First time in Antipolo and first time to eat here. It's actually unnoticeable from outside but for a guide, it is in front of Antipolo Hospital near the Citywalk Suites Apartment where we stayed. We were starving since we just came from Pinto Art, so we wanted a heavy, cheap lunch and this is recommended by Zomato.
We ordered the ff:
- Chicken Inasal (totoo nga! Mas yummy kesa Mang Inasal)
- Sinigang na Bangus Belly
- Baby Back Ribs
Total bill is less than 1k and we have ordered a bowl of rice pa and drinks. So sulit and I would dine here again given the chance. Plus points din sa free parking.
For improvement, I would suggest to add an additional aircon unit since the place tends to get cramped especially during lunch and aircon cannot compensate.
Very great food experience over here ,staff was also great very accomodating space is limited but very comfty. Thank you guys well appreciated😘
The best Filipino restaurant I've dined in-generous servings.
They should think about expanding. Since we frequent the place, there are times that we have to wait to be seated.
Yaaaassss this is also a Filipino cuisine go to and it is great. And to be quite honest- their Chicken Inasal is A WHOLE LOT MORE BETTER than Mang Inasal, or any other Inasal specialty restaurants and damn you should really try this place. It's just great
Kapitbahay has a good offering of Filipino comfort food. Well priced, service is pretty much average but very well priced. You have to try their Bulalo Sinigang and Bulalo Pochero. It can be all meat or all tendon (litid) or combination of meat and tendons.
I don't usually give comments or rate a place especially when it comes to dining.. All i can say is....i can recommend your place to all of my friends... Sinigang na salmon, baby back ribs and lumpia.. Busog much kami ng family ko.. Thanks coz we spent mothers day dining in your place... Thumbs up!!!!
This is the only kapitbahay that I miss. Their fresh lumpia is really delicious and so is their sinigang na salmon belly sa miso. Their service is excellent too! The place will also make you feel at home as if you really are a kapitbahay. Good job!
bad-good-great-excellent
location: great
ambiance: excellent
food: great, the beef was very tender, juicy and tasty. we'll visit again to try their kare-kare
service: excellent
price: great
restroom: n/a
We often dine here since the staff are too accommodating after we held our simple reception for our wedding last April. I find my self coming back for their Tinola sa Buko and their Spareribs. Their lumpiang ubod is super fresh everytime I order them and according to my husband their Kalderetang Kambing is to die for. Will absolutely come back for more.
I ate here last night and all I can say is their Laing is so delicious and we were served as if we were important guests. Kudos to you guys! :)

The kare-kare was so delicious. It was really worth the wait. It taste not so sweet not too salty. The boulebaise was not the worst because the seafood is not fresh. The waiters are attentive and willing to listen to what we'll say for their improvement.
Went here last week. I ordered Seafood pasta and hot choco. The pasta is served with toasted bread and taste delicious. I suggest that they place the pasta in a bigger plate. I felt that the need for more space in the plating while I was eating. Anyway, the hot choco is served on the small teapot where you'll pour the content in the small tea cup (cute). The hot choco taste like a natural cocoa, which is good, not too sweet.
The interior is simple yet spacious enough to move around.
Must try: Bulalo, Bbq ribs, seafood rice, pinakbet
Serving: 2-3 persons
Serving time: 5-10 mins or less
Price: 150-300+ /dish
Very homey meals, tasty and the staff are very accomodating
Didn't like: pork sisig - too dry, steamed prawns- not fresh
*definitely will come back again 👍🏻
Hubby's lola is partial to Filipino food and eats more when familiar dishes are served. We tried Kapitbahay a few weeks ago.
On the table
🔹Tadtad Mangga
🔹Nilagang Bulalo - very generous serving and tasty. I found it a bit salty but the rest of the group still seasoned it with patis!
🔹Pinakbet Baboy at Hipon - ok flavorwise but I've had better.
🔹Inihaw na Bangus - yummy and the best part ...it was boneless!!!
We were also given complimentary dilis while waiting for our food. Nice platters and plating. Servers were knowledgeable and very pleasant. Quirky sayings on their menu too.
Lola loved everything and this was the first time she finished a cup of rice. I bet we'll be back pretty soon.
*parking available at the back of the buildings
**they deliver within Antipolo
Waiters are welcoming. Much better than beeffalo beside it. There waiters seem not to know what they are doing and are rude. We walked out and went here. So much better. Glad we did :)
