All dishes cooked from scratch! Super liked their bread. Chef Jennifer was so accommodating! Hope to see her again in the near future.
We drove all the way up here to check this place out. It was a Sunday so although there was quite a bit of traffic going up, we managed to find this quaint little italian resto in the heart of San Roque, Upper Antipolo.
The place was not too big but not too small either. I guess it was a slow Sunday since we were the only ones inside. The waitress gave us the menu and we ordered the Italian Wedding Soup, Chef’s salad, Tiramisu, Quattro Formagio and Spaghetti Bolognese which comes with a free dessert. I also ordered their home brewed iced tea.
While we wait for our order, we were given two pieces of bread with vinaigrette dip. It was hot and good.
The food was authentic italian and bf and I were so full when we left.
The pizza crust was just about right, it’s thin crust and crispy. The spaghetti bolognese was not too oily nor did it lack that flavor. The serving was hefty but I did not share because I came there famished (haha) You can really taste the freshly squeezed tomato in the sauce and i love it.
I asked bf about his italian wedding soup and he said it tasted okay. He said that the broth tasted like something he would prepare mixed with sayote and carrots. “It was fine”, he said.
However, I did not like the home brewed ice tea. It tasted more like a “salabat” than iced tea, I did not enjoy it at all.
The price for such a sumptuous meal is just about right. It won’t put a hole in your pocket but the food sure will fill you up. If will be given another chance, i’d like to try their other dishes. Thank you!
Best Italian resto so far here in Antipolo! Chef is a pinay who worked in Italy.
Food 4. Ambience 3. Price 4. Service 4. Food is very good. We had putanesca and aglio olio and they were properly cooked. Obviously the cook knew how to emulsify the oil based sauce. The pumpkin soup is at par with any five star hotel. Ambience is okay, nice clean and quaint. If there would be for improvement is the pizza which is not the fluffy authentic dough, but still a solid 4 on taste.
If you’re looking for a homy place where you can read a book and eat delicious food, better check this out. I ordered Aglio Olio and Pizza Margherita and boy I didn’t even notice I finish it all while reading. Will difinitely be my hang out place. 😊
If you guys wants a laid back place, try il Ristorante Di Antonio. The food is great and they have accomodating staff
Best Italian Resto nearby for me! 💗
Food was fresh and reasonably priced! We couldn't ask for more.. we will definitely come back and bring other friends, too! 🥰
The food, the place and the service reminds me of my trips to Italy
Authentic Italian cuisine
Quality over quantity
How often do meet the chef when you eat in a restaurant? Thank you for the great experience and company Chef Jennifer and staff.
We will definitely comeback
Super good food at reasonable prices. We got quatro formaggi, capriciossa, lasagna, spaghetti bolognese, carbonara, fetuccini, and aglio olio. It was so good we forgot to take photos until we were halfway through the meal haha! Definitely a hidden gem in Antipolo one should visit when in the area.
At first I was quite doubtful since it was my first time to be here, I have always been particular with food especially when it comes to pastas and pizzas. Once the food was served on our table, I surprisingly felt hungrier as I took my first bite. Their pizza had a tremendous flavor, it was quite different from the usual pizzas I'd taste, but I consider it as one of my favorite pizzas. Pasta? Well-cooked and flavorful, especially when it comes to pestos, in most Italian restaurants I have encountered all I would usually taste is bland oil and little bit of herbs but their pasta didn't disappoint. They proved me wrong because I always thought pestos are supposed to taste bland, and I'm thankful that they gave me a new experience. As for their rice meals, I ordered their beef tapa, and reasons why I'm happy with it because of how tender the beef is and how it's not too salty and even if it was garlic-ky it wasn't the type that was too much. I would highly recommend this place especially if you're highly into pizzas and pastas, it's a great place where you can lessen the need of breaking your budget, and the staff there is accommodating which we also loved about the restaurant. Please do visit their restaurant! ❤️
Everything we ordered here was great. The Capricciosa pizza is a must try. The food was served by the chef herself. It also came with free pumpkin soup and bread for appetizer.
Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I went here with friends who love eating good food as much as I do. We heard a lot about the place and did some research about it before going, and boy, the other reviews and ratings did not fail us! il Ristorante Di Antonio offers a variety of Italian dishes from sandwiches to risottos, coffee and desserts, and staples pasta and pizza.
As appetizers, we ordered their Quattro Formaggi and Prosciutto e Formaggio Blu Pizzas. The pizza are made fresh. I love it that it they are thin crust.
For a quaint restaurant like theirs, you wouldn’t think that they would offer as much pasta dishes as they do! Me and my friends had a difficult time picking out what to order since they were all mouthwatering. Since we were a large group, we were able to order a lot and had a chance to taste many of their main dishes. We ordered:
- Fettuccine ai Funghi
- Linguine alla Marinara
- Penne alla Norma (this was my favoritr of all)
- Spaghetti di Strampelli
- Spaghetti alla Bolognese
- Carbonara di Ale
- Spaghetti alla Puttanesca
Pasta serving is generous! Ordering it alone can fill one up. If you pair it with pizza the meal can be for two. Pasta cooked is al dente, and all the sauce is light and not overpowering.
As if the pasta we ordered weren’t enough, we also tried some of their risotto dishes too:
- Risotto ai Funghi e Zucchine
- Risotto al Pollo e Spinachi
- Pollo al Marsala
For dessert, we had Tiramisu, Tartufi al Cioccolato, and Panna Cotta. For me, the Tiramisu is the star of their desserts.
Ambience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The restaurant’s feel is not imposing and unassuming. Keeping the place relatively small with a few tables, you can expect that your dining experience will be pleasant. We went here in the afternoon until dinner and it was lovely.
Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The owners of the restaurant are hands on in managing the place be it in the dining area or inside the kitchen, so you’re sure to have a smooth experience.
Price: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Best thing about the restaurant is the price. I couldn’t stress this more. As my friend said, “why would I spend hundreds in other Italian restaurants when I can have the same quality at a very reasonable price at Il Ristorante di Antonio?” We haven’t eaten in another Italian restaurant since we went here more than a month ago. 💗
We were seven in our group. By sharing, we were able to taste 6 of the pasta dishes. All were excellent! But I particulaly liked the funghi (mushroom), followed by the Strampelli (clams). We also ordered two kinds of pizza, prosciutto and blue cheese, and four cheeses (I liked the prosciutto and blue cheese better). We couldn’t have enough of the authentic Italian food, so we ordered risotto, before dessert. We had mushroom and chicken, both were equally excellent, but i am partial to mushroom. Then we had dessert. We ordered all in the menu! #WhenInAntipolo don’t fail to visit #IlRistorateDiAntonio to savour authentic #Italian food.
Finally! We were able to come here yesterday, and boy, was it a feast. We had three batches of orders. Started of the afternoon with coffee and pizza, for merienda, paired with conversations. Oh, it’s a nice, quaint space, perfect for a relaxed afternoon and evening. Then for dinner, we had pasta, we made sure each of us got a different one, so when the food came, arms and forks were all over the place, getting a bite from other plates. And we were quite full, but still wanted to try another pasta dish and the risotto, so we did just that. And finally, we ordered all three desserts. We got beer and wine too. Awesomely delicious meal, I tell you. Chef asked us which is the best dish and we couldn’t answer. Everything was great. Thank you! Hope to be back soon ❤️
hindi ako pala promote ng resto pero eto talaga, really made our day. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
authentic italian restaurant, excellent ang lasa (no joke!) plus 101% customer service magmula sa chef and staff (walang echoss)!
definitely our newest favorite place! 💋❤️
The staff were sooo nice and the food was really good. They say that the pasta is good for one but it could feed two people. Fresh ingredients, and the place is too cute.
1- I looooove the pizza (I think the crust is “homemade”)
2- the iced tea is lemongrass flavor
3- Bolognese is not that sour (as opposed to my expectations, but it’s okay, I know not all Pinoys will appreciate an authentic italian pasta)
4- the antipasti is ❤️ too
5- ambience and staff are 👍 👍 👍
IL RISTORANTE DI ANTONIO
Antipolo City (Across Unciano Hospital)
A cozy place to dine in.
Minimalist designs.
Paintings.
Clean and crisp.
I must say, if you want freshly cooked meals visit this place.
MARINARA CON FRUTTI DE MARE 4/5
The taste of fresh ingredients and their signature sauce and spices made this dish something special.
QUATTRO STAGIONNI 3.5/5
Expecting for something more or I must say I am hunting for that specific spice or herb but I cannot determined which ahahah... but this pizza must be good, I wasn't able to take picture of the whole pizza ahahah...
PUMPKIN SOUP 3.5/5
Creamy and tasty, but I hope the serving size would be bigger.
Would probably come back for that romantic, calm and quiet ambiance.
We came here because I heard good reviews from our friend who is from Antipolo.
Il Ristorante Di Antonio is located along Circumferential Road (aka L. Sumulong Circle) in Antipolo. It is easy to locate even for those who are not from Antipolo. For those who are not from Antipolo and commuting, from Antipolo church get a tricycle and tell the driver to go to Yellow Cab in Circumferential Road. This resto is just above Yellow Cab. For those who are coming with a car, not abundant but the arcade has enough parking spaces for you. We came 9pm so it was pretty easy for us.
I ordered Putanesca Pasta while my hubby had Seafood Risotto. Although it took sometine before our food came out, it was all worth the wait. The chef herself received our orders and served it herself! The waitress helped to make us feel comfortable while waiting. Love the food and the calming ambiance. Will definitely be back!
The place has a nice vibe and great food! The owner is very nice as well and told us that they use healthy and organic ingredients to make the food. You can really taste it, very simple, but really nice. Food is also relatively cheap---meal for two, we got the Chef's salad, Margherita pizza, and two pastas for around less than P800. Excellent quality for the price, especially with the puttanesca pasta! I think what could improve though is that the waiters could be more attentive in things like giving us small plates, refilling our glasses, giving napkins, and the like. Would go back here for more :) They also cater for events apparently!
Food was fresh, delicious, and incredibly well-balanced... reasonably priced as well. Great date place for foodies in Antipolo. The best part, though? Jennifer was an absolute gem from start to finish. She knows her menu very well and you can count on her for recommendations from food to wine. Next time you want to have a night out in town, go to Il Ristorante Di Antonio. You won't be disappointed.
New place, food was fresh and tasty. Would recommend their quatro formaggi pizza and bolognese pasta. Service was also good, there was complimentary pumpkin soup and the chef/owner personally greeted us and gave us wine on-the-house. Hopefully the food and service stays the same even after a while 👍
My boyfriend and I tried the new open Italian Restaurant here in antipolo. And we're not disappointed! 🙂 The service is excellent! The staff are really accommodating. The food especially the pizza and pasta are the best! Totally worth the price 🙂 Will surely comeback the soon!! 🤗
I love their pizza,
It was perfectly cooked and the pasta is so yummy! 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪Authentic Italian...Superb! Service was excellent too. They even served pumpkin soup for free which is by the way so tasty. Kudos to the chef! Good job!
