There are far too many instances where people made joke about where I live. They say that this area of Pasig-Cainta boundary is already the countryside or the province. I clapback and say, “I live in the suburbs” haha! I’m really torn about living at the outskirts of Metro Manila/border of Rizal if we talk about the worst traffic jams in C5 especially that I have worked in Makati and now in BGC. It takes me forever to get to the heart of Metro Manila but I’ve been living in this area half of my life already that I’ve gotten so used to the hassles of travelling from where my family lives to any point in MM.
we’ve arrived at antipolo and the 1st stop of our PADIs point food crawl is here in sumulong. food’s about to be served and i cant wait to sink my teeth in their classic offerings to w/c they’re known for.
we had an array of offerings and it waa aplenty! started w/ a colorful plate of nacho chips, worked our way through the cheese sticks, dynamite, chicken nuggets, onion rings and mozzarella balls (boy that dynamite was a kicker!). their pancit canton topped w/ liempo was love, then that colorful mexican pizza (unfortunately, the crust was not baked through) the sinigang had a real soft pork belly in it, the sisig was toothsome and the pata- killer as well as the sawsawan. the grilled liempo i wanted to be selfish w/ but i had to share it w/ thw group. i did eat lotsa spoonfuls of the mangang hilaw and bagoong (kudos to their bagoong, yummeh).
to down all that we were served cocktails and fruit shakes w/c were great to fight off the summer’s heat.
Padi's Point Antipolo Sumulong boasts of the best breathtaking sweeping view of the Manila skyline paired with yummy food & drinks... So worth your trip to Antipolo.
I like the Barrio Feast combo with fried tilapia, fried chicken, grilled squid, grilled pork belly, green mango with bagoong, and tokwat Baboy.
Go also for the Crispy Pata and Pork Sinigang.

Perfect place to chill. Either drink with your buds or just eat with your fam. I recommend you go here at night to have a spectacular view of the metro! So beautiful!
Sisig is pricey but ain't yummy. Not sure with their other menus. Service was slow as well. But this will not let me remove stars from my rating 'cause this place is great!
Me and my friend had a great time in this place that we even finished a Zombie Cocktail Tower! It was a fun night.
Unlike with other Padis Point branches that are so dark inside with LOUD music, this branch is quiet and peaceful. Again, a perfect place to chill and maybe a perfect spot if you would like to be on "senti-mode" while looking at the metro skyline.
Ordered their frozen strawberry margarita. It's delicious. It's cold and the liquor is strong.
Great view of metro Manila. Go here on a sunset. Just bring a mosquito repellent to be safe because this is an open area.
Parking space is limited.
The go to plave if you like to combine fine dining, drinking and sightseeing in your list of activites.
Food quality and menu is satisfactory while tge view is spectacular especially at night!😊
Padi's Point Sumulong Highway is the only Padi's Point branch that I go to.. Its the perfect place to chill and have a beer with a special someone or with your friends that has a perfect view of the city lights of Metro Manila.
The food was great but service was pretty slow (had to check up on our order a couple times and even asked for the kids' meals to be prioritized because they were so hungry, and even when they brought out our food they had lost track of a couple items); then again it was a Saturday evening and maybe the kitchen was understaffed.
But the view alone is worth it - SO gorgeous! And the food is still quite good, so I would definitely recommend as long as you're not in a hurry to eat.
Padi's is a very good place to dine and chill with friends. It also have an amazing view especially on sunset. I also like their service. But around 8pm onwards, their are lots of customers already.
My friends and I first went here as an alternative to going to Tagaytay which was an hour or two away depending on traffic. We found Padi's Point as it offered a really good view of the Metro and it had nice kubo's for big groups such as ourselves that wanted to dine away from the rest of the people situated in the restaurant. The food was like any other, but it still tasted good for the price that we paid. We got the pizza and the usual bar food such as cheese sticks and sisig.
