Great food that's really probably the best Japanese Food I've ever tasted! Staff is just as great, being courteous the moment you step and all the way through. Definitely recommend this to anyone if you want authentic Japanese food worth that's worth every penny.

Everything is great, from friendly and accommodating staff to great food, not to mention very affordable prices. We've been here 3x already from last Sunday's first visit. :) Authentic Japanese food a stone's throw away from our place... Perfect!
One of the best Japanese resto I've ever been!! Authentic Japanese Sushi and many more! Great food and very affordable!!Also accommodating staffs. Kudos to all the team!!
Authentic yet affordable Japanese food. Owners and staff are very accommodating.
I'm pretty surprised to find a nice Japanese cafe that has quite good ambiance, good and affordable meals all the while placed in a location that's quite accessible but also well-hidden from the average person's eyes.
If you want a quick Japanese fix without spending a lot each onigiri they got is less than PhP 50.
Definitely taking a few on the road and definutely planning to stop at this place on my next trip around here!

Yum! For bout 55 you get a big onigiri! And I love their sushi, too! 😊😊😊 Prices are good and you get complimentary soup and coffee jelly! ❤️
Loving the food from this restaurant. ❤️ So delicious and healthy at an affordalble price.
This restaurant is definitely a go-to place for an inexpensive fix for my Japanese cravings. It's a hidden gem along a busy highway. The food is good! My favorite so far is their Niku Udon. Their onigiris are also super delish. The owners and the staff are also very warm and friendly! This is my second time, and definitely not the last. I'm so happy I discovered this resto! 😄
I’ve been enjoying meals at Yuky’s since it opened. This 2017 FB post basically sums up how grateful I was at the time I discovered the simple restaurant named after the daughter of the owners. The owners/cooks are a husband-and-wife team who used to own a Filipino and a Japanese restaurant in Japan so you know that their Japanese home-cooked meals are legit. The staff are very attentive to diners’ needs and the food is reasonably priced so I have no complaints. I still come here for my quick ramen fix.
You can’t go wrong with their salmon sushi! It’s one of the best I’ve ever tried and it went beyond my expectations for such a cheaper price. I will definitely order again.
Quality isnt compromised especially their vinegared sushi rice. I recommend their melt-in-your-mouth sushi and ramen and order carry-out onigiri while you're at it. They could improve a bit on their meats.
If you're craving for authentic "home-cooked" Japanese cuisine, then this is the perfect place for you.
Everything is specially prepared by Shachou, his wife, and their amazing crew.
HEALTHY FOOD
The food here is superb, high quality, heart-warming, and healthy--and I mean really healthy. I honestly believe that they're an advocate of balanced meals and is clearly shown in the ratio of vegetables to meat and rice on their dishes. Sometimes, if you're lucky, they'll give you rare Japanese side dishes, like Konnyaku, tsukemono, boiled vegetables, and salted Lima beans. Be sure to eat them, as they are healthy.
Note: It's rude to leave food on your plate (contrary to Chinese restaurants), for it goes against the Japanese concept of "mottainai". As respect for their cooking, and for the blessing of having food on your table, try and eat everything (or have your leftovers packed for takeaway).
AFFORDABILITY
The cheapest dish you can order from Yuky Japanese Restaurant is a 20 peso Tamago Nigiri Sushi, and the most expensive is a 300 to 500 peso dish (excluding sushi platters/bilao which are pre-ordered).
Every peso is worth the spend because they only use high-quality ingredients, and use MULTIPLE Japanese condiments to build up flavors unique only to Japanese cooking. They get their flavors from natural umami sources like katsuobushi, konbu seaweed, mirin, etc.
ONIGIRI
They have a really cool ONIGIRI menu with loads of wacky and traditional flavors. 1 onigiri can be as good as 1 meal, as it's already made from rice. The cheapest one you can get is the Yukari Onigiri, which is flavored with crush red shiso leaves and a bit of salt
I love their Ebi Tempura Onigiri Sandwich. Generous serving of salmon sashimi too! I would definitely come back to eat their sandwich and try the other onigiri flavors. Good value for money and very much recommended!❤️❤️❤️
We had a takeout of sushi and onigiri. The Tamago Sushi(P20each) is really good it is worth the money as it is huge that you could be full. It is also nice that they put it in a reusable tupperware.
We ordered the Beef Curry onigiri(P59) I think it is best to eat immediately as it is fried but even if it is cold the taste is still great. There is also some beef and curry powder inside it that makes it very tasty.
We also ordered the Negi Chasu Onigiri(P35) it is mixed pork, green onions and sesame seeds. It has a good texture due to the sesame seeds.
We also ordered Tuna Cucumber Onigiri(P44) the taste is very refreshing due to the cucumber. The taste is simple and also tasty at the same time.
There's not much of customers due fastfood and popular food brands nearby but I hope people visit this place. They also make your food after ordering so it might take sometime but they are very accommodating. The size of their food is quite big so for the people with small appetite I recommend you to have it shared to others. It is also best to go there with friends and family.
All in all the food is great and I recommend this place for people who crave japanese food or have some onigiri which they have alot to choose from.
