excellently priced Japanese food. Ramen isn't cloyingly fatty, and the karaage is to die for.

Went there tonight to satisfy my husband's ramen cravings. Place is nice, parking is also ok. The store is neat and really smells good. We ordered the tamagoya and miso ramen. Both ramen are good but maybe because we've tried better ramen before that's why for me taste is just so so. They could have seasoned the pork a bit more. Service, two thumbs up. 1 serving ramen is good for 2. Will try their rice menu next time.
It is everyone’s dream to go to Japan and savor Japanese cuisine. Maybe it is due to their way of cooking and how they prepare their dishes. Also, to love Japanese food is through understanding their way of life. Since I love and appreciate Japanese cuisine, it is a MUST for me to discover Japanese restaurants in the Metro and I try to look for a restaurant that can be at par with the restaurants in Japan.
I've been going here several times already and on my recent visit, I noticed that they have sized down their ramen and rice meals selection on the menu. Also, their operating hours is back to normal (lunch and dinner only).
Ramen serving size can be shared by two.
I also like their pan fried gyoza.
For 2 bowls of ramen and a serving of gyoza, you'll spend no more than P600.
My mom and I both enjoyed our order unfortunately I was not able to try their famous gyoza. Will come back for more! So far, this is the best ramen place for me with a very affordable price 😉

Japanese food lovers! rejoice! Tamagoya serves affordable ramen and rice bowls. very delicious and quality servings. And you'll feel like you're in an authentic Jap restaurant! I would like to recommend Tamagoya ramen. (Noodles with special soy sauce soup base nibuta (its a pork) menma (bamboo shoot) and with nori (dried seaweed). Closed on Mondays and when you're going here, be mind on looking for the window hours. Very accessible (thru Sumulong Hway or Marcos Hway, or from Lilac street in Marikina)

This would represent a very small and authentic ramen house. Very hospitable service crew. Although i had to try something new such as curry ramen, an indian japanese inspired dish their stamina ramen hit the spot, the ramen slurp that i was looking for. The karrage was short because of its deliciousness.
If I want good tasting ramen without spending a lot, then I'd head to Tamagoya. Despite the distance from where I live, I really don't mind going out of my way just to fill my stomach with Tamagoya's ramen. The excellet food, superb service, and its rustic ambiance make this restaurant worth the visit.
Food is great and Very Affordable. We love their Ramen because of its authentic taste. Everything on their menu is a must try.
Ambiance is great!
Every thing about this place is great! However, they have Limited parking slot.
My h2b and i re-visited the place after 3 yrs. Glad to know they have expanded! The servers ate quite attentive to the needs of their customers. As for the food, despite being relatively cheap compared to other ramen places, they can still provide hearty meals. We especially like the Stamina ramen. My h2b does not like spicy food but he can finish the bowl by himself. The Gyoza is also very tasty as well as the Chicken Karaage. I will definitely go back once I am around the area!
Masarap dito! The best. Try nyo yung gumoku ramen. Sulit s sarap murang mura pa. Authentic ramen. Chef kasi nila yung owner mismo n Japanese. Nice ambiance ang babaet p ng mga staff. Good service.
I was looking for a ramen/noodle place since the rainy season started (and we were about to celebrate my 1st work anniversary) ❤️ anyway, searching on zomato led me to this.
We tried their Tamagoya Ramen since this is their house specialty. It's actually good for 2 people! I liked it but I actually heard the other customers ordering Miso Ramen/Stamina Ramen. I'll definitely try them next time!
For their Karaage, it's ok with me. Dip is good but has a bit strong taste. Rice is not the sticky Japanese rice. :(
Gyoza - best to partner with ramen 👌 we ordered the fried one. Maybe I will try the other next time.
Will definitely come back!
Super affordable japanese meals at Tamagoya ftw! Huge servings pa 👌🏽
Sayang lang cos they didnt use japanese rice, no jap mayo, bitin yung pork and egg sa ramen, they didnt use tamago rin :(
Overall, I liked the ambiance of the resto. Super jap feels 🇯🇵 dishes are ideal for its price!
When you step in at this ramen house, you're immediately teleported in Japan where Filipinos eat. That's how it is.
Their Ramen selection, taste and presentation can be compared head to head with other Ramen houses that are more modern and expensive than this establishment. It's actually more authentic than other Ramen houses in the Metro. This establishment is real deal coz it's owned and managed by a Japanese from Nagoya. It is actually surprising to see a resto like this in this part of town. It's actually one of the restaurants that started years ago prior to the restaurant boom in the area. The street where Tamagoya is, Hon. Soliven is actually conjoined with Lilac St. SSS Village in Marikina.
I particularly like their signature Ramen, Tamagoya Ramen. Curry Ramen comes in at 2nd and Stamina Ramen is a close 3rd.
Their Gyoza is a perfect partner with any of their Ramen dishes. Katsudon and Tonkatsu are not their strongest suit being a Ramen House but those are good too.
Service is great. They don't accept tip. Even the parking attendant won't accept your tip. Just honest to goodness Japanese business practice.
If you're not from the area, you gotta check this out. It's definitely worth your while.
I've finally been able to eat at Tamagoya. After a long trek at a nearby mountain, we've decided to take a stop over here since I've always read reviews about Tamagoya. Thanks to waze, I'm able to spot this location with ease.
Well for the food itself, I ordered the miso while Lovey asked for the beef rice bowl. I'm not used to eating ramen, so I've found my order 3.5/5 to say the least. It's a bit spicy for me, and that's the only thing I got out of my order. Same goes for the yakiniku. However, good thing about our visit here was their service. They take pride in their service delivery 5/5 for me!
We'll be going back next time though. I'll be trying all their bestsellers 🙂
Came here for a hearty bowl of ramen after a tiring hike around Masungi Georeserve. I ordered their miso ramen and it was good. It isn't as salty as other miso ramen I've tried but maybe not also as flavorful. But the serving is really big for a favorable price. Their karaage is good too. 🍜
For me, the best ramen house! Reasonable price and definitely worth the wait. Personal favorite MABO RAMEN!! 🍜 Second, GOMOKU RAMEN! 😋😋😋
Masarap and mura ung pagkain dito. And if you love spicy food, i recommend you try their stamina ramen 👌😉. Pero yung servers masusungit! Siguro dahil fullhouse lagi, lagi silang pagod. Pag weekends, agahan nyo pumunta kasi laging may pila.
My trip here was not planned at all. For all the time planning to get here with friends, it's this time that I got lost and am alone when I happen to drop by here. I got here lunch time about 12:00 noon. The place was packed but few waiting. But because I was alone I managed to get in faster than a group because of the limited seats. I ordered the miso ramen. Service was good. The ramen is as expected for the price. Not bad but not that good also. I scored 4 for the whole experience. Place was a bit small which resembles a ramen house. The ramen serving was big for that price, but the noodle was not what I was expecting for a ramen. It was like a miki noodle but tougher. I would really like to be back here.
My favorite noodle house during rainy days.
All noodles were like super bowls!
Staffs usually explain everything you want to order in the menu. More specifically the noodles which were kind of spicy.
The place is great. Japanese noodle house vibe! I hope they can do anything about the stairs. Hihi!
Get ready for rainy seasons! This noodle house is a blast!
GUMOKU NANBAN RAMEN is love!
The broth was somewhat thick and rich and very flavorful. The noodles texture was perfect and iys quantity, together with the veggies & seafood toppings were generous. For Php 220+ this bowl here is what I can call real value for money. I had this ramen for 2 nights in a row hahaha. Get the Chicken Karaaage too, it never disappoints.
The dining area was a bit cramped but still adorable. The comfort room was a bit dingy and a biy smelly.
Service was excellent.
Good location, great Japanese ambiance. Tried their Miso Ramen, it was OK. But their Tamagoya Ramen though, it was very promising! Will come back for mooooore!
Cravings satisfied. It was my first time to try here and what my friends are saying are true. I'm overly satisfied in their ramen. It was a real ramen not just a normal noodles. Big serving was price worthy.
Me and my family got curious because of the long line we see everytime we pass the restaurant, this time we got that chance.
I ordered the Tamagoya Ramen, tonkatsu with potato salad, kara-age, and the gyoza. I tasted the Curry ramen and the Nobi (I forgot) Ramen.
Ramen: Tamagoya- the noodles are thick, the soup has a tiny weird smell but still good. The soup base is light, unlike some of the ramen I tasted.
Tonkatsu with potato salad- same taste, a little darker breading compared to the others, and the fat is a little too thick. Potato salad is okay.
Gyoza- well done.
Ambiance- the place is small, that's why people have to wait for their turn during peak hours.
Servers- nice and accommodating people. :)
Give the restaurant a try. :)

The ambiance and feel is reminiscent of a Japanese ramen shop - quite close to the real thing. Their ramen is also one of a few which is close to the taste of real ramen.
Had tha Mabu Ramen, Gyoza, Katsudon and Karaage. Very good and reasonable! Will definitely go back to try their other offerings. The place had an authentic Japanese feel to it. It was jampacjed when we got there but was lucky enough to get seats right away. This is my go to ramen place! :)
Madalas ako kumain dito. Siguro sa isang linggo mga once or twice a week. Keep up the goodwork! Btw they have excellent service magagalang at masisipag po ang staff nila. Maasikaso sobra. At di ka maiilang kumain kahit mag isa ka lang.:)
If I'm not mistaken, it had actually taken three years before I was able to finally visit this ramen house. So you guys can just imagine my joy when I was able to set foot after waiting for so long. Is the wait worth it? Well, just like a coin, there are two sides--first off, I liked the very Japanese concept of having a sliding wooden door that has welcomed me by the entrance. The place is quite small so it gets packed easily. Now let's get on with the food. I loved their cold ramen although it's a bit more expensive than my all-time fave Japanese resto (Jyukai in Little Tokyo, Makati--sorry, I know I'm being biased), but I guess Tamagoya's cold ramen noodle is your next best bet. The serving is just right. The taste is also good. As for the gyoza, I also liked the taste although I wish it had more filling for its price. As for their ramen, I would like to apologize as I think there's really nothing special. It tastes just like any regular ramen there is. Although the noodles are probably authentic Japanese udon, still the taste is just like any average DIY ramen noodles. So is traveling all the way to this place worth it? I guess if you're into cold noodles like I do, then maybe you would appreciate Tamagoya more. But if you're used to the upscale and rather more flavorful ramen, then maybe this foodie place may not just be for you.
No doubt this place is a must try! My boyfriend and I ordered the following : Stamina Ramen, Pan Fry Gyoza, and Ebi Katsudon. The ramen tasted very well and the level of hotness was tolerable. I love the gyoza because its not too oily and the size is just right. The ebi katsudon was the best for me. Overall everything tasted authentic and the price is just right. The place has a warm ambience and the staffs were accomodating too. We will definitely comeback!😊
Grabeeeeee ang sarap ng rice ball nila!!! The place is nice too it gives you the authentic japanese feeling. Systematic din ang pagaccept ng customers kaya hindi magulo. I would definitely cone back swear!!!
We tried the Tamagoya Ramen, Stamina Ramen, Kara-age, Beef Yakisoba and Yaki Gyoza
Truly value for money. Service was a bit slow though because of the crowd waiting to be seated. I particularly liked the Kara-age. Tamagoya Ramen was a bit salty for my taste.
I've tasted so many different ramen flavors then my friend reccomended tamagoya's ramen. The place is very clean and relaxing. The staff is hospitable and they always smile. The ramen I ordered for the past couple of months was their Stamina Ramen which is a spicy flavored beef ramen. Their ramen tastes good actually and is budget friendly. The gyozas tastes good too! Must try!
I've been hearing good stuff about Tamagoya. This is highly recommended by CMA. We made plans swing by, rescheduled a couple of times due to parking challenges and just plain laziness. One Sunday morning, i blurted out, let's have lunch at Tamagoya. So here we are. Success rate for spur of the moment stuff is at 99%
Tamagoya Noodle House is quite a travel for the non-Marikina dwellers. One has to endure traffic and pollution to get here. Not to mention the limited parking spaces.
Upon entry, it felt like i was transported to Japan. It sort of reminds me of the Dojo in Samurai X. Wood is predominant, decor is traditional. Prices are reasonable compared to ze other Ramen joints.
He said that the servings are huge so we decided to share one bowl of Stamina Ramen and Chicken Karaage.
| Stamina Ramen php 198. Noodles with chili miso paste soup. A big bowl of steaming ramen was served, and yes, this can be shared by two people. The broth is flavorful, miso base with the subtle kick of chili. My only beef is that the noodles is mediocre compared with ze other ramen joints. I've enjoyed my ramen nonetheless
| Chicken Karaage. Php 168. It comes with shredded cabbage topped with Japanese mayo and a slice of lemon for a lil zing. I forgot about the veggies after I took my first bite. Gah! This is by far the best karaage I've ever had. Crispy on the outside and juicy on this inside. I completely ignored the dipping sauce, yes the chicken is that good. The only issue i have is that...how come they dont sell this by the bucket.
We had a satisfying meal at Tamagoya and we paid less than php 400. Now if that doesn't sound like a deal, then i must be going bonkers.
We went here last Wednesday and we ordered (1) Tamagoya Ramen, (2) Miso Ramen, (3) Chicken Karaage, and (4) 2 orders of gyoza. We arrived past 11am so we were one of the first customers. The ambiance is nice, and as my boyfriend describes, "parang Naruto". However, I did not get the reference at all. The service is fast; they were attentive and polite. Also, they do not accept tips, even the ones who assist you in parking.
Ramens are priced at more or less 200 Php each. They are delicious but do not expect the taste of Ramen Nagi or other ramen of similar price range. They would also warn you that Tamagoya Ramen has a strong smell, but we did not notice it at all. I also liked the taste of gyoza because it is not bland, unlike the more expensive ones that you order from other Japanese places. Finally, Chicken kara age is my favorite. It is something you would finish even after eating whole orders of gyoza and ramen. Finally,
We would definitely come back. Later, actually. :)
